From what I've read, 220PPI isn't too high (at least for cell phones). IIRC, the Galaxy S3 has 313PPI and the Iphone 4s has 326PPI. But that's on a much smaller screen even compared to the 15.4'' display.
but remember that a pixel on retina is divide another four so it is giving you greater detail

yes if it mets the criteria for having fees, just cause your moving inside your wallet doesn't mean that network knows that. A wallet is just a collection of address, the address with the private key is what gives you control over bitcoins. So moving control of bitcoins to another address under your control still needs to be broadcast and put into a block. For miners to put things into blocks they need fees of course if it isn't meeting the criteria for fees.

What happens if you just run "bitcoin-qt bitcoin:somerandomaddress" from the command line (while Bitcoin-Qt is already running)?
I get the same error: Huh. What happens if you drag-and-drop a bitcoin URI link onto the Bitcoin-Qt window? That works, but it is a bit of a PITA. Also, you have to drop it in the big blank area, it won't work if you drop it anywhere else such as in the address field. that doesn't work on mac js

I thought the installer for bitcoin-qt took care of the URI registration, but the standalone won't do it. It's an NSIS installer, so it would be easy to extract the code and create a patcher that updates the registry without doing anything else.
only bad thing that is only for windows not Mac

first. embed a watermark in the stream. also, put in an option to automatically upload everything to coinDL and let the cammer set the price. that way, if somehow the stream gets "leaked" potential users will have a very low-barrier method of purchasing additional content.
maybe combine with an online video editor to set begin, end times?
Not sure if coindl would host adult content but that is a really good idea. Contributor could get paid again and again. I think wachtwoord can do this but I think it should be limited to some users that he knows that are of age js

Read etotheipi what says about bitcoin-qt, it doesn't support the bitcoin URI as of now, and plus if you could send the URI to bitcoin-qt it will not parse it or accept it. So getting bitcoin-qt to work would take you coding it yourself.
|
|
|
if you read the top, it says that it needs to be registered to the OS, bitcoin-qt isn't registered to the OS as a handler for the bitcoin URI.

People should never Record a live cam unless its from thier lover :\
you do know once it is being broadcast it is public domain unless you copyrighted it before I think he was referring to foreign concepts such as class, tact and ettiquette. and I am referring to the law of where I live so that trumps ettiquette, honestly if people are going to bitch about recording then don't use the site simple as that, people record get over it

see if I was to give you the $1300 of course in bitcoins, I wouldn't do a loan cause your going to take that loan and maybe make a boat load of money, if you have clients and your in the SEO game. If I was to do the $1300 loan, i would call it an investment and I do it for about 30% of your gaming server company. So what that would mean is I give you $1300 in bitcoins and every month, i would get 30% of the profits, but I would be your personal bank so if you needed to scale or get more servers you would come to me for more money.
Also if you want to get the 30btcs from me, I would need a payback of 40btcs even.
|
|
|
so if give you 30 BTC that is only ~$261 and you need $1300, that sounds kinda fishy where is the other $1039 coming from the is that the extra cash or SEO biz? and does this gaming servers company your starting have a site your only doing for those clients that you keep in contact with?

I am not CPA, but if in the form of BTC is can't be tax cause it isn't in any formal currency recognized by the USA, yet transferring the funds to USD can be consider a currency exchange, or income. Yet I have yet to have any problem with this, and I have transfered a considerable amount.

Someone needs to write a Firefox/Chrome/IE extension to support that scheme. what would an extension do? if the client program doesn't register the URI scheme you can't really do anything and most people would do <a href="bitcoin:175tWpb8K1S7NmH4Zx6rewF9WQrcZv245W">Donate HERE</a> anyway

PPC Macs are SOL for Multibit, because AFAIK, Apple doesn't support 10.6 or 10.7 on PPC. To use a bootable distro with Electrum or just about any secure client, you need Intel.
It is veering a bit off topic, but Multibit needs Java 6 (or higher) to run which was never formally released for PPC. According to this URL it sounds like it might be possible to get Java 7 running on PPC: http://javaevangelist.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/openjdk-7-on-apple-g5-powerpc-on-mac-os.html?m=1I have not tried it mind as I do not have the kit. Any Mac under snow leopard doesn't have java 6
