This is a public forum. Therefore, when a seller is posting here, there is a reasonable expectation that not every reply will be in their favor. For instance, if someone was selling a widget at 100% markup, and I make a reply stating that it's overpriced (with links), am I doing anything wrong? As long as what's being posted is true, the poster has provided evidence to support it, and it's relevant to the topic, it should not be removed. If the seller really doesn't want any replies, he/she can always lock his topics.

EDIT That laptop is only expandable to 8GB memory, mine is expandable to 16GB. Guys please stop derailing my thread, this is getting very annoying. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) because expandable memory is an important selling point. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

chargeback can still happen even if you take all those precautions you listed.

They look very cool. But what are they intended to be used for? They are definitively too strong for playing around and too weak to cut materials. I am sure there are billions of other uses for lasers but right now none comes to my mind. So a round of question to the interested parties: what would you use yours for?
high power lasers only have one purpose: burning shit up! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I am running a bitcoind node on AWS. I cannot give accurate estimates, but bitcoind generally does cause more disk I/O than is provided by the free tier.
PS. I was curious where my "internal AWS transfers" were coming from. This thread reminded me that I am probably talking to other AWS bitcoin nodes. I believe AWS publishes the IP ranges used in each region. It would be interested to see how many other AWS nodes there are.
is there a way to reduce the IO by increasing the DB buffer?

tl;dr version: bitcoin 0.4.3 works fine, but 0.4.5 fails. it says wallet is corrupt. is there a way to re-create my wallet so it works with 0.4.5? verbose version: I have been using bitcoin-wx since i got into bitcoin. Even after bitcoin-qt was released, i never upgraded, mainly because i don't like the qt layout (waste of space). Versions up to 0.4.3 works fine for me, but when i tried to upgrade to 0.4.4 and 0.4.5, i get this error message upon startup: --------------------------- Bitcoin --------------------------- Error loading wallet.dat: Wallet corrupted
--------------------------- OK ---------------------------
I have spoken to Luke-Jr about this issue, and he has offered to help, but i would rather not disclose my wallet.dat file (it contains some semi-sensitive transaction data). so i guess the only way is to reconstruct the wallet file. there is pywallet, but there's no way to mass import/export keys.

There are a lot of pools out there, and miners still go to Deepbit, let the Invisible Hand decides.
do you have a better argument than just reciting the free market slogan?

the chips aren't magical, they make their profit margins by mining on each unit for 3 months before they ship them out

you can't because it's in the auctions section. editing is disabled in that section to prevent editing/retraction of bids, or modifications to the listing.

see signature Mine with p2pool to prevent one pool from amassing too much power. Did I mention it's free and hop-proof?

Yeah I had the litecoin webminer working on my blogs as its more CPU efficient then bitcoin tho it was stopping some people viewing my blogs but it was hashing so took it off until it is more developed.
This is why I disabled all java applets on your blog whenever I visited... that's why i have noscript on ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Seeing as 100CAD is about 100.50 USD, 100.50/4.85 = BTC 20.72 plus some for shipping and handling, let's say BTC 22?
22 BTC + price of shipping. You can choose any service you want from canada post's site, but I won't be liable for any losses incurred in-transit. I can, however provide a video of me placing the bill inside the envelope, sealing it, and dropping it off at a drop off box.
