They're definitely the hottest team in the NBA right now. I'm not sure they'll be able to beat a healthy Lakers or Warriors team in the playoffs, but they'll definitely be sticking around to find out. Booker is finally starting to be noticed for being one of the better players in the league, although not being an all star starter while on the hottest team in the NBA is considered to some as a snub. Great win tonight though against one of the other hottest teams in the league. I don't think it was as close as the score would lead you to believe, but a win is a win no matter how you come upon it. A healthy Lakers? Nahh I don't think that they can beat the Suns even though they are complete and healthy as well. The Suns have many young players and they are also fast. I don't think that the Lakers are capable of beating the Suns unless either Booker or CP3 will be injured (hope not). Warriors? In their 2 match-ups this season, they are even so its hard to predict which team will win but since I'm a Warrior fan I will stick to the Warriors as the winner against the Suns . Still great win for the Suns and also for the Warriors who are in a 9 game winning streak. Hope this continues and get the top spot again.

I'm rooting for the Milwaukee Bucks to reach again the Finals. Their explosiveness is still at best. I also ended up thinking that we will see the same Finals matchup last season, Bucks vs Suns.
I doubt if the Miami Heat will just agree about that mate, currently they have the top spot on the East while the Bucks seats at the 2nd spot. Just like on the West, the Suns is on the top spot as well but the hot Warriors is also there willing to take the spot and surely won't go down without a fight specially now that the Splash Bros are back. But just like you mate, I'm also thinking about the same that maybe it's the Bucks vs Suns again in the finals.

Miami and Bucks area a great rivals, but last season the Bucks made their sweet revenge and they swept the Heat. I hope this playoffs if ever they'll face again, it will become a tough series where it will reach to game 7.

The bulls cannot stop the Suns while they have their best players on the court, it's just too much for them right now. Finally, the Suns win the game tonight and are still at the top of the league. Looks like they are gonna get back to the NBA finals again if they successfully defeat the GSW in the NBA playoffs.
Indeed they may. High probability that they will be at the Finals once again. Crossing my fingers in injuries, I don't like that to happen again especially with Chris Paul who could've been a champion years ago with James Harden if only he was not hurting. It was there, he can taste it but luck is not on his side and so they lose leaving a scared Harden alone. I root for this Suns team after the Nuggets, but if they will face each other in semis or conference Finals, sorry CP3 but I will cheer for Jokic.

First off they are starting two non-starters and Ball and Patrick Williams are both out and injured as well as the Bulls lost Caruso for several weeks to months. I’m not saying the Bulls are a better team, but all things considered this really wasn’t a completely fair fight. Can’t wait for the bulls to get fully healthy.

If they won't get any major injuries, the chance for them to be in the finals is really possible. The way they are playing the game seems so easy, but knowing who's team in the west there are lots of competition, even you are in the top spot, we can see much clearer picture after this regular season. Playoffs is another start of this league. The team that will be present in the next round are the one who has that chance to upset and be on the finals.. GSW, Suns, Memphis, Nuggets or even both LA Lakers and Clippers all are chasing for this year's title..

With the NBA trade deadline fast approaching (Thursday, February 10th), more and more deals are being completed. After trading two of its wings, Powell and Covington, a couple of days ago, the Blazers have moved CJ McCollum to New Orleans: source: https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/1491075416001556483Portland is finalizing acquiring Josh Hart, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Tomas Satoransky and draft compensation in the CJ McCollum trade, sources said. Portland with 21-33 record and in the midst of a full-blown rebuild, i mean how soon before we see a Dame trade? He wanted out before the start of the season, and with what is happening there right now...it may actually happen, Portland could trade him.

They broke the whole team and will let this year slide for a playoff run. Like waving a white flag. I don't understand if this is rebuilding for Dame or they are just letting go of high-paid players to avoid something. CJ is a great wingman and he is not the problem to make it work, imho. Could it be a preparation for another star next year since they look like opening a huge cap space?

I'm also looking forward and kinda excited on where will Dame land next when he gets traded. He might really wanted to be out of the Blazers, but maybe the organisation are very thorough on choosing the pieces for Dame. We all know the player value of Lillard. He could actually land in a championship caliber team. Some rumors said he could be traded for Westbrook, but I don't think it's happening.

Memphis Grizzlies will be a wild card for me. If the winning team is all about chemistry the Suns, GSW, Nuggets, and Grizzlies are the most scary teams to deal with. They are unpredictable and can suddenly change the flow of the game by using mere chemistry, from forcing turnovers to offensive transitions. I think they have a shot not just by luck but with how they showcased their skills specially Ja Morant who might be in his best season of his career. They defeated the Jazz, Warriors and even the Nets with KD on it so there's a big possibility they could be at the semis or even better.

Trading CJ is basically giving the all clear sign that Dame is good to go also. I wasn’t much for the Westbrook/Dame trade rumors, but now they wouldn’t surprise me. Poor Westbrook and the Blazers are going to get the short end of the stick on this one I think, but LeBron has been saying for years he’d love to play with Dame, so that would be one hell of a situation to watch unfold.

Bulls' performance in this season makes me excited a lot to be honest. They had a really tough game last night against Suns and they lost it barely by three points. Their effort was still incredible as always. They are definitely one of the teams that deserve to promote to the playoffs and even the NBA finals. Their effort in the playoffs will determine their probability of qualifying for the finals. If they keep up their current performance at least, even this would be enough for them to make it.

Two trade news in a row for the Blazers huh?
I thought Pelicans were sending too many just for CJ McCollum but looks like they are getting two more from the trade.
From ESPN article, New Orleans receives: - CJ McCollum - Larry Nance Jr. - Tony Snell
Portland receives: - Josh Hart - Tomas Satoransky - Nickeil Alexander-Walker - Didi Louzada - 2022 first-round pick (protected) - Two future second-round picks
I think Portland got the better end of the deal and I hope they still keep Dame to lead the team.

Celtics vs Nets = 28-2, what an embarrassing start for the team.
But the good thing is that they made a comeback to make it a bit decent score now in the first quarter. Not sure though if they can win against the Celtics, all of their stars are out of this game. And if I'm not mistaken they are on the top of the East in the 3rd week of January and now they might be fighting for a playoff spot.

A scoring machine like him is something that Sixers is needed to help Embiid, not sure though if Blazers management will is going to be open for possible Simmons trade. Still a big question mark if Blazers will trade Lilard or building another set of players to surround him..

What a turn of events for CJ, in the beginning his name didn't pop up in the trade and now he is the first one. As for Dame, he has wasted his prime years with Portland and with his injuries right now, not sure if he can play as close as what he does before. Hopefully he can get back again, but I guess it's better for him to also move on to other teams with championship chances regardless of what team it is. He needs to win at least a ring.

There are a lot of rumors around Lillard. One source wrote that the Blazers want to keep Lillard and rebuild the team around him, while another source wrote that he could be traded soon. In any case, it seems to me that the exchange of Lillard for Westbrook is unlikely. Westbrook has been performing poorly this season, and his value as a player has clearly declined a lot. So the Blazers probably don't need him, especially since they're going to rebuild the team.

The Phoenix Suns are still dominating the league by defeating the 76ers tonight with no problem including a more productive Embiid is no match to the Suns' team works. Looks like the Suns are building another chance to break their winning streak record, I wonder how many wins they will get this season, and no matter how strong their opponent is, they still managed to catch up and suddenly get some winning streaks again.

That's a bit of exaggeration. I mean the healthy lakers is westbrook-monk-lebron-ad-Center (whoever they play there) with players like Melo and THT, Bradley and so forth helping from bench as well. So it would be unwise to say that it is a clear indication. For starters, any team Lebron is on could be considered as a possible winner, that dude (no matter how old) could carry a team to a win in playoffs, we have seen it time and time after again, how many horrible Cavs teams went to Finals just thanks to him? Doesn't mean they will win, I can't say that clearly neither, but I certainly wouldn't say that Suns will clearly win neither. It would be a decent matchup and they would have a fight and whoever comes out on top would go to next round but it is not a clear matchup. However, as seen so far, Lakers have hard time staying healthy so I doubt that will ever happen.

Another disappointing loss of the Lakers is incoming.
They could not handle Giannis and the entire team of course. The attacks are coming everywhere and everyone is making their contribution, FG percentage of the Bucks are over 50%, which means a lot of defense from the LA Lakers which is a big problem not only this game but on their past games as well.
