This is a newbie question. I'm sure the experts here know this at the top of their head.
I have two Antminer S1s and both an AX1200 and an RM1000 at my disposal (from earlier desktop builds). The Antminers are overclocked to 393 clock.
1. Which power supply should I go with?
2. Since AX1200 has higher efficiency, does this mean I actually use less watts at the wall? Trying to balance out the circuit. I also run a desktop pc on the same circuit with an HX850 (running an OC-ed 290x and 4770k processor). The circuit is 110V/15A.
3. Can the circuit take a third ant?
I saw that someone say that one of the optimal configurations is to run 3 ants on two corsair 750M. There are enough PCI-E cables to do this and you can run miners overclocked (with enough power). I have this setup, but did not overclock yet. How is that even possible? 2 Ants = 720w 3 Ants = 1080w EDIT: Sorry I missed the "two" part. Nevermind ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Bitmain, is it possible to change the location of your wallet or create a new one? My wallet is not on blockchain.info and I can still receive funds
Bro they are using blockchain API because they can automatically create a new address for each order and therefor track down payments and verify them. You can check that when you place an order with them. All they require is 1 confirmation for your payment. Manually creating a new address is not an option for them when they have so many units to deliver.

Does your PSU have 4+4 plugs? If it does just do it the old fashioned way for one blade. The same thing happened to me yesterday. My PSU had specs of 2 PCI-E 6+2 but they were chained so really it was just one. So I stripped the 4+4 plugs and did it the old fashioned way for one of the blades. Works fine so far ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) EDIT: Remember if you go this way with the 4+4 you will be left with two exposed wires. Tape them carefully. Safety first ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Have you heard of "weekends"? Most people don't work on Saturday and Sunday. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) NOT Bitmain. The only time they took a break was on CNY. Also, OP have you considered asking them for another miner? Just cover the price difference and get another miner ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Would it be possible to halt all mining power except say 1 PH/s worth, and let the difficulty readjust normally (keep in mind that bitcoin difficulty would be 30x less), and have like a first come first serve sort of thing where for all OTHER bitcoin miners to begin mining again, they would have to sign up to a "queue", and be entered in as the rest of everyone ahead of them are allowed to mine again. Would this be possible? Would it actually make bitcoin difficulty MUCH easier until everyone was back in from the "queue", or am I just thinking too much?
The purpose of mining is to secure the network. "Free coins" are the compensation, not the reason. It isn't feasible but if it was, it would undermine the security of the network and allow an attacker to accomplish an attack with a 97% reduction in cost. ^^^ First thing that came to my mind.

Can I use psu with 2-6+2 pcie and leave the 2 pin part dangling?
Yes, just the 6pin part is needed. You can tape it up if you want.

So I placed an order for 3 today and sent payment immediately. The website shows unpaid and expired for the order. How do I get assistance for this?
Order ID: 00120140317164528225mI9hv4WL069A
block chain is fucked up you need to wait it out Sorry I'm a noob - can you help me understand why blockchain.info being down has anything to do with my order status on bitmaintech.com? Does bitmaintech.com solely rely on blockchain.info for BTC transaction confirmations? Bitmain uses the blockchain API. So yes.

Only when I enter the IP address, written on the white sticker on the antminer, I get a black screen with the words 'LuCI - Lua Configuration Interface'. After a few seconds this screen disappears and there's no connection anymore.
I ran into the same problem. I think it is trying to load the interface but not able to. So the IP address is correct and you are connected to the S1. I would guess a power issue. What PSU are you using? has it got enough oomph? Corsair 600 Watt 80PLUS recommended. I'm using a 450w psu I used a few years back. Thought it would do the job. But if it's my psu, why did it load the interface the first time for me to change the wan settings? I didn't enter my mining credentials yet. Hard reset your miner then connect to it again.

How much Bitmaintech value declares for customs (for Antminer s1) ? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Thanks EU 250USD Not in my case. The declared value was 500 USD each. Still waiting for bitmain to reply to my pm so that we may make some kind of arrangements because I got stuck into paperwork and of course *HUGE* additional expenses!!! Think Bitmain needs to update on what they mark for each place they sent too!! 500USD plus current value makes them so expensive! I can't imagine the price of the S2 at customs!! It's not their fault.. Want to undervalue your invoice ? Live outside EU.. In EU there's a saying about such practice it's called FRAUD... It's not bitmain's fault when your custom officers is a member in bitcointalk and do their job. The problem with customs is only with DHL shipments.

Hi, is possible to pay in dollar with credit card?
Thanks W_M
Not unless you can find a member that will sell you his/her coins. You could use Virwox but unless you have a verified account there (or Neteller) then no.

Are there no alternatives to PoS and PoW? I like neither of them.
Currently working on an alt which uses PoA - Proof of Awesomeness. The algorithm is in development, but looks sort of like this: if(User.Current.Name == "5flags") { RewardWith(100); } else { RewardWith(1); } It will need some tweaking to get it right, but it's approximately OK. Try this: var headsToget:Number = 0; if("S4VV4S" == "awesome"){ // give this guy a blowj*b rewardWith("ablowj*b"); headsToget++; }else{ if("S4VV4S" == "too awesome"){ // reward this guy with two blowj*bs rewardWith("twoblowj*bs"); headsToget += 2; } for(i=0; i<headsToget; i++){ trace("S4VV4S got" + i + "Blowj*bs"); } Does that help?

If that value is plausible then I would like to buy a "be", Pat. It goes between the "could" and the "worth." Correct! Also BTC will not reach that price. At least not until 2025 or something. I believe in BTC and I love it. But it is too early for that price.
