3461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal partners with Bitcoin ? You mean they're going to take it over on: September 28, 2014, 01:30:46 PM
They can't 'update' the Bitcoin protocol, it's open source and I have a copy of the very first version of the source code that was released, so if anybody tries anything they won't win, you need to do more research into how Bitcoin actually works, you sound like one of those numpties who think that you can buy up the Bitcoin market or it's a CIA/NSA plot.

Corporations and governments are not all powerful, in fact, they're morons.

The shooting came after another tense week in Ferguson, which has been roiled by unrest since Michael Brown, a black, unarmed 18-year-old, was fatally shot by white Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9.

Learn reading comprehension please.
3463  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Police officer JUST SHOT in Ferguson!! on: September 28, 2014, 12:45:48 PM
It was a burglary and obviously unrelated to the protests, in fact there were warnings I saw on news reports about all this where criminals would try taking advantage of the chaos, chavs went and did this during the London riots while the police were busy and wrecked a few businesses.

Don't react to FUD reports that are trying to spread panic.
3464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal partners with Bitcoin ? You mean they're going to take it over on: September 28, 2014, 10:31:50 AM
Considering the amount of utter hatred a lot of Bitcoin users have for Paypal I don't think the scenario will play out as you imagine and lets not forget that Bitcoin is open source and there are plenty of altcoins out there, I personally think software like Open Bazaar is going to be used more for trading in Bitcoin than Paypal/Ebay and those bastards at Paypal have been boasting and dragging their feet about Bitcoin adoption for months which makes me think they're going to do a shitty job implementing it.

Oh, did I also mention that they're trying to partner with GoCoin which has Brock Pierce in it's staff? Yeah, things are going to go really well for them, it's going to be fun to watch.

While the US does have an enormous amount of debt to these countries, you left out the fact that they also owe us a gigantic debt which doesn't get factored into the "we owe people money!!@!@!2121" equations. We've loaned trillions to China, Japan and other countries.

America hasn't loaned other countries 'money' they've loaned them government bonds and paper money which are worthless, China in particular has been quietly buying up lots and lots of precious metals for a long while now, while Americans have been arrogantly doing nothing, convinced in the superiority of their dollar.

3467  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign question on: September 27, 2014, 03:32:08 PM
You could also have a limited number of sign ups, this will let you manage the amount you spend on the campaign as well as the amount of posts.

They are very easy to spot and I regularly report any spammers I find, I can understand hating those wankers but demanding that the whole forum change just because of them is a bit ridiculous.

*facepalm*

Even I haven't had to ignore that many people, maybe you're just too easily offended or annoyed.
3472  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcointalk on: September 27, 2014, 12:58:59 PM
There is an extremely low level of censorship here and you can freely about almost anything, oh and the mods here aren't total dicks, though I do find my posts occasionally go missing for being off topic. Trolling and FUD is a very small price to pay for having this much freedom of speech.
Freedom is good , but that freedom ends when you attack other people, stalk and disrespect them, even if it happens on a forum.

That's what an ignore function is for and if they're getting past that then they can be banned because they're trying to hack the forum software itself as for people actually posting stuff that other people find insulting, no you either have absolute freedom of speech or none at all, for example if you think certain things are okay to post about and certain things aren't, then you're for censorship.
3473  Other / Off-topic / Re: Consumer question on: September 27, 2014, 11:38:11 AM
I like having both options, but if I had to choose I prefer paying a big chunk of money and having access to the services forever, so paying a chunk of money for a lifetime subscription or very long term subscription is great for me because I don't have to worry about my income so much.

Single, I wish I could get a girlfriend but there are these moments that happen which definitely make me more patient and remind me I'm very lucky to be single and should choose a girl very carefully.

no Beijing and  Shanghai

i think it will have the two places:Beijing and  Shanghai

There would be very strict laws regarding this kind of thing, Hong Kong would definitely be the better option.
