3561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Created an app to promote ₿itcoin on: June 30, 2020, 01:59:18 PM
Give us an update if everything is completed.
This could be the way on how we could educate people on what bitcoin really is.

No one will pay to advertise it, so the best we could do is help each other to spread the gospel.
Looking forward for this application.
3562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: June 30, 2020, 01:09:29 PM
We are doing the exact opposite Cheesy. You aren't checking it too much while I'm checking it early in the morning until the night Cheesy.

I know that is quite weird not advisable but I'm ok with it. Within the past days, some of my profit got wiped but now it is slowly recovering already. Getting profit will really take time especially if you invested a small amount of BTC only like I did. Just be patient. Investing in gambling sites and get profit really takes time but that would be better instead of just holding it.

Or maybe I will stop checking it too but it is my daily habit already Cheesy. I will try to lessen my times of checking it Cheesy.
That's cool.
Perhaps you could also create the same thread like Snipie did since you are already making efforts into checking it daily.
Just a suggestion though.  Cheesy

I accidentally closed my investment.
I don't really know how it happened. I opened a new tab while the other is at the investment window. Shit happens.

So I restarted a new one with a higher amount. I am getting better numbers now and is still in green light.  Grin
Hoping this will continue. It is still in BTC investment.

3563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fake gold backed tokens on: June 30, 2020, 11:40:38 AM
Precisely.
We all have to be aware of any coin that is backed by any commodity.
It's not just gold out there. I saw diamonds and oil and whatever they will make up just to look like a legitimate project.
I haven't gone through checking them yet, I am not that keen into investing with those types.

Do you have any listing already of some of this gold-backed ICO that is trying to scam people?
I mean, just so we can warn them in advance.
3564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 30, 2020, 10:44:12 AM
Hahaha
Those memes are really funny.  Grin
First time I saw it and it was hilarious.
JR Smith back in the spotlight. I guess he is having a good time looking at all the discussion about him.

Back to the positive test of players.
It is growing and no doubt it will grow more.
1st to 7th seed won't have to worry about it. But those who are aiming for the 8th seed and defending it cannot afford more players to be tested positive or they will have a difficult time defending the throne or reaching it.

There is always the next year. It's still better to be healthy and alive rather than being ashes in an urn.

3565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 30, 2020, 03:38:21 AM
Unfortunately, another star player added in the list of players positive in covid-19.

Here's the story.

Nets' Spencer Dinwiddie Tested Positive for COVID-19; NBA Restart Status Unclear

Bad news, indeed.  Undecided
One of their offensive guys and also plays with a hustle.
If Irving will not play then it will depend on LeVert and Harris. They will be forced to push more offense for the team if they still want to win games from the 8 game tournament before Dinwiddie goes back for the playoffs.
Also hoping he could survive the sickness.

On JR Smith signing with the Lakers, not sure if it's a good news, I'll leave that up to you guys to judge.

The Lakers has a big chance to reach in the WCF, then the Finals if they will be more successful, but they will not be facing the warriors anymore, lol.. so I think he will not messed up this time, and I also think he won't get the average minutes he is getting in Cleveland Cavaliers.

I don't think so.  Grin
If pressure sinks in, he could mess up with any team they are against.  Cheesy
3566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who got the 10.000 bitcoins for the 2 pizzas? on: June 29, 2020, 02:37:28 PM
And if you Google just a bit, there are more details that might be interesting for you -> https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Jercos, https://bitcoinwhoswho.com/index/jercosinterview
The very nice concept he added on that interview "Bitcoin as a currency is meant to be spent.", fairly simple but that's the way it is. Though he hasn't hodl most of it (I guess) he really made a history that revolutionizes how bitcoin was used for. Hats off for both of them.

I do agree with what he said.
The only problem is the number of merchants.
It seems, they still have doubts and those doubts must be erased so they can start into using bitcoin as a payment option.

There are a lot who gambles bitcoin if we look at the gambling section.
Why not for the purpose of buying merchandise also?
I cannot buy pizza every day. It will make me fat.  Grin
3567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 29, 2020, 01:39:50 PM
My top NBA players list is the following:

James Lebron
Leonard Kawhi
Giannis Antetokounmpo
James Harden

Why Durant is not included?

I thought he is one of the best in the NBA.

Well, I can't argue that is your picks, and it's your personal opinion..Maybe we can also add westbrook to the list since he once won an MVP award and this guy is very good that could average a tripple double if he wants too, now, the stats has dropped because he paired with James Harden.
I guess we all differ with our picks.
Depends on how you are entertained by these players.

Mine is,
1. Kawhi
2. Durant
3. Curry
4. Irving
5. Lebron

I am a fan of defensive players first then guards.  Grin
Lebron is an exception though since he can score by himself using his power.
But if I will continue the list you might all get shocked and argue.  Grin
Next to Lebron might be PG13.
I don't really like the Harden and Westbrook style. I don't know why.
Maybe because of bad entertainment just like I said.
3568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO NOT TRUST TO TETHER on: June 29, 2020, 12:33:24 PM
Bullseye.

A good reason for it to be shutdown.
There is an incentive for that coin.
Use it as much as you can in trading to make profits but never stay with that coin for a long time.
Try as much as possible to buy another coin back, just not with Tether.

3569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: June 29, 2020, 10:20:02 AM
You can pull out your investment there anytime since the dilution fee has been removed.

Anyway, I also experienced what you've experienced too. I started also with a negative profit but it didn't took long. I think in less than a week, I saw my investment turned into green already. I also saw my investment lose at around 15k-20k sats I think but didn't bother me though since I'm investing already for a long time and these small ups and downs doesn't move me anything at all or doesn't make me decide what will I do next.

Put a larger amount of money into it so you have a higher share of profit or you can put an X amount this week and another X amount this week since you're in Yolodice too. You can invest your BTC there quickly.

Same with me.
I don't really check it much but upon reading all the investment thread, I had the urge to look at it.  Grin

Last time I checked I was at +15k satoshis.
Now I am at +6k.
I don't know how it is calculated but I am still happy to see the green numbers.
Maybe it will take more time before we could really see a better green amount.  Wink
3570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 29, 2020, 04:25:03 AM
I have been hearing guys which call NBA as soft.
Does it really matter?
There is a virus out there.
It's not being soft or how hard Adam Silver is.
When the time comes that the percentage of positive Covid-19 players grows then he must stop it.
I know NBA needed even just ROI of whatever they spent to finish this game but when it comes to health, players will be a priority.
They can still play next year but if infected there is nothing to bring back a.lost life.

Sorry, I am furious with the tweets of idiots.
Exactly, let them be what they think as they could even stop it nor the NBA staff would listen to their opinions, it's just a waste of time for sure. NBA has advisors and experts with them and that's a fact and they'll proceed with what plans they have.
True.
It's just irritating to see people who don't even appreciate what the NBA is trying to do.
One is for the economy. Businesses must run even for just a little bit profit so that they can pay taxes for the government to continue working on their health platforms against Covid-19 and then to provide for those who lose their jobs.

BEST PLAYERS IN THE NBA (my opinion only)

1) Kevin Durant
2) Lebron James
3) Kawhi Leonard

in any order.

Agree. For the last 5-10 years.
4. Steph Curry (before all the injuries)
Now we have Giannis which could be listed there for the last 4 years.
Consistency wise, KD scores if he wants to. Off-night is not on his vocabulary.  Grin

You will see how selfish the guy is.

Well, we might be seeing more members here in time.
Good chance for us to enlighten them on what the truth is, using this forum.

3573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 28, 2020, 02:33:32 PM
Everyone knows that NBA is against racism, and they showed it before, like when they forced Donald Sterling to sell Clippers, banned him from NBA for life and fined him  2.5 million USD. This would more like a compromise with those that didn't want to continue with NBA season, so they can basically do both things; support what is important to them  and still play this season.

I know that story but not everyone for sure know about what NBA did in the past to fight racism. This time it's more visible, while they are playing people will be seeing messages on the back of their uniform so it's really a good way to show support, and I also hope that Irving and Howard and all those NBA players who are thinking of not playing when the season resume will change their mind.

It's not that easy when you have something that is already settled.
Got to respect whatever their decision is.

We love NBA and we want to watch every star player as much as we could but there are circumstances which they need to pass.
Just like how we are when we are students. We skip school if we are not feeling better.
That is not absence but more like an excuse. Same thing that is happening with them. They didn't do it to upset people but they are supporting the movement.

Ain't it far better to be in a forum with veterans all over it than in a telegram group full of kids that are putting down each other?

I would stay here if I were you.
You will learn a lot if you could put your time into more reading.
I haven't even go to the section where everything is deep to understand but yet I still learned a lot.

As a fan of Nikola Jokic I have followed the latest news about him and they affirm that he is in Serbia he is asymptomatic waiting a week to travel to Denver.
Where do we find sources and updates about him and other NBA players that test positive?

For me, I follow Adrian Wojnarowski.
He has always updated whatever the scoop is inside the NBA.
One of the veteran reporters of ESPN so there is no problem with this guy. His trust ratings are high.

I also found the tweet about Jokic on his profile.

I think someone recommended to me about Adrian here in this thread too.
Whoever that is, I am really grateful coz I can now get updates of what is happening inside NBA.  Grin
Alright, this is a great source then.

Thank you for that Reid. Any other source/s will be appreciated if there are still some more.

I'm excited to see the first match next month.

Your welcome.
It's faster that way.
You can follow other analysts and reporters of ESPN and Fox Sports if you want more updates.

Great thing about it is you can just turn on notifications from tweeter so that you will be kept posted even if you are not browsing the application.
I actually muted my phone for a while because my wife is getting furious with the notification tone.  Grin

3576  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else see a big bitcoin upwards movement coming very soon? on: June 27, 2020, 05:18:45 PM
Sad to say but No, since the pandemic is not yet resolve so provably the crisis will continue until this disease will not be end by this year or maybe next, so many struggles interms on financial matters on this year so might we will see the big movements once the all investors are settled financially. But let's hope that this new normal thing will give a good benefit with bitcoin since might it will give a blessing with disguise for bitcoins.

I was going to say the same thing.
Not all of people can afford it now.
It will be best to save their money in case something bad will happen which is just around the corner since the virus is still spreading.

I have high hopes that if ever a vaccine will be created soon, it will be free for the mass.
Save lives first before profit. The government should shoulder it all if they still want living people to govern.
3577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FOX prepared to add virtual fans and crowd noise to NFL broadcasts on: June 27, 2020, 03:12:17 PM
I haven't watched any live sports games until now.
Baseball, soccer, NFL, or NBA.

Is it really happening already? Virtual crowd, sounds, and cheers?
I just can't imagine it yet. Like the sounds while playing NBA2k and Madden?
3578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you stacking your SATs now! on: June 27, 2020, 02:04:17 PM
I've regretted my past already and forgotten it.
Now you reminded me again of the wrong choices I made.  Grin

Before, it was important for me to have at least 100k sats every day doing faucets which is an easy task.
Now, you cannot do that anymore.
Sold them for a few bucks because I don't trust bitcoin yet.
If I could go back I would change it.
The only good thing about it is the experience of selling it and a little bit of help for necessities.

3580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICO vs Bad ICO on: June 27, 2020, 05:54:54 AM
It's not easy to determine what a good or bad ICO will be.
It requires deep analysis until you find signals if it is a scam or not.

First, go to their whitepaper. It should not look like a copy of another ICO.
You could contact some veterans in this field to pinpoint legitimacy. Especially those who have been reading a lot of whitepapers, someone with experience.
Take some time to look at the team too. Better if you could find a way to video call them.
There had been a history of ICO created by students who used photos and information of their professors as the team behind the ICO.

Dig more.
