Did a little work on the website today folks, so let me know what you think. (About page still needs more content)

Not too shabby. I'm going to make a small donation to you. Not much, because I am in a lot of debt, but a small token of appreciation for making such a cool coin.

i'll donate too  Smiley

the name cryptographic anomaly stands out on coinmarketcap  Cheesy

This coin is simply amazing!

Is it proof against Profitswitching Pools?

Haven't tested that yet but would imagine so... Or it may be the opposite.

If a Multipool were to jump into CGA it would raise the difficulty, which would make CGA's more elusive, which would make worth more, but does that make it more profitable? Maybe not when the difficulty is still high but once the multipool leaves CGA for awhile CGA will become more profitable as the difficulty lowers and the price would(should) stay the same until the difficulty rises again.

this is really promising..compared to other coins..

quark is instamine and spread through buying and buying and more buying

all other coins more hash, more coins (inflation), more money (for miners), and shrinking investment for buyers until almost all the coins are mined and adopted (may take a long time).

if CGA a proves to be the most fair to mine and buy coin this will go to top 10 easily. CGA's very slow inflation is timed just right since adoption of crypto currency is not instant, it may take months and years ..therefore early adaptors cannot hoard huge amount of coins, late comers can still mine and buy fairly.
3485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CGA] Cryptographic Anomaly - The Elusive Coin - ON ITS FIRST EXCHANGE on: February 20, 2014, 08:39:40 AM
what's happening to the price? It's going down pretty fast!

Supply is currently higher than demand. My opinion: some sellers were overexcited by the initial trades on the new exchange, and ended up selling on prices lower than intended. And with bids going down and spread shrinking, the bids on poloniex have been adjusted too.
Maybe a CGA thread in Chinese could help with getting more demand on allcoin.com.

How can we increase the demand?  Huh

Payment processing.

No, I don't know how to do it or promote it, but it's the bottleneck for all crypto right now, including Bitcoin. If you can make transactions happen, rather than settle, at the speed of Visa, then whatever crypto gets there first wins. And since the network is 24/7, actual settlement will occur way faster and way cheaper than the above mentioned visa card.

that's a good point..visa or banking stuff payment processing have their dedicated hardware for their money system..maybe in the future when majority of mankind embraces cryptos there will be hardware's integrated to our networks just for cryptos like [CPN (crypto payment nodes)-not real  Cheesy ] not just routers, switches and servers...this stuff is like going back to scratch i think..
3486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CGA] Cryptographic Anomaly - The Elusive Coin - NOW ON ALLCOIN.COM!!! on: February 20, 2014, 07:41:08 AM
selling is a case to case basis..if i have no other source of money to pay the bills i'll sell some now even at low prices, the difficulty is low (net hash is low) so more coins for the average miner..but always keep some that would make you happy when the price spikes..

and always keep some, especially when you like this coin..for me seeing my wallet empty is not a good feeling..this may hit top 10 or 20 or 30, we don't know what's coming but i'm sure this coin has big potential.
3487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CGA] Cryptographic Anomaly - The Elusive Coin - NOW ON ALLCOIN.COM!!! on: February 20, 2014, 06:57:06 AM
CGA is an investor's dream, the coin supply cannot be pumped by gigantic hash rates (inflation is very minimal) and rewarding to loyal miners in times of low net hashes.

This is why i like CGA.

I'd like to point out 1 fact regarding CGA price. I'm very certain once CGA hits coinmarketcap, the price will skyrocket on poloniex then average out after a few days.
This is advice i give to my clients, but i felt many of you should know this.

How do i know this? Read the great overview of Arielbit, as i quoted. When PMC and Darkcoin hit coinmarketcap from poloniex, they spiked 100-500%.

Watch out and be ready, CGA will not go unnoticed.

..and although unpredictable/anomalous supply, the coin supply is a bit more or a bit less constant.

CGA is an investor's dream, the coin supply cannot be pumped by gigantic hash rates (inflation is very minimal)..quite the opposite of TIPS,MOON and DOGE...and rewarding to loyal miners in times of low net hashes.

a privacy feature maybe a great addition in the future..like Encrypted transaction network (Work In Progress) in darkcoin or coin mixing in fedoracoin

investors in CGA doesn't have to worry for dumpers since the supply is squeezed by math unlike what's happening in vertcoin lots of  Cry

What's wrong with Vert?

Lots of people who bought in when it was at an insane peak and are now thinking the world is ending because it's back down to only 6x its value before the rise.

yup..a guy in vtc thread even thinks there's a secret vtc miner software that is superior.

the coin isnt really trading on poloniex,  sell orders around 900 cga and buy orders around half btc. lol

I know a few people who are holding on to them, waiting for the popularity to increase. People are dumping. I have been scrounging my BTC so I can buy more.

.94 btc now.. i'm a miner and a buyer  Cheesy  besides you should look at trading volume (24-hour Volume: 5.27216199 BTC / 600.82827923 CGA)

Have you guys also experienced that solo mining is more effective than mining in pools? Or have I just been lucky.. :p also, great website upgrade! it's nice that people can read what the coin is about now
MHs? CGA per day?

if this is true, mining will also become more decentralized  Cheesy

I probably had a lucky day lol:p Two days ago I've gotten 5 coins in one day with only 175 kh/s, since the difficulty increased dramatically I didn't get any today though:( Maybe you have a higher chance to create anomalies with a lower hash rate?

two days ago cga is not yet in exchanges (lower net hash rate)..it was only yesterday when poloniex added cga then net hash rate increased today..making the coin rarer..i'm mining in p2p..i felt the elusiveness of this coin today too..

feeling sorry for the people who lost the value of their vtc's..i myself is a vtc holder and i'm not very affected by crash since i bought at 0.0005

i would like to share a coin for the Cry guys, it is not yet in coinmarketcap and it is only traded in poloniex..

the coin supply cannot be rushed. In this coin, mathematics kicks N-factor feature in the ass including asics and multipools.

it is CGA, cryptographic anomaly..my new champ!   Cheesy
3495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CGA] Cryptographic Anomaly - The Elusive Coin - ON IT'S FIRST EXCHANGE! on: February 16, 2014, 03:32:12 PM
i think CGA is better than n-factor coins because mathematics protects this coin from asics and multipools..math > feature(n-factor).

So in the absence of an exchange what value per CGA would make mining worthwhile?

Would somewhere from BTC 0.0001 to 0.001 be enough?
I think 0.003 minimum.

Bit high, no?

1 MH/s will earn roughly 0.01 BTC per 24 hours (using poolwaffle stats).

My 450kh/s mined just over 8 CGA yesterday, but probably 6 today.

So assume 1MH/s will earn 12 CGA per 24 hours then 0.01/12 = 0.00083 BTC per CGA or better should be profitable?

our hash rates are in times where there is still no market (BTC) for CGA (low hash rates), when that time comes, more miners will mine CGA and the coin wil become more elusive at higher hash rates..making the coin more expensive..

Understood, I'm trying to work out what it would take to get people like wzttide mining *now* without an exchange based market.

Once we're on an exchange then the market itself can decide.

E.g. If i said I would buy any newly mined CGA for 0.0009 BTC would that encourage people to mine?

Mind you if a Poloniex listing is imminent then maybe I can stop worrying.

for me i'll sell a few coins, keeping majority because mining will be much much harder when hash rate increases..if i sell too low, my losses will be minimal..
