3521  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Will Hit New All-Time Highs in 2019: Quoine CEO on: December 05, 2018, 11:04:38 PM
Possible we can say that but to be fair from current situation it's not most likely that will happen. It's very hard to predict price in 2019 but to my mind we can proudly say that after this upcoming halving, bitcoin will really reach it's all-time high. But after all, coin which was able to jump from 10K to 14K in some hours, there is nothing impossible here, btw expect 60K in 2020 instead of 2019.
3522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now consuming 1% of the world's electricity. Is that sustainable? on: December 05, 2018, 09:45:58 PM
We have also to consider that some percent of this energy is green energy. Bitcoin changed life of a lot of people, personally I think we can't blame miners because they consume so much energy. Some may come and say what the hell is bitcoin, why is electricity wasted in such a shit but they don't know economy well, have no imagination what is crypto, what is decentralized system and what is blockchain.
3523  Economy / Economics / Re: The market is looking healthy and greener all over again on: December 05, 2018, 09:13:02 PM
It's a little bit strange what's happening now, as I see everyone was upset because of such fall, then when price felt to 3600 usd, in one day it become more than 4000$. I thought it would be a push which would slowly return bitcoin to it's 6000$ line but somehow price still falls and plays between 3600-3900. Finally price will rise because I highly doubt giant miners will accept these terms for a long time, to my mind they need it currently to cut so hige difficulty.
3524  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Binance's partnership with Chainanalysis to detect "Dirty" Coins.. on: December 04, 2018, 11:20:23 PM
I wouldn't worry about it because it's a very silly idea and the more they try, the harder it will become for them in future. Also if we see some statistics, as far as I remember once bitmixer owner said that there was 1 million coin mixed in a year by using his website, there were and still are popular mixers too, so what do they want to tell us? They won't accept 9 coin from 10? Theybar every illogical + we have monero if they haven't heared about that.
3525  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What Do You Think About This? on: December 04, 2018, 09:35:18 PM
I would change template as soon as possible, it's very old and unattractive style, currently responsive templates are popular, you can find a lot of amazing templates on themeforest and they aren't expensive.

Petehumphreys
Wait, does it really matters for similar website to have an https adress? Are you joking? OP you don't need ssl certificate. On another hand user above me suggested you what to do, wish success.
3526  Other / Meta / Re: Why are FUD-trolls allowed to open 4 topics per day? on: December 04, 2018, 08:41:16 PM
I'm thinking about freightjoe for example: Why are FUD-trolls allowed to open 4 topics on a day, meanwhile spamming the same FUD in many other topics? Why is this allowed on Bitcointalk? I mean, if you don't like Audi, you don't go to an Audi forum and open 4 topics about how much you dislike it per day, right? Why is it allowed to do that here?

I can only think of a few reasons for doing this: someone is getting paid to do this (as part of a FUD campaign in the media from some "established parties" against crypto), or someone is trolling because he missed the boat and hopes to buy more cheaper, or just shorting Bitcoin. Whatever the reason is, I think it's toxic to this community.

Each of his topics quickly grows to a few pages because of the generic signature spammers, so his FUD gets all the exposure he needs.
So again, my question is: why is this allowed? I know this forum values freedom of speech, but can't his FUD be restricted to just one topic? Let it grow into a Spam Megathread instead of spamming several boards on a daily basis.
This man has a serious mental problems and needs to be treated as soon as possible. Just see his threads and you'll understand why...
I would second this: someone is getting paid to do this. Personally I wouldn't wish to limit this user to open threads but I think it will be better if we ban him and remove his account from this forum.
3527  Economy / Economics / Re: How will the crypto market respond to the latest bitcoin? on: December 04, 2018, 03:56:27 PM
Hello community. How will the market react to the fact that bitcoin mining is stopped and all BTC are mined? Share opinions.
Personally I have a lot of questions on what will happen when 21 million bitcoin will be mined, if the only question you have left without answer is that, then I am amazed. Also if we consider that some bitcoind are lost or will be lost in futurr. react may change time by time according to supply and demand.
Btw what will happen once all coin will be mined? Miners only profit will be fees collected from transaction confirmations, this leads me to believe price will be huge by that time.
3528  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do BTC miners sell their BTC on: December 04, 2018, 02:31:52 PM
I represent a Swiss based Exchange which is having a Banking license to accept Fiat money in return for crypto ( passed all regulations ). One of the biggest problems we envision is the ability to source BTC to buyers. (Most of our buyers are institutional investors based out of Swiss).

Would like to know how currently miners sell their BTC and what is the Incentive for them to come onboard our exchange/OTC place like ours.
I know one small exchanger owned by bank which has contract with bitfury and exchange coins this way but also as far as I know you can be like a middleman and offer service to local customers through big exchangers. Big miners have contracts with others, some local companies offer special rate for those who have much btc. Small miners always use well known exchangers: binance, coinbase, xapo and etc.
3529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinDesk says - Crypto Winter Is Here and We Only Have Ourselves to Blame on: December 04, 2018, 01:48:43 PM
He isn't wrong on his point, everyone seems to be too obsessed on the price in USD that we tend to forget on enhancing the fundamentals and have focused more on value. As such, we have this wild fluctuations in price leading to profits and losses, and the big guys have seen this as a weakness and have exploited the said weakness up to its core, causing the market to be highly unstable. If we want to move forward, we need to create more platforms, services etc. that's bitcoin-centric (or somewhat focuses more on bitcoin) in order to relieve the notion that most are after USD ultimately, and to have a wider use-case for bitcoin and crypto, not only for speculation.
Agree, he is right because we only prioritize btc's value in usd, on another hand don't care on this coin. But also as you say we have to create more bitcoin based services and platforms to have a wider user-case for bitcoin, how will bitcoin handle it? For example I mean transactions, when price was 10K and higher, you know how hard it was to get confirmation and how much fees we had to pay. I think bitcoin isn't a coin which can be used massively.
3530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We Try to Make a Bitcoin Replay, Join Us! on: December 04, 2018, 12:10:48 PM
Would really wish the day when bitcoin was firstly created and I was the one too among some people who knew about it. But OP, what do you think, can this happen today when people know crypto world well? I think they aren't looking for analogues of bitcoin but something new that will be different from btc, ethereum and etc. I can only imagine not same but similar situation on new coin with unique possibilities.
3531  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★MyDiceBot★ - v6.0.0 | 18.12.03 | Windows/Mac/Linux | official site updated on: December 04, 2018, 11:40:08 AM
OP don't get it wrong but almost in one month you released v6 version of your bot. I think it would be better if you released a little bit complete version from the begining. On another hand you know people like UI of your bot, it's really nice.
Well, I would prefer a little bit long wait and stable version over weekly releases, you know your job... Wish you success.
3532  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what are the things to consider when looking for a good exchange? on: December 04, 2018, 11:05:57 AM
OP everyone has it's own customers, that's the reason why they exist and have impact on bitcoin's price. To be fair it doesn't matter how others choose exchangers, btw common that everyone has to consider is safety, good support and fast transactions. Other factors have to satisfy you and exchanger's functions have to suit your requirements.
3533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why its still worth mining ETH ( or other coins) for me on: December 04, 2018, 10:34:02 AM
You can mine more profitable coin, exchange it on ethereum and hold this way, you will get absolutely more ethereum compared to eth mining.

People always say this. It may well be true, but make sure you account for initial pool fees, transfer from more profitable shitcoinX wallet to exchange fees, exchange commission and withdraw fees.

You'll need to research your new coin and algo, find the best wallet option (balancing risk of webwallets vs downloading an entire blockchain to your desktop), and then spend hours on several exchanges working out which pairs offer the optimum volume and yield.

Also you'll potentially need to tweak the bios mods you've done for the new algo, as well as experiment with driver/miner/bios combos to find the most stable setup.

In short, once you've done the maths you'll find only a few pennies a week difference, and that's only before every other **** does the same thing and shitcoinX difficulty rockets.
I know what difficulties it has to move from one coin mining on another coin mining when you have modified everything on that one coin but I would say again that it worths when mining of another coin is for example 20% more profitable. Of course you have to consider pool, withdraw and exchange fees but finally they aren't that much. Well, to sum up move must be profitable.
OP wish you success in anyway. Do you plan to hold ethereum now? Since you mine currently more eth?
3534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: December 03, 2018, 09:31:50 PM
that's because it depends on hope for luck, not on the information that is obtained. well, trading is a bit like gambling. if you do it without information, or without other preparations, of course it will be very difficult for us.
Well, can you tell me which information can help you in gambling? Or what games do you mean here? Btw I would say nothing can help you in roulette, only luck but when you start playing it, from this step it's unlucky choise.
If you say your luck is bad, then take a friend who will do opposite with much more money, after all you both may say you are still unlucky. Btw do you know how you profit while trading? It happens because other looses.
3535  Economy / Economics / Re: Block Chain eliminates regulators on: December 03, 2018, 06:37:49 PM
I always wonder what might be the reason of centralised authorities not accepting the power of Decentralization and then found the reason,if so decentralization becomes the only means for the transactions then most of the regulators and authorities might be jobless and so they are putting maximum to let down this technology by creating a hype that all the crypto currencies are scam and you can making nothing out of them investing,so we Crypto enthusiasts need to put our maximum efforts to empower decentralization .
Well, blockchain technologies are well accepted for governments, it's integrating in a lot of services, both from governments (for example land registry) and from commercial/non commercial organizations. Walmart is integrating BC technologies and etc, read articles on cointelegraph.
And government don't like crypto because they can't control it, this is not so hard to understand.
3536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On what kind of gambling you got maximum reward from betting? on: December 03, 2018, 05:54:45 PM
We have lot of games in gambling and each have different kind of probability of winning and their rewards also depends upon the probability level so on which game you got your maximum reward in signle bet?

for me I found horse racing is where the big money to be made , especially if you have access to fiat sites that have something called BOG and have a lot of friends to create accounts for you in case you get limited
if you are good or at least following good guys then easily you can get over 10% ROI  , I find it really hard to even get a close ROI to that with other sports or other types of gambling

but if there is no BOG it becomes a little bit more hard to reach that ROI
It's old post but the reason why I quote this is that I can repeat the same. Have heared from many people that betting on horse racing is great too, I don't say you'll profit, just have heared same thing what this user posted.
Personally for me betting on soccer was most profitable, when you watch almost every match of some leagues like la league, premier league and etc, makes prediction a lot easier. On another hand betting on basketball was somehow good too, I want to mention live betting on simple teams.
3537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction not exist in blockchain.info but in btc.com on: November 29, 2018, 09:49:33 PM
I don't know whats wrong but you should just wait it, it can be fee is too low, you can try use free transaction accelerator from antpool or viabtc or just wait it, if the transaction failed then the balance should be back to sender address.
You can try to-rebroadcast it if your wallet support it, but looks like no.

Thanks for the help, I try to use online pushtx tools by enter raw transaction hex, but it seems no use ..
That's not a bug of blockchain.info, rarely but sometimes happens that. Btw personally I use blocktrail, like their UI and functions.
If you want to accelerate transaction and I highly believe you used these kind of service https://www.blockchain.com/btc/pushtx I want to say that they can't help you the way you think. For quick results, there are only two accelerator which I know where you have to submit your transaction's id, they are: Viabtc's accelerator and pushtx.btc.com
3538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What to mine on gtx 1070 rig? on: November 29, 2018, 10:41:17 AM
You are welcome, glad someone see with gtx 1070 instead of rx 480/580, great choise mate. Just visit website whattomine.com and choose your card, type how much do you pay in energy and etc you know...
Currently HavenProtocol(XHV) is the most profitable coin you can mine, second one is nicehash. Currently I would choose nicehash, collect profit in btc and hold it, well, that's my choise because I think btc will rise in following days.
3539  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Ideal cryptocurrency exchange - how it should look like? on: November 29, 2018, 09:56:15 AM
Hello! There are hundreds, if not thousands of cryptocurrencies exchanges.
However, I still can t find a crypto exchange, which fits to all my needs.
What do you need from cryptocurrencies exchange? Can you post it here?

I will post my thoughts below. Our investment fund wants to develop our own cryptocurrencies exchange.

User above me mentioned correctly, people aren't asking much. Personally for me speed and security is N1, it's a shame when exchanger claims they got hacked or etc. Another thing would be live support like amazon has and in amazon I mean how amazingly they work in support. If it won't be live, at least questions has to be answered and not ignored. Oh, also they mustn't stuck my transactions for a long time because of it's high value.
I don't know how serious people are around you but if you want to be better than other top exchangers it will be very hard, be ready for it. Wish luck... Would love to read what you lack from exchangers if they aren't similar of mine.
3540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Todays reality..BTC price $3,600 on: November 28, 2018, 11:15:33 PM
Today's reality is tomorrow's shadow. Everything will go well and I think we will quickly return to 6000$ price range, it wouldn't fall below 2000 because it would really be a fatal, I think the fact that bitcoin ended up positively today means a lot, it's still very early to say anything but as I situation always goins in a very positive way, this coin is really amazing.
