I'm reading papers and (as every other day) news about a girl being stabbed and killed by a 15 year old boy in the centre for immigrant kids without parents. Then right below an article about migrants in Austria, where they we're not following the rules of the pool, breaking the inventory and were going into women dressing rooms, and of course the leftist party and socialist are critisizing them... She was not arrested, she might maybe perhaps get a fine. Police has nothing to do with that. What's stupid is that law forbidding to own a perfectly non lethal defense equipment. I'm the first one to defend gun control policy. No citizen should own something lethal, but pepper spray will cause nothing more than a huge headache and crying like a baby! Why not allowing citizens to own one??? I'm pretty much sure it's even better than just fighting bare hands! A municipal fine certainly can result in jail, for example if it is not paid. Pepper spray has it's own unique attributes and dangers, for example if it is used inside a closed environment such as a car or bus. At least to that extent, there are cases where using pepper spray should result in a fine. A municipal fine can result in jail time after a dozen of years of non paying. Which is different from being arrested. That's all I wanted to say. I totally agree on the use. It shouldn't be used without a very good reason and any use of a paper spray can be considered as an agression. But as a paper spray has no lethal possible use and only very marginal dangers it should be allowed to citizens. It's just a question of where you put the limit and I would put it on instruments that are proved lethal. |

The European Union member states such as Germany and the United Kingdom are not capable of taking part in major armed conflicts. The armed forces there are very under-trained and unequipped. The only European nation which had a viable armed forces was Greece. But as a result of the financial crisis, the situation there is also not looking that good. Hum hum... Excuse me? Ever heard of French army? You know the one actually fighting right now? And the only country in Europe having independent nuclear submarines with nuclear weapons on it???
