Do you have the facilities to host this many avalons? Can you tell us a bit more where you'll be hosting them? (Home, office, data center, etc)?
I am planning on hosting them in my home, but those plans could change in the future. I have ran LTC rigs here for months and had no problems at all, I don't see how Avalon's will be any different... no need to pay for an office/data center/etc. |

I just want to point out potential issues that may be worth paying attention to.
What if you die? (I sincerely hope that doesn't happen, but it's possible, and we would presumably lose our investment). What if you get robbed or your house burns down? Someone earlier mentioned insurance, I'd be interested in this or at the very least finding out how much this would cost. Can't be that much split over so many people!
Yes, we will go over things like this in detail over the next month before we receive our units. There are many possibilities of insurance, etc. that we can all talk about, and perhaps vote on. I hadn't thought of what happens if I die though, I will have to set a plan in place in case that does happen  |

I willing to jump in, but I have a stupid question  How do I know my Bitcoin sending address on MTGox ? Should I just send the BTC to a Instawallet and then to you ? Send an exact amount that someone is unlikely to send, such as 1.0278634 BTC. Tell me this exact amount you're sending so I know it's you. I will also need an address that you would like a refund/payments sent to. Thanks ALL people depositing into the group address from any exchange should do this ^^^ |

Seems we can take our sweet time to gather some more coins.... just checked by adding 150 units: You cannot add that amount of "Avalon ASIC Unit – Batch Three" to the cart because there is not enough stock (68 remaining). See if I can sell some LTC.... just in case...  (bommed I only had 5 btc to put into this.....) If there's 68 remaining, I think we should have plenty of time to raise funds for another. We currently have 41.5 BTC in the group fund. |

If there is enough interest in ordering a 5th unit, then I am Ok with that. The only reason why I stopped accepting deposits is because I did not think wed get enough BTC to get another. We have about 20 BTC in group funds. Please reply ITT if you are interested in investing in one more unit. If the 20 BTC + peoples replies here is close to 75 BTC, I will start accepting more deposits this evening. Now.. back to work Bernie madoff used this tactic too. Act like the scheme is closed, then suddenly "oh, you're in luck, it's re-opened right now just for you, now send all your money" I can't imagine those refunds you talked about are going out any time soon now, i'm somehow not surprised.
