3461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 27, 2020, 07:07:21 AM
Welp not as many subscription buys as many predicted

Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury estimated at 800K to 850K PPV buys

Wilder-Fury 2 PPV totals below Arum’s 2 million buy projection

https://www.boxingnews24.com/2020/02/deontay-wilder-vs-tyson-fury-estimated-at-800k-to-850k-ppv-buys-sources/

The estimate of Arum was 2 million PPV buys, he overestimated it, lol.

per https://www.sportingnews.com/us/boxing/news/deontay-wilder-vs-tyson-fury-2-ppv-price-cost/yrcn6qcqctb91ea24k4mm25jv

The PPV price is  $79.99 so if we go to the maximum estimated of 850K, that's almost $68 million,.. that's still a lot of money.
Well, if there is a trilogy, I think the PPV buys would be lower than the recent one.
3462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: February 27, 2020, 06:37:54 AM
That is s literal meaning of hard earned money, and you should not gamble that amount as it will not pass on the principle of gambling which is to gambler what you can afford or just risk and extra money that will not affect you if you lose it.

I admire your dedication on your job, you'll surely achieve more in the future then maybe that is the time you can enjoy gambling, for now, just keep that discipline to stay away in gambling.
3463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 27, 2020, 06:21:10 AM
I bet Pelicans would advance.

They are very close, actually how about we make this betting for real?

Is there any site that offers and odds on which team on the picture about would get in the top 8 spot by the end of the regular season?
3464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: February 26, 2020, 10:36:44 PM
Many people do not understand that they really didn´t lose anything until they sell their position / coin in a loss. Thats why the best strategy if you already have position that you can sell in 80% loss is HODL. Just relax, if you loose 80% or 100% is pretty same, the mistake was made and only what you can do is pray that situation will get better. In most cases (in crypto) price recover.  Wink
Everyone is losing here particularly when bearish trend hits the market. And you will really lose more if you chose to sell your coins rather than holding it. In times like this, we should keep holding our coins patiently and just wait until the market recovers so we can sell our coins and make profits. Losing 80% of your capital is very frustrating but you need to be more patient and be firm in making decisions so you won't lose more.
3465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good or bad plan? on: February 26, 2020, 04:03:32 PM
The constant fall does not exist and the constant growth also does not exists. after the growth of bitcoin, its correction was very expected. Now after a fall of $ 1,000 it is obvious that there will be a positive correction that will slightly increase the price of bitcoin. if we talk about trading, now is a good time to buy bitcoin
If the price of bitcoin drops even more in the next days, i think there is a current event that had affected it negatively and when this happens, grab the chance of buying btc again while the price becomes low. It might be corona virus epidemic or the other way around. But since we are on its halfway for btc halving, btc and other potential coins will recover again which will make the market becomes green.
3466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For newbies only on: February 26, 2020, 03:27:41 PM
Absolutely agree with you, today there are many fake wallets and scams exist in the market. And newbies will be easily fooled by these applications. They need to know everything carefully before they want to invest in this market, otherwise one day they will lose all the money invested.
Newbies are prone to scamming so they should be more cautious at all times. If they want to download the mobile wallet, research first about that certain wallet to prove if its legit or not. Scammers have always their own ways to make fake mobile wallets look more legit particularly in the eyes of newbies. Applications in the playstore are not all legit so we should look for the safest link instead to download the mobile wallet that we want.
3467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So are we in bullish times or Not?? on: February 26, 2020, 02:51:48 PM
how can you call Bullish when the day of posting this thread is the market is suffering from falling?and until now we are dropping smaller each day.

but i am certain that some correction or either manipulating happening,i had been looking for the reason about this dump but i see nothing since yesterday so maybe the second reason is what happening?
We are not yet in a bullish trend and all we have right now are some correction. The positive market is due to the approaching btc halving which makes most of the top coins gain positive prices. But there is still no guarantee that this market won't suddenly crash as we knew from the start that this market is very much unpredictable and any price dump or pump is expected any time.
3468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins so fragile compared to Bitcoin? on: February 25, 2020, 11:59:03 PM
Let me start by saying that, many have invested in altcoins and were disappointed in the process. I particularly invested in series if altcoins backed in 2016 till 2017 and very few of these investment yielded profit to me but others went into the drains. Many have this same experience and never wanted to invest into altcoins but only on Bitcoin. Bitcoin is more secure than the altcoins which most are been controlled by very few individuals called developers. They have all the control over the said altcoins and can go off anytime without investors consideration.
If we invest in altcoins without any research, we will fall just like gambling. We may lose our money in just a second. Altcoins are more volatile and that any bad or good news, they can be easily affected. Although the whole market is affected when negative news hit it, but when it comes to bitcoin it recovers easily and this is why bitcoin is a safe investment compared to altcoins.
3469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects are now showing up on: February 25, 2020, 11:43:26 PM
Investors are now wiser at least majority of them are much aware of the crypto trend. So it's now very difficult to get who to scam. Only real projects are surviving at this time .
With the scammed projects we have been experiencing on the previous years, we should be very careful now in choosing potential projects to invest. The market is now recovering and this will be the perfect time for scammers to show up again. So never stop on searching for details and keep making research if we want to invest in projects that will not waste our time in the long run.
3470  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Malaysia crypto friendly on: February 25, 2020, 10:25:40 PM
I think Malaysia has a chance at accepting crypto. Like any other country in Southeast Asia. At the moment, I haven't seen any news about this. But I think that Malaysia could become a country where crypto will be used everywhere (but this will require the approval of the authorities)
I have not heard about Malaysia and it's government but i do think this would be a crypto friendly just like some other countries. I don't see any problem if crypto would be soon to introduce in Malaysia as long as the government authorities will not ban the use of crypto and would be very willing to open their minds about the latest innovation and how this crypto works not just as a good investment but also as a good currency.
3471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the most valuable altcoin? on: February 25, 2020, 09:37:17 PM
Why did some people write about Tron and Ether. I hope that only privacy coins like Monero and Zcash are for the future.
ETH, for example, has the biggest team that does not just work, but improves the project every day, as I think it is clearly the most valuable alt on the market.
Yes it is. I always have high hopes in ETH because it never dissappoints me even when the whole market crashes down. It's normal for the coins in the market to dump their prices but after that, ETH is still seen to recover in the market more than the others. But i suggest, it would be more reliable if we still make our own research so that we can trace what coins have been doing well in the market.
3472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: February 25, 2020, 09:15:21 PM
I think investors should take care about those things because the coins swap is regularly happening in crypto market because of changing their blockchain platforms or launching own blockchin. So if we are a investors then we have to check the details about the coins status and prices daily or weekly base otherwise we will lose our funds if anything happens like that. So we have to take care those things.
Losing our valued tokens that we have been working for a long time is very much possible if we fail to make updates from them. As an investor, we have to keep track the details every now and then of all the tokens that we are keeping in our wallets. It's good to hold potential tokens but we should not let them just sleep in our wallets for a long time without any updates from them because if we do, we might wake up in the morning seeing all of them turns into zero value.
3473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Check Liquidity Before you invest on: February 24, 2020, 11:58:03 PM
Absolutely an enlightening topic. Before investing money in a particular coin/token It's really necessary to understand about the liquidity of that coin, there are many cryto traders who don't pay attention on this point and yes mostly of them are newbies they just need be aware and I think this topic is good example to make them aware.
Newbies are mostly not fully equipped with the knowledge on investing coins so they should not focus on altcoins because it's very risky to invest. Bitcoin has always a high liquidity no matter what the season so they should start investing in bitcoin where there are sure buyers rather than risking their money in altcoins wherein their future is still unknown.
3474  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we heading towards Recession? on: February 24, 2020, 11:39:40 PM
Are we heading towards recession like 2008 wherein people have cut down their spendings and companies are laying off their employees, we can see cost-cutting everywhere, is it really a recession or just the panic about an uncertain future which is creating a gloomy atmosphere everywhere?
If we had any doubt about it, not chances are high for a recession considering all the trouble in China, gigantic developers like toyota stopped the production for missing parts caused by the COVID. Recession is coming.
I can say that recession is coming near because all that are happening now are obviously the signs of recession. This should not bring us negative thoughts when it comes to bitcoin because if we will still be able to manage our finances properly and grab the market by buying all those cheap but potential coins, then we will still make profits at the end of the day. Recession is nothing if we know how to handle it.
3475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has the price of Altcoin stopped in one place? on: February 23, 2020, 11:42:15 PM
Bitcoin is fluctuating since past weeks now so don't expect altcoins to maintain a high price any time soon until Bitcoin enters or breaks the 10k resistance level, I invested in two altcoins and am already in loss, I will wait till Bitcoin surge high again
I think that Bitcoin will now move in the range from 8 to 10 thousand for a very long time. therefore, do not stay in those altcoins that already brought you losses. look for other coins that are as volatile as bitcoin and continue making money

This price has been predicted last year and until now it wasn't gaining good, yet there's an attempt only but didn't come a very high value more than $10k. Altcoins is more worst than that, that's why it became so hard to see any further increase even if there's an increasing value of btc. However, there's always a good potential but we can't specifically see a nice trend for now.
Altcoins prices are not really as high as bitcoin but there are also some top altcoins that are really performing well. It really depends on the altcoin you invested. I think if bull run will happen this year, we can already expect majority of the coins including altcoins are going to take a surge. This is the time where altcoins prices do not stay on one place anymore.
3476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie looking for some strategic advice on: February 21, 2020, 09:48:43 PM
I believe that every newcomer should use all existing information in order to gain experience in cryptocurrency trading and obtain the necessary knowledge to get a good result from their activities.  Of course, this will take quite a long time, but in order to already be able to receive some income from trading cryptocurrency, many traders use trading signals and trading bots.  But there is a very big risk of being cheated.  Therefore, before using this or that Trading bot or signal, you need to make sure of its effectiveness and authenticity.
You won't know the result of your trading strategies unless you never try using it. You can start trading with a small capital either in short term or long term trading and once you see some good returns, start to level up the amount you want to trade. Trading is very risky to think but if you know what you are doing because you are already equipped with knowledge in trading, it will turn out profitable even if the market will suddenly crash.
3477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: By now, is it worth to invest in major altcoins for the long term? on: February 21, 2020, 09:09:30 PM
I don't think that the major alt-coins aren't really losing it's value.
I wonder where are you looking at OP because as of now all of the top alt-coins are still making some progress,
And they are still on the top they didn't lose value at all they didn't even lose their popularity.
This is true because top altcoins are still the top choices for investor and this is why many new altcoins can’t last longer because the top altcoins are still performing well. The best example here is the ETH, despite of the price drop, ETH was able to bounce back and go up again and the best thing here is that ETH remains the number 2 crypto currency. It is still worth it to buy and hold top altcoins, but it will still depend on your strategy.
Ethereum has very big potentials to progress more in the future so investing it for long term is a good suggestion. Top altcoins are starting to perform well in the market this year so their value are also seeing in surge. But as an investor, we should learn to create our own analysis where to invest and not just rely on what other people have to say.
3478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally, i find way into crypto trading on: February 21, 2020, 02:47:09 PM
Trading can be very profitable if done properly but personally I don't subscribe to binary option because it is a gamble. Cryptocurrency trading is totally different from that.
You are just starting to trade and luckily, you earned profits already. This is good but i think trading has a broader scope. You need to educate yourself and study other strategies that will suit you and not just depend on a single one. Trading has more risks in it so you need to secure your bitcoins in a hard or storage wallet and definitely not in an exchange. Anything can happen to your bitcoin even when you least expect it.
3479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 21, 2020, 12:01:46 PM
In gamble, the most needed skill that you need to have is a lot of luck.
Luck is not a skill or part of your skills,. you must have misunderstand the meaning of it.
Let's say I am a gambler and I want to win most of the time,.. can I dictate my luck to be with me every time I gamble when I am not in control of my luck? Of course that is not possible, the best way is to improve your skills and choose a skilled based type of gambling.
