3521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am not lucky in trading - what am I doing wrong? on: November 27, 2019, 09:50:16 PM
Hello all,

need advise, if any exist Smiley
I am trading btc few years - but it seems I havent learnt anything. My plan was to use bitcoin volatility to earn some extra btc, but it seems I am not able to do this.
I am selling/buying always in wrong time. Using volume as only indicator, as others do not make sense for me.

For example I see a series of red candles with increased selling volume, price crossing support line (like today crossing 7040, 7000, 6900 USD) so I sold 0.8btc in expectation price fall to 6500 usd as few days ago.
But 1.5 hour later price changed and went up and my prediction was again wrong. And the same is during increase of price. If the price hits e.g. 10300 usd and starts falling I do not sell, because I am not sure when it will turn again. And then I usually miss fall in price from 10300 to 7300 which is finally 3000 usd, what you can earn on 1 sold btc at correct time.

Am I doing something completly wrong? Or it is not possible to predict the movement of btc?

thanks
P.

What about to tell us when you decide to buy/sell and then let us do the opposite? This way we will profit and donate you some money for wrong predictions which was beneficial and correct for us.
Well, joke of course. OP to be fair the more you fail, the more it destroys your confidence and leads you to make more stupid mistakes. You think like you failed and you are bad in trading, maybe trading isn't your job, maybe - yes, depends on you. What about to try even more times but with very small amounts and record your % profit and loses? Do that for 2-3 months and calculate whether you did well or not. If you succeed, maybe try with higher amounts. Remember, trading also depends on luck and if you failed, it doesn't mean you failed, you just found that your strategy doesn't work and it's better to move on new one and think differently.
3522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are crypto casinos/dice houses not caring about multiple accounts. on: November 27, 2019, 08:47:16 PM
As part of my new gambling strategy development, I need to have at least 10 accounts to gamble with.

10 accounts may be with 10 different casinos or with only one casino. More preciously if I have 10 accounts with same gambling house then it would be more helpful as the percentage of house edge will be same (otherwise I may need to fine tune my strategy to withstand against different house edges).

I like to get your opinion from your experiences like what are the crypto casinos which are allowing multiple accounts or who are all not bothering about accessing them through VPN. Also, which casino is more strict about multiple accounts. I plan to access my accounts with different IP around the globe (I mean I do not have plans to access all the accounts from same IP address).

All your inputs are highly appreciated. I checked few houses' TOS and FAQ but most casinos are not explicitly not mentioning about their stand against multiple accounts and accessing them through VPN.

I understood what's your point and if I amn't wrong this is what you plan to do: Play with 10 account, bet from 1 account, if lose, then move on second account, if still lose, then on third one. In this cases you think you'll significantly increase your chance of win cause you won't abuse only one account. Have thought about that too but never tried.
Ideally casinos with 1% house edge would be great for you:
1. Bitsler
2. FortuneJack
3. Stake
4. Primedice
5. Yolodice
6. BitDice
7. Windice
8. CyberDice
9. bustadice
10. Wolfbet

Crypto-games is great too but they have 0.8% house edge, idk if that's beneficial for you. On another hand, if I amn't wrong, those websites share 1% house edge.

3523  Economy / Economics / Re: If we can see a country with 'Bitocin standard' monetary system on: November 27, 2019, 07:09:42 PM
From the America history we can know that America was a Deflation economic system in few years. At that time USD was maintain and the prices was keeping a low average. This why we need a 'something standard' monetary system but not a credit credentials paper.

You can imaging that if some 'third world countries' become a 'Bitcoin standard' monetray system , and show the Bitcoin savings address, what will happen?

Bitcoin will not be issues over the maximum supply ,and nobody can make a 'fake bitcoin'. These country need to save x bitcoin to issue their monet, they will have a healty economics system, the other countries will happy to keep their money and want to trade will them.
People won't be afraid of inflation , and the prices will not go high in a long cycle times.
We with our hard work are the only one escape of the problems we caused cause this is the world/nature we changed. We can significantly improve economical situation of every living human but will that happen? No cause we have selfish billionaires, lazy people... We have wars between us for no reason or for the sake of 1-2 person who just get pleasure from it and soldiers kill each other to show them show.
But in this situation bitcoin can be a solution cause they won't be able to fake something that's with fixed value like bitcoin. We don't even need local currencies, one global will be great but trading is a huge business in some countries.
3524  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Website Ideas on: November 27, 2019, 06:36:04 PM
VPN services, masternode services etc etc are all good ideas but already have been done plenty of times over. We need something new and innovative but im not sure of what...

It is not new but as long as you can innovate and find a sweet spot, you might get a decent amount of money.

That aside, is radio still popular? And why does it have to be decentralized? I don't think it's an attractive idea. Instead of doing that, make a new platform that's similar to Patreon with Bitcoin.
Yes, I think SiriusXM is very popular in USA and places where it's available. A lot of artists try their best to do debut of their songs through Sirius channels but I have no idea what he means in decentralized radio and what bitcoin has to do there.

mrquackquack
Am I the only one who found your posts a little bit difficult to understand?
Everything, blogging, forum, streaming and etc what you stated is popular, if not, at least has it's own huge customers. If you are great at something, then you'll have customers always, there is demand - there is supply.
You can create offshore cloud hosting or storage hosting and accept bitcoin deposits, this is the place where you'll mostly have users with wish to pay btc.
Do you want to create blog around bitcoin? For example there is one amazing blog: https://1stminingrig.com/ <-- See it, great option what kind of website to run and how to monetize.
There are a lot of website ideas but you have to choose niche where you'll be able to easily collect crypto community. Not something like streaming because it will take a lot of money and Vod also stated everything correctly.
3525  Economy / Services / Re: Web developer for hire - recent developments included on: November 27, 2019, 05:56:55 PM
At some point I was very interested in graphics which includes after effects, 3dmax and etc, html/css, php and so on but I don't have nervous for that and found myself in different place which suits me. Btw still love that at some point, it's amazing when you create something from your knowledge.
To be fair I can't say anything from those two links, second one looks like background with image and that's all.
If you really have knowledge in html/css, Bootstrap, php, js and etc, personally I suggest you to try your fate on themeforest and in overall on envato's websites. They are great platform to create something and sell. I think that's much more beneficial than being hired by someone for particular time.
3526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How anonymous is BTC/Can they find my name? on: November 27, 2019, 05:16:43 PM
Hi all

First post here on the forum Smiley

My wife made an account on Binance, made a deposit with her credit card, and then transferred 0.05BTC to a guy. That’s the only thing she have used the account for.
Now I’m going to receive some BTC on my wife’s Binance account, and he is asking for my name, but as told it’s not the same a on the Binance account.

The question is, are there some way that he can see what name the account was made in?

Have a great day
Bitcoin has nothing to do with your anonymity at this point. There are some ways of course and it includes: He works in binance and has access to some serious things and second - he has someone who works in binance with access on needed things.
Otherwise bitcoin has nothing to do with your name.
And please can you clarify who is asking for your name? The guy which was deposited by your wife? Or absolutely different person? If he is asking, then just ignore that question, all he needs is your wallet adress to send bitcoins.
So chill out, he can't see real full name of your account.
3527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you invest 60 BTC? on: November 26, 2019, 08:36:57 PM
Suppose you earned 60BTC by working hard for 5 years and one day you decide now you don't want to work then what would you do with that amount?
How would you invest that amount? What will you do? Hold it dreaming the price will rise? Sell it and invest the fiat? or start a business? or retire? Any ideas?  Tongue
Just ask directly, what would you do with half a billion usd dollar?
It hugely depends on where you live. There are a lot of possibilities to spend that money in a wise way. For example in some countries you can buy up to 7 amazing apartment up to 100m square and then rent them while in USA, Great Britain and similar countries you are very limited to do that action because apartments there are very expensive.
You can also start official bitcoin exchange service with partners and etc if you live in small country. You can buy bitcoin ATMs and set them in your country. You can buy miners and mine bitcoin or altcoins. You can also make datacenter and start hosting business by letting others to host their servers in your datacenter.
See how many ideas can be just written so quickly. Think well, business depends on your country because demand on things, products and services is very different from not only to country to country but also from city to city.
3528  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com SPORTS BETTING NOW LIVE! on: November 26, 2019, 07:24:57 PM
SPORTS ARE NOW LIVE! Two years later we have full confidence our offering is the best in the market and are excited for you all to try Smiley

Let us know what you think. https://stake.com/sports
Finally, to be fair I was waiting for this moment for so long. Your design of sportsbook is quite different from others, is in rare style. The most amazing thing that it has different from other websites is chat which is another option for people to discuss about certain matches in live.
I would add ods option in top of website and also would add day mode of template along with current dark one.
Otherwise what can I add more, website is in hands on amazing and experienced staff. Wish you all the best.
3529  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Bankers Say Cryptocurrencies Do Not Threat The Global Financial Stability on: November 26, 2019, 01:43:09 PM
Big Bankers Say Cryptocurrencies Do Not Pose a Threat to Global Financial Stability

Bankers started to get more relaxed towards Bitcoin? Very good.

Bitcoin can be a threat to some of the banking operations, but this will only make the smarter banks evolve better. Bitcoin is clearly no threat to the banks, at least not yet and for quite some more time. This is not because banks are good and Bitcoin is bad, it's because of people's and businesses' inertia and because the legislation favors the banks.

And even if the things get to the point Bitcoin will become a real threat to the banking system, the overall financial stability should not get affected.

So I find the title correct and I'm glad to see they also have found this out. It would be beneficial for Bitcoin to get better connected to financial world and to businesses and for this (unfortunately) we need the banks accept us.
Why do they have to be afraid of bitcoin? Don't you think that banks can turn everything from opposite to benefit?
Well, you use bitcoin and want to convert it in USD because bitcoin's value is decided in USD, bitcoin isn't independent currency in this case, bitcoin doesn't have it's own private, separate value. So you need to exchange them in btc and in this case banks have huge opportunity, they can offer you this service with their visa/master card and make it even more comfortable for you.
Bitcoin isn't old thing that we knew in past, it's now commercial thing, huge business that has huge profit potential.
3530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 Ways to Earn Crypto While You Sleep on: November 26, 2019, 12:01:38 PM
What are the landing websites that you can trust? I have heard https://nexo.io/ but idk how trustworthy they are. Haven't heard anything about CoinLoan and Nuo.
I would stay away from bot trading. The sad fact is that some newbies fall in words AI Trading Bot. In reality bot can't read news and analyze it, following only charts and etc isn't that beneficial, carries risks which I think can ruin your ability to sleep without being nervous.
Also another way I think is to deposit on freebitco and hold for as long as you wish, they deposit interests daily.
3531  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: November 25, 2019, 10:13:26 PM
Don’t pay taxes: govt love taxes! It make them super super wealthy and make you super super poor, govt don’t care if you starve to dead tomorrow, that’s your own fault to be basement dweller, govt rather spam their tweeter with non sense China FUD.
You can't get rid of them.

Don’t get married: get a traditional marriage and get a nasty divorce, your wealth immediately split into half! It is no brainier why marriage is a trap in the modern lifestyle, and your lawyers won’t help you to get rid of divorce, you’re doomed! We know Jeff Bezos can buy the best lawyers on the planet to fight for his rights, yet the status quo court decide to prejudice all is his fault to get into marriage at the first place, you horny you pay the biggest price! This is justice! Smiley
That has nothing to do with your wealth, it all depends on how smartly you'll make decisions.
For example if you are smart and great looking boy/girl and marry on rich an only child, then you can 100% improve your wealth and join the higher class. You can turn situation for your success.
But also at the same time remember family of rockefeller and rothschild. Married but richest ones.

Don’t use bank:
I agree with you there.

But when you say don't invest and don't get a job, it's so wrong. Well, at first there are a lot of young people with very innovative ideas which have lack of money to release them while you can be a great opportunity for them and opposite, they can be a great opportunity for your wealth.
But partly agree you in this: Don't get a job.
Yes, don't get a job, work others for you.
3532  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Antivirus Program that accepts subscriptions using BTC? on: November 25, 2019, 09:19:10 PM
First thing that came to my mind was Antivirus McAfee (company of John McAfee) but no, they don't accept bitcoin (said just for fun).
BitMaxz suggested you newegg. I'll add that another option is to use purse.io (had similar case and people suggested it to me), buy amazon gift card via bitcoin (purse.io gives you discount) and then buy almost any antivirus from amazon.

TryNinja
Antivirus in 2019? I think we are far developed in programming skills compared to old years and now there are better viruses Cheesy
But to be fair we don't need, just don't visit all kind of websites and more likely you'll be safe.
3533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would one pay $7K for Bitcoin if he can get the same thing for $0.001? on: November 25, 2019, 08:37:54 PM
Imagine an electronic producer that pays $10,000 for 1 gram of gold, while in the same time a metal with better electrical properties costs less then a cent.

Imagine a buyer who gives his 5,000 square foot luxury mansion for 10,000 units of fiat money that bank created with only Kia Pride vehicle as a collateral.

Imagine an investor that pays $1,000 for a stock with a book value of $1 and earnings of $0.01, while in the same time he can buy a stock with a book value of $2,000 and earnings of $500 for the same amount of money.

Imagine a guy that pays $1,000 for the Cheeseburger while in the same time he can get the Big Mac for only $1.

The above scenarios would be crazy because no one would trade his thing for something that has thousands or millions time less utility. Nor would someone pay a thousand or a million times more money for the same or even worse thing. That is why the above scenarios are not possible in reality.

But... in the crypto world, they are possible. Take for example bitcoin. People are paying thousands or even million times more for bitcoin than for some altcoins, even though these coins have the same or better utility than bitcoin. Meaning, the same as bitcoin these coins can be transferred easily, fastly, cheaply, safely and transparently to someone. Such coins can be bought for as low as $0.001. Why people in the crypto world pay millions time more for the same thing? Why they behave so irrationally?

With that logic also consider this two example:
1. Imagine a buyer that pays 1000$ in Gucci's sunglasses while he/she can buy absolutely same quality/design glasses in 20$ and lower.
2. Imagine a buyer that buys Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max instead of other cheaper alternatives and in reality he/she doesn't use 90% resources of smartphone.

Don't you think that name also matters too? Brand <-- it's a huge advantage in selling when when you already own this status.
But bitcoin isn't just a thing, it's currency and people look at it as an investment option like stocks for example, that's what makes bitcoin to worth 7000$ and more, also there is mining difficulty factor, in order to make mining profitable, we need higher price.
3534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recent Data Breach: "1.2 billion people exposed" on: November 21, 2019, 11:55:49 PM
Can't understand one thing, if it was data breach, company had to say that during 72 hour and if they are in silence, idk, such thing happens? It's serious breach.
On another hand is it the breach of Alipay? Cause there was news about that and Alipay has 1.2 billion user, you can see article there: http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/2019-10/01/c_138440413.htm
Idk trustworthiness of website but I think in case it's true, is very close to reality.
But it's sad they don't care about our security, they make AIs in order to process all of our data as soon as possible and use for marketing purposes.
3535  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where can I buy fragrancce with bitcoin? on: November 21, 2019, 11:34:35 PM

Thank you for amazing suggestions. I have one question too, can I buy Sephora's gift card from those websites and pay fragrance costs with that while being able to send those fragrance on any US adress? Cause on traditional visa/mastercard method, it requests billing/shipping adresses to match each other.

bitrefill
Oh thank you, I love JC Penney

BitMaxz
I'm looking for original retailers cause for example bought fragrance via amazon for some times and it wasn't the scent which I saw in sephora, huge difference in scent and quality.

mjglqw 1Referee
Is it ok to use purse.io? Cause a lot of people complain that this website is scam and to be fair can't understand which side is right.
3536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Never below 10K again... well that didn't stick - Food for thought on: November 21, 2019, 11:06:25 PM
Personally, I think it's really stupid to ever use the word "never" when it comes to Bitcoin, this is just one example that shows this. When in April (2019) price jump from $4k to $5k in very short time, and when we witnessed the $10k pump, some "experts" were convinced that this was the beginning of a new large pump that would very easily result with new ATH ($20K+). Of course, something like that couldn't have happened, nor would it happen before halving next year.

I'm pretty sure (though I'll never say never), that price will never go below $1000, but I think that even after next ATH (which can be x10), it is still possible to return bellow $10k after correction.

Regarding investing, it makes some sense that even if you buy at $20k (you are theoretically at a loss), by buying after that at low ($3000) you can nullify some losses (in fiat value) if you sell at right time. Bitcoin has always been a smart investment for the long term, it's just a matter of how much money and patience one has to come out as a winner.
Some "experts" also were saying in past that bitcoin will reach 10K, 20K in 1-2 year and they were saying this when price was 400-600$. People were laughing at them, they couldn't imagine if it was possible to reach unreachable 1K, nothing to talk about further rises but seems those "experts" were right.
If bitcoin's price will go below 1000$, it means it will also go down to 100$ and this coin will die which I don't want to happen. To be fair current price of bitcoin still high too, why do we need 20K? Bitcoin at 7k usd easily matches what users need, 20K was what caused huge rise in transactions and also stuck of them in time.
3537  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Canada - Canmore, Calgary, Regina - Seeking stores to pay with Crypto on: November 21, 2019, 10:39:59 PM
So I am going to be taking a roadtrip in early December. These are a few of the places I will be passing through or staying at for a couple days. I'm just curious if anyone out there knows of some restaurants, eateries, retail outlets that accept BTC/LTC for payments.

I figured this would be a cool way to try and utilise crpto in day to day transactions. Google has been no help, mostly just points me to ATM's. I'm not interested in that or in loading up a card to convert to a FIAT payment. Ideally I see myself stopping at a restaurant, ordering up my food, paying and eating while it confirms. That or depending on the store picking up a few odds and ends. So far I saw an older article about a candy shop in Canmore I think accepts crypto, if so that's where some gifts will be bought.

Just thought this would be a fun twist on a roadtrip. I also won't bother loading much coin in my mobile wallet if there is next to no chance I'll be able to spend it.

Side note if you are in Canmore/Banff or Calgary and have Lift tickets for Sunshine Village(Big 3) at a discount rate, let me know.
As far as I remember Darkstar is from canada (if I amn't wrong) and he may knows.
Last year I was in Canada and personally couldn't find word Bitcoin anywhere despite the fact that I was almost digging whole city. But consider my one advice: Even if you find restaurant which accepts bitcoin payments, don't enter directly, better to eat normal food and pay with cash/card.
What about to additionally post on tripadvisor? reddit? Quora?
3538  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Coming Project idea Locked value on: November 21, 2019, 10:01:55 PM
Who Want to start making coin or token with me?

2 ideas:

Stable coin (Locked value ; for example: 500$ is always 500$ value coin.)

Parking coin or token for example; paying with p-coin everywhere around the world.
So one coin or token for Car parking!
Stable coin is good idea but not current ones, they are trashes, they aren't even stable coins.
I think it will be ideal to create such stable coin, a coin which will be always the same in price and I'll explain what I mean.
Imagine with current 1$ and 1 stablecoin you can buy 1 ice-cream. 1 years later usd went down and 1 ice-cream worths 1.10$ now what happens? It still worths 1 stablecoin because we didn't follow to usd fall cause we are stable. Price is fixed, locked, it's separated from USD and is real stable thing.
I'll find my post where I talk about that in a little bit more details and will include link.

Good Luck!

At first the link of picture is just simple Paint edit, it ruins everything already.
Then: There are two websites 1. Cryptocasino 2. Cryptocazino <-- what do you think, which one sounds like legit and which will be priority of people? I think first one.
And then again, you can't start business with nulled scripts or with cheap ones. Just entering codecanyon and buying script isn't an option to run casino. 3540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks Are Never There When You Need Them - That's Why We Need Bitcoin on: November 21, 2019, 09:02:49 PM
Accessibility Problems

I highly doubt you'll have to visit banks everyday or weekly. And when you visit banks, you do it to create bank account, get card, consultation and etc but still a lot of things are done online, you have to visit store when it's really necessary and you have to sign. How is bitcoin capable of changing this process? You can use bitcoin for send/receive, nothing more, bank service is absolutely different case there.

Faulty Lending Systems

Bitcoin can't solve this problem too, in any case when big loan is given, you have to offer collateral.

Infrastructural deficiency

If I want to withdraw money and there are errors popup on atm (which personally I have never had), how bitcoin can save you? It's even more hard to take phone, open wallet, sent amount you want, choose fee and etc.
