We must make our flip as understandable as possible, I go through a lot of time thinking about how to make my flip as simple as possible even to the point o asking some of my friends for help if the flip is understandable and can easily trace and understand, I don't want to lose my rewards because validation is very important to get more rewards.
i do aggree i usually do same thing, i used to make flip with my brother and my sister for a better idea

3563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Deleting crypto wallets with contents? on: January 24, 2021, 03:54:21 AM
i do same as you do when no transferable amount to send , especially nowadays there is dozen wallet on playstore and appstore that airdrop and bounty manager tell the bounty hunter to use one of those. and yes like ranochigo said the money will gone actually the money still exist but you can use it since you dont have the private key
3564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forks on: January 23, 2021, 05:04:25 AM
That being said: do make sure you don't start importing private key(s) into altcoin wallets to claim those forks BEFORE emptying out your BTC wallet! Some of those altcoin wallets are "fake" and collect your private key(s), other chains have problems that might cause issues on the bitcoin chain... So avoid problems by emptying out your bitcoin wallet BEFORE even making an attempt to claim those forked altcoins

yes is true and it happen in one community there is airdrop called STX from blockchain and there is scammer made Apk for the android and claim can withdraw the airdrop and result the APK was fake and right now they hunt them the scammer . so we need to carefully
3565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another attempt to manipulate the market on: January 23, 2021, 04:51:15 AM
Who else saw the news? I think this was a  ploy to drag the price of bitcoin down and I dare say it worked. Turns out not a lot of bitcoin investors really understand Bitcoin and how it works else such news wouldn't be causing much panic.

The link? in my experience world news is drive forex, stock, commodity market and also crypto up and down and its happen everyday, rememeber the SEC and Ripple or the President Election happen to forex just like that
3566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling All BTC for ETH this Bull Run on: January 22, 2021, 07:27:53 AM
Depends on your thoughts and belief for the both crypto. You hold it at the same time and you'll no longer asking this question. But what I do is to hold both of it and I keep BTC foremost.
I don't intend to sacrifice my bitcoin holdings to buy ETH but instead, I'll take some of my cash and use it for buying it.
Total Agree

so keep your btc and use some from bitcoin profit to buy eth, and yes usually after bitcoin bull a year after Halving there's alt season with altcoin price pumped

3568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP SEC lawsuit complaint on: January 22, 2021, 07:13:03 AM
Where did you get this conspiracy theory. need more. I am fan conspiracy. But why IBM purchase jed balance when they know the price will going down
Find information on IBM World Wire and compare to Ripple solutions... and sometimes you should read not only Twitter announcements, but also comments to them, and by the way, here's something else interesting... Tetragon invested in Ripple knowing that XRP could potentially be classified as a security in the future, ("Tetragon seeks to enforce its contractual right to require Ripple to redeem Series C preferred stock").

Responsiveness ...

Quote from: ripple/press
In Ripple’s Series C investment agreement, there is a provision that if XRP is deemed to be a security on a go forward basis, then Tetragon has the option of having Ripple redeem their Ripple equity. Since there has been no such determination, this lawsuit has no merit. We are disappointed that Tetragon is seeking to unfairly take advantage of the lack of regulatory clarity here in the U.S. The courts will provide this clarity and we are very confident in our position.

Holy Sh** You are really thorough. So big company is come to play right now. first covid and now cryptocurrency as well. damnnnnnn
3569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: January 21, 2021, 04:44:07 AM
I'm glad for you. And I have a feeling I’ve gotten some simpler flips, maybe people tried to simplify as much as possible, not wanting to risk bad flips.
Next validation is very important for you (for me it will also be valuable) because you will be eligible to get your own invite which can bring you more idena in future.

Today Idena validation results are: 5424 identities are validated (+11.6%) which is significantly more than the previous time, because of that, slightly smaller rewards came.

people using simple flip because when somebody report your flip all the reward are gone  Cry Cry

3571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP SEC lawsuit complaint on: January 21, 2021, 04:12:14 AM
The XRP rate will return to normal not earlier than in six months ... A bearish trend is looming and Jed McCaleb understands this given that he recently sold 28.6M XRP. While it may appear that the sale is related to the SEC lawsuit, I am sure it is not, (as I said earlier "Legal battles of this scale can last for years, such companies simply do not have a limit for their legal departments"). If you are a fan of conspiracy theories, then the quote below is just for you.

Quote from: EgissonW
Conspiracy Theory #589: In deal w/IBM, IBM agrees to purchase Jed’s balance of XRP holdings. XRP price triples. IBM brings in GCohn, formally GS/Gvt to get favor from JC and put the brakes on XRP. How soon after Jed’s tokens are liquidated the "SEC" reaches a settlement?

Where did you get this conspiracy theory. need more. I am fan conspiracy. But why IBM purchase jed balance when they know the price will going down
3572  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptocurrencies Face Greater Oversight Under Gensler-Led SEC on: January 21, 2021, 04:08:05 AM
The SEC going after Ripple may just be the beginning. It could be a year filled with lawsuits against token issuers:

Quote
He has also long railed against illegal offerings of securities, which the SEC has been actively pursuing. In December, the agency filed a lawsuit against Ripple Labs Inc. for issuing more than $1 billion in unregistered tokens XRP. In a 2019 keynote at Harvard Law School, Gensler said “I don’t think the SEC is going to leave many ICOs off the hook.”

In his 2019 Congressional testimony, Gensler appeared to favor projects like Facebook-led Diem, which used to be called Libra -- an effort to create a cryptocurrency for payments. But he did suggest that the effort may need to have banking regulations applied to it.

“Gary is extremely dialed-in on the crypto markets and understands them extremely well,” said Nic Carter, co-founder of researcher Coin Metrics. “If his stated views are any indication of his priorities as commissioner, I would expect the SEC to continue with or even accelerate its agenda of discouraging unregulated securities issuance in the form of tokens.”

Holy shit it is going worse  Cry Cry Cry
3573  Economy / Exchanges / Re: A nube with questions about coinbase on: January 21, 2021, 04:06:12 AM
Here in Canada all Major banks and credit unions won't allow their clients to transfer cash to or from any crypto exchanges . I read the bank of america has the same policy. I didn't check farther because I'm Canadian .

Some places offer prepaid credit cards , but first you might want to check all the fees . I had a credit card once that I paid the annual fee plus % of each transaction .it wound up at 15% ,just for the card.
I don't know about peer to peer . You better ask a lot of questions.
And never invest more than you can afford to loose.

yes i think the only things we can do is using prepaid credit card that accept bitcoin or just go directly to OTC and exchange it and u should consider the broker fee or using localbitcoin apps

Chances are low, but it's still definitely not something you should just scoff at.

You should mostly be fine as long as you follow their rules and requirements and that you don't directly transact with 'controversial' websites like gambling websites(not sure with porn sites, but better safe than sorry); but also don't forget that false accusations exist.

and some investment or unusual transaction happen to your account it can lead freeze account
3574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell my bitcoin from 2010 on: January 20, 2021, 02:06:02 AM
Why just remember, why don’t you use it for the pleasure of your life and start a business in the real world. If you have that much BTC
you are already quite successful in the world of cryptocurrency investment.
Holding bitcoin for 12 years is a very long time.

3575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some recent tweets by Elon Musk showing he is starting to warm up to Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2021, 01:53:05 AM

Yes, I know of Elon's escapades into owning up to being the CEO of Doge coin. Cheesy
I had a post with a magazine cover of a doge on it with elon's name next to it somewhere. Wink

Saylor did reach out to elon on his twitter for an invitation to join him on his podcast to discuss about bitcoin. I don't know what became of that but I made a post about what I managed to find out so far.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5310818

I Also see on official Dogecoin twitter that says "Dogecoin is an open source peer-to-peer cryptocurrency, favored by shibas worldwide. Elon Musk thinks we're pretty cool. [RTs are not endorsements]" https://twitter.com/dogecoin  Grin Grin
3576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont stay in crypto too long on: January 20, 2021, 01:36:47 AM
It seems that you are holders of XRP, so you feel angry with the situation that XRP is getting lawsuits from the SEC. But that doesn't mean the crypto
world will end because of this, it looks like you are new to the crypto world. So can't see the potential of crypto in the future, especially Bitcoin will
present even greater surprises in the future than Bitcoin has shown us all this year. With the price of Bitcoin rising very quickly to a price above $ 40,000
it has motivated me to focus more on investing in Bitcoin. So your advice to stay for using cash is a bad thing in my opinion.

Total Agree i have couple XRP when SEC sued againts XRP an the price goes dip down i feel sh** i just hope XRP price back again to ATH. and crypto is high risk so people must understand that before start investing.

No one can regulate Bitcoin, even if banks and governments starts using it as replacement for fiat of reserve currency. That's how powerful decentralized system, no one controls it. Unless you have a total control of the hash of Blockchain you can monetize mined Bitcoins and transactions. But it would take tremendous money to invest in mining.

Which is impossible to person control all hash of the blockhain
3577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long will this scam go on? on: January 19, 2021, 03:32:29 AM
In just 11 years of cryptocurrencies existence we've seen a series of shitcoins coming up, making a choice on which coin to hold aside $BTC & $ETH $BET $DOT $ADA & LINK is becoming difficult, how best can I get to know more viable  projects like the ones I already have? When will the proliferation of shitcoins in crypto space stop? Who will check mate the proliferation of shitcoins?

Shitcoin/scamcoin from altcoin to token will continue exist because scammer is need the money for living and buy new some car  Lips sealed just hold bitcoin and you will be fine and Do your own research before investing in new coin because i see ton of them pop out everyday  Cry
3578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reinvest initial investment, or keep profits? on: January 19, 2021, 03:29:53 AM
I think it's better to wait some time for the Bitcoin price to cool down a little bit and re-invest your money again because you are here already in the crypto industry so dont just remain idle grab the opportunity to earn more but be cautions because as you said crypto is a volatile investment so you must be aware of it. by the way congrats on your gain.

i do agree with this, wait for the price correction and buy or using Dollar Cost Averaging Strategy
Perhaps your concern is reflected in some of us. If I don't need the money, I would reinvest in bitcoin as an investment for a long time. Any portfolio should have an investment in bitcoin, the most optimistic people think that its price will reach very high.

dont need the money buy more need the money withdraw it simple as that   Grin
