3521  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on its way to $100000?! on: February 11, 2022, 09:49:00 PM
to dream of a price of $100k first we need to see the price, we will break the $70,000 and only after that can we dream of prices of $100k I say that because we are still in an indecision zone
We're almost there and almost reached $70k but the fun was too short and the correction has happened.
we do not know if the price will rise or if it will fall back to the $34000, everything will depend on the next days to know the next movement that the price will follow
I agree, the market got into a dip today and we don't know if this will continue again even below $34k. As for the expectation that it will reach $50k, I guess that it won't be that easy for us to see it like that. Another weekend of dips maybe but by Monday, we'll see how high it will recover.
3522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Eying NFT!!! on: February 11, 2022, 08:50:04 PM
I'm a fan and player of this game and if they're going to add an NFT, this is a welcoming development. I want to be positive with every move that they good and find it cool.
With the other news that I've heard, they're planning to go with GTA 6 but I don't know if they've already started working on it. If they make GTA not just an NFT but also having a P2E environment, well, many of us would be living for real on its realm.
3523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I the only one who loves BTC but hates the Metaverse idea and the NFTs? on: February 10, 2022, 11:02:17 PM
I also feel the same way as you but we are helpless because there are so many people who like metaverse lol...

Until now I have never invested in a metaverse project, my husband and I believe in Bitcoin more than having to bet on concepts that can't actually be applied to the public. I'm not against metaverse I just don't really like those who support metaverse tokens more than bitcoin.
I've read people that it's really like betting with the metaverse projects. But we really can't help there. We have types of project that we want to invest and some are just wanting to stay holding bitcoin. There's nothing wrong with any of the choice and as long as you're targeting something to gain in the future through your holdings, that's what others are also thinking about and that's why they get into different forms of projects like Metaverse, Defi and other invest-able projects that's truly bearing higher risk.
3524  Economy / Services / Re: Abilities on: February 10, 2022, 04:31:19 PM
You have already posted a thread on the Services about needing a help. You don't have to make a new thread about it. Just go to that thread you've made which is the Need you help and then include all of those skills that you have. That's the suggestion to you and it's good that you've listened to their advise but just edit and add it there and lock this thread too.
3525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: February 10, 2022, 02:47:57 PM
It's unknown since there are also those people that are saying that this is a welcoming fight. But AFAIK, it's really been said that there's no way this match would happen.
Let's just accept that there won't be a fight anymore and that's good as it is. Despite the crowd that has made noise for this fight, there's no need to stress it out that they're feeling bad. It's still Mike Tyson and his team that has the final say and it's been said already.

You are right that this fight might not happen anytime soon but I think there's still a big possibility for this to happen.

Tyson nor Logan Paul will continue to do exhibition matches since they both know that there's a big money out of it.

Or maybe, they will end up fighting a different personality. Who knows at the end.
About the possibility, I don't think there really is a big chance that it will still happen. I'm just relying to the statements that has been published by the media.
And the statement that I've read is that there's really no reason for Mike to fight Logan. He's the big guy here and if he let this match happen, he just did Logan a favor that he might regret after the match.
3526  Economy / Economics / Re: Impact of Bitfinex hack on the economy on: February 10, 2022, 10:43:47 AM
What impact do you think this will have on bitcoin price if the total seizure were back into circulation?
Nothing. No matter what the good and bad news are there, one thing for sure is that bitcoin will continue to thrive. And even those seized coins are back in circulation and they start selling it, it will eventually go up as everyone's going to buy those cheap bitcoins.
There's really no need to worry about this news. We've seen many type of bad news and FUD yet the market has grown stronger and better. That's what I think and it doesn't make me worry whether they put that seized coins on an auction or dump it immediately.
3527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good is staking coins? on: February 10, 2022, 09:28:36 AM
How much money do you make from staking each month?
It is not profitable when you're going to stake with a small amount.
People don't seem to be talking about their staking rewards, but miners seem to be...... Wink
That's why many don't seem to be interested on it because what they can earn from holding is much better than putting it on stake. Because even if the required capital is just small, you'll realize to make it profitable, you need to have a higher capital. I've been there and I don't think this is what I need. But if you're holding a coin and you don't need it for years then you stake that if you want to.
3528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: February 09, 2022, 11:31:14 PM
I'm already confused whether this fight will take place or not. As practice shows there is no point in trusting articles from sports columnists as they also do not check rumors for authenticity but only spread the same information. I checked Mike Tyson's Instagram but I couldn't find any answer there either.
I'm also confused whether this match will proceed or not. But I'm more leaning onto the side that there's no hope for this match anymore. Most of the articles that I've seen say that there's no match that will happen for Logan and Mike. But on the other side, there goes the rumors as well as that's not yet final and it's still possible for them to talk to. Well, for now, I'm good as thinking that this fight will never happen and I'll just leave it there to have a peace of mind and won't think of it anymore. If some developments come and news about the possibility of this match to proceed then let's get on it.
This thread should be locked imho. What you think? Its been mostly been showed or cleared that there are no interest of fighting specially on Tyson which into those links given above is a good time to read it up and its true that links could be seen everywhere when it comes to these words which its clear as day that they wont really be doing this and its just really ending up on a rumor but haven't been realized it yet since there were no negotiations in between camps so its safe to presume on this one.

3529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where are you guys exploring for new coins, and monitoring the exicted? on: February 09, 2022, 10:36:46 PM
If you want you can find out about the best tokens from Coingeko and Coin Marketcap. I mostly get ideas about tokens from these two.
There's no other place to get those potential tokens that we've got in the market but with those trackers.

Because it will give you good information about tokens. And how much does a token cost, how much volume can you find out? So I think you can get a general idea from this.
There are instances that a token's information that's being displayed there isn't verified. But, the good thing with that is that they're giving a note that they haven't verified the info for that token if ever they haven't done it.
3530  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia to make bitcoin a currency on: February 09, 2022, 04:44:22 PM
He should've said that earlier. AFAIK, their very own genius Vitalik has been working with a government project but it's not about bitcoin, probably with his ETH.
This is a positive development. With just approval and a few words from Putin then things would come as he wants to go if it's about bitcoin in a positive note for telling it as a currency.

3532  Economy / Economics / Re: Times Change! on: February 08, 2022, 10:47:39 PM
Lesson - if Wikipedia hadn't written off bitcoin as a scam and went ahead to accept it as a form of donation since 2010, alot of people would have donated hundreds of thousands of bitcoins to them back then since bitcoin was almost worth less then, by now, they would have all retired as millionaires and billionaires. And today, they've added bitcoin back as a form of donation, but I will rather donate usd to them than donate my precious bitcoins(my digital gold).
This is for sure but we can't blame them for labeling bitcoin as a scam before. That was a year where online scams were proliferating and people were still unknown how to determine scams. That's why it's just a normal reaction for them to think of it as a scam.
Well, as they accept donation in bitcoin. There would still be people that would be glad to send them bitcoin as a donation because they've been helpful. But just like you, I'll keep my btc.  Cheesy
3533  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touched $43k, from $33k in two weeks on: February 08, 2022, 07:43:05 PM
It's back above 43k now and it looks quite bullish, hopefully next target will be around 50k too. Maybe the bearish season really is over.
It might be and it's also possible that the bear hasn't arrived yet. The dump that we've seen was just a natural correction. Because bearish season is totally hurting and price that it pulls for bitcoin is too low. Right now, it's still testing to go above $45k.
The sooner that it reaches to $45k, it's more worrying because it won't increase continuously. Like what it is showing right now, there's a slight delay and small correction.
3534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino KYC how it works and to what effect on: February 07, 2022, 11:40:40 PM
  ..
They're mandated by their government. As much as they don't want to require KYC, it is the government that forces them to take KYC from their customers.

Yes

But the government is also responsible for protection of people's sensitive and personal datas !  So while some services must know the real identifier of a user because of the nature and purpose of the service, why make it mandatory also for services that are more likely not!

If it is a practice made to facilitate or favor any operation or intervention of any governmental domain, certain rights of persons must normally be given priority and are in fact subject to higher legal guarantees!

Yes, there's the advantage that we see to it for what they think is right and as well as the disadvantage that we see based on what we think as well.
It's like give and take for everybody and as always, the government is the one that enforces these rules for the sake of everybody. But just as we want to think, it's all about the regulation and control that they impose due to the personal benefit of the government.
3535  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 07, 2022, 09:39:28 PM
Bitcoin is fully decentralized which is why I think it doesn't have to compete with Fiat at all, those who needs the decentralized idea should just keep using BTC as it is, we all know that CBDC will run on the blockchain too but in centralised form so where thus this leave Bitcoin?
There's actually no need to think about where bitcoin is going if CBDCs are already there. Bitcoin will remain as is and where it is. While these CBDCs are going to be the hard pledged "crypto" as these government says that they have full control.
It's not a problem at all when we think of that much because bitcoin will still on its form whether the CBDC will be promoted and advised by the government.
3536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: can it stole my metmaask funds (urgent) on: February 07, 2022, 08:37:40 PM
By reading the website's name, "grimacecoin" was mentioned by McDonalds on their tweet reply to Elon. That's likely a scam or just another meme coin.
i paid like 300$ IN FEES but is worth my peace of mind
Seriously, you paid this much? Well, nothing beats the peace of mind but I'm just surprised to see how much you really paid for that fee.
3537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's a pleasant way of marketing? on: February 06, 2022, 08:40:56 PM
A visual/video would be the best idea of it. Since you're making a game, create a video that shows how exciting the game you're developing. Attraction starts from seeing the visuals and design of the game. So I think you should hire really a great video editor or maker for the fun game that you're building then goes the marketing through social media which has been said by bitmovr.
3538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino KYC how it works and to what effect on: February 06, 2022, 07:34:41 PM
Realizing how negatively kyc is seen by many players mostly in cryptocurrency casinos players am confused what kyc does in a casino, why do some casino operators have kyc and others don't have. I email also a part of kyc because most casinos often than not request email. What are KYC's advantages and disadvantages.
They're mandated by their government. As much as they don't want to require KYC, it is the government that forces them to take KYC from their customers.
It's always the part of the money being used for laundering but it's common that these casinos are being used for that. So, when someone they see taking advantage of them, they know the identity of that person and it's up to them if they can charge you up with any case that they think should be fined to you.
3539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Bitcoin Gold remain decentralized on: February 06, 2022, 06:31:21 PM
do you think bitcoin gold can maintain its decentralized nature or will its purpose of creation be compromised with time?
Honestly, I've got no more updates on this project and from the last thing that ever happened to it, that's the one that I know what exactly it was. The 51% attack.
If the developers of it managed to fix that then there's the upgrade and no government would like to buy back any decentralized project. Why would they do that if they can develop a cbdc for themselves?
It's just a bitcoin fork and you know what most of the bitcoin fork goes? They're losing popularity and dropping in volume and charts.
3540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making valentine's day memorable with bitcoins. on: February 06, 2022, 12:36:33 PM
I was thinking that I'll just send a small amount of bitcoin and make her a bitcoin wallet. I like the idea of giving a Ballet Card, thanks for the idea. And I find this better way and more romantic I guess.
However, I'm not sure if she's going to keep it for real since I know her attitude and the way she keep her stuff, personally. I'll start for making her a phone wallet and sending her a little amount in batches and that's it.
