3481  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market is full of opportunities to come on: July 05, 2021, 10:44:58 PM
Put some symbol with those numbers like dollar sign.

Although some people in the market think there is a possibility of a rebound, but many absentees still don't think there will be a quick recovery.
It is what mostly are expecting that there will be a rebound that's coming soon. And we do think that it's very normal for bitcoin to have that recovery as soon as possible after it came from a plummet since it has went on its all time high.
3482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: July 04, 2021, 10:44:32 PM
Why do they allow gambling to such extent when they already know how expensive it can be to the society? Why to allow casinos at the first place? It is because governments collect hefty taxes from this industry in order to let it run, the same goes to drugs and alcohol. If we expect the change, we need to be the change and start taking the first step so to let addicted gamblers come back under the category of normal gamblers who know and understand their limits.
True, taxes.

The government can impose not just 2x or 3x or 4x in taxes that they get from the usual business or company but they can impose as much as they can.

And the casinos won't have that much anything to say as long as they're continuous in operation, they'll only be following the orders of the government where they're found.

I'm not that guy.

But if he's going to offer a fee, put it how much you're going to pay for someone to easily know if it's worth to check with the amount he's going to pay.

And the section of Project Development could also be the right section for this.
3484  Economy / Speculation / Re: 22 july, BTC 20k$ or 70k$? on: July 04, 2021, 08:36:52 PM
As I am Perosnally Thinking that we can't Ignore this meeting,
It's better to ignore it and let things happen accordingly and do not think of it that much. IMHO, the price of $20k isn't going to be seen again as we've hit the bottom for this year.

And what's going to happen, upon the rise of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin adoption is growing despite the issues Elon has brought. The growth is unstoppable and adoption is inevitable. The positive price and rise will be shown by the end of the year and if not, early few weeks of next year.
3485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: July 04, 2021, 12:48:00 PM
For those people who bought btc at lower price i believe they already sold atleast 30-50% from their portofolio.
That's a huge part of portfolio but I didn't sold more than 10% from my portfolio. And I'm already good with that profit that I've made. I know that it's going to be down somehow after it has reached a certain peak.

But I'm moving forward to see the next peak and then sell near to the same quantity that I've sold.

If you are more comfortable with what you have and willing to wait for another bounce,

The market will rise back the cycle will continue, if you are willing to wait and you have that confidence then the benefits will
more likely good for your investment, it's all about how you work and how understand what inside the market, no need to
panic when downfall is ongoing it saves you a lot notbeing triggered by fuds.
Yes.

Many of us have that belief that the market will bounce back and it's going to be more than what it was on the all time high. There's no need to panic during market corrections as it's very normal and I've endured a lot of it already so there is no question if one comes again.

And with the market situation, it's likely that we're going see it bitcoin bounce again to $40k although the last time it was quick. Next time, it's going to stay there just as it's staying on the $33k-$35k.

3487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your top picks to buy the dip? on: July 03, 2021, 10:36:46 PM
My pick is Ethereum. When the market is in dip I would like to buy ethereum. Because my money is less so I want to buy Ethereum rather than Bitcoin. I have already bought ETH twice and made some profit.
Congratulations to you if you've made profit with Ethereum already.

But I hope that won't stop you from buying bitcoin because it's still advisable to own bitcoin while owning Ethereum. The price of bitcoin right now dropped and even you think that it's expensive.

You can buy it in small amounts just as how you bought Ethereum.
Even if we have already coins that are making profits, bitcoin should always be included in our portfolio. It might be expensive compared to other coins but it can give us the best profits more than we can imagine. Ethereum paired with bitcoin is definitely our top picks. These two coins should always be present in our investments as much as possible if we wish to experience the huge profits we investors are all dreaming of. Maybe its just a little risk to take.
It's expensive if they'll always think of it as expensive. When bitcoin was still on $10k, they still thought of it as expensive.

That's what they have to think of. Bitcoin is the best to own including your picks during the dip. Ethereum is also a good choice but if someone thinks that it's already good enough to own an Ethereum only portfolio.

It is what it is based on what they think.
3488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Viewing advertisements and getting paid with Ethereum on: July 03, 2021, 09:52:58 PM
The owner of that Telegram channel is the one who surely earn from his members and with those clicks and traffic that it generates. It's like a sharing profit opportunity.

But the profit that members will get through click those ads, they're peanuts compare to what the owner gets. Just as said, they're like paid to click and faucets.

Scam, stay away.
Thanks! this had saved my time to read more of OP.

I also doubt it that they'll be back to take these words that has been said to them.

I remember those scam MLM coins way back before where they used the word the price will increase day by day which we know its impossible especially if this one will be listed on open market.
That term, it's also used mostly by the ponzis and other cloud mining investment schemes that are easily attracting newbies.
3491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celsius CEO says BTC price will go to $160,000 this year, what will happen then? on: July 02, 2021, 11:02:02 PM
There are many kinds of predictions everywhere. But they don't mean anything. I'd like to see Bitcoin reaching a level like that in this year of course. But it doesn't seem very logical to me. I have even doubts about if Bitcoin can reach $100k before the end of the year.
They don't mean anything yet because it hasn't been reached and when those predictions before 2020 came, there were some predictions that I've read that the next bull run will break the past ATH which was $20k and it finally did.

It's hard to believe that those prices might happen for this year but nothing will lose if you're going to have that belief on it. But if you don't think that it won't happen it's fine and if I think it will, that's also fine. We have nothing to lose.
3492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Btc or Usdt? Which is better to gamble with? on: July 02, 2021, 10:25:17 PM
The rumor that USDT is a scam arose at a time when its market cap started to grow very rapidly. It later became known that USDT successfully passed several audits. Fudders, however, did not stop attacking him and continues to say that audits and USDT are scams.
In my opinion, you should be careful when investing in any cryptocurrency and remember that if someone has a private key to your cryptocurrency, it is not safe.
Personally, I use USDT very often but try to keep small amounts in it.
It's not about investing on any cryptocurrency but it's about OP asking for what seem to be a better cryptocurrency to be used as he gamble.

It's also not about any rumor or audits that has been made for USDT but it's just about the technique for what is a better crypto to be used if you got both.
3493  Economy / Services / Re: New Crypto Seeking Enthusiasts on: June 30, 2021, 10:03:31 PM
Aside from the services, it's a good idea to put the whole content or at least some glimpse of your project on the Project Development.

There are actual experts there that might help you with to work on with your project.
3494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After China, Now it's Mexico's Turn to Ban Crypto on: June 30, 2021, 09:04:02 PM
Not just the future effect but most of these banning news are giving the effect immediately to the market. As they ban crypto, they don't know that there are still a lot of their people that are into crypto and they cannot stop it.

Just as the news about China's ban, there's no one that can stop crypto revolution. It's okay if they'll ban it but they'll never track those people who uses crypto unless they have that massive ban for those websites that are crypto related because their citizens can still use crypto online.
3495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin a good investment in this pendamic situation? on: June 29, 2021, 10:43:27 PM
Having the supply limit is a very important detail that the investors especially the new ones has to understand. Because it gives the demand higher as time goes by and with halving it also gives that vital speculation that it's price will increase more in the future.

invest in bitcoin, not only during the pandemic
A good reminder. Do not invest only during this pandemic but even if the pandemic ends, just make it a habit to keep on investing in bitcoin.
3496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: June 29, 2021, 09:50:27 PM
But that is not the only function of money, money has another function and that is to be a store of value, look at gold, thousands of years ago you could by a lot of products with it and now you can do the same, this is a great store of value
Bitcoin is a good store of value and that's the reason why many people are investing with it and exchanging their fiat for it. But it's not also going to be the only reason why people are using and buying bitcoin. Bitcoin has been made to become as it is, to be a medium of exchange so if there are people spending their bitcoin with anything they want, it's okay because everyone adds up to the ecosystem of bitcoin which makes it greater today and adding more value due to its demand.

bitcoin needs to perform this function as well and despite its volatility it seems it is on its way to achieve this, so while it is completely fine to spend bitcoin as that is one of its functions holding your bitcoin does not go against this as it is just another of the functions that money needs to serve.
I agree.

Spending or holding it, it doesn't matter as long as you know how you're going to use it.
3497  Economy / Exchanges / Re: binance exiting Ontario. on: June 29, 2021, 09:09:42 PM
It's not the first time Binance prefers to avoid instead of complying. Is it good or bad, rather debatable topic. Their privacy rules are still appealing, I'll give them that.
Only a huge market like United States seemed to be worthy until now for the hassle of complying.

Of course, media may write with big letters that Bitcoin is banished, but keep in mind that's only one company we talk here and that company makes its business decisions as they think.
True.

The media are romanticizing the situation that has been with Binance over the UK and Ontario failure or chose not to comply with the said requirements.

Instead of highlighting that it's the fault of Binance, as usual with the clickbait titles, they're making it attractive to read the entire article but it's there with the details that one must read before concluding that it's not all about bitcoin but Binance.
3498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why on earth do you own bitcoin? on: June 29, 2021, 08:08:21 PM
There's no need to ask myself why I'm holding on. I believe on what I'm holding that there's a future that will be greater than what we've witnessed recently.

It's like the same as asking yourself, why do you need to invest?
Me too, I think that believing in the potential of bitcoin is the only reason why I still own bitcoin, for me the 10 years that bitcoin has been in this world is enough proof that it will stay here and that it's prices will only have one way but to go up.
Even though it may not be much for some to still see the potential that it has. But we've seen the proof in our lives how bitcoin made our lives better and changed a lot of things in our living aspect.

No need to have that much reasons why we're investing in bitcoin. As long as we've got enough few reasons why we're leaning and believing on it, people will see and regret that they've been late knowing and investing on it.

There's also the news about UK's action towards them.

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, gets banned by UK regulator

They have to meet the anti-laundering requirements set by UK but they withdrew their application so that's the action made by the British government.
