That is now all in the past, as the team has learned from their mistakes. We would have heard about Graham Potter's dismissal during Abramovich's time in charge as Chelsea owner; it was a one-man decision back then, but it is not in this case. I didn't want Graham to leave the club in this way; he was a fantastic coach before joining the team. Maybe he didn't have what it takes to coach a large team yet, but I wish him the best of luck. Let's see what Frank Lampard has to offer before the season ends.

The Chelsea management led by Todd Boehly was really patient with Graham Potter. He was given all the necessary things he needed such as quality players and freedom to coordinate the team but he failed to prove that he could perform his task effectively. Roman Abramovich wouldn't have endured this poor performance for a long time, Potter would have gone home many months ago. The task on Lampard now is very huge. He needs to boast the confidence of the team and gain the players' respect. I hope his presence will make players such as Mason Mount and other players sign new contracts and remain in Chelsea. Their biggest boast will be if they can beat Real Madrid.

Spitting shit like you heard from me... Frank Lampard can bloody do that, especially earning player's respect, most player's in thr squad are still his signings, Thiago Silva, Mason Mount seem like he's favorite player lol. So they'll keep them heads together. But I don't trust him when it comes to tactics, I can now say against Manchester United, Manchester United will bloody win that game and Marcus Rashford would be on the score shit.

Frank Lampard signature has just brought hopes for Mason Mount as they'll have agreements on his contract extension, that alone I can stand strong on, he's a Chelsea bound player, he goes nowhere but hr needs to up his game. He's been shitty lately, no wonder Potter drops him on the bench.

Currently Shaw has been sidelined due to injury in the previous match but there is good news for Manchester United where it is said that currently Eriksen and Casemiro have started to train although it is still unclear whether they will play or not against Everton.
But even though it's like that I'm still pretty sure about Manchester United because they also need points to continue to stick to Newcastle in this case so still 3 points is a target that must be owned in this match.
Sure this guys aren't being pushed to fill up the gap in its midfield following the decline in there performance? The absence of both players have been noted and they've got important games up ahead like in the Europa against Sevilla. Though Manchester United is the favourites to win the game and 5he fact that, they would be playing from a home side with all the support of the fans, Sevila is still a good Spanish side and so, they would need the team to be optimum. They've managed it to make it into the top 4  after beating Brentford but, that wasn't easy for them and Brentford almost secures a draw.

Do we think Chelsea had a good result with Liverpool? Because, I still see Chelsea to have failed in not winning that game, sharing points don't help them so much in there current states.

It gladdens me to hear that both Casemiro and Eriksen would be back possibly in the next game against Everton, the first leg of that game saw Ronaldo scoring the winning goal with that fine run and decent pass from Casemiro. I hope they don't snooze and win that game by a good goal margin. We've miss them both, I can wait to have them back. Big games in the Europa League Competition, and also every game in the Premier League is a big game.

That wasn't a bad result, against Liverpool? Chelsea finds it difficult to lose games to them, I can recall that game Steven Gerrard slipped, since then, they haven't lost too much. They are a tough side whenever they hear Liverpool even if not in the best of best form.

It looks like Mourinho is called with not only Chelsea but also with a Saudi Arabian team for next season. They say that he has got an enormous offer by such team already. I wonder if he is really thinking of leaving Europe in this case. I don't know if it is time for him to leave here before reaching a big achievement again. But I don't know if he can achieve it with Roma now.

Chelsea aren't rushing anything for now but I wonder how good they would be with Mourinho. I'm just not sure about him as his usual game plan is a little old from now on.

I'm not sure Jose Mourinho would say no to that offer, The Saudi's are doing more than enough to bring all of Europe's top attractions over them ends, that's the main aim, he might not last so long with that club but then, he's switch to a club in the Saudi's will bring so much awareness and attractions, he's such a big name with the media don't forget. Besides he's already won it all, why not move ? I'm not Jose, but if I was him or any other professional player, I'm accepting the switch already.

Jose Mourinho to Chelsea is a coward move, a defensive coach would strive and not thrive for Chelsea currently. Almost every player for Chelsea are purely attacking minded players, why bring it a defensive coach? No I won't support it.

Man.City, who are in good form in the premier league, have to face Bayern Munich in the quarter finals and this will be tough for them. No matter how strong they are in domestic competition, they always have trouble facing the European giants. On the other side, inter is likely to make it to the semifinals, while madrid vs chelsea and milan vs napoli will be 50% vs 50% matches.
Milan vs Napoli match which will be 50:50. that's because before Napoli could be superior to Milan, but in the previous meeting Napoli were destroyed 0-4. this makes the fight will take place unpredictable. both are pretty even.
but for Madrid vs Chelsea. I don't think Madrid will suffer. at least in the first leg Madrid will win. and in the second leg they will only defend. although I know, sometimes matches in the Champions League are very difficult to predict.

Real Madrid both home and away are not a defending side, when they win and also when they lose, they've always been the best at attacking. I don't expect them to defend especially a weak and tactically disastrous Frank Lampard. The only player I'm a bit scared and respect's in that Chelsea side is Ngolo Kante, he's been absent for so long and doesn't seem like one who's be absent.

He was substituted but wasn't looking tired, not even in the slightest way tired, could be as a result of the game against Wolverampton for the weekend. Napoli will still win and knock AC Milan off the Champions League, don't you take that four goals to nothing win so so seriously. They already lead the table with so much points else they would have won the that game.

Assuming Frank Lampard's talents to integrate into the system are enhanced, I don't think it's good news for the Blues or their supporters. Frank Lampard returning to the club as an interim manager to oversee the team for the remainder of the season is definitely not a good idea, in my opinion, according to Todd Boehly. Due to Frank's lack of expertise managing elite teams like the Blues, Chelsea has a higher risk of obtaining substandard league points. He previously visited as a player before returning as manager before being fired by Roman Arkadyevich Abramovich, the previous owner of Chelsea.

The end of Graham Potter isn't really the end of them moanings, lamentations and agony this season, with Frank Lampard who is no different from Graham Potter I expect almost same results and position. Frank Lampard had it difficult to raise Everton out of relegation do you also expect so much from him when he eventually handles Chelsea ?

I have come to agreements here with you, I expect to see Chelsea down below but not as low as relegation. Todd Boehly already paid off Graham Potter hugely, he would not want to repeat same shit next season, I hope within the next two months he makes good decision on who will impact in Chelsea and the talented player's available.

To play today's match in Premier League, Man United vs Brentford, these two teams entered the field. Man United performed well in the beginning of the game, but Man United could not score any goals after the half time of the game. Brentford was behind by 1 goal in the whole game and 1 due to poor play in the first half of the game.  Brentford lost the match for goals. Man United team player M. Rashford scored 1 goal in 27 minutes to win Man United.

Brentford even if they're underdog's are not such a weak side, non should forget they won Manchester United during the early games of the season, that game was an eye opener for the coach and the players. It wasn't a good way to win rather Manchester United was won by four goals to nothing.

Sabitzer yesterday was impressive, I loved the link up between him and Marcus Rashford, now Rashford knows how to position and stay in the right space for whatever goal. He's goal was nice.
And they defended very well too, Everton would be early kickoff, they should wrap things up immediately and go preparing for Sevilla during the Europa League Competition.
3587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 06, 2023, 05:51:27 AM
That last minute goal by Freiburg really devastated Bayern Munich and Bayern Munich didn't have much time left to answer that unfortunately.

Bayern Munich don't have a good luck in the DFB Pokal tournament for like three seasons actually. The last winners are Leipzig and Dortmund. In those seasons Bayern Munich couldn't even make it to the quarter-finals. Maybe they don't care about this tournament that much anymore. Right now their main focus is on the Bundesliga and Champions League of course. Winning even one of these titles would be a good achievement for the team. But winning the Champions League title would be more special of course.
Very unexpectedly, Bayern Munich lost to SC Freiburg, which should be an easy opponent to beat, but this should be quite calm because yesterday's game was in the DFB League, so it doesn't interfere with what has been fought for in the Bundesliga. I really hope Bayern Munich can be consistent in one league to win.

Unexpected yes, Cup games like this can be very tiring and frustrating. So, For Thomas Tuchel, it's a win a loss what will be the next one?
They really need one or two players in, this of course would be next season. But then, they go against Manchester City in few day they better be in them best minds prepared for that game.

Dortmund are not that bad, but no matter how bad they go, finishing top four has got to be the number one option for them this season.
They better take the loss and blame it on the next side they face during bundesliga games.
3588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 06, 2023, 05:34:53 AM
I really have no idea how Real Madrid won this El Clasico by 4-0 away. It was a Copa del Rey game maybe but both teams were caring about the cup anyway.

Barcelona actually started better but after some time Real Madrid started to play really amazingly. But I still can't believe Barcelona about how easy they lost their concentration this much. They even had a 1-0 score advantage before the beginning of this game. They were just demolished in their home stadium. Real Madrid should be able to go for the cup as well from now on. They really want this obviously.

Yeah, Araujo had a fine save hitting his hips on the wood work, Frank Kessie was also bossing the midfied and having a great game but eventually the tide turned and Real Madrid side of the game finally.

Karim Benzema with another three goals, what a player he's been, hes not what he did last season, but I loved how he played last night, it'll be so damning to see Barcelona edging them with all four wins the season, love the fight Real Madrid brought in for Barcelona yesterday night.

I agree that Manchester United have been out-of-form in the English Premier League for three weeks. But they are very likely to fix this situation now considering their amazing effort against Brentford right now. They are playing a completely one-sided match for now and they are in the lead as well. I expect them to win this and boost their morale. They have another home match against Everton in the league too right before the Sevilla one. But in the same way they should be winning that one as well.

Sevilla still don't seem credible at all. I don't see the strength in them to resist Manchester United's high attacking force. I think Manchester United can get a quite advantageous result in Old Trafford already.

Highest form and best form and whatever anyone has to say, I know Manchester United players will say screw that shit to anything that comes in between them way as they hunt for the Europa League Competition.
Sevilla are also finding them ways back to European football, I'm sure they'll miss out on the Champions League football next season but not so sure with European Competition.

Manchester United Coach, Erik Ten Hag has already won two to three Spanish sides this season, it'll so much gladden me to see he won against another Spanish side this season.
3590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 05, 2023, 08:50:42 PM
It's surprising that Casemiro isn't on the field (usually Ten Hag's "talent" evaporates somewhere when Casemiro isn't playing), but United play solidly. Although they still have obvious problems in attack and any goal from Brandford can spoil the result.
Newcastle obviously won't miss a win and so we're watching live as Liverpool's top 4 chances turn into a mirage - it's hardly realistic to win back 10 points in such a short distance.

I saw on the news Ten Hag said they would have a hard game without Christian Eriksen and Casemiro and this will damage the team but in fact, they should be ready to play without these players and they need to have the potential to play without some key players like Casemiro and Eriksen, however, I guess Eriksen will be ready for the next game in Manchester United against Everton.

The absence of Casemiro has been a big blow on Manchester United and the rest of the midfielder's, we've all had loopholes whenever he's not that player at that position, I hope they get a player that can replicate same way he does next season.
Christian Eriksen of course shouldn't be absent for that game, at least he'll sit on the bench. Casemiro is my major concern, I don't know if he'll be around and ready to play. That said, I'm quite happy since he'll have enough rest for his legs again Sevilla during the Europa League Competition.

Roberto de Zerbi is another name being called with the manager job at Chelsea. But I hope they don't make such move. Because I think Chelsea just need a much more experienced manager who has worked for big teams.

For now they are thinking of the formula that they can bring Lampard until the end of the season as a caretaker manager. I don't see any problem in that though because they don't have much goal left in this season. They have only the Champions League left in their hands now. But their chance is not very much against Real Madrid which is the truth now. There is a really limited time period left for the matches also. Therefore even if they bring a top manager now he will need to take his time to adapt - unless he is familiar with the EPL or Chelsea.

I've currently heard they're in with negotiations with Frank Lampard, honestly, I want to know the difference he has from Graham Potter.
They might both be good coaches to a level but they honestly don't deserve coaching a big side like Chelsea, all that suits them are those underdogs in the Premier League.

Honestly if it's Frank Lampard against Real Madrid, you can go ahead to call it off. Chelsea can not win Real Madrid with Frank Lampard, we all saw he was poor tactically, before he was sacked by Abrahimovich.

BREAKING: Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal have sent out a bid of €400 million/year for the greatest player of all time, Lionel Messi.

Messi's priority right now is to stay in Europe. Barcelona are waiting on FFP issues before sending out a contract offer for Messi.

With Messi coming to the Arab League, this is very interesting, many are looking forward to them, Ronaldo vs Messi will compete again.

Impressive how the Saudi's are doing the right thing to bring full traffic once again to them league, first it was Cristiano Ronaldo now it's plans for Lionel Messi, imagine what happens when a game between them teams faces themselves.
They're gradually engaging in almost every sports and if you check they're buying clubs too in the premier league, they really want to dominate the world of entertainment.

Personally for the deal, it's up to Lionel Messi to decide if he wants the return to Barcelona it move to the Saudi Arabian league entirely.

The game is heating up for both teams, and I'm surprised that Chelsea is playing well without a coach. It's nice that both teams have numerous scoring opportunities, but at the end of the day, I'm still hoping for a goal. Additionally, even though both teams are playing at a similar level in terms of ball possession and shots on goal, the numbers are not far from each other,  the two match between  the two clubs are boring. As for me am still expecting  a goal tonight.
Chelsea had lots of chances but they missed it, Chelsea scored two goals but was disallowed.  Despite Chelsea didn't make a goal in the match I think their performance was not bad, they were not just lucky in the game. From Chelsea's performance I believe from now henceforth their will be a good difference in their games. Chelsea efforts was more better than Liverpool in the match,  Chelsea dominated the game more. For me the game wasn't a bad game for Chelsea,  let's hope something better will come up in the next game.

It was the same way they did against Aston Villa last weekend, they wasted lots of big chances to lead the game and to even equalize. The both sides between Liverpool and Chelsea did wonderfully great especially Chelsea, they got to score two goals today but all of them was called off by the Var.

Liverpool dropping Virgil is something I love to see, the partnership amongst the defenders worked really well, I expect same stue between Wolverampton and Chelsea and also between Liverpool and Arsenal.

The latest rumors report that Manchester United are interested in signing Leverkusen's right-back Jeremie Frimpong. As we now know, Erik ten hag seems to doubt Diogo Dalot's performance to fill the right-back position, but actually he still has Wan Bissaka who is performing quite well. However, if you look at the market value, the actual price is still relatively cheap and can be reached by the red devils. Could this be a good option in the summer transfer market for Manchester United?

I've taken a close look up at the player personally, I'm impressed by his attacking and at the same time his scoring and defensive skills as a defender. Dalots lost confidence or what, I think bhe needs a backup player for him and that shouldn't be  Wan Bissaka.
He'll be a decent buy for Manchester United as he'll add so much to the strength of Manchester United defensive and attacking shape.

This ain't the first time I've come across such news, and I don't think this is a speculated news either, I hope Manchester United makes the switch.
3595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 03, 2023, 03:47:46 PM
Manchester united are not consistent in their game this season, they recorded huge defeat and big wins in the premier league. After their devastating loss to Newcastle, the red devils are still among the top 4 teams competing for a spot in the UCL next season. Due to the fact that the magpies never meant to keep a clean sheet against Manchester United, Willock and Wilson shone in the game against them. Erik ten Hag was quite unhappy with how his team played and expressed hope that they would play better in their upcoming match.

No Manager would entertain such horrible display Manchester United had yesterday against Newcastle United. It's high time he stops selecting Antony for the first team. That lad is such a big gambler, all he those is joke with the ball around a specific corner, this isn't Ajax were unnecessary dribbles are done.

Though I'd say we have only player so bad when we have some of our good players absent, Newcastle really deserves the three points, it's sad news we couldn't beat them in the Premier League this season.
3596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 03, 2023, 03:42:26 PM
Is it not the sunk cost fallacy we just saw play out in Chelsea? Oh by the way, according to Google, the sunk cost fallacy is a phenomenon whereby a person is reluctant to abandon a strategy or course of action because they have invested heavily in it, even when it is clear that abandonment would be more beneficial.

What I can deduce from what has played is that Chelsea have become a business entity rather than a football club with deep social roots. Also, it seems that this unfortunate phenomenon is permeating other football clubs and that a basic community loyalty is being surpassed by the interest in financial gains instead of the community's spirit  .
Anyways back to Potter. The two questions on my mind are
- Where would he go next?
- who is his replacement?

Making the club a profit and business center would be blames on the owners and nobody else, they're no different from the glazer's, I'm still not happy Abrahimovich sold the club. If not for the Russian/Ukraine war, he should still be input with the club.
I feel like he's been targeted before now, so Since they finally had a good chance, they shot the ball into the top corner of the goal. ( Sad )

Leicester so far, I don't know how sure, I'm yet to verify, this is all I have heard from my local TV station saying this. Graham Potter deserves a club like Leicester City and not Chelsea. I have said this before, he's no different from Frank Lampard. Zidane also won't be a good replacement for Graham Potter with Chelsea.
3597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 02, 2023, 01:47:08 PM

Wait, the same frank that built the team that won the Champions league, FIFA club world cup, final etc. the team that was filled with youngsters and people didn't take them serious? Lampard came into management of top clubs too quick and that's just the cause of all his failure. He mightn't have won Chelsea the champion league but he started the journey. As for Graham Potter, he mightn't have proven himself yet in a big way  but he has done small things that are worth acknowledging and that's why Chelsea went for him. No owner will international go for a flop coach to run down his club. Graham Potter not picking up quick at Chelsea doesn't mean he's a shitty coach, look at Jürgen Norbert Klopp, how many years before he took Liverpool to the top of the world?.

We have to let go of the mentality of the old, today a strong team that's playing collectively for each other can make any manage look very good and possibly win them trophies. Don't forget teams now win managers trophies, I mean Chelsea basically won the Europa league for Sarri and giving him his very first title and that's was the lions giving the goats that (loses lockout games and finals) his first trophy to increase his values and made him a hot cake in the management business.  Teams can win trophies too it isn't always about the manager.

Winning games would have kept me shut because at least he's shown some positive results.
You've defended Graham Potter so well, how I wished the defenders he selected for the game yesterday against Aston Villa would have defended better than they did, if they did they wouldn't have scored those both goals, especially the beautiful strike from McGinn.

Graham Potter remains a disaster, tactically poor and not having capabilities of leading Chelsea to a single trophy, not this season not even next season. Was glad seeing Kante, he should feature against Real Madrid soon.

Saturday's transfer gossip:

Paris St-Germain have told Lionel Messi they will pay whatever it takes to keep him, amid reports Barcelona have made contact about a potential return for the Argentina forward, 35. So, given the current financial power of PSG and Barcelona, the obvious question arises, what will win in the end? Heart or money?  Grin
Arsenal are keen on Real Madrid's Aurelien Tchouameni, with Liverpool also said to be interested in the 23-year-old France midfielder. Is Real ready to let him go? The player who should replace Modric?
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says the club have been busy during the international break lining up summer targets and are ready to spend big in the transfer market. The real question is whether Klopp will continue to lead Liverpool after a very disappointing season and especially if they do not qualify for the Champions League next season?

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/65142566

They better get the signature of Victor Oshime to Chelsea done as fast as they can. They won't find it difficult making negotiations with Napoli. Victor Oshime is the perfect signature for Chelsea and most importantly an attacking midfielder.
That's big speculations of Balde leaving Barcelona for Chelsea, when he has full ninty minutes playing time ? That can be, Ben Chiwell likewise is another English player he stays.

Aurelien Tchouameni can be sent on loan to any of the clubs mentioned, if he's not ready yet to replace Modric, the loan spell can be a good exposure for him. Jurgen Klopp better signs the right players and hope's they blend in Into whatever plans he's got else the day of reckoning is approaching.

Disappointing result from Graham Potter again, just when everyone was thinking things have finally turn around for better after a long run of struggling to get back their form they concede yet another embarrassing defeat to Aston Villa, Villa won by a 2 goal margin and move up to 9th position while Chelsea drop to 11th position.
This is clearly a mistake by the Chelsea's players since they're having high ball possession and many shots to target, but they're still not able to score any goal and get beaten by Aston Villa. Many people say Cucurella is one of the best left back player, but he keep made many blunder. Mudryk, one of the potential good striker from Ukraine, haven't contributed anything due to his selfishness.

Despite Haaland didn't play, Manchester City can score 4 goals to Liverpool, it's proven if Manchester CIty is already strong without Haaland, Haaland is just make Manchester City better.

Nice to see Gabriel Jesus's performance came back like he was in beginning week.

I've seen that Chelsea game once again, I watched the highlights of the game only for me to see that poor communication between Cucurella and Koullibaly, though I'll put the blame on Koullibaly because he was the last man standing in the backline, he should learn to calm down and read the game. I wonder why some players would stay so long on the pitch.
Chelsea wasted too much of them chances so I knew they was going to get the game hardtop win, World Cup goalkeeper did make some wonderful saves.

Manchester City are Undisputable, last season without Haaland they won the Premier League so I don't really sre any big deal. Mahrez should have been my man of the match.

The speculations of Messi's return to Barcelona are now hitting up and it seems likely that a move can happen in the summer as Barcelona President has mentioned that the club is talking to Messi's camp and discussions taking place already. I think Barcelona is also putting in place measures to satisfy every financial fair play rules if Messi is to join eventually.

As much as they still all want Lionel Messi return when it's not really as smart as it seems even if he returns, he shouldn't be used for attacking options but rather for the attacking midfielder position.
My honest opinion is that Lionel Messi is a gone player, they can go ahead supporting him but Lionel Messi back to Barcelona is not just right thing to do.

President's at times talks and make comments only when it does benefit's. Messi can rather join the Saudi Arabian League instead of waiting.
