3561  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anonymous against Elon Musk and his BTC and crypto market manipulations! on: June 07, 2021, 02:45:28 PM
It is unlikely that they will be able to harm Elon in any way. Or am I wrong?

I would advise him to invest in good antivirus, maybe MacAfee Grin Grin Grin

Elon will be hacked, soon we will read his emails  Wink

Like anybody on the planet, he is not safe online, don't mention all these high tech companies, soon we will see how secure they are in reality.

LMAO  Grin Grin The important fact here is both Elon and McAfee are shillers in crypto community.

I think soon we will have anonymous tweets from his twitter account. That would be hillarious since Elon used twitter to shill about bitcoin.

Nobody is safe online. Eveyone is hackable and it just requires enough skills for hackers to hack anybody.
It's really exciting for hackers to challenge the richest personality in public.
3562  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell My Portfolio for 75% of a Bitcoin? on: June 07, 2021, 02:35:34 PM
That would probably be a bad idea. I know how it feels because similar to you even I have the dream of holding one whole bitcoin.
But if I were in your place then I would not sell all my altcoins to hold 0.75 BTC. If the altcoins you hold do have a lot of potential then may be they might give you more than 1 BTC all combined but if you convert your altcoins to bitcoin then they will stay 0.75 only. Yes, the opposite can also happen and you might lose the amount in bitcoin pair as well but that's the risk you have to take.
Also, we should never put all our eggs in one basket and diversify our portfolio but I do think that 10 coins are a lot.
I think 5 are sufficient and you can exchange the rest to bitcoins. Eventually it should be your final call.
3563  Local / India / Re: HDFC, SBI Warn Customers Of Restrictions If They Deal In Cryptocurrency on: June 06, 2021, 04:17:01 PM
This notification came from the RBI, everything should be okay from now on.
~snip
https://rbi.org.in/Scripts/NotificationUser.aspx?Id=12103&Mode=0

Wow, thanks for posting this here. I didn't knew RBI has made an announcement on this matter.
It's good to know RBI has even acknowledged the matter and has further made an announcement to disregard any such emails from the banks.
I had seen few people complaining about receiving such emails. Now we can tell them not to worry about it since RBI has made a clear announcement.

Crypto bill will definitely be tabled in the upcoming monsoon session in the parliament and I fear that cryptocurrencies will face prohibition in India. So I would say, please don't use any Indian centralized crypto exchange as of now. Exercise extreme caution and don't go beyond p2p trading.

We will need patience to see how the things move on.

Wazirx has already stopped payments using UPI/IMPS/RTGS since they are facing banking issues. Half of the people would have already stopped depositing on wazirx due to this.
But yeah, I think this issue will be sorted soon and we will be able to use it again. Although we have read rumors about the crypto ban, I think there won't be a complete ban but may be regulation or restriction on cryptocurrencies as payments. Only time will tell how the Indian government proceeds with cryptocurrencies.
3564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 06, 2021, 04:06:28 PM
It's quite simple. If you lose a bet, whom would you blame ?
God or luck or yourself ?
Most people blame their luck and not God himself. Gambling does require a luck factor and the people who pray before gambling just do it to get the luck by their side.
But has luck ever been "called" ?
It just sometimes work and sometimes not. It has just become a habit for people to pray before they do something which rewards them something.
3565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 06, 2021, 03:59:14 PM
I’d really like to see Mayweather humiliate the Youtube dude to be honest. The Paul brothers are becoming really irritating, they’re not fighters, they’re getting involved in a scene where they don’t belong. I really hope he gets knocked out tonight.
They've even get to Floyd's skin, which we rarely see him in his boxing career, even in his Conor fight, Floyd wasn't affected. But this Paul brothers are pulling stunts that we haven't seen and obviously, Floyd got irritated and for sure he might take it personally and knock the f**k out of Logan Paul. They've already get the attention of some fans so for sure they have to make good of this "show".

What else can the Youtubers do than to perform these disrespectful acts. Logan has disrespected Mayweather and we can clearly see how pissed he was.
I am quite sure that Floyd Mayweather will kick his ass out and knock him off rapidly. Soon we will get to know how long the match lasted.  Grin
3566  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: June 06, 2021, 03:46:32 PM

Well thats true, freebitco.in has a simple yet fast site which is important for gamblers to play without having any issue or animations that are not really necessary. I just wonder why they are not making any changes but nevertheless like what i've said it does not matter as long as the site is working perfectly.

What changes would you like to see? More games or ? I wouldn't change too much to the site, if they keep adding new stuff like the WOF, than everything is good for me.
I have already seen a lof of sites and forums who changed their site completely and that saw the activity drop with 50% or more and never could recover from it.

That is quite true. Even I have noticed a few websites which have completely changed since their inception.
Although they add new features and games but their overall look and feel of the website get changed a lot which might not necessarily be liked by all.
Freebitco.in has been doing a really good job in maintaining the traditional website which is why I think investors and gamblers prefer to keep using the site more.
3567  Economy / Speculation / Re: The US dollar could run out soon - Gold can lose value - Elon musk on: June 05, 2021, 03:14:44 PM

Also, Elon Musk doesn't have so much power that he can create a bear market for a long term.
Yes he does have a huge influence but his influence over the crypto community is getting diminished and people are starting to realize his bogus tweets.
Hence the market will become more mature towards such shillers and act on their own analysis going forward.

Hmmm. I beg to disagree. Elon Musk is the top 2 richest man in the world. He can easily wreck or pump the crypto market at his own will just like what he was doing right now. A few Billion bucks from him can dictate the direction of the market that's why he is always confident on what he is shilling regardless on how garbage it was just like Doge.

History has shown us the worst dumps and the current correction is not that big of a deal when compared to the previous ones.
Even if Elon dumps his bitcoins and wreck the market the market will recover sooner or later.
Nothing lasts forever. Bitcoin won't go to zero. It might takes months or years to recover but after that we will see another ATH.
3568  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do i need to be a successful trader ? on: June 05, 2021, 03:11:51 PM
i learned about
Japanese candles
classic analysis
EW theory
harmonic analysis

and about the Indications, i learned how to use
RSI
MACD
stoch rsi
and volume profile

should I add anything to this?

Yes you should add one of the most important things to this list and that is practice and experience.
If you practice well you will get good experience and with that you will be well prepared for anything that comes in your way.
You will become more aware of how the market behaves and thus you will be able to use the indicators well and strategize accordingly.
Just learning about the indicators won't do you any good because eventually you will have to put it to practice and only that will give you the perfection.
3569  Economy / Speculation / Re: The US dollar could run out soon - Gold can lose value - Elon musk on: June 05, 2021, 03:07:01 PM
The US dollar could run out soon - Gold can lose value - Elon Musk

The US dollar could run out soon - Gold can lose value - As because Elon Musk is trying to get investors out of the crypto market. If investors lose interest due to Elon Musk and Bitcoin long-run bearish position, the US dollar might completely lose its value and exchanges can create decentralized fiat currencies having greater value than USD. Bitcoin might be replaced by another currency too like BNB as due to hacking attempts, people would like to move on centralized exchange tokens because it cannot be hacked.

Now who said you that centralized exchange tokens cannot be hacked ?
When centralized exchange can itself be hacked why not their tokens ? Besides, if an exchange is hacked the hacker can transfer all the coins in it's wallet as well.

3570  Economy / Exchanges / Grid trading on Binance on: June 05, 2021, 02:28:25 PM
So I just saw this grid trading option on binance futures and thought to try it out. At first it looked like a nice strategy but then it was completely weird.

I created a grid with 8 grids and 4x leverage but as soon as the grid order was created it should have bought some initial coins but it didn't.
I saw some youtube video and they said that if the initial order is not placed then we should terminate the grid and adjust the upper boundary price to get the initial order executed.
This looks weird. Can somebody who has used it explain why this happens or is it a bug at binance's end ?
3571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall from 65k to $30k was the best thing to ever happen to Bitcoin on: June 04, 2021, 04:40:08 PM
Everything has it's own pros and cons and it's just our perspective and priority towards it.
Bitcoin price going down might be earth shattering news for some while the same is also a buying opportunity for the other.
For me it doesn't matter really. True bitcoiners will HODL it and care less about the current price.
I am not a "Never sell" kind of person but I do use my coins whenever I am in need it of it.
3572  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you done listening to Elon ? on: June 04, 2021, 03:45:06 PM
So now that bitcoin is recovering well from it's drop we can expect a bull run again.
We all know how Elon pumped and then dumped the market through his influential tweets.
This what happens when people listen to others blindly and invest.
DYOR (Do Your Own Research) is the approach that everyone should follow.
Don't panic sell. There will be many such waves and many such influential people who might try to manipulate the market again.
HODL has always proved to be strong.

Why this thread ? - It's more like a wake up call to newbies and all those who blindly follow others.

P.S : I voted for 3rd option
So glad that you put the third option there, however I am surprised that no has selected the first option which is they had to learn the hard way, we know there were many people following everything he said and there were even bots that were developed to invest in the market based on his tweets, it seems to me some people are in denial about what happened and this is dangerous as it may happen again once another charismatic institutional investor comes and they follow him blindly once again.

Well we do have one person now who learnt the hard way  Grin . The fact is that there are still many people who still follow others blindly.
But at the same time I happy that most of the people acknowledge the fact that influence can get you wrecked.

At first place, I didn't listen to him anyway. I'm just sticking to my plans and will not listen to influencers like him.
I've seen McAfee shilling some ICO's back in the past and I ignored. We saw Elon Shit doing some manipulative things by just tweeting optimistic posts about Bitcoin and many followed him Cheesy.

I hope that those newbies who followed him and lost their money learned from this mistake that they've made. Blindly following others without having your own strategy is a deadly strategy Smiley. Make your own strategy, hodl if you want too and DYOR like many others are saying.

I've seen many comments in twitter begging to Elon to pump the market because its obvious that they lose their money. I can't feel sorry for them for what they've done because for me, it is a lesson for them.

I am sure the old timers would definitely know what happens when such influential people shill about crypto.
We have witnessed it before and the history repeats itself with a new personality this time.
Things haven't changed much though. This is why sticking to our own research and strategy is the best way to survive in the crypto community.
3573  Other / Off-topic / Re: Listen to Elon , if you want to make money and save the planet! on: June 03, 2021, 05:05:15 PM
Just because Elon pointed out a fatal flaw in BTC energy wasteful PoW design ,
(Which others have been pointing out since 2013.)

How come such a knowledgeable person who can find a fatal flaw in bitcoin's energy consumption not care about electricity wastage and still design electric cars ?

Quote
Kind of shows, he is going to win, don't you think.  Smiley
He will win by accumulating all the Dogecoins and pumping it's price but you will lose listening to him blindly.

Quote
So yeah, however he bets, I will bet.
Then you should vote for the second option.

Quote
FYI:
You should edit out the my god, in your survey as that is consider blasphemous to people that have real faith.

Thanks for the suggestion.

So now that bitcoin is recovering well from it's drop we can expect a bull run again.
Again? Did we enter the bear market momentarily or was it a deep correction during a bullrun?

Uhh, I keep forgetting that. Thanks for the reminder. The bull run was never over  Grin
3574  Economy / Economics / Re: A bubble is when price is not justified on: June 03, 2021, 04:48:51 PM
What makes Bitcoin valuable to me is because it's unique, better and safer Network/System.

I don't think this is true. What makes bitcoin valuable to you is that other people think it's valuable. You wouldn't be paying $40,000 per coin if everyone else thought it was paying $10,000 just because it's "unique, better and safer Network/System." Your perception of what bitcoin is worth and whether it's overvalued or undervalued is inextricably linked to what other people think of it. If that wasn't the case, you would have never stopped buying when it was sub $1000. The problem was you didn't know what it was worth then, because nobody else did either. And nothing has changed there. Nobody still knows what it's worth because it's all just speculation, and the speculation is about what other people are going to think about it in the future that's going to determine its value.

An inability to value it and just investing based on speculation are why it's a bad investment choice for me.

That makes sense. I think most of the times people think bitcoin is too costly because one bitcoin is worth $40k or $60k whatever the price is.
But they look at the fact that they can own 0.1 bitcoin for $4k or $6k respectively too. I have experienced this because of many of my friends joined the crypto community lately.
Many started buying altcoins and thought bitcoin is overvalued and too expensive to buy. I made them understand that they still have the option to buy in decimals and own their bitcoins.
Many people look at the quantity and the how potential the coin is.

3576  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2021 starting to look like 2013 more than 2017 on: June 02, 2021, 04:04:56 PM
May be that is true and may be it isn't but the charts show that bitcoin is ready for pumping up again.
According to my analysis if bitcoin breaks $38300 then it will soon cross $42k and might settle down somewhere above that price.
Currently BTC is at $38k and I believe in next one or two days we might see some green gains in bitcoin.  Smiley
If it follows the 2013 pattern then may be this might be the beginning of the pump we all are waiting for.

I won a golden ticket today from the free spins. That's the highest value reward that I've won so far from the spins. I see that one golden ticket costs 25,000 sats.

That's pretty amazing. I have never won a golden ticket till date. You must be lucky to get it.
Even though it's just one golden ticket, a good luck can make you win the lottery.
I wish you all the luck and hope that you win in the lottery  Smiley

I would have had a mini heart attack if that would have happened to me. But yeah it's completely unacceptable for such a lame response from them.
You should keep trying until your money is refunded to your wallet whether it be the new version or the old one.
I think even binance should have mentioned it on their withdrawal page about the network change.
Both Binance and CEX are at fault on this one.

Dictatorship has been around since ages and it won't stop any time soon. We must know what is good for us and only proper education can get us that knowledge.
Freedom should always be our choice but we should also know how to find loop holes in the system to use them for our benefits.
CBDC(Central Bank Digital Currency) can be a good because it will eventually promote cryptocurrencies.
Once the majority population adopts cryptocurrencies they will educate themselves about it and will know decentralized cryptocurrencies are their way to freedom.
