3441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHy the fuck so many alt coins? on: January 13, 2019, 02:39:34 PM
Why?

People want to get rich?

Bankers want to bring down the bit coin system, by flooding the market with alt coins?

Just stop creating more alt coins!
There seems to be a bit of bad rep about the number of coins in the recent couple months. I have started to see more and more topics of how new coins are bad for business and whatever constantly, that is not to say people are wrong about the subject but they should realize that ICO and new coins are not a new thing.

Back in the day ICO wasn't a deal but people created their own coins constantly and premined almost half of the coins themselves as a means to make money later on and just published the wallet like a start and than manage to get people to use that coin instead and they would sell their coins small by small to make the funds needed.

All of the big coins you see started that way and wasn't a big problem considering for every big coin like eth there was a thousand useless coin. This is not a new thing and the only difference is now people need to pre-fund something before it comes out, so if they stop funding bad ones we will not have this problem at all.
3442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Trade cryptocurrencies comfortably with profit on: January 12, 2019, 07:19:31 PM
This has been a topic for couple years now and seriously noone has figured it out yet. When you have too much money (hundreds of millions of dollars like a bank) than I am sure you would be capable of changing the market the way you want and that is a way to trade crypto the way you want.

You can literally buy crypto from cheap over the counter from a set price instead of buying from the market so you don't get a loss but than you can sell it on binance and drop the price of bitcoin single handedly and cause panic sells coming in, which would mean you can use your cash on bitmex short futures and make money.

Obviously, you would need enough money to buy and sell at a level where it affects the market, someone with couple thousand dollars wouldn't even be remotely enough, you need at least 100+ million dollars for such a deal. Aside from something like that, there is no comfortable profit in crypto trading.
3443  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to go for 10,000% plus profits in 2019? on: January 12, 2019, 03:42:33 PM
In terms of returns what digital currencies do you predict are in the running for a podium finish in 2019?
I felt like I had a seizure reading this topic. The topics name and the OPs post all made me feel like maybe I am not really at myself yet and need my morning coffee. I know obvious troll is obvious troll and people write here for the giggles but seriously this is one of the lowest efforts I have ever seen.

First of all 2019 will not bring you 10.000% plus profits, nothing will, nothing EVER will in the future as well. 2019 hopefully will be a better year than last year (technically quite possible considering 2018 was the year we lost about 80% so anything even remotely lower than current price would be better than 2018) but nothing that big. Also, what the hell is a podium finish, this is not a horse race, this is a forever thing, we are not like doing a 3200 yard dash or something, we will be here in 20+ years time as well, so lets calm down a bit.
3444  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's the real price? on: January 10, 2019, 04:46:10 PM
Real price changes constantly. Bitcoin doesn't have one true price, bitcoin is mostly depends on what people think it worth and nothing else, some people think bitcoin is backed by the miners and the cost of mining is the true value but in reality we have seen that is not true quite recently.

Bitcoin mining cost was a lot more than current price but when price went down the miners stopped mining (some of them) and the difficulty dropped as well which made the mining cost a lot less. Hence we can see from that bitcoin cost is not the true price. It is only backed by people and people who think bitcoin worth a certain amount, sort of an agreement between buyers and sellers which changes constantly. As long as we do not turn into some sort of stable coin (impossible) price will keep on changing.
3445  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrencies a ‘Load of Nonsense’, Claims ECB Council Member on: January 10, 2019, 02:05:17 PM
I would expected something like this from FED or UK central bank but from Estonia it seems a bit weird. Estonia has been one of the biggest online countries in the world even giving chances to people to get citizenship and starting online business based on Estonia (with the tax going to them of course) quite easily. When you are head of a central bank of a country that is so much heavily invested into online world you should be really careful about what you say about the "online money" to begin with.

Crypto companies are looking to start their companies in Estonia for more relaxed laws there and help them get more money from taxes may not like what he is saying. Of course the reason why bitcoin exists is to end central banks like he is leading but nevertheless we are not trying to destroy them, we are just creating competition.
3446  Economy / Economics / Re: PREDICTION IS SOMETIMES LIKE A FALSE PROMISE on: January 08, 2019, 07:55:16 AM
Predictions are just guessing what will happen to price, we cannot predict the exact price of the bitcoin because of its unstable price. Like what happened last year,  people expect that the bull run will happen last december but there is no bull run that happened.
Not just guess-work. Predictions should be derived through strong technical analysis and due to many peoples are just blabbering what strikes in their mind, many people are not having good opinion about predictions and speculations. Even we cannot predict the exact price levels, we can approximately sure about where the market will be turning around. This is how usually predictions are working but only with the help of God, you may find exact predictions by foreseeing the future.

if you want to take advantage of existing predictions then maybe you can use it by taking the price in the middle of the predicted.
You mean you should not wait for actual target to be achieved and you should like to book in the middle itself ? You sound like you're good but this way you cannot enjoy all the long markets as you will be securing your capital in the middle itself. I understand this is a safer way of trading but definitely will be less profitable.
3447  Economy / Economics / Re: Predictions 2019: 3 potential triggers for the next Bitcoin bull run on: January 07, 2019, 05:51:25 PM
I am not fully aware of what security token ecosystem will be doing with bitcoin markets. But, I believe just any one of positive news will be more than enough to have another strong bull run. I believe there are many possibility of a big crypto related event to happen this year that may be approval of bitcoin ETF or launch and success of bakkt. But, I believe as of now we just need any one positive news and that will be more than enough to stir up the bulls.

Because, when bitcoin market into rising mode, it will automatically start attracting more number of new investors and they are real need of having strong bull run. Yes, we must need to attract lot of new investors to take care of another bull run. Waiting for good news Roll Eyes.
3448  Economy / Economics / Re: The Never Ending Story... on: January 07, 2019, 05:14:47 PM
Where did DEBT started? Why did it exist?

Thinking about of the impossible is that, even if you stay in the planet for about a thousand year, the Debt of every country will never be payed off. Hence, it will just continue to grow. The current economy of every country doesn't knows that well. And by just a simple thinking, We should have a restart on everything.

Imagine this, you're just sleeping on your bed all day but you're debt on the government is not sleeping instead it keeps on rising every second. Such an unfair situation in life of every single person.
When a country says they won't pay their debt their economy becomes less trusted and that causes the economy to go even worse.

Think about it like this, if US government owes others 20 trillion dollars and says they will pay it somehow they just keep on having the same debt and get bigger overtime, however the day US says they can't pay the debt back than their bonds will be sold for pennies on the dollar and the currency will become less valuable and other countries that owe a ton of dollar because of the inflation that created by the instability will be capable of buying a lot of USA lands, products, companies and so forth with less money (more dollars, less value) which will make it even harder for USA to get out of debt.

Hence, governments actually do not try to hide this behind something because they know if they keep this up eventually their money will be insanely devalued which really cripples the economy and causes them to lose votes which is what all they care.
3449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What coins do you like to trade the most? on: January 07, 2019, 02:28:07 PM
I think the most common thing I trade is bitcoin/ethereum/nano. Bitcoin because I love it and that is the original coin and it has been quite steadily growing in attention and interest of people over the years, it was the first coin I have ever owned and I will always keep some of my money in there all the time.

Ethereum because I love how it is developed and I think people behind ethereum know what they are doing and they are improving the coin at the right direction all the time and with the dapps, ico/sto and blockchain used in companies etc etc that means ethereum will have a great future.

Nano because I once bought it thinking it will go up and it didn't and now I am in big loss so I am trying to drop the averages as much as possible but to be honest they do have an amazing technology behind it making the transactions instantly and free.
3450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is not your fault that you are loosing in trading! on: January 07, 2019, 01:53:20 PM
If we are into trading. We must be ready on all the good or bad things that may come on our way. Maybe we lose some in trading because we made the wrong decisions.
Similar to market which is having ups and downs, performance of a trader is also having ups and downs. We cannot expect all the times to make profits from trading as losses also part of each and every trader's life. What we can do is, trying to minimize the losses as much as possible compared to the profits we are making when possible. We need to accept losses when entire market is not doing well, when the tides changes hopefully we can make more profits than the losses we had.

this year we must only trade cryptos that are well establish in the market.
This is the key and it is very simple to be followed by any trader. Yes, identifying the crypto which are well established is not a big task because by having few criteria we can easily choose them for our trading. Unfortunately most people are trying out new coins for making enormous profits and this is the reason why they are failing and finding themselves depressed over the time.
3451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: January 07, 2019, 12:45:17 PM
I’m also wondering how they can earn big profit through this, but I’m confident that there’s no cheat on this. Looking at the collectors table, it looks like they earn more from the small money of every player.
In my country also, this kind of games are very popular but as far as I have experienced I'm sure they are all cheating. They do use dice for deciding the winner and winning amount. When counting the dice numbers they are cheating or they know how to shuffle and how to get their own preferred set of numbers so that they can only when all the times. I'm not sure what kind of tricks they are using but winning here also it is not that much easier one.

Even we managed to win against them, they will not allow us to leave off. They will enforce/convince to continue until we will lose. This is how they are managing this business and here also only the "house" wins always.
3452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: January 07, 2019, 12:02:47 PM
Quitting is easy if you want to achieve something, but never easy if you want to stop doing what you always do and what you always wanted to do. This is what you called addiction, and we all know that its really hard to over come. Is this the end? Is there any cure?
Quitting will be possible only when a gambler decides by heart and not just by world. Deviating our focus into something else may help for most of the gamblers but finding another new interesting thing will be a difficult one practically. This is the reason many times entering to married life or falling in love kind of things helping gamblers to quit easily.

Human mind is capable of adopting anything new but it should be attractive enough. Addicted people must need true affection and care so that they will be able to deviate their focus into something new. Help from family and friends definitely will bring changes in an addicted gambler's life.
3453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: January 05, 2019, 06:45:33 PM
It's poker, so I tend to disagree for those who believes that it is pure luck. Skills are badly needed in order to survive and win in poker. You will be battling each other with emotions, observations, strategy and of course luck.

Experience is an advantage of course.
But, you have not answered the exact possibility of playing long with poker ? Just curious to know that. I agree poker is not based on pure luck but having experience is more than enough to win there ?  Because I am ready to play as longer as I am able to so that I will be gaining more experience and after having all the required experience, is their any guarantee that I will be winning in poker  consistently ?

Experience must be an advantage everywhere and not just in poker. If you are well our of what to do or what not to do in dice gambling then you can lengthen your stay in dicing for the same strategy and for same bankroll comparatively.. I mean to say experience is a handy even in dice gambling not just in poker.
3454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto fell into wrong hands in December 2017 on: January 05, 2019, 05:38:17 PM
I have been saying 2017 was a fluke all year long. People mistake the highs and the lows too many times. We did had a 20 thousand dollar high in 2017 but look at what the low is for 2017 as well, it was if I am not wrong something like 700 dollars or so. Look at 2018, we didn't have a high like 2017 that's true but our lowest has been 3200, about 5 times higher than the 2017 low which tells you yes people are not willing to buy for 20 thousand dollars but people are not willing to sell for 700 anymore as well, you have to see the best in every scenario you are dealt with.

Hence, I think people who run away because it is not 20+ thousand dollars or people who try to drop the price and make money from shorts and all the things in between that causes the price to go down are wrong. We are in the BEST year of bitcoin right now.
3455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Fork Delta affects the crypto negatively? on: January 05, 2019, 04:07:55 PM
There are many exchanges that is on the market, many people also are focused on gaining profits on their cryptos.
I just noticed that Fork Delta is something to worry about. I see, many people here are using it to sell their tokens right after they received it especially bounty hunters.
They sell it in a low price and synonumously dumping their tokens even if they know it is promising in the future.
Another thing I see is that, you need to import your private key which I find unsecured.
This is happening with every exchange not just with forkdelta. May I know why you are targeting only this particular exchange ? It is obvious that everyone wants to make the maximum profits before someone else dump the market once the new coin/token will be hitting the exchange. It is happening each and every exchange as far as I have seen but you are complaining about only one exchange is there any special reason for that ?

We cannot blame anyone to sell for lower prices or higher prices as it is completely their personal thing. We cannot interfere at any form into that. Market is trading lower that must be the only reason why they are selling at lower price levels. I believe only the devs need to take measurements to keep a proper value for their coin/token when it is getting dumped in an exchange. When they are not taking care of that, such coins are getting delisted over the time after heavy dump.
3456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Fork on: January 04, 2019, 04:49:36 PM
Could this be something like an experiment for bitcoin? I mean I know rich getting richer was exactly what bitcoin was created against but PoW creates a bigger problem in that sense. People with equipment mine a lot more than other people and even more than people who can't afford any equipment at all. If we could at least turn bitcoin into PoS system we could make sure we each get same % on what we put in.

Ethereum will test this out now and we will see absolutely no difference between people who have a million ethereum and just 10 ethereums, they will both have same % of income no matter how much they have. Maybe bitcoin could transition to something like that and since bitcoin had scaling issues not having any miners and not depending on them could be a bit better ? We need to see how ETH will scale before we can make that decision of course.
3457  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2019 BITCOIN Price? on: January 04, 2019, 09:22:35 AM
Currently the value of BTC is around $3900 which is good sign we are seeing the value not gone below $3000 from past six months. For sure the value of BTC will reach around $8000 or more before Dec 2019. I believe Crypto is going to pump again with good results especially the price of Bitcoin and ETH.
You mean in next 12 months, we are going to see only $8000 levels ? I do not think so. Because, bitcoin is known for quick jumps on any positive news. Yes, the entire bitcoin market is looking for a positive news to happen and anything if happen then we may have prices above $10k levels for sure. At the same time, I am also believing there will be a less chances for prices to fall below $3000 levels as there are enough investors to support bitcoins.

In December 2019? I think we can have at least 15,000$ or maybe even 25,000$ but only if new investors will come and will insert an important amount of money during 2019, and if this will happen we can have over 30,000$ during year.
Very much possible as I am also believing into new investors. I study few exchanges and the trading volume is not having any significant improvement but volume is good like what we had in 2016 and 2017. It means we got more investors but need more money flow. I guess more money flow will be possible only from financial institution's contributions.
3458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is 'capped' at 20k maximum now, because of high Fees (till when?) on: January 04, 2019, 07:05:30 AM
I think the issues of high fees has been deal with sometimes ago and we are surpose to have low fees even if bitcoin went as high as $100,000. I think by now fees is no longer the problem because bitcoin was made to provide low fees.
Ye,s the problem of scalability have been resolved once we got segwit activated and right now the total number of pending bitcoin transactions to be picked by next block in memory pool is less than 1600 transactions and optimal fee per Kb is 1170 satoshi which is ~4 US cent as per current BTC value. Do we still need to consider that tx fees is stopping bitcoin's rising markets ?

How do we assume that the ATH of $20k was set by tx fees ? I understand OP like due to high fees, there were no new investors and due to lack of new investors bitcoin was struggling to get beyond $20k. But, since 2018 beginning I was not seeing high tx fees, still bitcoin was falling down by failing to attract new investors.

Tx fees was a reason why bitcoin's value was not rising. But, now we got many other problems like whales manipulations and due to those reasons now we are trading below $4k and honestly not thinking about $20k as of now, just $10k also will make me a happier bitcoin investor.
3459  Economy / Speculation / Re: A little hope and questions for 2019. on: January 03, 2019, 03:57:55 PM
I see market conditions becoming more stable and experiencing a slight increase at the end of December, and hopefully this will continue until 2019.
What do you think?
What is the next prediction about the market at the beginning of next year?
I do believe the assumption of nothing below $3200 and nothing higher $20k is actually quite valid. People assume just because we are close to $3200 that means we can go below that number but being close means nothing if you do not have the proper sell off. We were at $20k at one point and did it take nothing to make it $25k ? No, it took a lot to make that and we didn't manage to get there, why would it be any different for $3800 turning into $1200 or whatever people assume ?

Hence, I think it will be a year of $4k-$10k levels testing each other constantly and we staying somewhere in between for months without moving. That is how you know you are in a stable market and considering people are tired of doing chaotic things on bitcoin, stable is where we are headed for now.
3460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 02, 2019, 04:46:06 PM
Manchester United will be facing tottenham next week, that will be one of the biggest games for them so far this season. They have fixed their ways and have been going 3 out of 3 recently and pogba+rashford has made insane leap since mourinho left. They are only 6 points behind arsenal and arsenal will be facing chelsea + city this month, which means there is a chance arsenal loses 6 points this month, not 100% will lose thing but has a potential.

Manchester united will play spurs and that's it, rest of them are burnley, brighton and this week newcastle so they are easy 9 points for this new united team. If united manages to grab 12 points and arsenal loses like expected, united could leap towards european cup level at the table. Chelsea will not play against anyone that could cause problems for them so I assume united won't be getting any closer to chelsea at this point of the season, maybe later on.
