^^ Even Joe himself said in a tweet that it hurts him to be traded as he has call Utah his home for the last 8 years. But no one is untouchable in this league, if the management feels you are a liability then you are going to be traded.

And we could say that he is one of the fan favorites in Utah, and for sure they are going to miss him.
Its the same situation as what happened to Ricky Rubio. When he got the season-ending injury, the Cavaliers traded him immediately and got Rajon Rondo which is right now a perfect fit for the team.

I think that both the Cavaliers and the Jazz are doing it because they are a playoff contender and they want their roster as healthy as possible. Well, no one is safe when it comes to trade. Anybody can be traded. Getting traded really hurts for both the team and the player themselves but its part of the game and they must live with it.

The 3-way trade:
Quote
Utah receives:
* Nickeil Alexander-Walker (via Portland)
* Juancho Hernangomez (via San Antonio)

Portland receives:
* Joe Ingles (via Utah)
* Elijah Hughes (via Utah)
* Second-round pick (via Utah)

San Antonio receives:
* Tomas Satoransky (via Portland)
* Second-round pick (via Utah)
^ I think Utah wins this one.
Since Ingles is injured with this trade, I agree that the Jazz won the trade even though the players involved in this trade aren't that popular aside from Ingles.
Now that McCollum got traded to New Orleans, I think its safe to say that the Trail Blazers are in a rebuilding phase isn't it?? Maybe next year we might see Lillard leaving the team too. There are rumors already during last off-season regarding this but he chose to stay with the team.

Phoenix Suns are really like unstoppable in this season. They are even better than their performance in last season now. They seem to be very eager about winning the title at least for once. They were so close to making it last season but they stumbled against Milwaukee Bucks in the finals. But it was still a huge achievement for them and a good signal for the future. And it is really invaluable to see them this determined right after a solid season like that. Let's see if they will make it this time.

I don't have the confidence that they will be able to keep up when it comes to the playoffs.  Booker is becoming a star, but he's not quite there yet and Chris Paul is aging and injury prone.  I think their playoff success last year was mostly due to facing injured teams, but Ayton did make the difference.  If Ayton can stay healthy and play like he did last postseason, they have a decent shot at getting to the Western Finals.  I think of the Suns a bit like the Jazz right now.  They're both great teams, but they lack that one thing that will be able to carry them through a series with a healthy Warriors or Lakers team.  I think it's going to come down to the Bucks/Bulls/Nets in the East and the Lakers/Warriors in the west.  If everyone was healthy...
They have all the pieces that is enough for them to reach the WCF but I think I will agree with you that I don't think that they are on the spot where they will win the championship. We've seen many teams that are dominating the regular season but didn't got the ring and one of them is the 73-9 Warriors though they reached the Finals.

With regards to CP3, the only injury that he is facing is the shoulder and his hamstring but this season he is very healthy all throughout and I hope that he will continue to be like that until the playoffs. No load management for him unlike other all-star players or maybe he will when the playoffs comes near since right now they are in a good position. With regards to the teams which will battle in both the east and west, for me its safe to say that the Lakers will enter the playoffs maybe but to win the WCF.. hmmm not even though the whole Lakers are healthy, there is the Warriors and the Suns. Maybe Warriors and Suns are the ones who will match up in WCF (my prediction) and in the east? Nets with a healthy Durant, Irving and a vaccinated Irving and the Bucks/76ers for me are the ones who will match up in ECF.
3563  Economy / Economics / Re: PEOPLE DURING THE PANDEMIC. on: February 09, 2022, 04:05:40 PM
The year 2021 has passed but it has left a mark that will never be erased in people’s minds. One of these is the pandemic that until now has not been ended and is being cured. Many of the entrepreneurs went bankrupt and closed their businesses. And many employees in various industries have lost their jobs. But even though the past year has been difficult for everyone, the people are still positive and resilient and will not lose hope of recovering.
I've seen numerous establishments especially those small and medium enterprises and businesses closing down because of bankruptcy due to this pandemic and I feel sorry for them. While watching news I was like "Ohhh f*ck this pandemic. It affected so much lives". On the other hand though, we've seen people did their everything just to survive. We've seen how resilient people are in times of pandemic and its good to see that even though we are in the pandemic last year, I still see some people smiling and thanking everyday because they are still surviving in this pandemic.

Many have worked randomly in various types of work, one of the jobs that are popular today is being a virtual assistant or jobs that can be done even if you are at home as long as you have a laptop or pc and internet. And also because of the ingenuity of people who spend more time using gadgets, more and more people are now obsessed with investing in cryptocurrencies. There are as many ways to earn here and most of it is by playing various NFT GAMES. It's very nice if this is your job, you already earning while enjoy playing, but it depends on your diligence and perseverance in playing how much you earn and of course, it also depends on your skill and strategy in the game.
TBH even though the pandemic didn't started yet, I'm already working from home and for sure many of us are. If you know how to use PC and you know how to utilize the internet then you're still good this pandemic because finding jobs online is easier than it is years ago already. There are many ways to earn online already either crypto related or not. We've seen old employees turned freelancers because of the pandemic. We've seen how people are good in finding ways just to have a source of income. As for me since you said already that "NFT games" already, I'm really happy that I learned certain skills that will help me in playing different games and I'm happier that I can earn extra income from it Smiley.

Like what the user above me has said, I feel more regret with Lazlo. The guy who bought 2 pizza with 10,000 Bitcoins.
Well, nothing knew that Bitcoin will be like this right? Nobody expected that this cryptocurrency thing will be a big thing after more than a decade?

Its only a matter of trust and what you heard first in the public. If these people who labeled Bitcoin as a scam in 2010 heard that it isn't a scam first then maybe they will not treat it as a scam and vice versa. Just look at the new projects right now and how we see them. This is how people in 2010 sees Bitcoin. They see it as a scam since it is new and its nature of investors to see new project especially if there is money involved that way. Its a bit of regret but it already happened Smiley. The only thing that they will do is to move on and do something.
3565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 09, 2022, 11:23:22 AM

Nice to see that game schedules are out. I miss that "Paper" they are posting on their Facebook when they release the schedule.

This will be a good topic to share here, what do you think guys about the future of NorthPort Batang Pier? Just to give others an idea, their players, Robert Bolick, Greg Slaughter, and Nico Elorde have yet to sign an extension with the Batang Pier.

The PBA is just about a few days to go to commence again but still no progress about these players' respective contracts.

NorthPort have signed Roy Sumang so i think they are filling the spot of the point guard position in case Robert Bolick and Nico Elorde won't be back to their line-up.

Greg Slaughter is a restricted free agent so i think he will be back with NorthPort to man the middle, they just have to offer what's best for this gentle giant and surely he will be back with them.
Did a quick search into Sumang and it seems that he just came back after at least a year of not playing.
His last conference where he played was in 2020 in Blackwater where he averaged 10 points per game there.

Its a good think that NorthPort gave him another chance. With regards to Slaughter, I hope that he will stay with NorthPort. The team and his training session outside PH is the reason why he is better now and he is a good addition to the team and he is fit with the roster.
3566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 09, 2022, 10:26:07 AM

The last news or at least rumors is the Simmons-Harden trade but I hope this will not happen or it will be a disaster for the Nets or at least for both teams.
I like that, Nets don't need 3 scores, Durand and Irving is already enough, it's already like Lebron and Irving back when they are still with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Simons is just like the Dennis Rodman of the Bulls, he just need to be more aggressive and play harder so he can create his own brand.
As far as I know, Steve Nash put down that rumor, but who wouldn't know? Did James Harden requested to be traded or something and tells it to the media? I know that they are losing because of the injury from Durant but I doubt that it will be just the reason to ask for a trade right now. He himself is also injured with his hamstring. But we will have to wait, the trade deadline is just hours from now.

Not sure if. this is logical for the Sixers though, I mean with Joel everything looks good and the team are jelling. Maybe an addition of Harden won't bring any good for the Sixers.

So it's better for Harden to stay with the Nets, and see how it goes for them and hopefully they can make it to the playoffs and have him and Durant healthy and make one more run for the championship.
I watched Stephen A.'s videos an hour ago regarding this and he said that Harden at least this year will stay in the Nets so I think its safe to say that the chances of this trade to happen is very low but who knows. They might surprise us Cheesy.

On the other hand although I think that this will not happen, I think that the Sixers will win the trade if it happens. Just imagine the Embiid and Harden tandem especially now that Embiid is playing his best season though Harden's hamstring injury might be a problem for them. Still, I don't think that this will happen anymore after watching on Youtube.
3567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 09, 2022, 07:24:20 AM
Another big trade.
Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings complete six-player trade that includes Domantas Sabonis, Tyrese Haliburton
Indiana Pacers precisely. After trading Caris LeVert they now moved Domantas Sabonis, Lamb, and Holiday. Pacers will acquire Haliburton, Hield, and Thompson.
Kings will focus on Fox and surround him with good players. But, I don't know about the Pacers, it seems like they are going to make Haliburton their franchise player after witnessing a great future for the young player's talent.
If you will see both of them have advantages of the trade but if I will pick who is the winner of this trade, I will go with the Pacers.
Kings already have Holmes and Bagley as their big but maybe they want a big that is athletic and can shoot outside that is why they got Sabonis and TBH, he is still improving and putting big numbers this season.
On the other hand, the Pacers are really in a rebuilding stage and they got really good players. A good guard like Haliburton and a sniper like Hield and Thompson is just an addition to the trade. Duarte + Haliburton combination maybe. Haliburton for me has a potential and a great player in the future. Just needs time to develop.

Well, hopefully, that decision will help the future of both teams. But honestly, I'm more interested on the other players like a superstar players that are in the trading block, is there any news about the trade of Simmons?
The last news or at least rumors is the Simmons-Harden trade but I hope this will not happen or it will be a disaster for the Nets or at least for both teams.

Well, if that is what you believe that will give you huge profits in the future then go for it. For sure there will be some that will support your idea.

Nobody is telling that you're plan is stupid. Lets just say that your plan is a plan that you only has the guts to do and if you become successful with that plan then for sure there will be some that will follow what you did or at least they will use it as a basis. Nobody is saying as well that meme coins is just a shitcoins. Its just that many lost their money because of it.

What do I think? Do what you want to do. If you love that plan then do it. If you love holding meme coins then do it. No one is against your plan. Good luck with your plan.

Still, I'm waiting for the Blackwater's first victory. Can they can get it this season? Will the streak continues until next season? Will the Bossing have any adjustments with regards to their roster? These are some of the questions that I'm still waiting to get answered. I will be happy if they will get even only 1 win this season but on the other hand, it would be better if they will continue their streak (sarcasm) Cheesy.

A big fan of Blackwater here as I always follow their new record every game.

They don't need to play hard at this conference. They just have to tank and get a good draft slot next conference.

I'm still looking forward to their continuous losing streak this season. It's the hardest achievement to achieve even in NBA. They are truly great on that part.
Hmmmmmm, I'll take that "fan" thing as a joke and sarcasm I think because I don't know why you are a fan of the team. I mean we have teams that are supporting but... still I don't know why. Apologies.

With regards to tanking, next draft they might get a better player right now because they didn't get good ones last draft pick. The problem though is when these 2 big companies will try to get that player. Just see what happened to CJ Perez when he is in Columbian Dyip (TerraFirma now). SMB got him into a controversial and we know-not-equal trade. It will happen again with BlackWater trust me Smiley.

I can't remember how many straight losses they have already but they might beat the longest streak in NBA history with 26. You can see it here what TEAM is it.
3570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why you will be left behind if you don’t learn NFT. on: February 08, 2022, 12:25:24 PM
I don't think so.

NFT arts are something that will be harder to sell especially if nobody wants to buy that art because in order for you to sell it, you need to have a seller and I mean seller that is interested in the art and believing that it will have more value in the future. NFT's are a hype already months ago but until now, I still can't understand why investors are buying NFT arts. Maybe for collection but to spend much money for them.

NFT games on the other hand is better at least for me because you can sell your NFT's immediately in their marketplace (sometimes) and at the same time you are enjoying with the game itself. Well, not learning NFT's will not leave you behind because there will be more and better opportunities in the future I think so... yeah Smiley.
3571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the hate? on: February 08, 2022, 10:58:29 AM
$Doge coin and shiba inu takes the lead in the past 24hrs as the most profitable coins after the last dip and here I am thinking it's over for meme coins, I understand that many hated meme coins for their own reasons but Im guessing that adding meme coins to list of your crypto portfolio for future is not a bad plan at all.
Just weeks ago, I just watched a video on youtube and he has a guest who is very popular (don't know the name though) and he invested a million dollars in DOGE and now currently at a loss but its ok for him since he is trusting the project and of course he is trusting Elon Musk Cheesy.

With regards to investing into meme coins, there is DOGE and SHIB that is at the top 100 coins so I guess there is  nothing wrong in investing into meme coins as long as you are ready in whatever might happen. Why find a low market cap meme coin where you have these 2 meme coins that "might" give you profit in short to mid term and maybe long term. Many hate meme coins because they invested into pump and dump meme coins and that is what made them go away and didn't invested into these kind of coins. As for me, I will still not touch any meme coins. I'd rather invest it into other coins.
3572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 08, 2022, 10:14:06 AM
They're definitely the hottest team in the NBA right now.  I'm not sure they'll be able to beat a healthy Lakers or Warriors team in the playoffs, but they'll definitely be sticking around to find out.  Booker is finally starting to be noticed for being one of the better players in the league, although not being an all star starter while on the hottest team in the NBA is considered to some as a snub.  Great win tonight though against one of the other hottest teams in the league.  I don't think it was as close as the score would lead you to believe, but a win is a win no matter how you come upon it.  Smiley
A healthy Lakers? Nahh I don't think that they can beat the Suns even though they are complete and healthy as well. The Suns have many young players and they are also fast. I don't think that the Lakers are capable of beating the Suns unless either Booker or CP3 will be injured (hope not).

Warriors? In their 2 match-ups this season, they are even so its hard to predict which team will win but since I'm a Warrior fan I will stick to the Warriors as the winner against the Suns Tongue. Still great win for the Suns and also for the Warriors who are in a 9 game winning streak. Hope this continues and get the top spot again.
3573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 08, 2022, 02:54:09 AM
Before the start of the season, many are predicting already (including me) that the 2 teams that will face coming into the NBA Finals will be the Lakers and the Nets.
Now the Lakers are below 500 and currently at the 9th position and the Nets are in a 8 game losing streak, currently in the 7th place and only 1.5 games above the 9th spot Hornets.

Right now the Nets are in a big trouble. I think one problem of the team is their inside defense because most of the time they are playing small ball and it doesn't work for them like in this game. They gave up 64 pts in the paint against only 32 for them. I think this is one of their problem. They don't have good defenders inside the paint that can stop those bigs in the opposing team. Durant might sit up for a bit longer and TBH, it will be hard for them to go up again.
I confess that I was one of those people too... I almost made a bet with my friends saying that this season's NBA Finals would be between Lakers vs Nets (I'm glad I didn't bet lol)

Anyway... I don't know what is happening with the Nets, the Lakers are another team that also surprised me, I would never imagine that a team like the Nets or Lakers are in the situation we see today.
I sincerely hope they get better as soon as possible.
I know that the injuries of some players, lack of motivation and lack of chemistry between players can be the real reason for this bad performance of these teams!
Good thing that you didn't continue your bet with your friends Cheesy.
Injuries really is the main problem with this Nets all-stars. You don't know what is happening with the Nets? 2 reasons why they are in a losing streak right now. Lack of Defense and injuries. That 2 is enough to say that they are in a trouble right now. Its 3 days before the trade deadline and maybe, just maybe they can get some bigs from other teams just to be a better defensive team because right now they are just aren't that great when it comes to defense.

Like some said with regards to the Lakers, many already knew that they would be like this just by seeing at their pre-season games while the die hard Laker fans out there are saying "Nahh its just a pre-season game. They will show their full potential when the regular season starts." and now look how they are playing. Well, its a good thing though that Davis came back and played well in his last games after his injury but Westbrook.... you saw how Westbrook played in their last games and he even got benched in Overtime against the Knicks where they won. He also got boo's in their home court for his shooting. With how he is playing right now, do you think that the Lakers need to trade Westbrook? Not now at least but maybe next season.
3574  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touched $43k, from $33k in two weeks on: February 07, 2022, 01:05:49 PM
Well, its kinda surprising to me that we saw Bitcoin touching above $43,000 after reaching the $35,000 in just 2 weeks.
Base on the Fear and Greed Index, investors are not still feared but unlike weeks ago that they are extremely feared.

Still, I'm not trusting this rise that happen with the market. Though I bought some Bitcoins when it is below $40,000, I want to go below it once again Smiley. The opposite of it can happen though and we might see Bitcoin go up again but I'm leaning more on the market going down in the next days but if it doesn't happen then I'm still happy that I bought at the near bottom.
3575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What high gas fee have cost me on: February 07, 2022, 12:41:18 PM
I know that some rich people don't care what ETH gas fee was saying in 2021 when BTC was surging but for me it cut me off some wonderful opportunities, the most painful one was shiba inu could have been one of the early buyers probably a big winner know but couldn't buy because shiba inu started its journey on ETH chain. . . there are actually few others so I started looking for tokens running on BSC chain only..imagine.
Its only one of the many opportunities in the crypto space so don't worry about it too much.

Shiba Inu isn't the only coin that will give you large profits. There will be many coins that will emerge in the future that can be like Shiba Inu that can give profits to those who will buy it. Of course the risk of this is very high but the reward of it is also very high. Still I'm worried in the Ethereum's very high gas fees than the profits that I and you can get on Shiba Inu. Maybe you can get more profits in the BSC by investing in the tokens under that chain. Just find it and be patient.

3577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 07, 2022, 11:15:55 AM
Brooklyn Nets got their eighth consecutive loss last night. They played an away game against Denver Nuggets. James Harden wasn't able to play in this one too which was also a reason for the loss. But even while he was playing, they were still losing too. Something interesting is going on with this team and they are still not able to solve this problem. They are out of the top 6 now and this is very alarming for them. If they don't find a way out, they can find themselves out of the playoff area completely before the end of the regular season.
Before the start of the season, many are predicting already (including me) that the 2 teams that will face coming into the NBA Finals will be the Lakers and the Nets.

3578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 05, 2022, 02:48:32 PM
The game which was between Charlotte Hornets and Cleveland Cavaliers ended up with a really close result. Hornets made a big effort in the last quarter but Cavaliers still were able to win this game by only one point. Cavs are just one of the greatest teams of the Eastern Conference right now. They didn't have a wonderful season like this for a long time but now they are just enjoying each of their games. While they are this much great, they should be able to do big things in the playoffs. This will be depending on whether they would reflect their current effort there too.
I thought that the 29 pt 22 rebound game of Jarrett Allen will turn into nothing but its good that they won the game and yes it is really close. Its the foul with Kevin Love that sealed the deal.
When they released the all-star reserves, I'm thinking on why they snubbed Allen? He played great this season and we know that. I just don't know how he got snubbed this time :|.

The Cavaliers are the most surprising team right now for me and they are fun to watch when they are playing and take note that this team composes of young and talented players like Garland, Mobley, Allen and Sexton. With regards of their performance to the playoffs, I'm already disregarding the fact that most of them have little to no experience in the playoffs because I think that they will play well in the playoffs.

Nets' terrible form is still existing. They played an away game against Jazz last night and they lost it as I expected. They didn't have KD and Harden which was an important point for them. Irving played but he got only 15 points. The 20-year-old guard Cameron Thomas shined in this game with 30 points but they still lost by a big gap like 125-102. This was their seventh straight loss and I wonder until when they will go on like this. There are three teams right behind them which can leave them behind soon as long as things go on like now. Nets might even be under the threat of not qualifying for the playoffs.

Don't worry. Once playoffs started, their respective standing will reset. Once the playoffs started, any teams that will be on the Nets bracket will surely be handled by them. Not of course in the event that they are missing their key players.

Just unfortunate that in a series match, Irving will just play on Away games. He will really stand on his idea not to be vaccinated. If ever his team will reach a deciding Game 7 on their home, he will just watch it lol.
I will only agree with the quote "they will handle all teams that they will face in the playoffs" only if the three of them will play at the same time. Not one, not two but all three of them. Unfortunately, we are at the half of the season and we didn't see that moment at all.

Durant and Harden are injured while Irving can only play on road games and if he plays, he doesn't have any back-up all star to play with. Now the Nets are in the spot where they might freefall up to the 8th spot or even lower (hope not). They are having a hard time winning if Durant isn't playing. They are now in a losing streak. Good thing that they have Cam Thomas that stepped up in their game against the Jazz but it wasn't enough. Irving on the other hand though still doesn't want to get vaccinated. Well, its his decision but I just don't like that he will choose his beliefs with vaccines over his team and a possible championship as well  Huh.
3579  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in Rocket 🚀 mood. on: February 05, 2022, 11:42:31 AM
Rocket in the short term and TBH, I'm quite surprised that it went higher than $40,000 quicker than what I expected.
Its been 2 weeks since Bitcoin went below $40,000 and I expected that it will go sideways or at least below $35,000 but.... yeah my first prediction is wrong Smiley.

Now that we saw Bitcoin go up to $40,000 right now, what it needs is for it to stay above that price but lets not forget that we are in a bear market so there is a chance that this might be a false breakout only. Just be ready because I'm leaning that this is only a false breakout.

Do you think competitors will defeat ETH due to ever-increasing gas fees? If not, why? Are constant delays a result of miners' opposition against reducing gas fees on the blockchain? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
In terms of market cap? Right now it isn't but as more and more projects go away from Ethereum, these smart contract projects that so called "Ethereum Killer" will slowly increase their market cap.
In terms of number of new projects? There is no doubt that these new projects are preferring cheaper transaction fees like in Binance Smart Chain and in Solana.

Well as long as the gas fees of Ethereum will be high, I think that it will decrease its users and new projects overtime. Lets see in the future if these other smart contract coins will face the same problem as Ethereum is facing when they reach the current price of Ethereum. Correct me though but I felt a slight increase in the fees in BSC though its not that high Smiley.
