Bone carvings from Greenland was big here and I'm selling partially digested coffee from civet cats online right now.

Yeah, the Greenland Tupilaks were badass.
3482  Economy / Speculation / Re: With pirate gone... BTC gonna crash? on: October 01, 2012, 01:17:39 AM
Wait, Pirate is gone?

When did this happen?  Roll Eyes

I thought that foo had disappeared?

Nope, he paid everyone back, and is opening up again.
3483  Economy / Goods / Re: Oddest item sold for BTC on: October 01, 2012, 12:56:57 AM
I was selling a vintage 1960s Brass silverware set from Thailand a while back, that was pretty cool. It never sold, cool as hell, but its like 30 lbs, and shipping would be a killer.

edit* found it

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=52985

and I had mushroomized list it for me, because I didn't have much reputation at the time, and because she was my lover.
3484  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcoins to Amazon Giftcards 20% OFF limited time PROMO on: September 30, 2012, 04:58:47 PM
How much in Amazon GC do you have?

edit* Never mind, found some rather troubling stuff around.

I'm finished with this forum. Never before have I encountered such arrogant rude people in my life. I will find another bitcoin oriented community. This forum is not for me, the majority of you are all troll faggets, and quite frankly i'm done. Eat my dick, suck my dick right or left sack or the flap in the back.

3485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who would you like on a Bitcoin Council that represented the BTC community? on: September 30, 2012, 03:58:45 PM
I nominate Atlas! We need someone who doesn't play by the rules, and is always on the edge to help make those tough decisions.
3486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can prostitution benefit from bitcoin? on: September 30, 2012, 01:41:41 AM
I take BTC for prostitution services.

That's not saying much. You'd take donuts for prostitution services.

Depends if I'm hungry or not I guess.
3487  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin Conference 2012- London 15-16 Sept | ANNOUNCEMENT sponsorship available! on: September 30, 2012, 12:51:40 AM

I take BTC for prostitution services.
3490  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for beta testers - Bitcoin penny auction site on: September 29, 2012, 12:18:42 AM
Sorry, I'm a bit late giving feedback. Anyway, I was playing around in the bidding action, and actually ended up winning one of the .5 BTC auctions. So far the UI looks good, and it seems to all work right.
3491  Economy / Marketplace / Re: List of honest traders. on: September 28, 2012, 12:00:19 AM
+1 for Cosmos

We did a sort of of one third one third one third deal, as we were shipping Item for Item + BTC. he shipped half first, I then shipped on my end, and then he finished the payment after receiving my goods. Everything worked out well, great communication, great trader.
3492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best bang for the buck GPU for mining LTC? on: September 27, 2012, 08:57:12 PM
Title says it all.  I got a few more free slots on my mobo.  Post your opinions!

6950

I second this. 6950s are probably your best bet. Flash them to 6970s, get 500 Khash for $150 or less. That and, if/when ASICs come out, the GPU will still have resale value as its still viable for gayming.
3493  Economy / Securities / Re: TYGRR.* assets on GLBSE delisted. on: September 27, 2012, 08:47:33 PM
Just saying, as the business owner, Nefario is 100% in the wrong on this one. It doesn't matter how whiny goat is, if you take his money, and the trade fees his shares have been generating, he is your customer. Nefario, Goat may have been a pain in your ass or whatever, but you really don't have any right to delist his assets assuming they didn't violate your TOS, which I'm assuming they did not, seeing as they have been up for a while now. And to make matters worse, you didn't really stick it to goat, you stuck it to his investors, who could end up losing their asses for your careless mistake. You didn't make a point to goat, you made a point to the community, and I know sure as hell I won't be using GLBSE anymore, because who knows? Someone that I may invest in may rub you the wrong way, and I might lose everything. At the very least, you should have treated this like someone who had a contract with someone else and you are attempting to breach the contract, sort of like a homeowner and someone renting their home. You can evict goat, assuming you return all $ that you owe him, give him a reasonable deadline, and make all necessary arrangements to prevent what is happening now, and if he is not at fault at all under your TOS, you will still have fees to pay. If this became a real legal dispute, which I don't really think it would, I can almost guarantee goat would win.

And to clear everything up, I am was invested in GLBSE, and had no assets in any of Goat's listings. I am acquainted with neither Goat nor Nefario, and I don't believe I hold any bias here besides the fact that I don't like the new potential of getting screwed over by GLBSE.
3494  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domains for sale.... serious bids only on: September 27, 2012, 12:26:44 AM
Hmm, well it looks like someone is looking at selling American sweets. Anyway, I offer 1 LTC for all of them. Or .08 LTC each
3495  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: ModMiner Quad FPGA Mining Device up to 1Gh/s $1069.99 (IN STOCK) on: September 26, 2012, 09:42:17 PM
Very neat. If ASIC doesn't ship out for what ever reason, I have a feeling you will need to have quite a few of these on hand.
3496  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dear FBI, CIA, NSA, and SEC authorities on bitcointalk.org... on: September 26, 2012, 05:37:17 PM
I was just wondering if you guys could register here at bitcoin and introduce yourselves and tell us why you are here.  No need to lurk.  We have a strong feeling you are reading these forums.

Moderators, please leave this thread up for a day or two.  I just want to see if this thread gets any bites.

Hello, you are correct. We are reading these forums, and many of us have already been registered for quite some time. Many of us are here just to play around with some BTC personally, and a few to monitor the situation. Just kidding, the U.S gov anyway has very little interest in Bitcoins or your play money scams. The people who are saying OH NO! The $10,000 drug market is going to ruin BTC! Eh, no. Why chase people back and forth and waste the energy and resources, when we could just sit at the U.S boarders, and snag over $60 Million in drugs per day? I will say, a lot of Gov employees use Bitcoins, not to launder or anything, just because a large majority of them are techy, and bitcoins are interesting and useful for techy stuff.

Not entirely kidding,

SaltySpitoon

This is the coolest thread that has ever existed. Don't ever let this die. My luck has been looking way up since this curse started. Can I pay to be cursed again?
3498  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for beta testers - Bitcoin penny auction site on: September 25, 2012, 04:56:55 PM
I too signed up, under the same Username as here.
3499  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The Koolio on: September 24, 2012, 06:58:21 PM
I have to say, I have very little reason to believe Koolio is anything but honest. He has owed me a few coins from time to time, mostly for sexy services, but he has always paid up when due. Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure I owe him 50 LTC.
3500  Economy / Services / Re: Curse/Blessing on: September 24, 2012, 05:42:26 PM
Today, the sports team that I was rooting for lost by a point with 2 seconds left, I burned myself on the stove, and I hit a curb, fell, and tore my hands all to hell. Too bad that was all hours before your curse started. Ironically, since it has started, things have been looking up. Made a ton of $, got some packages I wasn't expecting, and got the female sympathy for the burns/cuts that turned out very well  Grin

Keep up the good curse!

RESULT!

The rest of you who now believe in the power of MY curses can send all your BTC to this address: 1dice8XUYecUm7N6DjxGEuDLTgxHgvHom

Unlike that other guy, I understand the balance of cursing.

I also offer palm readings, chakra stimulation, and chiropractic services.

Are you coming on to me?
