3541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Historical prices of bitcoin on: October 01, 2020, 10:17:44 PM

price history seem to indicate its going to keep climbing. if you are not a holder, the best thing to do is just keep looking for opportunities and forsee when its going to drop because almost every time, BTC drops giving everyone a chance.

just like today when Bitmex founder Hayes got arrested and seem like they are going to encounter hard times. the price dips and although its not that deep, its still a good chance. it may actually go below it soon. well hopefully Smiley
3542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DEFI] UNICAP - Collateralized Swap Token UCAP Reliability, Transparency. on: September 30, 2020, 09:16:34 PM
everything looks strange so far, why in the fund "insurance" iq cash? also ethereum not etherIum.So the lists of exchanges now look not convincing.

A lot of odd things like it and I don't see the development team responding to your question. you should look to their telegram group for the answer.

No development team. Social media links on telegram lead to barely relevant content...  Huh
Their website says that PrePublic Level 1 stage has 5 investors from Russia only so far... minimum investment is 1k.

Also,
Shouldn't it be open source?

it looks scam already. this phishing attempt is just one of the warning that its not to be trusted with your minimum investment.

Сollateralized Swap Token UCAP

Project by FINEXPO.org

the iqcash is a scam itself and was also created by FINEXPO, this team had been acting very suspiciously in the past. price of Iqcash was dumped just like the project who did an IEO on questionable exchanges. shouldn't they provide github link?

3543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worthwhile to trade the cryptocurrency on IQ Option? on: September 29, 2020, 08:22:18 PM
now that futures and margin is common on crypto trading platform, i don't think binary will still get the amount of attraction like back when sencondstrade was active. you'd better be on margin trading than on binary trading, its almost similar bit with margin trading you can potentially earn more with 100x leverage.  you take a look at the whole view since its just predicting which way the market goes at certain time.
3544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you usually find new coins? on: September 29, 2020, 06:52:00 PM

there are tons of coins created almost everyday, you just can't find it here in the forum and on coingecoko or coinmarketcap. some of them are just within their platform. you may not find them legit sometimes but if its listed on the exchange where minotored by the platform itself, then most likely its real.

TRON platform have more tokens listed in polo and often announced on TRON apps. Dappradar is just on platform that shows new coins available.
3545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tron (TRX) Ever Reach $5? on: September 29, 2020, 06:43:00 AM
don't believe such kind of predictions. Often there are some people start rumoring about their project behalf of team. So that they can draw investors concentration on their project and pump the crypto they own. no doubt tron ranked by top position, has good demand and already has huge trade volume. But it need to have volume like btc even more to reach that high price you mentioned, don't think its ever possible

the defi trend will help its volume to grow. tje volume as of now i think is bigger actually thats why it still rank on top.

users see it as centralized but theres not much different to some centralized project if you look at it that way. EOS and ripple are also represented this way. but their prices still is more than 10cents. TRX for $5 though is almost too much to ask.

3546  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Sets Record 63 Straight Days Closing Above $10,000 on: September 29, 2020, 06:20:56 AM
yet its been dead several times in the past. is 62 days a confirmation that it wont dip again below it?

its still going to be fun to see it dip though. we're not in a hurry to break the ATH too early anyway. if it will took another year or two allowing the economy to stabilized and after pandemic, it will be fair for those new comers in crypto.
3547  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin exchange detected a large withdrawal. Provably Hacked? on: September 28, 2020, 06:55:48 PM

its never too late to advice them to move to the non custodial exchanges. too big of a loss, do you think Kucoin will stop its operation because of this hack like for good like the cryptopia and so?

if they have the funds, there is no stopping them from with drawing the balance. did the exchange already announce that they will give back what was lost from their partisans?
3548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government figures or politicians supporting Bitcoin? on: September 28, 2020, 06:20:17 PM
Which politicians support Bitcoin? Do you think world leaders will embrace crypto/Blockchain tech at its fullest? Or will they go against it? What impact will mainstream politics have in the future direction of Bitcoin? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

I think we need to be realistic, in particular when it comes to politicians and which side they favour. We all know that people have their own agendas and if a government figure backs up something it is usually because they have a stake in it, or they think is what the majority would like to hear. Nothing but false pretences.

What would be interesting to see is what type of active engagement these people take to support their cause, in this case their 'alliance' to crypto. Only then can we put more trust into what these people are saying, let the evidence speak for itself.
Government supports what is beneficial for them to support.

of course! they may even have more BTC on their wallets right now than some of the Bitcoin casinos operating today. if you own a bag of BTC you would likely want the price to go up and will likely act like the shill accounts promoting their shitcoin. if i am a politician from israel, i would probably be buying as much as i can while also promoting to comrades.

before the world discovers that governments print bills tirelessly everyday, they should all be buying BTC.
3549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Premined bitcoin? on: September 27, 2020, 10:31:31 PM

kinda of a fud again about BTC despite it being widely accepted already after a decade. its this time that most of the big guys wants to price to drop seriously in order to fill their bags. but its all been done before. somehow it always open a discussion that many will consider a valid argument.

but who else wanted to see him dump his 1.3M BTC? it would still be fun to see this happen if satoshi still has his keys.
3550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: September 26, 2020, 09:29:02 PM

nice manny. a huge portion of the money goes to pandemic victims. probably just buy more vaccines by the time of the fight, i believe vaccine will already be available. win or lose manny will still be the people's champ. i'm curious how much are they talking to arrange this fight.

Is it official? Another money making for McGregor but we surely know that Pacquiao will won this since it's a boxing match and not an MMA it would be really a disgrace for a legendary boxing fighter to be get lose from an MMA fighter since boxing is his specialty.

there were interviews about it, i suppose its true. no tweets so far from both.
3551  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet shutdowns by governments are bad for corporate marketing on: September 26, 2020, 06:39:27 PM
Government don't shutdown the internet on the whole country, they are doing it in the particular region right? So not much of the economic activities are going to get affected and internet has been shutdown normally to stop the communication between local people and outside people so no one other than people there knows exactly what is happening and this is normally implemented in tension between military and locals.

You're asking a strange question because, for instance, I can't recall a case in the EU where the Internet was shut down. It would paralyze the banking system because it wuold stop ATMs and electronic payments and as a result paralyze the country. Even politicians know they'd be affected by not being able to pay for a hotel room or a rented car with their card, unable to buy plane tickets and fly home to their families. There's not going to be any Internet shutdown in any country that isn't run by a crazy regime like North Korea or Venezuela.

it sounded very related to politics. it would be very political if most of the owner of the internet service providers are pretty much very vocal about their position to the sitting president of the country.

its such unfortunate if the reason is business competition that the internet is shutdown. i doubt they will do all these when there is crisis.
politics is dirty and if its in US then shutting down mobile internet is crucial for Trump this election because he is also one of the president who uses social media to gain popularity.
3552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UniDapp - scam project or not who knows.. decide you! on: September 26, 2020, 04:43:01 PM

providing the github is important because its the way to see whether they didn't just copy their protocols from uniswap. but basically unidapp looks very similar. they even have v1 and we dont have any idea what was in it or if it was even used before and then upgrade to v2.  Grin

base on the info https://uniswap.info/pair/0xf43ec5a69164cab9b51855ec4ce6b948788f5312
they do have $20k volume a day which is a good start. should we buy or not, its the risk to take  Grin
3553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Raids and kids involving spider betting. on: September 24, 2020, 09:51:26 PM
Spiders are so tiny, sounds funny but I guess it fits for kids.    Sounds similar to coin throw or marble game people bet on sometimes and when I was younger we just did cards for small amounts.    People will always bet on something as risk is a natural factor in life, the government only misses out on possible revenue and taxes by not regulating the industry and providing some positive to oversight rather attempting to prevent the idea and achieving little.

not the risk of losing life thru this pandemic though. we can bet just about as much as we'd like but life is just too precious to lose. spiders can multiply more than a hundred to a thousand when its mother lays eggs but for a parent losing a kid is just terrible and all because a spider betting event.

this is as stupid as those college students who risk their lives to bet who will catch corona virus the first thru covid parties. i don't know if you have heard of this news.
3554  Other / Off-topic / Re: SUICIDE IS FOR COWARDS on: September 24, 2020, 09:30:55 PM

you could never know what a man had gone through before they come up with suicide solution. if someone killed himself because they can't bear the sadness, you wouldn't know how his mind worked during that very moment. this is why its recommended to talk to someone. he probably didn't think of it as a solution. or probably don't wanna die on the lonely place like retirement home.

japanese are known to kill themselves when their business failed. i've had a neighbor who hang himself. he seem happy saying hi and hello whenever is see him.
3555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: European Commission officially proposes regulatory framework for crypto-assets on: September 24, 2020, 08:53:15 PM
Quote
appears to imply that they have no plans to attempt to regulate protocols like Bitcoin, aside from the usual AML stuff.  The focus will definitely be on the stablecoins that claim to be backed by fiat or other assets, because this is the part that requires trust.  Trust can be abused, therefore requiring regulation around consumer protection.

In essence, protocols can't lie.  Companies can (and often do).

Exactly, this is gonna hamper the stablecoins the most. It is pointless to putforth regulations on bitcoin or any framework associated with it. They just can't control the borderless assets ! Unlike the stablecoins which will have fiat regulations imposed on them and any trade that happens or in a holding will be more or less fiat currency! So that goes to centralised framework.

This will definitely have positive impact on the investors but could be unhappy movement for those who thought they will hide their taxes and also earn plenty of good interest rates through stablecoin holdings. Since lot of people do think it's better to put money in them rather than getting low % in the savings account.

But such regulations will now put them in ambiguity unless they dont have any problems with exposed investment.

they can make the company who created the stablecoins be accountable. there is nothing more to check on BTC.
there was a youtube channel i have watched just recently which is related to this regulatory framework which in order for it to be regulated, traders will have to trade their BTC to stablecoins first before cashing out to fiat. this is sort of what he said in that video but its a centralized framework for sure.
3556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Raids and kids involving spider betting. on: September 24, 2020, 08:34:24 PM
Spider bet!!! Sounds really ridiculous.  In the end, we are betting on spiders! This is really very ridiculous. Although it sounds ridiculous to hear, there are reasons for concern here.  It's really scary news for the future that little boys are getting involved in gambling.  At the age when they will be busy with field games, at that age they will be busy with spider betting.  Can anyone guarantee that they will not gamble in the future?

What if they dont have other games to play or toys and spider betting is the only way to be entertained. Remember what were you doing in your childhood when you were bored. Im sure that those who wrote here that these kids must be punished and gambling at their age is bad and can turn into addiction in future, had made worse things during their childhood. For these kids, spider betting is a sort of social competing.

there are worse gambling games we do when we were kids. apart from flipping coins and spider fights, we also bet to guess the dates like year when the coin was made. coins normally have year like 1990, 1995, 1998 and so on. we bet it on our palms and just bet and open the coin to check the year. spider fight is normal when you are in the Philippines. playing cards or mahjong is learned by kids as early as 12 in my town. but i guess it changed these days. this was back when there is no internet yet.
3557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi - the niche within a niche and incredibly small community on: September 23, 2020, 05:59:38 PM

defi tokens are already in the market that anyone who has interest can invest to it to join the number of investors who enjoys its benefit. i don't think it will be problem for you if you just join at the right time. while every tokens right now dips including btc, it must be a heaven's sign for you to jump into the project if you plan to profit in the long run.  if there is something to gain, it should just be taken advantage than just ignoring the possibilities.

the community is not going to stay as small as it was after the dip. the people in the DEX community are often just small but after defi protocols had been developed, the daily volume of the market reaches up to billions of USD. uniswap is an example of this.
3558  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Privileges as Hostage: How it could Push Countries Toward China on: September 23, 2020, 05:12:56 PM
All right, so the Philippines will be stripped of its Generalized Scheme of Preferences Plus (GSP+) tariff privileges by the European Union (EU). The reason is that the EU finds the human rights situation in the country disturbing and so to make sure the country will do something about it they need to impose a harsh economic penalty.

The EU is facing a budget shortfall following the exodus of the UK under #brexit. Tax hikes often naturally follow.

The philippines (and other nations, I would guess) were selected to fill the gap. It could be related to the philippines opposing china's expansion in the south china sea as some have said.

After former philippine President Ferdinand Marcos passed away in 1989. The billions of dollars his administration stole were never found. IMO the funds were likely stashed in an offshore tax haven. To a certain degree this reality could reflect why Duterte and many other world leaders implement certain policy decisions which are unpopular, unsupported and not understood by the majority of people.

Philippines is not opposing Chinas expansion, Duterte even wants to be part of the one belt road which is why Chinese government is providing assistance. and there is no filling the gap here. rappler news is not true. this is all propaganda of the liberals who can;t stand duterte being the winner in politics.   Grin

here is  maria ressa's bullshit tweet about it. https://twitter.com/mariaressa/status/1307277038361784321

she lost a made up case as neuman said. made up?  Grin she can't even provide details of her tax and the publication her rappler news as being the evidence of her libel is not made up.

3559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Downfall of dia data (DeFi) on: September 23, 2020, 05:04:32 PM
I think it's not a downfall because if we compare the DIA price in their IDO days it's still high and currently traded at $1.45 up by 7 percent I think its a simple market correction and not yet a downfall, I believe that DIA price today is a good buying level because it was already corrected by the market so maybe the trend will be positive for DIA in the coming days.

well its because they have distributed the bounty tokens said the users in the first page. i think its really what makes token dip as most of the time bounty hunters will cash out what they earn. if i was a holder i would also be selling the tokens too before the bounty hunters get their allocated tokens.

it will take weeks to months for its recovery but i think the project that is related to providing oracle like this DIA DATA will still have much room for its growth.
3560  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Privileges as Hostage: How it could Push Countries Toward China on: September 23, 2020, 08:35:09 AM
this is a fake news actually. Its not EU that sanctions this, they can't do this. its just the faction of EU, some douchebag who just suggested to EU to sanction Philippines to its tariff and Filipinos also listen when in fact the law can't allow this. rappler and all the media in the Philippines are all owned by the bastards yellow who thinks they are the ones telling the truth. THIS IS FAKE NEWS.

EU would never do that in times of Crisis. don't listen to this bullshit.
I tend to agree with you by this statement.
I don't really think the EU has to do something between China and the Philippines. Think first, the Philippines is an independent country. Probably I have doubt that it could be they are just igniting a fire. It seems like the EU is doing something under the table just to be able to be even with their competition. However, China is getting better. To the point that even the EU would create these kinds of penalties.

I'm also not sure why does EU did not investigate further regarding the running admin that the Philippines had. It seems like their puppets has been disconnected from their previous powers and were replace to something that they cannot control, IMO.

its not related to china however.

its about maria ressa the CEO of rappler.com that spreads lies. She has libel case for spreading lies to an individual in the philippines. now trying to convince Nuemann a MEMBER of European Parliamentary to file a resolution threatening trade sanction against Philippines if the cases against her isn't withdrawn.  its CASES because she also have tax evasion case and more which are proven to be true.

THIS WHY MARIA RESSA spreads this fake NEWS through that RAPPLER.com which is also the publication used for libel.
