The market for Docademic has indeed grown, they have now more exchange, I hope they can add Kucoin to a list of exchange that they want to submit this is to increase the volume more, I expect this coin to reach $1 in just a short period of time because of its roadmap.
3522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reddit Co-Founder Says Ethereum Price Will Reach $1,500 This Year on: May 16, 2018, 02:51:31 AM
Do you think Ethereum will really cross this price?

It's possible and I'm hoping it will remember Eth reaches $1000 the highest price ever for eth, so we are not wishful thinking if we think that it is going to reach that level, but in my opinion, it will reach that level we just don't know the exact month or year.
3523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to be used as world currency? on: May 16, 2018, 02:34:52 AM
For a long time, now the political elite and the leaders of the Vatican have been looking for a world government and currency,

I do believe that bitcoin is a part of financial future and great way to become an investor, but I have doubts that it can possibly replace traditional money or become world currency.

What are the possibilities and stopovers??

I don't think it will ever become a world currency there's just a lot of obstacles for it to become one, because right now there are a lot of opposition and blockages for Cryptocurrency use as a world currency, but I don't know what the future will bring to us about this subject.
3524  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: My Nano S not working properly on: May 15, 2018, 10:49:43 PM
Thanks to all who help me set this up I finally update my firmwares and Mcu and have also downloaded some applications but I notice that there is a lag or the coin applications are not opening at all, I insert my Nano S and open the coin application but nothing is happening.
Have you also installed the "Ledger Manager Bitcoin" Chrome Extension? (https://www.ledgerwallet.com/apps/bitcoin#get-the-apps)

You need to have installed that extension... and have it open when you start the "coin app" on your Ledger. Once you have installed it in Chrome, unplug your Ledger, then try the following:

1. Click the "Apps" link in Chrome:

2. You should get a list of all the installed "Apps":

3. Click the "Ledger Wallet Bitcoin" Apps:

4. It will open the App window and you should be at the "Connect your device" screen:

5. Connect your Ledger Nano S, enter your PIN and then select the "Bitcoin" coin app (click both buttons) on the Ledger Nano S:

6. You should be on the "Use wallet to view accounts" screen:

7. The "Ledger Wallet Bitcoin" Chrome App should then prompt you to select "Bitcoin" or "Bitcoin Cash":

8. It will then prompt for "Legacy" or "SegWit":

9. It will then start "Syncing" your wallet:

10. After a few moments, your wallet will be opened:

I've able to open or do this the first time but after several attempts on the other day, it always failed to load up I tried it several times I now have all the latest version firmware and MCU but all the ledger wallet are not opening now this is very strange.
3525  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: My Nano S not working properly on: May 14, 2018, 10:14:15 PM
What exactly did you do? Did you follow Lucius' post step-by-step?

Try the following (in this specific order):

  • Close any ledger applicatoin running on your PC
  • Disconnect your nano s
  • Open the device manager (Windows-Logo -> 'device manager')
  • Plug your nano s in
  • Look at the device manager for a new device which just appeared (you may have to click 'reload' at the top bar). It should have a yellow exclamation mark
  • Remove the device from the device manager
  • Open ledger manager
  • Connect your nano s / start the update again

Thanks to all who help me set this up I finally update my firmwares and Mcu and have also downloaded some applications but I notice that there is a lag or the coin applications are not opening at all, I insert my Nano S and open the coin application but nothing is happening.
3526  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: My Nano S not working properly on: May 14, 2018, 11:31:59 AM
I just bought my Nano S hardware wallet, I have configured it but need to update it first to be able to use it,
I have followed all the instruction given here
https://support.ledgerwallet.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002731113-How-to-update-the-Ledger-Nano-S-firmware

but my Nanos device is stuck to update and the ledger wallet site show" To begin connect your Ledger wallet"

How I'm going to fix this

Problem with stuck on update message on Ledger screen is usually caused because of drivers on Windows OS, especially on Windows 7. What you should do is to disconnect Ledger and close Ledger Manager. Then go to Control Panel\System and Security\System > Device manager and under Human Interface Devices - USB Input Device check for any device with yellow mark/click on remove. Then open Ledger Manager and connect Ledger.

You can also check threads for Ledger update firmware 1.4.1 & 1.4.2

I've checked it, Control Panel\System and Security\System > Device manager and under Human Interface Devices - USB Input Device check for any device with yellow mark but there is no device with yellow mark but on other devices there is a yellow mark I disable it but my Nano S is still not working, it is still plugged and it's been two hours but only showing update.
3527  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: My Nano S not working properly on: May 14, 2018, 08:05:51 AM
i had the same problem once. i solved it by resetting the wallet and used the seed to recover the previous state.

and if you move this topic in the alternative client sub you may find more help.
How can I do that each time I plug the nano s I am getting the update message instead of the screen where I am asked to fill the pin code, can you direct me to that site might want to check for a fix or make a thread there about this issue.

3529  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen when 1 satoshi is $ 1? on: May 13, 2018, 01:54:41 AM
What if bitcoin gains much more value than you anticipate? So what happens when 1 satoshi reaches the price of 1 dollar?
What kind of arrangement is made if payment is requested as Cent? Can the bitcoin core be modified?
In my opinion it will not happens .
Because about  100000 satoshi is equal to 1$ then you can think that if it will happen only when the price of bitcoin increase about one lakh time the current price . Which is Impossible for about 10-20 years .
But.if it would be then surely we will restricted to make transaction of minimum 10$ with 0.25satoshi fee of transaction
If adoption continues it will likely to happen, and we will have to transact a minimum amount at that rate, but if that finally happen 1 bitcoin will make one guy a millionaire already I hope that day will come many will become a millionaire among us, these are those who holds their bitcoin even if the price is crashing.
3530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin Cash will take place of Bitcoin? on: May 12, 2018, 04:56:51 AM
Bitcoin price is going down day by day..
Is bitcoin cash have that much potential to overcome the bitcoin?

As long as the coin is on the top 5 in the coinmarketcap and the volume and price is increasing they will always have a potential and a big threat to Bitcoin's supremacy, so far Bitcoincash is in fourth place so it has a pretty good chance to catch up with Bitcoin but beating it I don't think so.
3531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe in ICO Ratings? on: May 12, 2018, 04:23:47 AM
I see many Websites that provide ratings for ongoing ICOs or for the future. Examples such as the ICObench.com Website, ICOrating.com and others.

Which is my question whether you believe in the rating provided by the website. Seeing many ICO's do not match what they value. Many ICOs are arguably good ratings but when the token sales of the project only reach softcap. And there are projects that I see have a fairly mediocre rating but their token sales reach hardcap. I took the example of Lalaworld on ICObench.com they get Rating 3.7 but their token is sold out.

So let's discuss ICO Rating!

Honestly, I do not look or even bother to visit this rating sites, for me they can be manipulated, if you are going to invest or join an ICO bounty its preferable to set up some basic criteria that you yourself set up to avoid being misled.
3532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HONEST bounty hunters should be treated with respect on: May 11, 2018, 06:10:55 AM
I have seen situations where bounty hunters are side-tracked after providing their services towards the success of ICO projects. It is either they are paid less as against initial agreement, or they are not paid at all. I would have mentioned the names of some of those projects, which succeeded, are already listed and yet did not pay bounty hunters. Some things really need to change. We are to be treated with respect, most especially the honest bounty hunters.

It is ok to post it because that is unfair not to get paid after you participated in their bounty campaign, so people will now and they have the right to know what ICO shows dishonesty by not paying their bounty hunters, hope you update this thread on who among them are not paying.
3533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet get hacked? on: May 10, 2018, 03:20:08 AM
Myetherwallet just came under fire last month for domain redirection hacked, so it can still be hacked unless you are ignorant of all the signs that its not the real myetherwallet, better buy yourself a hardware wallet or use a desktop wallet hackers are getting better every day.
3534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: May 10, 2018, 03:13:52 AM
Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?

It's advantageous to sell but do not sell all your tokens, you can sell 20 to 30% and keep the remaining 70% for future profit, of course we never know the real price of the coin in the future, it's still depends on the development of the platform and community support.

Congratulations I also see you are already in coinmarketcap listing and surprisingly on Kucoin, this is a good improvement, people should buy now you have become a must go to coin for the future, congratulations to the team Mcafee seems to be right recommending this token.

Where have you seen Docademic is listed in Kucoin?

If Docademic gets listed to some more big exchanges like hitbtc then it will be great for Docademic and its supporters. Binance, Kucoin along with some other famous names can be the choice.

So far I'm very happy with the Docademic progress and my best wishes always be for Docademic.

And for those guys who didn't grab the MTC pie, should grab now. Because the price is still low to get entry into the market.

Hi you can check it here, I just trade Docademic on hitbtc this is the reason why volume just increased 21 btc in the last 24 hours, and I'm sure more exchange will list this token and volume will definitely inncrease, this is one of the legit ICO of this year.

We are happy to announce that we just signed the lease for our USA offices, located in the heart of Beverly Hills. We will be moving in this month and start our services right away!

Things like these, take us one step closer to bringing free basic healthcare to the world. Thanks for all your support!

3537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is selling Bitcoin? on: May 08, 2018, 06:52:55 AM
Everyone in here is desperate to convince each other the Bitcoin can only go up and therefore you have to buy and hold.

But when you buy Bitcoin, someone is selling it to you.

Why are people selling Bitcoin?

The knowledgeable people are the ones who are now slowly selling out before the bubble bursts. When you are now buying more and more Bitcoin ("investing" as people in here call it) who do you think you are buying them from?

You are buying from the knowledgeable people who are slowly getting rid of their Bitcoin.

Some sellers are selling for profit, these are early holders but the majority are newbies who do not want to see that they are losing their investment so they sell their coins not knowing that this is not going to last and there will always correction and bull trend coming eventually.

Is there anything known what will happen to unsold tokens? Burn or pay over the early investors?

unsold Token will be distributed in the next 24 months to Ico buyers, new buyers and bounty hunters if they hold.

This is a good option and profitable for the future, but everything still lies on how active the team to market and update the platforms, we need to get this on a much popular exchange, why is this not listed on IDEX its free to submit and this token qualifies.
3539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies price on: May 05, 2018, 11:17:11 PM
What do you think, which price for bitcoin, ethereum we will see at the end of the year?
We can see different predictions. Someone say that bitcoin will be 14k$, someone 25k$. Ethereum - 1.7-5k$.
All of them very optimistic, but is it possible that prices will go down? Due to for example government tries to control or close this business, or any other reasons...

Honestly, I am always looking at the price its the morning and evening ritual for me, I like checking how much money I made or lost, I don't care now about the price increased at the end of the year I don't expect that much now, I just want to feel comfortable knowing that I made at least 40% profit or more.
