How the hell doesn't Josh Zerlan have a scammer tag for this shameless BFL gambit?
Oh, right.  They have a business relationship with bitcointalk.   Roll Eyes

The discussion thread is here if you would like to express your concerns to the forum staff.

Their silence in this matter is deafening.

3524  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs Forced "On Hold For Refund" for all my Single SC orders on: May 28, 2013, 03:55:17 PM
Intoh aka josh is using a sock puppet as he knows that the moment one law suit is issued against BFL and won, the gates or narnia will be torn down and BFL will be having to spend probably ALL their money on lawyers as everyones going to jump on board as frankly this BFL BULLSHIT is getting old. who knows perhaps fraudulent activity will end up being discovered by these DOUCHEBAGS, does this company even get audited Huh?  to prove to the customers where their money has gone. HOW DO WE KNOW THAT BFL LABS ARNT GIVING THEMSELVES 6 FIGURE SALARIES WITH THE CUSTOMERS MONEY?
JOSH I KNOW YOUR READING THIS AND YOUR MONKEY IQ WHICH IS PORTRAYED BY YOUR RESPONSES TO CUSTOMERS IS NOT SMARTER THAN THE PUBLIC, SO CUT YOUR HORSE S**T! ****HOLE

This what I am having trouble wrapping my head around.

 - Be an asshole towards people/customers on Bitcoin talk
 - Have your customers call you out on being an asshole
 - Punitively cancel your customers' preorders because they talked back to you
 - Former customer is sure to be silenced, slink away into the night, never to be heard from again
 - Continue to taunt their former customer that they seemingly have no legal recourse

It never should have reached the point where I became as irate as I did. EVER.

This is clearly not a normal business-transaction scenario. Certainly not like one I have ever committed myself to.

To support and applaud these sort of business ethics in America seems foreign to me.

I was thinking the same thing. One could only estimate.
If BFL had delivered 120GH/s to Xian in November 2012 then one could use the earning power of the early Avalons as a comparable case.

Yes, I was hoping to treat it as an estimate. I wanted to divide the actual 120GHs figures in half or possibly even down to a quarter for a more possible present day valuation.

My gut is telling me the number of BTC is not insignificant after making either adjustment.
3527  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs Forced "On Hold For Refund" for all my Single SC orders on: May 28, 2013, 06:21:41 AM
 Ditto, Josh.

Newton's Third Law is most certainly problematic, huh ?

Xian ... let me go on record as saying you are one of the worst people I have ever met - virtually or otherwise .  If you want to go after BFL .. do it. If you want to hate BFL .. do it. But this duplicitous non-committal approach is what got you here. Enjoy. IF you guys sponsor this horseshit -  I will lose all the respect for you that I don't have.
3528  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL power consumption / Charity Donation on: May 28, 2013, 05:25:06 AM
Another few weeks have passed. Is there any information that BFL payed the 1000 BTC to a charity? Links?!

There is a growing sentiment on these forums to have Inaba branded with a "Scammer" tag for not honoring this bet in a timely manner.

3529  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Miners, Consumer Protections (UCC), and Pre-orders on: May 28, 2013, 05:04:38 AM
If you were unhappy with your pre-order not making you any money between then and now, you could have asked for a refund.

With all due respect, and I know you have done a great job in running the Twitter feed and keeping the community up-to-date, you are a shill. A paid-for-and-bought shill. Tell Ivan I say "Hi."

Forgive me for adding you to my ignore list. I would recommend you return to the safety and sanctity of your Butterfly Labs shout-box and continue to drink the koolaid with it's participants.

This webpage downtime kinda sucks, huh ? Good to see automatic payouts are being made despite the page not being accessible. My miners have been dutifully plugging away despite the web outage.

Props to the Bitminter peeps for having things nicely segmented.

Wanted to echo the post I made in Legal here.

"It wouldn't feel right asking the community to donate money for my legal pursuits. I've thought about it, but it doesn't sit well with me. I need to deal with this myself.

The only way something might feel right, is if it was for a forums based advertising account, where all proceeds donated would be used as a "Butterfly Labs Truth-in-Advertising" fund, that would link to a post vetted by a core group of people to have a unified message. JohnK (if he is comfortable with that) or some other trusted source or neutral third-party could be the OP that would only update text after a consensus was reached by a core group.

I'd donate some bitcoin for a fund that goes after BFL and helps out Xian.... anyone else want to get JOHN K. to escrow that?

 I am terrible with math.

Would a kind soul be able to calculate the BTC earnings of 120GH/s (Two 60GH/s Single SC's) worth of processing power sustained to present day, assuming I took delivery of my pre-orders on November 1st, 2012.

 It would be most appreciated.

EDIT: 1 BTC reward to the first person that posts a Google docs with an accurate assessment.
3535  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL upgrade now offered on 5ghz orders.(screenshot) on: May 28, 2013, 02:51:47 AM
What turned me off to BFL was Josh's incandescent disdain for the community that spawned him, and BFL's sketchy marketing campaign.
Even animals know you aren't supposed to shit where you eat.
That is more or less what you did unfortunately.

I do admit to getting irate, true. It never should have come to that Sad Wouldn't have under normal circumstances.

AsicMiner-PT I purchased them at .8 BTC now 2.4 BTC and I earned some dividends with them  my shares are on this site.
https://btct.co/

Ditto. Consider reinvesting your AsicMiner-PT dividends into TAT.AsicMiner to keep that snowball growing.
3537  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: value (BTC) of the Butterfly 60gh/s on: May 27, 2013, 07:07:08 PM
We received last week our 5 butterfly 60gh/s after 1year of waiting (we Brought them 1299usd).
How many they can be sold ? (we want to sell them but at the right price...)

You are a fraud. These products do not exist yet, and no-one has taken delivery of any ASIC product out of Butterfly Labs beyond 50 or so Jalapeños.
3538  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: May 27, 2013, 07:01:41 PM
None of them have anything you can actually buy right now (except for those joke USB eruptors money pits) and Avalon has successfully used batch #1 to sucker people into buying the increasingly delayed batchs #2, #3 and inferior chips they don't have in hand.

The ASICMiner team also makes their 10-12GHs blades available for purchase in addition to their USB sticks.

Avalon are certainly no where near close to walking on water, but to call their chips inferior is subjective. Yes they hash at lower rates compared to ASICMiner or BFL. Beyond that, I'm not sure what your point is. They are out in people's hands hashing today, and Avalon is working towards refining their production process.

Without an adapter, you cannot plug USB 1.1/2.0 devices into USB 3.0 ports.

LOLWUT ?!
