There seem to be 51 ASICs still left in stock, which is odd considering there were only 11 when I checked like 3 hours ago..
People will hold them up without paying for them, so they go out of stock for 15 minutes until the transaction is cancelled. |

You might want to decide on an upper limit of how many you are going to purchase.
Imagine how hard things could be if you end up buying 100 units.

Do you have proper cooling for these. These are going to output a LOT of heat.
Well, I'm running about 5,000 watts of GPUs right now (which will be turned off and sold when the Avalon's get here). If worse comes to worse, I will buy a portable AC or something similar. |

My point is more along the lines of, if Coinhoarder is unavailable for a long period, many things may be affected, such as power could stay off, and miners stay idle, or dividends are not paid while Coinhoarder is in traction, etc.... it would be nice if Coinhoarder was not in this as a total lone wolf....
agreed. i am sure there are several people here that are willing and able to offer support. like he said we will discuss this after the ordering craze is done Yes, we will discuss all potential problems and their solutions later. I do not expect anything to happen though... should just be able to turn on the Avalons and get to mining. |

Give some thought to this - what would happen if Coinhoarder is hit by a truck and in a hospital for several weeks, and the avalons need care and feeding? ----- one by one they need to be rebooted, etc...  Is there an alternate Coinhoarder to run the equipment? I will try to plan for every possible problem. We will all talk in detail about these things over the next month while we wait for our Avalon. |

And his fees should support him but it includes electricity not exactly sure.
His 3% is after electricity costs, as I understand it. I calculated that at current difficulty and price, that would be about $90 per day for 6 Avalons. That is correct. I am not going to get super rich from this, especially as difficulty rises. It's just enough to make it worth doing. |

It's amazing how we're ordering so many units. This is really great and it allows ordinary investors like me (only 1 btc) get a chance to help the bitcoin network. Otherwise only big time investors could get a share.
