I think the protocol in these cases is that the infected person remains isolated for 14 days and repeats the test in 5 days. Training at the Disney World Sports Complex will begin on July 11. Hopefully these athletes can resume training if they are retested, negative for Coronavirus. As a fan of Nikola Jokic I have followed the latest news about him and they affirm that he is in Serbia he is asymptomatic waiting a week to travel to Denver.

I can't find a full transparent list of players whose positive with Covid-19 virus. They just said 16/302 players are already positive.
Here you can read the answer ; https://www.wsj.com/articles/5-of-nba-players-test-positive-for-the-virus-115931910615% of NBA Players Test Positive for the Virus Tests showed that 16 of 302 players were positive in the league’s first round of coronavirus testing before the NBA attempts to restart in July That means 16 of 302 players tested are positive from covid-19. So I guess all the test will be over soon and we will know the final result on how many players are infected by the virus.

Here you go, man: They also didn’t reveal which players tested positive, but NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said that none of the players was seriously ill.
Source: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wsj.com/amp/articles/5-of-nba-players-test-positive-for-the-virus-11593191061Rest assured they'll comeback to their respective teams sooner. They probably just need to take rest, and be negative with the virus again. Besides they were athletes, and their bodies are more healthier than just a normal person . 5% of NBA Players Test Positive for the Virus Tests showed that 16 of 302 players were positive in the league’s first round of coronavirus testing before the NBA attempts to restart in July That means 16 of 302 players tested are positive from covid-19. I just hope this wouldn't blew out more than to what it was already. 'Cause damn, it is just a few more weeks, man. Everybody must be present specially teams who were fighting for 8th spot .

One of the veteran reporters of ESPN so there is no problem with this guy. His trust ratings are high. I also found the tweet about Jokic on his profile. https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1275533428868382724I think someone recommended to me about Adrian here in this thread too. Whoever that is, I am really grateful coz I can now get updates of what is happening inside NBA.

Everybody must be present specially teams who were fighting for 8th spot . 5% is huge but if we translate it to numbers, it is not that huge. What I did is I made some research now about the number of NBA players in the league, so here's the answer. How many players are there in the NBA in total?According to NBA.com’s FAQs, “each NBA team can have a maximum of 15 players, 13 of which can be active each game” considering that there are 30 franchises in the league, that means that if every team has all active spots filled on their roster, then there are a maximum of 450 players in the NBA at any given time, and a maximum of 390 of whom are active players available to play in a game.
This means if they have a maximum of 450 players, there would be more test that will be made, and I'm optimistic that only few will be added to that as I'm hoping the NBA would successfully resume.

NBA just released their schedule for the restart of the 19/20 season and we have some good opening games: July 30: Jazz vs Pelicans 6:30 pm ET July 30: Clippers vs Lakers 9:00 pm ET Full schedule can be found here: https://stats.nba.com/schedule/Great games to restart season. I have deja vu because the beginning of this season was very similar: LAL-LAC and NOP-Raptors. I remember it well because I was waiting for it just as impatiently as I am now. I hope that the covid-19 will not prevent the restart of the season and the players will have time and conditions to rebuild their form.

Ohhhh lakers versus clippers as return game! That game will have one of the highest ratings of a sports game in a long time, it will probably get like a finals level of rating. Not just because it is Lakers versus clippers which does have a big role in it, those are the teams that people expected to be champions at the start of the season and had the highest odds of becoming champions according to sportsbooks no matter which team you support.
However, it will also get a lot of viewers since people also have been waiting for NBA to come back for a long time and now that they are getting back and getting back with such an awesome game everyone around the world will watch it. Plus, if you live in Europe where timezone is harder, it will be summer and there will be a lot more people either on vacation or students that will watch the game as well.

I plan to watch Jazz vs Pelicans, but unfortunately Clippers vs Lakers will be a bit too late for me. Looking at the Friday schedule, it is good to see that there will be games that will start early, so fans in Europe like me will be able to watch some games at decent times. Even Celtics vs Bucks won't be too late. I just hope that they won't put "weaker" games early all the time, while those best ones at the prime time.

You can follow other analysts and reporters of ESPN and Fox Sports if you want more updates. Great thing about it is you can just turn on notifications from tweeter so that you will be kept posted even if you are not browsing the application. I actually muted my phone for a while because my wife is getting furious with the notification tone. https://twitter.com/malika_andrews/status/1276604695629438977?s=20Adam Silver says that if there is a “significant spread" of COVID-19 in the bubble, "that may lead us to stopping” play.

Any other source/s will be appreciated if there are still some more. Yeah, Adrian Wojnarowski was the best source. It is kind of hard to find other as good as him. But as an alternative for a quick news and updates I used to follow some nba related facebook pages. Like these two:
- This means if they have a maximum of 450 players, there would be more test that will be made, and I'm optimistic that only few will be added to that as I'm hoping the NBA would successfully resume.
And deduct those team who wouldn't be able to participate on July 30. But whatever, thanks for the stats dude . I'm hoping too, for it to resume successfully, specially first games are totally interesting... can't wait to watch Lakeshow play on the basketball court again .

First game would also not be the same, we will witness the first game in the NBA that has no crowd, I don't know how it would feel, I know it was not as entertaining as what we are used to watching, but it's a big success for the NBA and us fans to finally see the season resume. I'm excited to watch the Lakers vs Clippers as they are both intact as of now, and they are the best teams in the West. A match up that everyone wants to see in the West, and it's a possible WCF match up. LEONARD for the WIN, LOL>> who's your bet?

Where do we find sources and updates about him and other NBA players that test positive? Probably the best place get all updates regarding player status is Player Status Tracker. It shows not only those that are tested positive on Covid-19, but also all those that are unavailable for other reasons like injuries, or simply opting out of rest of the season due personal reasons, like Willie Cauley-Stein, and new acquisitions.
In another news, NBA is thinking about allowing players to wear personalized social justice message on the back of their jerseys. Might be a good compromise with those that wanted NBA not to continue due all those racial issues, and it definitely makes more sense that just ending the season due that. Irwing, Howard and others that were vocal should be happy with this decision, imho. NBA could allow players to wear social justice messages on jerseys.

Well, it would be a great way to raise their voices and send a message. However, if NBA wants to stop racial issues they might start getting serious measures for that. Maybe put some pressure to the government in order to provoke a change. Messages are not going to help on the long term.

For a change and to show that NBA is against racism, then I think this is a good one. There will be a lot of eyes on them as more people now are just staying at home so they can deliver the message effectively to the whole world. Though this controversy happened in USA but everyone should know that we have to treat everyone equally as we are both human. BLACK LIVES MATTER,...what NBA is doing is a good initiative.

What kind of measures would you advise, how exactly can NBA pressure governments? Honestly I don't see a way for that to happen, nor it would be wise to do so. Stopping NBA all together? That could only affect NBA and people around it, therefore it would be like shooting yourself in the foot. For a change and to show that NBA is against racism, then I think this is a good one. There will be a lot of eyes on them as more people now are just staying at home so they can deliver the message effectively to the whole world.
Everyone knows that NBA is against racism, and they showed it before, like when they forced Donald Sterling to sell Clippers, banned him from NBA for life and fined him 2.5 million USD. This would more like a compromise with those that didn't want to continue with NBA season, so they can basically do both things; support what is important to them and still play this season.

I know that story but not everyone for sure know about what NBA did in the past to fight racism. This time it's more visible, while they are playing people will be seeing messages on the back of their uniform so it's really a good way to show support, and I also hope that Irving and Howard and all those NBA players who are thinking of not playing when the season resume will change their mind.

It's not that easy when you have something that is already settled. Got to respect whatever their decision is. We love NBA and we want to watch every star player as much as we could but there are circumstances which they need to pass. Just like how we are when we are students. We skip school if we are not feeling better. That is not absence but more like an excuse. Same thing that is happening with them. They didn't do it to upset people but they are supporting the movement.

My expectations will be this early games will have less defence and some adjustment to the new atmosphere of their coliseum.
