What advice would you give to society that has a serious porn addiction, Even the people that say they don't watch it are liars. Very few people aren't addicited, what do you suggest we do to solve this problem? The most alarming think is the incest porn everywhere with family members doing each other, wtf is going on.
I'm more concerned with facebook and twitter addiction. Are you? If not, why? I'm with you in this matter and I'm guilty too but I wanna get rid of this problem soon. I feel so unproductive. Every time I hold my phone I am there and I cannot just uninstall the applications because I use them to communicate with my family but the habit of scrolling and spending time doing nothing but scroll is so disappointing. With porn addiction problem, just like any other addiction that affects the person badly, still needs renewal of mind. It should be a lot easier to scrap twitter. Facebook has made a point of embedding itself as a social construct. I encourage people to look at telegram, it can bridge the gap between simple messaging and facebook.

Productivity continues to increase and we will see even greater improvements as technology gets even better. Shouldn't the end goal be for humans to work less? The monetary system truly doesn't matter, what matters is the amount of resources we have. An economic crash doesn't just magically take away the natural resources we have. If one person could press a button and produce all the things we make now that should be the goal.
Watch the movie Idiocracy. That's my best argument for why this shouldn't be our goal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJIjoE27F-Q

a society addicted to incest porn? what do you mean with that, it sounds absurd. In many (most) places incest is illegal, hence "incest porn" if actually played out by family members would be illegal. Hence it's likely mostly fake.

It is not Trump who won the elections,It was Hillary who lost the elections. Results might be different if bernie had contested in lieu of Hillary. Anyone here who think Trump will get another 4 years?
Yes he'll get another four years. And if Bingo Bernie had stayed in there would have been more split between him and Hillary, and Trump would have won by a larger percentage.

Effectively you can't get a college degree in Greece because every year or two the teachers strike.
Yeah exactly. And did you know that 10% of French die every week because of the strikes too? I mean as it seems you like to just fabricate shit like a buzzfeed writer why not go even further? No. That's from friends I have in Greece.

.... She is without a doubt the most dangerous type of politician. As you don't know what they'll when they gain substantial power.
At least you've spotted it, instead of being fooled. But I'm not sure that's all accurate. Isn't the true ideologue in politics is far more dangerous?

...Bernie will be old, and dead, and probably forgotten....
Yes he is. But some people still believe in Bernie Bingo.

I don't know about that but it you're right....
So you don't know about the facts of your own list? .... you are cherry picking Greece as an example while ignoring the rest of the 25 countries on the list, where for most, that certainly isn't the case. This is right out of the playbook though. Cherry pick extreme examples of places like Greece or Venezuela and ignore all of the most successful countries in the world.
Oh really? So you cherry picked a list "OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL COUNTRIES" as far as socialized blah-blah-blah, and I still have an easy time showing the lies and half truths in your list? I guess that's right. You didn't list South Africa, where socialized medicine is an abject, horrible failure. How many other nightmares did you omit? Venezuela, Ethiopia... You did cherry pick your list, didn't you? Come on, admit it.

.... Free college tuition.... Greece Yes Yes, but classes are taught in Greek.....
But lets just ignore this heapload of facts ...
Which of course are not facts, but partial truths and complete lies. Effectively you can't get a college degree in Greece because every year or two the teachers strike. But you left those FACTS out, didn't you?

Bernie Sanders has hired Stephanie Kelton as a top economic advisor so he has to know about MMT. She will likely be treasury secretary under the next democratic president so I can't understand why he, or no other progressive will explain MMT on TV when CNN regurgitates the "how you gonna pay for that" question.
Aside from economists, Jill Stein is the only politician I've ever seen explain MMT directly. Is that political suicide? Why do democrats insist on falling into the trap of saying they will raise taxes?....
You may have just discovered finance, but others have known about it forever. I need and use such knowledge in my work and have read and studied extensively. Yes, that includes universities. The differences between latent and explicit inflation, catch up periods, and things such as the economic impact of increasing circulation of money in retail, versus hard assets such as real estate, these concepts go back to Keynes. And when did he live? Don't know? Who did he work for? How about Hyack? Friedman? Could it be that they actually understood this stuff and you don't?

We have an issue in this area that's without a doubt one of the weirder ones on the forum, and I want to know if everyone agrees that it's spam and should just be moved to a different section. I'm going to list out the threads. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=787093.0 - ElDeRs oF 13 iNbReD EuRoPeAn bLoOdLiNeS HoUsE TrAiNiNg tHeIr iNbReD ChIlDrEn https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=253142.0 - nSa, CiA, iRs, DhS, aTf, FbI, gChQ, fEdErAl rEsErVe, IsIs aRe tErRoRiStS https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=179616.0 - oNgOiNg cIvIl wAr iN U.S.A. cOrPoRaTiOn Now pardon me as I made every other letter capital, though I do think that shows the amount of REAL discussion that is going on in these threads. (Hint: There is no real discussion, it's just aCtOr_tOm_tRuOnG writing back and forth to himself over and over and over for about 100 pages a thread) No one is debating with him, he's just simply rambling on and on and on and keeping his shitposting threads alive. I honestly feel like he's just using these threads as his own private blog. It's spam, and it shouldn't be here. What does everyone else think? Interesting, I just went over to the Meta section and looked HERE ---> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0#post_rulesand found Forum Rule #32 32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed. .....? Perhaps if the local moderator will not take action, this complaint should be put to the Meta thread. Clearly it's against the forum rules.

Mexican and South American immigrants are not the type of people that do that sort of stuff.
That's what I thought too so I was kinda taken aback when I first heard it. It did started checking it when I saw your reply and it turns out that they simply lowered the penalties for such behavior May 2017. No, I'm quite serious. These are not those kinds of people. These are mostly civilized people some from farms many from cities all with mobile phones. Most look for work and find it, often work for cash. $150USD / day is typical. There's a seriously bad percentage like 1-5% that has to be reckoned with, of course.

.... No I said I will not donate or volunteer in his camapaign this time because he was a sheepdog candidate in 2016 and all of that money and organization ended up being rolled into the Clinton campaign against my interests and will.
So there is nothing wrong with him as a candidate except that he is running in a corrupt right-wing party. If you have criticisms of him you need to say what they are instead of falsely claiming he is "retarded".
Actually there was everything wrong with him, but nothing that his blinded foolish followers could see. Yes, the corrupt left wing Democrats saw through his shams and used him just like they used his followers. Although the corrupt Democrats are sane enough to know that America isn't going the way of Venezuela, Bernie's followers are not. So the joke's on you and always was. Don't feel too bad, though, because the Repubs played the exact same game. Except this last time around, the People saw through these shams and put Trump in office. That's really worth thinking about a bit. Nothing about Bernie is Venezuelan. He even supports the US led Coup as Jetcash mentioned. You can't be as simple as "Venezuela tried to help the poor and Bernie wants to help the poor so they are the same" Your washed up old hippie socialist offers the same lies and promises as Venezuelan socialists did, that if even partly implemented, will drive a country to bankruptcy. To be fair, though, I realize fully that you and other radicals don't want any of your promoted heroes associated or linked with total fucked losers like Maduro. But it's you and them that put themselves into that total fucked loser category by promoting Free Stuff For All. Not sure how I can help you out of that predicament...

Bernie Sanders has hired Stephanie Kelton ......government doesn’t actually finance its activity by levying taxes or issuing bonds. Instead, it creates money by spending it into existence. If a government wants to build a road, it calls some contractors and puts money in their bank accounts to pay for it. Where does this money come from? The same place all money comes from: thin air.
This means, among other things, that the government can always pay for whatever it wants ― .......The Federal Reserve can raise interest rates to deal with it, Congress can raise taxes to pull money out of circulation or even impose price controls. .....
These are socialist dreams that sooner or later result in a loss in the value of the money and a distrust in it. When that happens, the people are impoverished. And they are impoverished by the likes of you and those you quote. Your promises of easy free stuff are just lies, in fact you'd make the people poor while the socialist leaders ALWAYS get rich.

The way it actually works, they'll let Bernie run and even give him a lot of publicity. But just like last time, they'll be aiming to fold his votes into the back-room-selected-bred-candidate.
And you'll be used, just like last time.
This is why I'm not giving another dollar or minute to Bernie's campaign until he has fully cleared the primary. At least you're honest about it, that's fair. I don't know how he's getting the large amount of donors that he had before -- but, people are stupid I guess..... Alternately, quite more likely and useful, BELIEVE NOTHING THEY SAY....

I didn't get used. I didn't vote for Clinton, I didn't vote for Trump. Frankly I think 2016 was a big win for what I want. (Which is for policy specifics to take center stage in American politics) And Bernie was the one who did it. I'm working class and I don't regret supporting Bernie, my only regret was that my support was mostly just money. This time around I may take it more seriously and volunteer a few hours for him as well. If you recall before 2016 Medicare for all was considered fringe by the democrats. "Medicare for All" was fringe because the Dems were after a universal health care, which after successive botches and puke worthy failures morphed into the final product called "Obamacare." The only recovery from the current reality of a shit Obamacare being patched/terminated/corrected by Trump's actions is to go a different route for the FREE STUFF FOR ALL. Hence, "Medicare for all." But it doesn't matter because that's an idealist notion, and the election is purely a power struggle. These two realities cannot be confused.
