3461  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold and precious metals should scale to buy coffee on: April 15, 2022, 07:22:02 AM
Precious metals minting standards need an upgrade.

...

The current implementation of gold and precious metals do not scale.

A cup of coffee cannot reasonably be purchased by shaving gold dust off a bar and weighing it on a scale.
...
This could help in places like ukraine where financial transactions and internet access could be unreliable.

I don't quite understand you. Are you trying to go back to the past? Scaling up precious metals to be used as day to day currencies would happen if there was a need and a market for it, but the places at war where the internet sometimes doesn't work, still use fiat currency, of bills and coins with which you can pay for your purchases.

I don't see a future scenario where gold and silver will have to be used for small payments, as there are better alternatives.

3462  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥+43% ROI in Feb.🔥 ⭐TomPicks⭐ Daily Predictions ✅ 64% Win rate ✅ 2.3+ odds on: April 15, 2022, 07:07:14 AM
I signed up for the service, i'll let you guys know the results when the month ends.
Any ways all the best and hope you will give us feedback of your experience with the service, but don't forget to add every detail needed when giving out you experience since your account is a new account we may not trust you unles you give clear .evidence

The OP so far has no negative feedback. Don't know if no one from the forum is availing his service except the newbie here or no one is complaining yet. But knowing the forum users, they will just opt for free predictions because if they know the sports they want to bet, they will just look for more hints or someone else's predictions. But not to the point of paying someone without very solid track record.

I think you got confused here. Tellek Garing was talking about feedback on results/experience with the betting system, not feedback regarding the forum trust system.

Anyway, what a newbie can comment on his experience with the betting system is not going to be of much value either.

As for what you comment, I am in DT and I could tag the OP if I had clear evidence that he was trying to scam people but I can't tell if that is it or he is genuinely offering a system that he thinks works.

In my case I have two reasons why I don't try his alleged system. The first is that the results he has achieved in the short term may be due to luck or positive variance and the second is that if I had a system that I was confident of with that ROI, the only thing I would do would be to invest and reinvest all my available capital to earn more. I would not be trying to sell the system to others.

You won't see any of the more experienced forum members testing the system because we have seen many of these offers over time and they end up in one of two ways: either with people getting scammed or with the OP disappearing when a losing streak comes along that messes up the results he promises.
3463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy shareholders letters that more bitcoin would still be bought on: April 15, 2022, 05:02:22 AM
This isn't really that much of a surprise, no?

No, it is not. At least for those of us who have been following what Saylor has been doing since it started buying.

What he does is something similar to what DCA does and buys, say $50 every week. What happens is that he does it in a sophisticated way, taking on debt to do it, keeping a relatively low debt to equity ratio. Watching a couple of videos of him makes it clear.
3464  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitcoin.in on: April 15, 2022, 04:50:29 AM
... the site is okay, even though I have not played their games but from the looking at the surface of the site. The site features are transparent. Average network connection can access the site.

They have already explained that the easiest way is to play their faucet. You can play once every hour. Start with that. You don't need more to test the site. You get free satoshis, if you are lucky you can get up to $200 in satoshis in one play, and what you get you can use to test the other parts of the site.

You don't need any more theoretical explanations, what you need is to try the site.
3465  Other / Meta / Re: Monthly Report Statistics on: April 14, 2022, 05:02:50 PM
For about 32347 reports that are was handled as good in relation to the bad reports the bad reports isnt much i guess.
But what me wonders is the unhandled reports since the last updates its 4 times higher as the last one .
Dont know maybe there are some reports that normaly shouldnt be reportet and the mods dont get to it.
I guess if that is the case a few reporters should be thinking about what they reporting , thats just my opinion but i can be wrong.

I am not entirely sure about the unhandled reports either, but I would say that it is due to:

1) The moderators don't see enough reason to act on the report or mark it as bad.
2) Maybe for lack of time or some other reason they remain unhandled. Although I thik of this second option as less likely.

But I do not agree with what you have said that I have put in bold. If moderators thought that those reports should not have been made, they would have marked them as bad. In any case, I suppose hilarious or some other moderator will clarify this.

3466  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat, CBDCs, all of these are enemies, your only friend is Crypto! on: April 14, 2022, 02:52:09 PM
Recently CBDCs is becoming a popular subject of discussion. Long story short, they are designed to be similar to cryptocurrencies but still with a lot of differences. They are totally centralized ad misleading to people.
As it's claimed, CBDCs are designed for safety and stability unlike bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that are volatile and speculative.
But you know what?

Look at this! You work hard, work hard for years, save some money, and finally what? Their Safe and Stable currency fucks you You still have to work because this shit currency lost its value and it's not enough for your future and your dreams.

In my opinion you and all those who have commented before me have left out the most important point: the absolute loss of privacy.

CBDCs emerge not only as an alternative to Bitcoin and crypto, but as an improved version of cash (supposedly). The problem is that with CBDCs governments and central banks are going to know exactly what you spend where your money, and the exact time to spend it.

Cash, as bad as it is in terms of its devaluation, gives you privacy. With some exceptions, like when you buy expensive things that have to be reported, like a second hand car for example. But if you go to the supermarket, the store, the pharmacy etc, and you pay in cash there is no record linking you to that purchase, whereas with CBDCs they are going to know everything.

3467  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which would be better ? on: April 14, 2022, 02:37:39 PM
It depends on the player how does it suitable for them some people want to use a strategy mind games such as the card games to make a profit and some of them want to watch and let the player win their profit which is a sports bet with my experience I mostly do with the sports because I'm active in the current matchups of the players, standings, and the map plays so it's suitable for me to know already which team is good to bet. It's all depends on the player.

I'd also say that as for sports games, with skills, study and a good bankroll management you can beat the HE and be a long term winner. Very few succeed, but it is possible. On the other hand with casino games it is not possible to beat the HE in the long term. You can make money in certain sessions, as well as entertained, but the long term is inexorable EV- for the casino games player.
3468  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: April 14, 2022, 12:55:12 PM
The thing is, if you are realistic enough, you'll understand that winning is not the only situation you'll experience in gambling, you will also experience losing because that's part of the game. Therefore, it's very important to manage the risk, and manage yourself when you are losing to make sure you'll stay disciplined, otherwise, you'll lose control and you'll chase your losses until you lose everything.

Remember, regrets always come later as the saying goes.

Yes, the problem with gambling is that many times people get carried away by emotions. They know they have to stop at a given moment but the desire to recover their losses gets the better of them and they end up losing more than they should. Although I can also tell you that sometimes winning a big jackpot can also get you hooked and the following sessions you end up betting more than you should because you are looking to repeat that thrilling experience of hitting the jackpot.

That's why you have to stay as rational as possible and above all have a bankroll and make a good bankroll management.
3469  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Improve writing style to Rank up. on: April 14, 2022, 12:42:12 PM
Those who want to increase their reputation in the forum should try to improve the quality of their writing.

Writing style doesn't have much to do with forum reputation, but I think you were actually referring to what this fellow says:

Your aim is to rank up, my aim is to get problems solved, either my problems or others' problems, do you know how some Indians used to write? The words might look bad but what they are trying to say might make a lot of sense, I can't condemn someone because of how they wrote a sentence I am more into what they are trying to say.

I believe that neither one thing nor the other. When we write we have to take care of the style and try to express ourselves as well as possible, always being aware that we are in a forum and that it is not necessary the same formality as for example in a university environment.

On the other hand, OP, it is not very coherent to give people advice to rank up having only 16 merits for 64 activity, people could make easy jokes with that.

3470  Economy / Gambling / Re: Profits from gambling with crypto (UK tax question) on: April 14, 2022, 12:24:42 PM
... or consult a lawyer on how you will pay the tax for yournmoney to save you from trouble.

OP, this is the best advice you've ever been given. It is good to come to the forum to gather opinions and see if there are people who have been in a similar situation to yours, but at the end of the day, I have seen several threads of this style, and in the end it is best to consult with a lawyer who is a specialist in crypto taxation. With the money you have withdrawn, you have enough pay him for a consultation or even have him prepare your tax return for you. Think of the money you pay him as an investment.
3471  Economy / Gambling / Re: Watching Our Kids From Something That Could Dangerous To Them on: April 14, 2022, 12:11:43 PM
Some time ago I visited my friend's house...
Then, I also thought if this could cause symptoms of addiction to continue playing the game and later it could be accidentally, they see adult content such as pornography or gambling or others easily. The role of parents who give freedom to their children in using cellphones does not seem to be felt by those who are starting to grow up. I see that a teenager has started to be equipped with a smartphone.

What do you think about the situation above? Do you have any such situations like me before?

From what you say, I am surprised that children can gamble with their cell phones. Porn is very easy to access but to play in fiat casinos they have to go through an age verification process to prove they are of age. The only exception I can think of to this is if they are playing in crypto houses that do not require KYC. But for that they should have bought crypto, and being children I don't think they have a lot of money or have bought in DEX, because in the CEX they are not required to have KYC.

So I don't really get your story, unless you give more details. But if the moral is that it is better not to expose children to gambling, I agree.

I at first replied in some of his threads, but since I realized he was a bad troll, I put him on ignore. He must not have much life. If he at least got paid for writing that crap, I could understand it. It would still be garbage but I can understand someone writing that for money.

I can imagine him with a lot of free time and few friends, kind of a NEET who writes from his mum's basement while eating doritos.

3475  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Real Estate Investing “with” vs “in” Crypto on: April 13, 2022, 04:00:21 AM
-snip

This is too complicated. If we want to get cash without trigger a capital gains tax we have a much simpler option which is to borrow against our Bitcoin. There are several entities that offer this type of loans and it is a system that has been popularized by Saylor and others, explaining how the rich never sell their prime assets and what they do is borrow against them, and as the price of the asset rises, refinance.
3476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: buy my home with bitcoin on: April 13, 2022, 03:33:00 AM
I doubt you will find a buyer for your house for the reasons you have been told and because the vast majority of the forum is accumulating Bitcoin, they can spend small amounts but buying a house in a lot of Bitcoin.

On the other hand. why don't you sell the house in your local currency and then buy Bitcoin?

If you want to sell directly in Bitcoin for privacy or not declare it I doubt you are going to achieve it, because the buyer will want all the legal papers.

3477  Economy / Services / Re: [HODL] [banned mixer] Signature Campaign | Up to 0.005 BTC/W on: April 12, 2022, 01:40:42 PM
Plus I was under the impression that this was going to be a long term campaign, that's why I agreed to leave Lutpin and Crypto.games. Hahaha. But it's not your fault, icopress.
Of course it's not his fault; it's your fault of not reading something properly. It was literally on the first post on the first page of this topic. It says the campaign will run for 2-3 weeks, so I'm glad it even went for a third week since it didn't seem guaranteed from the start.
You probably saw the '0.005 BTC / week' and stopped reading.

I believe before you post with that tone, first know the context. He messaged me privately ser. Cool

Plus is there something that I did to hurt you? I never had an encounter with you in the forum before, yet I feel like you have something personal against me.
Oh no, no, nothing personal, sorry if it came across like that. I was messaged by icopress, too, but still read the announcement, and do believe that it's the responsible thing to do. Otherwise it's like not reading a contract, only because it was handed to you by a friend. That's just my opinion, though.. Smiley

Well, I have to tell you that although you read it, you didn't seem to pay much attention to the following:

➥ The [banned mixer] campaign will last at least 2 or 3 weeks and I will be making payments weekly.

I put it in bold for you.

I wasn't going to say anything to you but you already said something similar in the past:

Thanks icopress, thank you also for the invitation to this campaign and the last 2 fast and reliable payments. Smiley Don't worry, you're not losing me! The campaign only continues for one more week, right? And I have to wait 2 weeks to wear the new signature, so it's all good!

When it says "at least" two or three weeks, it obviously means that the minimum will be two weeks but the maximum is not defined. It could have been months or years without stopping.

I don't know much about the history of signature campaigns in the forum but I imagine that none of them start a campaign saying that they will last for years.

The normal thing is to try a few weeks/months and if the businessman sees a return on their investment in advertising, it is normal to continue paying the signature campaign.

3478  Economy / Services / Re: [HODL] [banned mixer] Signature Campaign | Up to 0.005 BTC/W on: April 11, 2022, 09:11:02 AM
Hi icopress, thanks for everything and let's hope the campaign continues.

The only doubt I have is whether to remove the signature, as I don't mind wearing it this week but I also don't want the owner of [banned mixer] to think that he gets the same people to the site if he doesn't pay for advertising.

On the other hand, thank you for the bonus I want to specify and correct me if I am wrong, it will only be a bonus if the campaign stops definitively. If we continue next week, they will be deducted from the future work, and then it will not have been a bonus, but I prefer this second option, lol.

Whatever happens, thank you very much to icopress.
3479  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system on: April 11, 2022, 08:34:34 AM
I included naim027 in my trust list because I saw that he had included me in his
This isn't a good reason to include anyone.

Just to clarify that of course if we take that sentence isolated from the context it would not be a good reason to include anyone.

What I meant to say is that what motivated me to look at his trust lists and feedbacks is to see that he had included me.
3480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not trust this devil woman, she wants Bitcoin dead on: April 11, 2022, 06:25:49 AM
I do not trust her as a representative of the established power and the fiat system of infinite debt, regardless of the claims she may make about Bitcoin.

In this case, like others we have seen, it is one more of "if you can't beat them join them". The only thing they are trying to do from the public authorities is to tolerate Bitcoin but trying to control it as much as possible with KYC/AML regulations and the collaboration of centralized exchanges.
