3541  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Announcing BPIP - The Bitcointalk Public Information Project! on: October 25, 2018, 08:23:19 AM
I often make long lists of users, linking to their BPIP profile for quick review. Example:
The first link works, the second doesn't, because the profile is archived.
Request @Vod: Is it possible to create a link that always works, even if it's archived?

I notice that some time ago but..
Just to note here, it's funny but the bug with the link to the archived users is actually a nice feature.
If the newbie is banned (and archived) the link leads to the homepage, so I don't need to look more if the guy is banned Cheesy

The parser is down. The light around the (i) is gone. I'll update if I see it up again.

So sad that it's outdated now. I almost forgot about it.
3543  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: if theymos die what happen ? on: October 25, 2018, 06:34:20 AM
There are two admins at the moment, (I wish them a long life). In case of emergency, there is always someone to take over.

Hi, freak! You are doing a bad business, doing bad things to people! Because of you, bastard, I lost my account! I wish that you are dead and that all your relatives are dead! Burn in hell!

Hello fucker angry user, you lost your account because of you. Veleor is not copy/pasting right? So blaming the police for getting busted is not gonna help you.
There is no place for you here. Au revoir!

so this project and all of its "users" need to be banned?Huh I'm lost! I have posted here and you posting this is telling me to just piss off! How are we supposes to learn about new alts. Now from my understanding is you want to do a way with alts. Has the project dev. Bitcoin.Supreme been banned?

Please educate me

It is very simple, if you have posted your own content without copy/pasting or replacing characters with a homograph ones (see for reference here) then you are on  the safe side. Not all users posting in a specific thread are going to be banned, just those who break the rules.
Another thing, if you see your name in a list here this doesn't you are guilty for something, no. We make lists with potential spamming users for a manual review, but there were people like theymos, Welsh, LoyceV, even I was on a few lists, it's just an automatically collected raw data, which we process manually.

Look what I found in the Bounty section :

Here is the worst bot bumping thread I've ever seen ...
I've seen much worse than that, it has only 23 pages.
~

I mean the contents is really bad mostly automatically translated, it's not a big thread for sure.

Thank for the list

Another case, this time is not a Legend, just a Jr. coming closer to Member I was about to give merit to but some of the posts are a bit suspicious. I really hope he wrote them based on his knowledge and not the ability to copy/spin/paste the text.

I've seen this user. Sounds genuine to me but I'll dig around.

I gave him 1 merit today for one good post, better to give it away to someone that have 4-5 good posts than to keep it unspent.

@LoyceV I'll need a list of all the accounts, seems like many are multiposting  there.

Interesting story for sure, but there's something fishy.
To many weird stuff here, buying newbie account only to post this is ringing the bell...
Why???
3550  Other / Meta / Re: Good day I would like to appeal my banned account. on: October 24, 2018, 02:05:26 PM
I lost count how many are coming here every day to appeal.
We have pushed people to report and now this is the result. Great work.

@OP things are changing in good direction, but you missed the chance to be part of the good forum.
3551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investment in tokens of a start-up ICO on: October 24, 2018, 01:19:50 PM
Move this thread to the Altcoin Section or the Beginners and Help.
There is no place for ICO/tokens in the Bitcoin section.
Just find the "move" button in the bottom left corner, and choose the right section.

I have been F5 the page constantly, but no drop down box at all Sad

Check the address you sent the coins to, be sure it's the same as on the purchase page.
It can take a while, I never purchased Copper Membership but I can guess that it takes some time.

I just want to know how to get merits. Many posts but no merits. That's me.
You are totally off-topic here..
3553  Other / Meta / Re: Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images on: October 24, 2018, 12:24:42 PM
Hi, I paid for the Copper Membership 20 mins ago, when will it be activated?
You have to activate it yourself >
Is “copper member” displayed when someone pays the fee? If so do they retain he title after they have sufficient activity to become a “member”?

Once you have it, you get the choice:

Now it's OK, the weird thing is that I got 3 notifications for the same (your) post,
The first was with OK formatting the other two were a bit off.

Note> I received notification for my own post, I remember that there were some discussions sometime ago about this but don't remember the final conclusion, that's why I mentioned it here for info.

Great news Smiley

Just a small note:
The formatting of the notification messages is a bit wrong.

iasenko, you have been mentioned in the following messages:

3557  Other / Meta / Re: Can Forum Create Bot Which Recommend For Merit on: October 24, 2018, 07:20:48 AM
We already have bots who post for merit, copy-pasting content from internet and spin it trough article snipers, those a almost impossible to proof but easy to detect for a human. I'm not really sure that a bot/AI could be a good idea for those posts.

The quality content is so subjective matter that is impossible to create something like this and it's not needed, it's fine like this and it's getting better.
3558  Other / Meta / Re: Can we establish a division for posters according to their quality? on: October 24, 2018, 05:25:58 AM
I don't see the need for this, quick look at the user stats gives you enough overview of the profile. It gives you no new information that the one you can find yourself by observing.
If you have the post count enabled for all the users with just a quick view you know what type of poster you are looking on.
3559  Other / Meta / Re: Artificial Intelligence on BitcoinTalk?? on: October 23, 2018, 06:17:29 PM
Anyone have more insight on this topic.  Would be interested to see if there is any 'liberated' AI able to post on different message boards, etc.

Yeah, we have pretty sophisticated AI you can almost mistake for a human. Just look for LoyceV.
     You want proof, OK.

The question that come to my mind is how much smerit a source could give in a row/repetitively without receiving (silly) remarks?

Another proof that you are an AI .
No human can give merit to 4 different users in one second.
Just curious how did you manage all this in one second??
