Smooth, a guy asks you to provide him with data and physical evidence and you go attacking him for it? People like you act just like religious people when confronted with actual logic, by the way, I completely agree with Neil and frankly, if we had proof of sentient life ( We've already got proof of organisms and water in space ) it would have been reported on extensively ages ago.

Science never agrees with "Because I say so" arguments, if you don't like being peer reviewed, don't get involved in the first place, there's plenty of evidence to suggest that there's a possibility of sentient life, but as for actual evidence of them being around yet? The people who say they have seen them are full of shit because they'd be bringing all kinds of evidence along to prove it, I know I would be, I'd also swiftly pull a Satoshi Nakamoto and disappear after I'd done it.

That's another thing that makes me think that people like this are just making it up, because when Satoshi made Bitcoin he knew it would cause a ton of trouble so he kept himself carefully hidden, the same would go for any evidence of alien technology or life, the governments out there would definitely want to do something about it so if these guys actually knew anything they'd mysteriously wind up in a mental hospital or something or just disappear altogether.
3442  Economy / Services / Re: WANTED!!! NEED A 3DS MAX DESIGNER (0.25 BTC) on: September 30, 2014, 08:13:52 AM
I was about to rip you to pieces for expecting people to do that much work for such a low amount but when I saw you specifically say you'd turn down professionals I stopped, at least you're being honest, I've been fed up lately with these people coming on the internet thinking they can rip people off for their hard work by taking advantage of how difficult it is to get work these days.

Even if you're not expecting anything fantastic, I'd offer them a bonus if they do a particularly good job.

3444  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'Best solution’: Elderly Belgium couple plan joint euthanasia on: September 30, 2014, 07:16:48 AM
I have always thought euthanasia a personal option, a Constitutional right emphasized in the 10th Amendment, not to be infringed upon by the well meaning, but not in my shoes people who oppose it.

Many questions arise, even here where the couple has decided for themselves, about the beneficiaries.....cold and calculated son's response "best solution".   Yikes, hope my children keep that opine to themselves.

It is purely a personal choice, If I ever became just a lump of flesh that couldn't even shit properly without assistance I'd want to end it there and then rather than be a burden on society and be in pain for so long, it's another classic case of particularly religious people trying to subvert the law in order to enforce their own personal beliefs on other people. It's the same type of thing where if I was in a fight or flight situation and surrounded by enemies, I'd want to go down fighting rather than give up and get tortured or anything else for that matter, you wouldn't want to let yourself get captured by people like ISIS for example.

Fact is, it's all consented and they're incredibly old and sick so they wouldn't have made this solution lightly, should have seen this poor terminally ill guy who wanted to commit suicide when we were having this debate in the UK, he ended up crying when it was announced the law couldn't let him die, frankly I consider it also a form of torture to keep someone that long beyond their life when their body naturally wants to let go.
3445  Other / Off-topic / Re: TeamSpeak or Skype ? on: September 30, 2014, 06:51:58 AM
When I do chat I use Skype, my only problem with it is it is centralised and you can't block people in group chats that act like douchebags.
3446  Other / Off-topic / Re: Black holes do NOT exist and the Big Bang Theory is wrong ... on: September 30, 2014, 06:29:46 AM
I love that, even the Daily Mail commenters think this is a load of bullshit LOL Cheesy You do realise that they spotted black holes with fucking telescopes and probes right? They didn't even need to do mathematics to prove they exist, I love religious people like BaDecker, the more science proves them wrong the more desperate they get.
3447  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beer vs. Water on: September 29, 2014, 02:33:45 PM
I can't understand either, the only alcohol I've genuinely liked is mead and that's because it's sweet, basically fizzy honey in a glass for those who haven't tried it, but I still prefer the more non-alcoholic drinks any day.
3448  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beer vs. Water on: September 29, 2014, 02:18:36 PM

Water obviously.
People who say beer have their priorities wrong I think

And you know what is "right" and what is "wrong"?
Or are you just quoting society or religious norms?

I fell offended, I like to drink beer everyday, and YOU come here and say it is wrong.
I suggest you take your bottle of pussy water and stick where the sun don't shine  Angry

He's getting angry, because he's just drinking nothing but beer he won't be able to stay hydrated, then there's the state of his liver in the long run Tongue Oh and he won't be able to pay the bills or anything because he'll be too wasted all the time to function properly.

While the US does have an enormous amount of debt to these countries, you left out the fact that they also owe us a gigantic debt which doesn't get factored into the "we owe people money!!@!@!2121" equations. We've loaned trillions to China, Japan and other countries.

America hasn't loaned other countries 'money' they've loaned them government bonds and paper money which are worthless, China in particular has been quietly buying up lots and lots of precious metals for a long while now, while Americans have been arrogantly doing nothing, convinced in the superiority of their dollar.
China is using dollars to buy things like gold, which is traded in terms of dollars. They are still, for the most part, relying on the dollar for the majority of their assets.

China is also a net creditor to the US in the amount of Trillions of dollars

That's like saying I'm relying on the pound to pay for education and Silver/Bitcoin LOL! Cheesy No, it's shorting the currency, if all you're going to do is spend it and not hold for any long period it's obvious that it doesn't have any value, inflationary currencies don't encourage spending, they force people to spend because the purchasing power of the currency is being destroyed.

The Chinese are preparing to dump the dollar which is why they're spending it on more worthwhile assets and if you seriously think the dollar is worth more than gold you need to go and check the prices lmao.
3450  Other / Politics & Society / Re: HONGKONG DEMO on: September 29, 2014, 11:19:50 AM
ISIS aren't a threat to democracy, they're a bunch of psychopaths bent on killing us all that managed to form a state.
3451  Other / Politics & Society / Re: HONGKONG DEMO on: September 29, 2014, 11:04:15 AM
You mean like Ukraine? Yeah, I know what you mean.
3452  Other / Meta / Re: Poll to Ban Bicknellski from Bitcointalk for destructive / Hate Posts on: September 29, 2014, 09:52:14 AM
Fuck off OP, don't go asking for bans just because someone says mean things about people, just put them on the ignore list, that's what it's for.
3453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In these desperate/FUD times, here's my (I hope) unbiased view of Bitcoin. on: September 29, 2014, 09:13:40 AM
We've seen these kind of slumps before and everybody swarms the forums screaming about how Bitcoin is going to fail blah blah blah, happened with ASIC's, happened with MTGOX, happened with scrypt mining. While I don't think that Bitcoin is going to be as strong as it once was because of Altcoin competitors I'm certain it will still be around and still worth more than the dollar ever will be.
3454  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just lost 8 BTC on: September 29, 2014, 07:28:13 AM
Happened to me on a smaller scale some time back, my resolution now is not to gamble
Remember the bank will always outlast you and win

Same here. I was playing roulette on cloudbet like a dumbass. Turned 1btc into 3btc. Then I lost all those and dumped in 2btc trying to break even. The problem with gambling is that when you're up you think you've got some sort of golden goose. It's hard to quit that. When you're down you don't stop because you're trying to break even. It's not until it's too late and there's nothing left that the reality of the situation sinks in. Damn shame.

I'm being a dick because I think we're being trolled here. If I'm wrong then I apologize. I know what its like to lose. I've lost almost 100btc before. It's not a good feeling. If this guy lost his btc and his wife then I feel sorry for him. Even though its his own damn fault, I still feel sorry for him. The only way he could make it worse is if he kills himself. Then he's spreading his losses over to his friends and family. Best to just use this as a life lesson and bounce back stronger from it.

I can understand the paranoia because we've had a lot of begging threads of this nature with sob stories attached and they all claim they're desperate and have nowhere else to go despite being able to afford an internet connection. I won't jump to conclusions about his life or anything but I am waiting for him to start posting up donation addresses and start asking for Bitcoin.

Funny thing is, the moment you start questioning them for details and start trying to get them to open up more they immediately get aggressive and finally bugger off, just like real beggars now I think about it.
3455  Other / Off-topic / Re: People with best and worst trusts on: September 29, 2014, 07:19:55 AM
I really need to do something about my trust rating, it's not that it's bad, it's that there's absolutely no feedback lol Tongue need to make more products -_-
3456  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just lost 8 BTC on: September 29, 2014, 06:01:16 AM
The really ironic thing about this is 8BTC is plenty enough to get into cloud mining and actually make a profit from it wtf? O_O how can people be this bad with money?
3457  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just lost 8 BTC on: September 29, 2014, 05:27:02 AM
Life lesson: Don't fucking gamble, especially with a large amount, just don't, no matter how tempting it is.

I hope you learned something from this, I really do, the amount of people that come here screaming about their losses from doing something stupid you'd think people would pick up that gambling etc. is a pretty bad idea.

It says it in the bloody article, stop making shit up.
3460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Reddit] College student receives 0.38 bitcoin by holding up a "Send Bitcoins" on: September 28, 2014, 01:34:25 PM
Reminds me of a guy who had several job offers for holding up a looking for job sign in the London Underground. I think its quite enterprising...

I've heard about that kind of thing too, I remember reading somewhere about a guy who had a degree in Aerospace Engineering or something and did that and ended up getting a job.
