3462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / It's Halving Day! What Can You Say? on: July 09, 2016, 12:29:33 PM
The moment we all have been waiting for (well, to most of us but not all!) has come. Does your excitement or expectations about halving are happening at the moment or nothing has changed?

How and what do you feel now that halving is already here? Are you happy or frustrated at this very moment?

3464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: July 07, 2016, 05:12:56 AM
I put most of my money into bitcoin how about you?

Just like in any investment, it is advisable to diversify your assets so that in case one of your investments fall, you still have backup to cover up the loss.. Bitcoin is definitely a good investment but you should not put all your eggs on it and invest also to other investment.

But what you have done so far - investing in bitcoin, is a great start to your financial freedom. You just have to diverse your asset. Good luck!
3465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: July 06, 2016, 09:22:07 PM
hello, I would like to try my luck from gambling.

what kind of gambling that you think is easy to make a profit? and what strategies are you using?

If your aim is profiting from gambling, I'd rather think twice. Yes, you can profit if you have a big bankroll because you can sustain losses and end up winning in the end. What i mean by this is that you should have big amount of capital and divide it into sessions so that you will not burn your capital in your first few bets. Make sure also to have your own system in betting. I will not call it as a strategy but a system. You need to have a system so that you can bet as your system dictates and thus less emotion and greed will prevail.

You must also need to only use money or btc that you are willing to burn. Good luck!
3466  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: July 06, 2016, 04:09:29 PM
100 BTC? 0.00000001 BTC? Nah... extremes are not for me.

What do you guys think?

Nobody knows for sure.. What you get from opinions are pure speculations because in these time, people are patronizing bitcoin (even me, I love collecting bitcoins now). However, we should not put all of our assets in 1 basket, we must diverse so that in the event bitcoin will fall, you still up because you have other investments.

Maybe you will be a millionaire with 10BTC by 2030 or BTC will have no value when that time comes, nobody really knows.
3467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: July 06, 2016, 04:00:57 PM
hello everyone.
i want to know what do you think about gambling bitcoin.. Does Beneficial or more losses?
Share your story here guys!  Grin Grin Grin

If you treat is a your means of living but no gameplan, strategy, limit of loss, then it is really bad. I am not really suggesting gambling if you aim to profit for food in the table because I only gamble for fun and use my extra bitcoin I am willing to loss.. After all, if you are having fun, it can't be bought by any monetary form. Now, if you no longer have fun while playing, better stop it or it will eat you to the bones.
3468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now Everyone is buying on: July 06, 2016, 03:56:14 PM
On yobit exchange I am seeing that there is a long list of buy and after 20 to 30 buy I am seeing one sell,

I think now everyone has been started to buy bitcoin , I think the same will be on all other exchanges also!!

I am really hard in buy high , sell low between doge and btc. I also notice a drop of doge against btc which probably tell that people are now really in a buying btc mode. However, I still hold on to my doge sell open order price of 0.00000044 BTC per doge. I don't haste in selling my doge to 0.00000042 BTC even the near of halving - I just stick to my game plan if ever I get lucky, the doge price will increase 0.00000044 BTC in few hours or days before the halving, I will definitely profit a lot Smiley
3469  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2.5 Years in Bitcoin and still holding. on: July 06, 2016, 03:42:28 PM
I'm holding some but I have also sold some. I'm not sure why it's going up so much. It could be a pump and dump or just panic buying. There's no way to know yet until we see a sell off.

I am really jealous of you outatime1 Smiley If only I could have saved my bitcoins more than I could, I would do that but it was really a good lesson for me. I am now growing it tightly and steady and hold until I can hold on. I now see the value of bitcoin as gold treasure - I feel so much love to bitcoin.
3470  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: July 06, 2016, 03:36:58 PM
Exactly what the title says.

If bitcoin dropped to the price of a dollar (which we hope it never will), what would you do? Buy more and hold, sell? Buy a promising altcoin like ETH?

I personally would buy more bitcoin.

I do the same OP, I would buy more bitcoin when the price dropped. I'll take it as a BIG sale every time I see a drop of bitcoin price. It will then be a best buy for me! Smiley the way we see it and how we mind set on every price drop really matters, because some people do panic every drop and sell their bitcoins - for me it is not a wise move.
3471  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 06, 2016, 03:33:01 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

To be honest, I would prefer gold because it stands the test of time. However, giving the fact that that I have a wealth to be converted to either gold or bitcoin - I would be wise and consider taking 1/4 of that total wealth investing to bitcoin and the rest is to gold. This way, I'm spreading my wealth into potential growth in 10 years from now.
3472  Other / Archival / Re: Where you get Bitcoin ? on: July 06, 2016, 09:11:26 AM
i get bitcoin from ethereum mining (holding eth until price rise again) , from signature campaign (if i have free times to online at bitcointalk, because i have realjob), altcoin trading Smiley

etherium mining is very interesting. I will do some research and maybe start mining etherium. Crimbit, does mining etherium today better than mining bitcoin? How much is your average daily etherium mined? Thanks for this idea.

Going to the question of the op, I usually get my bitcoin from playing doge in one of the online dice games that accept doge as bet and payout.. once I win some doge, I will exchange it to btc once the price of doge is high. I then get my btc Smiley I usually offer my btc for loan and when I see that the price of doge is very low, I will buy it with btc and do the same process again and again..
3473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: July 06, 2016, 06:02:18 AM
i found my self broke because gambling
i found my life in a mess because gambling

but because gambling too suddenly rich, suddenly be a billionaire
because gambling too you know what it is the real have fun

how about you?

is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life?

Very interesting question as I am now starting to love gambling as my way of entertainment - I don't usually go to parties, clubs and drink with friends now, I am graduate to that already Cheesy

I gamble not to earn a living or to earn big money - I just playing to having fun, period. Now, if I will win some, that is a bonus already. I always see to it thought that I only use my extra money that I can afford to lose. If you plan to make gambling as your way of living, better think again - this is a game of luck and don't put all your eggs in 1 basket according to luck because if you aren't lucky, you will definitely lose all of your eggs and you no longer have balls (joiking!  Grin )
3474  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: July 06, 2016, 05:42:27 AM
While we are all here on this forum to earn one way or another, how well do you manage that money after you've earned it. Do you trade your Bitcoin as fast as you can spending it all in a day or do you save it? I recently got paid for a job I did in programming and i keep finding myself wanting to spend more of that money i made. I have a lot of credit card debt and that is not good. I have destroyed only two ofg my credit cards to which I owe thousands of dollars on.

how do you spend your money?

I am good in managing my fiat money since it goes to necessary expenses and blue chips investment. But regarding to bitcoin, I now heavy on exchanges, buy low sell high. I buy and sell doge and btc. I also play from time to time in online dice games that bet and pays btc - once I won at least 400k satoshi, I exchange it automatically when the price of doge is low. Once the open order is successful and the price of doge is high, I will open a lend order of my btc so that while waiting for the target low price, my btc are earning from loan interest rate.

I hope I shared something valuable this time Smiley
3475  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: July 06, 2016, 05:36:23 AM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

Thanks,
BR Oinas
i wouldnt do any of your named methods in order to have a steady income with bitcoins because most of them will make you lose money and not make any profit at all with the investment

in my opinion the best idea to make a lot of profit at the moment would be to just buy a lot of bitcoins and hold it all for the upcoming price growths that will happen because of the halving event

I totally agree with lester.. If you want the safest way is to buy more bitcoins and sell it in the future.. For everyone else, majority seems agreeing that bitcoin price will rise during halving - these kind of events are good ways to earn from selling bitcoins when it goes to your desirable price high.
3476  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid in Bitcoin for simple data entry (solving captchas). on: July 06, 2016, 05:29:53 AM
I see that the original poster has community notification: "Warning: Trade with extreme caution! " So I'd rather think twice before doing anything about this offer. It is really hard if we have done our part and investing our time, money, and effort and then you will encounter some problems along the way.

Better to do things that are so credible and are not too good to be true. I am not saying that the original poster is not giving credible offer, it's just that, I am reminding everyone to exercise proper caution especially that the op has been tagged by the forum: "Warning: Trade with extreme caution!"

3477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: July 06, 2016, 05:20:22 AM
everyone's answer is that, I like bitcoin, as everyone like bitcoin. No one is there who do not like bitcoin, only those not like bitcoin who do not know what is bitcoin.
not all the people who know what bitcoin is likes it, i know a few of my friends who say that it is a total nonsence and that it has no future, though i always disagree with them

i think that there is just a small part of people who hate bitcoins because they either are angry as they love fiat or they just wanted to make a lot of money and missed the train

Maybe your friend had bad experiences in their bitcoin transactions or are lost in online gambling that uses bitcoin as their bets. Maybe they were also got scammed. They may even have bad experiences in investing whether it is bitcoin or fiat money which makes them kinda hesitant with bitcoin.. It is somewhat a personal judgement as to whether or not a person will love or hate bitcoin.

For me, when I started to get a hold of bitcoin, I started to love and nurture them to grow more Smiley
3478  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Much Do You Think The Bitcoin Would Be Comes Halving? on: July 06, 2016, 05:06:28 AM
Thank you for all the replies guys and for sharing your thoughts about the price of bitcoin during and after the halving.
I believe it would be 3 days from now before the halving.. Hope you guys are already prepared what to do when that time comes.
Again, thank you so much for all of the replies.. For those who want to add more and share their thoughts, you are all free to do so. Cheers! Wink
3479  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Much Do You Think The Bitcoin Would Be Comes Halving? on: July 05, 2016, 01:20:49 AM
Thank you very much guys, for all the reply. As I have said, there are no right or wrong answers. As I checked on the all of the replies, the majority responders are saying that the price of bitcoin will rise during and few weeks after the halving. Most want the ideal price average of $1000 per bitcoin but accept the fact that we cannot possibly and certainly predict the exact price of btc.

It will be an exciting and very interesting waiting game for all who have btc in possession. Good luck everyone! Smiley

P.S.: Keep the replies coming!... Smiley
3480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: July 04, 2016, 05:08:52 PM
Some people are stopped using the Bitcoin because they were not making any money with it so they just became mad. I do not understand these people because they knew were they were getting them selves in to and now they are mad.

stopped doesn't mean they were hatin' ,if it because of earning,i think doesn't even matter and couldn't turn people become bitcoin haters, just sometimes thing like ponzi or HYIP which offering their bullshit service and use bitcoin word make people think bitcoin is bad and hating bitcoin after that
well yeah, all these ponzies definitely contribute to bad views on bitcoin in my opinion and it is a really bad thing so we should stop them for sure if possible i think

people are hating bitcoin at least some of them do hate i think, the main reason for that is that it might be really hard to make any money with bitcoins and they dont like that

The only way to get rid of these ponzi and HYIP programs is to stop patronizing them. For us that have knowledge about these schemes, we should feel duty bound to inform the new ones in the industry to not invest to these related ponzi scheme and hyip offers.

At least today, people tend to trust already online transactions that involve money in the advent of amazon, ebay, and some other leading online e-commerce sites. This is same true with bitcoins, as long as there are news and people like us introducing bitcoins to the world, it will gain traction start to be love and accepted by the public.
