How much did you spend to become a witness and what is your income now as a witness?
I wonder if become a witness is profitable or just a status symbol.

Right now I'm using a server in Germany that cost like $40 a month.  KLYE helped me get set up and I gave him a tip.

It isn't profitable right now, but I think once I build up a following + trust that we will help spin the STEEM network... maybe it will make some money for my team.

We won't know if we don't try!

I don't think we've even found a block yet.

Please consider voting for us (@BayAreaCoins & @Kyle). You have to manually type my name in at the bottom of the list.

FreeBitcoins.com is about to launch a Steemit campaign this week... I'll post with updates.

My name on that sheet is Snorlax. I frequent Just Dice with that name.

I want my address changed from:

To:

Thanks for verifying snorlax. Changing your address and refunding the remaining 0.0245 BTC worth of shares outstanding.

Sent 0.1 BTC (read my sheet wrong and oversent) to snorlax to buy back his 0.245 BTC worth of shares. Hopefully he sends it back shortly.

What happened bb?

Sent snorlax 0.1 BTC instead of 0.0245 BTC because I read the wrong column and now he's claiming he has no record of me repaying him the 0.1 a few years back. Oh well. If he's that hard up he can have it I guess.

Do you not have Blockchain evidence?

I got two of a number of things.

I need to sell these, so I can buy a new vending machine.

Also,  I figured out how to put the drum in and out easy!  There is a little switch you can flip to hold the bolt back... makes life SO much easier.

steem deposit still pending after 3 days on poloniex. apparently, their wallet is down, no announcements. no support ticket answers. nothing. fucking horrible exchange

Never use Poloniex, lesson learned.
You can use Bittrex for both Steem and Steem Backed Dollar. It has very nice volume.

I'm assuming no body from CLAM with any relation whatsoever to the people behind it by any chance had a few hundred K addresses in May 12 of 2014? what I want to know is, why just on that date?

You should go ask the CLAM developers in their thread:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623147.0

They've probably answered those questions at least 100 times.

This specific date as a requirement to receive the coins is what I have problem with

I like the snapshot date with the no stress to claim style distributions.  I really dislike things that require you to be there in person on a specific date such as Byteballs.

please I never said you were stealing, I'm just impressed by the cleverness of you and I'm mad why I have no share in doing similar projects,

I didn't create CLAMS.

These open source cryptocurrency projects... you can be as involved as you want to be!

perhaps it is because money earned in this way has no place at my table.

I don't see our service as a negative thing.  Roll Eyes

Hey I imported like 4 addresses and like 10 working wallets
I received 1 payment for one of the addresses, am I going to get paid for the rest as well?

Pretty sure I know which one you are referencing... I was paying faster than you were digging Cheesy I'm about to go to bed... I don't like falling asleep owing people coins!

Thank you!!

I do lump payments together in order to save you on fees... which digs?

Your payment should be shown as pending under the "Pending digs" and for wallet digs you need to look in its own section. (we are working on combining the two)

This idea is one of the most idiotic ideas I have ever seen in my life, they give money to people holding Bitcoins or other alts back in 2013-2014?

We give Bitcoins to people who held a Bitcoin, Litecoin or Dogecoin balance over dust.

if you have the guts I dare you to give Bitcoins to private keys that had once some coins in them. lol

I strongly advise only using empty retired addresses, but we do no save private keys and the keys are ran through a open source program.

We aren't here to steal balances, launder coins or anything else shitty.  We aren't saving keys in hopes of a Bytecoin or blah blah blah.

I'm not touching Clam anyways, I'm not stupid to give it value to such stupid coin but I guess there are some people with unlimited money to give this value in the first time.

That's OK.  There isn't a time limit on touching your CLAMS.  You also can short CLAM @ Poloniex.  CLAM is a unlimited coin as well... there will be one CLAM created per minute forever.  Proof of Stake based on Proof of Work.

What happens if I suddenly decide to launch a coin telling people if you have used a Bitcoin address more than 20 times then you are eligible to receive the exact amount as your total balance and then give a few thousands of dollars to my friends telling them to go and start buying my coin in the exchanges to give a legitimate look to it and then all the idiots in crypto which fortunately for me there are many of them will pump my coin to the moon and I just sit back and jump some girls some times when I'm bored and eat to get fat just to laugh my ass off that I was able to earn so much money so easily. 5 lolz.

Omg what an easy targets you people are, now I know why so many shit coins exist, since you all don't know how to spend your money, scammers have found a way to take them from you by ICOs and shit coins.

Feel free to launch your own open source shitcoins.

I didn't create CLAM or Bitcoin & I don't code either.

Our project has one developer.

Impressive... I just got around 20$ for my old address. and didn't really cut tx fees to worry about.

We aim to please *slow bows*

Thanks for using your service!

What are these clams exactly? It would be great if someone could help me out.

I would be surprised if that is a poloniex address. I think they move most of their coins to cold storage shortly after receiving them, and no coin have ever moved from that address.

My poloniex address looks similar & a similar balance.

I've never seen a cold storage sweep, like what you used to do.

So I tried digging one of my old address and it gave me this: "This dig must be processed manually because no payment processor was available. Please allow up to 48 hours for its payment to complete." is it natural or???

That's normal!

Right now I'm manually processing all dig payouts by hand.

Shapeshift was overcharging customers for miner fees.

All digs from last night have been processed <3  Thanks for digging!

This will be automated in the future as well, but right now we have soooo much more important stuff being developed and I enjoy the leg work a little (in a sick twisted way Tongue.)

is there a kind of bitcoin wallet that is better suited for claiming ClamCoins?
The Bitcoin wallet had to be in use ON May 12, 2014.

yes i am aware of this. what i want to know is which wallet among the many wallets out there will make it easier to import to get the clams? thanks for the response

My website FreeBitcoins.com allows Core and now MultiBit.  https://freebitcoins.com/clamchecker/dig_wallet/

I'm not sure about what the CLAM client does.

To whom it may concern:
I am preparing a book possibly an article dealing with cryptocurrency.
The topics will include a brief summary and description of the cryptocurrency market place as well as a look at the art work associated with the various logos.

Many of the currencies do not have any notes or guidelines for use of their logos.  Hence I am contacting the currencies I am including requesting permission to use their logo images as part of the material.
Please  indicate so in a reply to this message.
Regards,
Bob Erlandson

You can use the CLAM logos.

Also, the estimated price says 'excluding tx fees', how much fees will be paid? I don't want to estimate something and then it goes busted in fees.

Affiliate pay is always flat CLAMS.

100% for faucet use & 0.10545574 CLAM for each address dug.  We pay out on the same block as the person you bring as well.

Tx fees... I'll send kef here for that, but I'm thinking it's like... nothing (CLAM tx fees are cheap.)

I really like your idea about multi single address digging.  I'll talk to kef about implementing that soon... sounds easy enough!

Is there some registration for affiliate? or can use some type of links to do it without register?

No registration required.

You should use a Just-dice.com deposit address.

Example: freebitcoins.com?ref=xYourJustdiceDepositAddress

https://freebitcoins.com/referral/

We pay affiliates in CLAMS and you get paid 100% for faucet use and .1xxxxxCLAMS each dig.
