Any of you guys see the mess that happened on GDAX tonight?

Literally jumped price up over 9,000 dollars.  Halted trading for now and reeling to get things back in place.

I wonder how bad the guys who actually bought at 9 thousand are going to get burned . . why the heck would anyone buy that high when it is thousands of dollars less on other exchanges?

Somethings you just can't explain with logic  Grin

Bots and stop (buy ) loss orders in short squeezes do exactly this - guess nobody could handle this manually - trading is getting digital as well .

That is very nice. I knew it was coming. This time, it will stay above it.

This move might be epic ....  but the top at 0.128 needs to be taken out by far

If a 1MB block takes 30 seconds to verify and validate, with the current code, wouldn't a 1GB block take 50 minutes to verify? Or is it not linear like that? I don't know, 1 block with transactions in it followed by 5 empty blocks seems inefficient. However, it appears the BCH team is working on this bottleneck, so why are we debating about my original concerns? The concern is no longer valid.

With Current Cable Bandwidth of 100 Mbits , 1 MB block can be transmitted in less than 1 second or a 750MB block transmitted in 1 minute

100Mbits/8 = 12.5 megabytes per second or 750 megabytes in 1 minute
Even 8 MB blocks are nothing at modern internet speeds.
60 Nodes can verify in 1 minute at the 12.5Mb size
In the 2nd Minute 3600 more nodes can verify
In the 3rd  Minute 12960000 more nodes can verify
or
1 Nodes can verify in 1 minute at the 750 Mb size
In the 2nd Minute 2 more nodes can verify
In the 3rd Minute 4 more nodes can verify
In the 4th Minute 16 more nodes can verify
In the 5th Minute 256 more nodes can verify
In the 6th Minute 65536 more nodes can verify

*Neither Bitcoin has over 20000 Full Nodes at the present time*

Once the normal is 1 Gbps
1 Gbps/8 = 125 megabytes per second or  7.5 gigabyte block in 1 minute

Once the normal is 10 Gbps
10 Gbps/8 = 1.25 gigabytes per second or  75 gigabyte block in 1 minute

Once the normal is 100 Gbs
100 Gbs/8 =12.5 Gigabytes per second or 750 gigabyte block in 1 minute

Price in angel phases should be as low as possible or who wants to buy around the top? Hmm. "Risk - Reward" , what was that about?

Bitcoin cash is accepted in dream market which is established since 2013, people can buy more things in the dark market now by BCH. I think you should persuade more bitcoin casinos and sportsbook accept BCH.

and one more word
I don't understand why some people want compare this coin to BTC
BCH is far from BTC , it like as you want compare a small Van to big Truck , it's not wisely
BCH has to walk long way like as BTC did already .. BTC has high fess right now but BCH can't be a BTC never ! this is hard to understand ?

If you believe 1MB and SW and LN and 2nd Layer are the correct solution - sure - you cannot understand Wink

I see that several people get their trust level downgraded to negative if they criticize BTC.

What's up with that?  Is this supposed to be an echo chamber?

Yes. Theymos declared this statement of guiding principle some months ago.

Hmpff - looks I'm a lame goose - not gotten any decoration yet...

Maybe try to use less words over 9 letters each so the core devs and Lauda can understand you..  ;

here is a large platinum coin for you;

And just know you are our blood brother with red ink till the end even if the bct overlords have omitted yours!

people you have to understand ...bcash is just a BTC fork...did ver worked on bitcoin core dev ? when did he code something ever ?  come on...bcash is just a joke

Isn't Segwit BTC a fork as well? Correct if I'm wrong.

You are correct - no doubt. It's just deployed with a soft fork - not hard as Bitcoin Cash.

I have bought some BCC at 1k4$. Do you think BCC will hit to 2k4$?? or it will be backed to 300$ in the future??  Huh

The best way to answer that question is to research Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

The CORE team and the BCH developers are still chattering about who is orthodox Bitcoins, but horrifying bank transfer fees have forced us to turn to BCH or other altcoin for lower transfer fees.

Yep, and so BitcoinSegwit market share plummed down.

Now, what do you expect if BCH could solve it?

90% of all bitcoin owners have less than 0.1 BTC each

the fees to transfer $100 worth of BTC cost around $25. that is outrageous
Simple solution: use the real Bitcoin. Real Bitcoin has near zero fees.  It always has.  Bitcoin.com

I hope that this just was a bad joke. BCH, as referenced by bitcoin.com as the 'real' bitcoin, is just a bad joke itself.
Changing blocksize is just a temporary fix. Its just delaying the problem. On-chain solutions to the scaling problem aren't going to be successful.
There has to be a second layer (like the lightning network, coming soon) to handle this problem.

This is rather a wet dream - but BCH is real and compatible to oldest Satoshi's versions - shops are coming back here.

Yeah - that's cool. It's cheaper in price and fees - looks like with BTC you have to (pre-) pay for lot's of useless over-engineering stuff  : SW, LN, RBF, shills, bubble ... does not make much sense Wink
