3503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Pros and Cons of Bitcoin Gambling on: June 14, 2022, 10:35:46 AM
gambling is design to take our money and not for us to take theirs .

That is how the business itself works. Gambling was made solely for entertainment, It's just us that take it to another level because there is a possibility to earn from it and if lucky, can change our whole life. Gambling is a game of luck so there is no guarantee that you will earn from it as often as you want. Gamblers should put aside the money when they are gambling, they should just do it for fun and avoid chasing losses. Addiction related cases will be much lesser if gamblers' mindset will be like that.
3504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't sell your precious BTC to the whales! on: June 13, 2022, 12:49:03 PM
But don't you guys wonder who are selling at this point that causes the price to go down. Few days ago, I thought that $28k was a strong support but here we are now almost reaching $20k. Are these sellers just knew bitcoin when it started to surpass the $20k ATH and they didn't experience the huge crash way back 2018. Selling at this point will be a huge regret to many people once the whales accumulated enough and market starts to go up again.
3505  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — New game 🌴 Paradise Trippies Bingo on: June 13, 2022, 04:26:36 AM
All these promotions and tournaments at Bitcasino keep the weekend full of fun and joy. I always enjoy playing at the casino with often come up with new games and promotions as this keeps the interest of the gambler to the next level.
I wish other casinos also follow the same practice and make us feel amuse and joy.
Every casino has different promotions and tournaments but in the end it becomes fun and excitement that we participate in the game, because other casinos have different schedules.
But I noticed that bitcasino is always routine on the weekends, meaning they pay attention to us on the weekends to have fun in the contests they hold, of course on weekends there are a lot of breaks but in between that we enjoy playing in bitcasino tournaments, not just contests and regular tournaments Bitcasino on the weekends there are always new games being launched.

They know how to maintain their player base well by having continuous weekly promotions. If you are a competitive person, it will make you more excited to play because you can set a goal to qualify to these promotions. They have game of the week that can give you some free spins if you're active on their platform. Being a high roller also provides some benefit like cashback via loyalty system. Their games have attractive animations so players won't get bored easily.
3506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT Tokens a Good Long Term Investments? on: June 11, 2022, 11:30:18 AM
Is it better to trade NFT tokens rather than holding it for longterm?

There are other good altcoins there that are really worth holding for long term rather than those NFT tokens. Those tokens' price are only driven by hype since NFTs are the trend this year. Once those tokens loses their hype or the developers behind it abandoned their project, the token will slowly lose its value. Sell those token now while they still have a value and buy some crypto that is on the top 10 of coinmarketcap, hold it for a couple of months then you'll get some good amount of profit.
3507  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we embrace a cashless policy?? on: June 11, 2022, 10:34:45 AM
If the world must go cashless, Bitcoin should be the better option

Even if cashless policy or society is feasible, other countries have no capability to impose it. We all know that there are some countries that technology is not that advanced yet compare to countries like Korea or Japan who already practices digital payments in their daily life. A cashless society will also be a disadvantage to the government as themselves won't be able to do their corrupted intentions because everything will be recorded on a blockchain.
3508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC goes below 30k after US inflation rate reports on: June 11, 2022, 09:25:01 AM
Thoughts?

The inflation rate report doesn't have anything to do with bitcoins' price because we are still in the same range from its price few weeks ago. I strongly believe that we already hit the bottom and is now in an accumulation stage. Many are prepared to buy in $20-25k range so even if we go that deep, I don't think it will last for a long time. If there is really a threat on the bitcoin market, some whales or institution could have sold their holdings that will really impact the market.
3509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading journals worth it? on: June 11, 2022, 07:45:36 AM
What are your thoughts on having a trading journal to better your trading experience?

Trading journal could be useful especially if you plan to make trading a living. If you have trading journal it can increase the success probability of your trades, you can assess where or what you did wrong during your trades. You can try many strategies then analyze what works best for you. Having trading journal will help you remind to not repeat the same mistake again. But as you become successful in trading, try not to depend on it to see if you are really getting good at it.
3510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to proper trade in you asset in this market situation? on: June 11, 2022, 06:21:32 AM
Trading in this market situation is very risky. Covid pandemic is also still present adding to the negative sentiment of the market so I will just prefer holding my coins now as much as I can rather than trying to trade it to earn some profit. If I have some extra money, I wouldn't hesitate buying some altcoins now as they are really on sale. Once the market goes up again, some of those coins can easily pump 20% and that will give me huge profit.
3511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: June 11, 2022, 04:39:03 AM
Both is a good investment for me. If they say bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies then for me ETH should be considered as the queen. No good project would exist now like solana or polygon if ethereum wasn't created in the first place. While BNB already proved their project is worth investing by being one of the trusted decentralized exchange. Those two should always be on the list if you are going to invest in crypto for long term.
3512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin do you "trust" the most? on: June 11, 2022, 02:52:22 AM
Which stablecoin do you feel so comfortable using, without having any worry of depegging?

Most of my stablecoin is on BUSD. USDC is also good option but I prefer BUSD since I always trade on their exchange, and also they have many trading pairs for their own stablecoin so I don't have to worry converting it from one stablecoin to another. Binance is currently the most reputable exchange and they have a lot of funds to support their stablecoin. Depegging BUSD won't happen that easily as it is backed by a real entity unlike what happen in UST and LUNA.
3513  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Self before asset on: June 10, 2022, 11:59:48 PM
First of all when someone invest on something without prior knowledge then they are simply taking the chances which also called as gambling. Returns are secondary because it is not assure or the assured returns are far less than the potential for real investors so the risk factor is always there but when we know the asset and how the future is going to be then we may not worry that much when it bumps or dumps.

Investing in knowledge is not easy as it takes a long time to master it, people often ignore to learn first because there are others that claims they are pro when it comes to crypto trading/investment. They just charge you with a small fee then they promise a trading signal for few months. Investing in knowledge is not anyone can do, it also requires a discipline that will help you to control your emotion on different market situations. Like myself even if I learn, my emotion will just ruin my trading plan so I'd rather just hodl my crypto investments.
3514  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounties and Airdrops on: June 10, 2022, 11:25:30 PM
Bounties now are mostly scam, even if they really pay you it's not worth it compare to the time that you will do promoting those bounties.

As for airdrops, it's like betting on a lottery. There are airdrops that is worthless today then suddenly next month or year its token value suddenly pumps.

Doing those two are not profitable now unlike before, you just need to be active on their community then you'll reap great rewards.
3515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you educate petty traders in adopting Bitcoin? on: June 10, 2022, 06:31:35 AM
A lot of people just want to "hoard" bitcoins, but they forget that it should have utility for it to be a currency. Hoard 80% of the coins you buy, but try to spend 20% at small merchants like this.  Roll Eyes

It's potential value in the future is what stopping many people to spend their bitcoin. Even me is also guilty of hoarding bitcoin rather than spend it. I only use it sometimes as form of payment to showoff to people. But on a daily basis, as long as I have other option I would not use my bitcoin to buy something. I would have 1 whole bitcoin by now if I was just frugal when I started to know about it way back 2016. Even if small merchants adopts bitcoin on their business, they would still need to convert it into fiat as bitcoin is not widely accepted yet so they won't bother to learn it in the first place.
3516  Economy / Economics / Re: Food crisis coming? What's wrong about it? It could be good on: June 09, 2022, 11:09:10 AM
Africa was one of the poorest country in the whole world as far as I know, probably the main thing problems with this is their country
economy strategy was very poor, that is why it need to revitalize it instead. So, the food crisis to their own country will be resolve
little by little if their leader is intelligent to think a good solutions for this.

This your comment sound Bias and I guess os because you didn't follow up the discussion and what others have discussed so far. Food crisis doesn't mean it is the only minor nations who are not up to standard are the only people that will suffer from the food shortage, it is going to be all over the world and even the US will not be left out, you remember how corona affected everyone, thats just the way food crisis are also, the only difference is that we see it coming and discussing it with possible solutions will ease it.
Another facts you should know is that because a country is poor is not limited to Africa, we have other countries on other planet who are also poor just that they will make you think it happened only in Africa.

It doesn't also mean that if you live in a 1st world country, you're exempted in the food crisis. Not everyone on those countries are financially stable, there will always be someone that struggle to put food on their table on a daily basis. Food crisis will always be not good whatever country you live in. Everyone should be able to buy it not only the rich people during the food crisis. Many here are just lucky they didn't experience yet how to starve or earn money just to buy food.
3517  Economy / Economics / Re: Crashes are The Best Times to Get Rich - Robert Kiyosaki on: June 09, 2022, 09:03:26 AM
So what do you think about Kiyosaki's point of view, is it possible that "crashes are the best time to get rich"?

He is precisely correct because these crashes are the one that will give you huge percentage of profit once the market goes up again rather than buying only when it starts to go up or everyone is bullish again. If you want to maximize the profit that you'll earn, don't be afraid to buy during these crashes. But keep in mind that don't go all-in during those time as no one knows if it will dip more. Always have a fund incase it goes deeper even more.
3518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minor Protection From Gambling on: June 09, 2022, 08:09:16 AM
So the minors are smart enough to fake their online identity? Really? This seems suspicious to me.
So they use their parent's debit/credit cards to gamble? Can't their parents view the transactions on their bank accounts? Can't they reverse unauthorized credit card transactions? If your kid is using your credit card to gamble, you are a lousy parent.

OP didn't stated that minors use their parent's credit cards to fund their gambling habit. He said that minors use their parent's account for them to gamble. If this is really true, how come these parents didn't notice anything on the gambling history of their account. Even if their children use other way to fund their gambling account, they will surely notice if someone use their account other than them.

But I still wonder if this kind of technology is effective enough for those minors who use their parent's access accounts to gambling sites.  Will this be able to detect such action?  Will this kind of technology can trully protect minors and prevent them to access gambling sites?

This won't protect minors but will only promote the unregulated casino or websites. Not everyone want their identity to be fully expose on the government, if they still have choice to not comply to these rules then they would surely prefer those that doesn't need that kind of verification.
3519  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake and primedice are the worst gambling sites on: June 09, 2022, 03:06:11 AM
I still don't know why people are making stake and pd look like the best dice sites when they are actually the worst.
1. They do not give you loss back.

2. The top high rollers are fake meaning you will never win first place Or the fake lotteries.

Why are people hyping these useless sites when these sh*t things they do are obvious.

Is this some kind of joke? It's like you eat in a restaurant then ask for a refund because you didn't like their food.

If you don't want to lose money in gambling then don't gamble at all, simple as that. I've known their website since I started to knew about crypto in 2016 and their website is still operating. If those scam accusations are true then they should have shutdown long ago. They are not the best dice sites out there but they are one of the reputable sites atleast for me.
3520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what countries have the best / most privacy fiendly bitcoin laws? on: June 08, 2022, 01:15:14 PM
Which countries dont ask for KYC for their citizens buying bitcoin on exchanges.

and how come no exchanges have set up operations in those nations and gave a middle finger to the US and EU when asked to collect KYC on their exchanges?

It shouldn't be so hard to anonymously buy bitcoin.

KYC are really needed on decentralized exchanges to keep away criminals to launder money on their platform. If you really want to be completely anonymous in buying bitcoin, there is something what they call OTC or over-the-counter trading or exchange. You find someone that will sell you bitcoin, meet on a certain place which often happens in a casino then do the trade there. Whales often do those kind of stuff to prevent huge movement from the market.
