Being a Spurs fan, when Poch came in, I thought that's probably the best thing ever happened to Spurs besides Kane, in Spurs recent past. Ange is making things even better! The manager of the month two times in a row along with great results for Spurs.
Poch sounds like an ex-coach of Spurs, Pochettino.  Cheesy

Ange is making amazing management in Spurs and his players have been playing well to stand at a very high position. It's first season after many years, Spurs can get to a position that is competitive enough for Premier League title. The season is long and many matches left so it's too soon to hope Spurs will make an unbelievable season like Leicester City to win Premier League. In this season, so far Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal have been playing well too and there are no similar conditions from very terrible performances of big clubs like in a season Leicester City won Premier League.

Tottenham in fact was a victim in that season too as they failed to race against Leicester City. Will they repeat that success of Leicester City in this season? Will Ange surprisingly lead his players to win the league like Claudio Ranieri years ago?

He deserves the Manager of the month they have lesser games to play with absence from Champions League or European Competitions.
I would love to see James Madison winning an award too next month, he should have been the player of the month.
But anyways, Congratulations to the Australian Manager.
Tottenham Hotspur will have hard challenges next few weeks. They've got this only of they work together as a team regardless.

They could repeat that, both Arsenal and Manchester City are both hungry it's time for a massive change believe it. Lastly, Congratulations  to Bruno Fernandez, he won the goal of the month.

The latest rumors say that Dani Olmo will leave Leipzig to head to Barcelona next summer. I don't know if this is really what Dani Olmo wants but it could possibly happen as long as Barcelona prepares funds of 60 million euros to secure his services. We know Dani Olmo's performances at Leipzig have been impressive and that's why Barcelona are very interested in him. Moreover, he is a member of the Spanish national team so he will be closer to his family if he joins Barcelona. However, the question is where Barcelona got that much money and at the moment their finances have still not recovered.

Source: https://twitter.com/deadlinedaylive/status/1712151562888368404

This would happen quickly than expected, I'd love to see Dani Olmo working with either of Pep Guardiola or Xavi Hernandez they have the qualities of shaping future players like him into a goal machine.
What's not clear would be Barcelona, this would be considered rumours if they can't get him fully, at least for the rest of the season, he should be gotten on loan.
If both Liepzig and Barcelona comes into full conclusion and agreement this would be done.

I'd advice Klopp to leave nowhere, he  should convince the board to get new defenders signed up. Some should have been chased of dropped they barely do a good defending job.

-snip-
Ok group A look good and I think Nigeria and Ivory Coast have an advantage. Group B, Ghana and Egypt are better than the others tho.
Now for Group C, teams are close to each other and Senegal & Cameroon will have hard times vs the others teams.
Group D, Algeria and Burkina Faso looks the best. For Group E, the situation is quite complex since Tunisia, South Africa and Mali are good and fluctuating.

Serhou Guirassy from Guinea and won't be part of this Nigerian group , I just wanted to get that updated. I also missed out a group and that was group F

Group D:
Algeria 🇩🇿
Burkina Faso 🇧🇫
Mauritania 🇲🇷
Angola 🇦🇴

Difficult to pick because I do not really know the strength of these teams.

C'mon, This shouldn't be the different and difficult group for you to pick. Algeria should go top of the list, I can wrap my head around all the names of those Algerian lads, but I can do so easily with Mahrez. Former Manchester City and Leicester City player.

Onana before now has issues with his National Team, he was sent home before the world cup, I still have no idea if that has been all settled down.

Group A:
Cote D’Ivoire 🇨🇮
Nigeria 🇳🇬
Equatorial Guinea 🇬🇶
Guinea Bissau 🇬🇼........... This group has so many attacking players doing great and banging goals in them various leagues. Nigerians are lucky to have Boniface and Victor Oshime. Stuggart star boy Guirassy. All of these Africans scoring goals would be definitely missed when they leave.

Group B:
Egypt 🇪🇬
Ghana 🇬🇭
Cape Verde 🇨🇻
Mozambique 🇲🇿

Group C
Senegal 🇸🇳
Cameroon 🇨🇲
Guinea 🇬🇳
Gambia 🇬🇲

Group D:
Algeria 🇩🇿

what I see at the moment is that the opponent that will make it difficult for Arsenal to qualify for the next round is Lens or Sevilla who are unbeaten in this UCL match while Arsenal experienced 1 defeat against Lens at that time and I can not imagine whether Arsenal will be able to beat Sevilla in the match which will come but what is certain is that the opportunity for draw seems very certain but playing away will not make it easy for Arsenal to defend attacks from Sevilla and it looks like Arteta will think of many ways to anticipate strong attacks from Sevilla with defensive formation.
Sevilla is the home team, and it will be very difficult for Arsenal to play this match away. But before this match, Sevilla will have a very difficult match in La Liga with Real Madrid, so Arsenal can count on the fact that Sevilla can spend a lot of effort in this match, although perhaps for Sevilla in this case the Champions League match will be a priority. Before the match with Sevilla, Arsenal will face Chelsea, perhaps not the most difficult opponent, but in recent matches they have begun to play better.

That home advantage givea them enough hope for a win at home. They should still get to hold Real Madrid down, I barely know the new coach and who he has managed but I'm sure he must have been seeing you how Real Madrid have been dominating the league so far.
Having measured all the chances at stake, both sides with find it difficult to win the game.
Arsenal would want to remain up ahead, they have the finest squad in this group and should win most of the games.

My Prediction for Arsenal Chelsea is a Fulltime Draw and the same goes for Arsenal Sevilla they will have to share the points.
2786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 12, 2023, 08:24:05 PM

Napoli have never been favourites for the title in Serie A. It is true that they played well last season. The performances of teams like Juventus and Inter Milan were very poor. Napoli, on the other hand, have played consistently well. So the team has no problem winning the title. But this season I don't think Napoli are favourites for the title. And I have already got the proof. Napoli's performance is unstable as usual. Another reason for Napoli not being champions is that Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus are in very good form. And I guess only one of these three teams will be champions this time.
Rudi Garcia's match strategy is not good. He is not able to boost the confidence of the players. Napoli are scoring plenty of goals but still their overall performance is unstable.
Last season they were really really brilliant last season but they've become a shadow of themselves this season and are performing very poor and losing matches they should be winning very easily, if they continue to be inconsistent till the middle of the season then I don't think they'll be able to defend the title or even finish in the top four, if they're performing poorly against smaller teams then I wonder how they perform when they face teams like Inter, Milan or Juve.

 So far The three teams mentioned above are the best performing and I think this season's Champion would be any of them, i would be very suprise ìf Napoli would be able to defend their title under Rudi Garcia cause his game plan is not helping them to move forward, and he's not even in good relationship with some of the top playees in the team so i wonder how he would be able to boost their confidence.

How do you expect those sheeps to perform and go in the right direction without the main shepherd? Losing Luciano Spalleti changed everything. I don't expect the Napoli we had last season.
We've already seen changes and predicting how it'll end for Napoli if they don't get things fix at the early hours of errors.

Juventus will be my best bet to go on top of the Seria A table.Tough time last season. They are ready to change things around.

The mistake at MU has shifted from midfielder Harry Maguire to goalkeeper Andre Onana this season.
You have a point because one of the major issues with Manchester United is there midfielder and goalkeeper, although in times Manchester United goal goalkeeper, De Gea was just the goalkeeper that really understand the actual pattern of Manchester United I don't no why they decided to sold him when there problem was not from the goalkeeper but I believe they now understand how important De Gea was to the club.
Casemiro has been performing more than enough for manchester united and i can't agree if you say that if the main problem was on the midfielder and defenders. I think that we shall put focus into the defenders rather than goalkeeper.
Manchester united needs to put its focus into the defenders instead of midfielders. So many times manchester united conceded so many goals due to the inconsistentcy from the defenders.
I think that manchester united needs to identify the major problem first.

and even there current goalkeeper Onana is not helping Manchester United at all, but considering his performance on AC Milan I was even thinking his performance on Manchester United will be same as when he was at AC Milan but it was quite the opposite, but however if Manchester United should work on there midfielder there could be more chances of getting back to there former performance.
I think that you are wrong here. Onana would be able to perform better if manchester united defenders were also able doing the same. It will be a disaster for the club if the defenders are still playing so badly.
Manchester united will be facing very hard fixtures and MU needs to prepare itself.

Let me fix the problem of Manchester United very easily. Get a new coach. A coach who actually has some experience with managing big clubs. Get the bullshit players like Harry Maguire out of the squad. Instead, bring some young blood selling these players. And most importantly, concentrate on the problems that are actually causing the team to lose.

The problem was Harry Maguire, and they brought in a new goalkeeper. And now both of them are problems for Manchester United. When will Manchester United learn to fix things instead of making it worse?

Now, Saying Erik Ten Hag is the problem makes you the number one problem.

First, get over with whatever the Glazers have got to do with Manchester United. Can they just wrap things up? They should sell the club to the Qateris who have emerged the highest bidders of the club.

Secondly, backing Erik Ten Hag with whatever he has after investment in the repair and upgrade of the facilities on Manchester United. ( Carrington ).
With the right players in, Manchester United will be back winning and chasing tittles once again. Harry Maguire would be definitely out soon. He's only being dramatic deceiving his azz bout fighting for his place im the lineup.

I will really love to see Ancelotti managing this star-studded Brazil side, they have so much talent but has to some extent fallen short of how much their potential is.

To his replacement at Real Madrid, Xabi Alonso and Julian Nagelsmann seem like the best fit for the attacking style that Madrid play. Alonso has heritage at the club and is also a Spaniard which gives him an edge for the managerial seat.
Julian Nagelsmann could be preferred cause he has experience managing a big side and will likely be able to cope with the talents in the locker room at Madrid.

- Jay -

Julian Nagelsmann got the job for Germany National Team No?
Carlos Ancellotti had a perfect journey around the world of football and has won numerous trophies. It's time to see him facing a new challenge. He's got a good relationship with the Brazilians he's worked with. Let's hope he gets the job. He should be in line to win the next World Cup.

Xabi Alonso I can agree with. But how ready is Xabi Alonso for the job ahead? They may be good with smaller clubs, once assigned the job of a bigger club they face unnecessary pressure.

Garcia will be probably sacked from Napoli during this break.

They got a yes from Tudor but they are trying to get Conte.

Rudi Garcia should really be sacked, just few weeks and he already has a very poor relationship with his players how can he progress forward?

Who the hell is Tudor? They had long talks with Antonio Conte but he didn't come to agreement with Napoli, he has decided to remain with his family in the times he is needed when most.
Nigerians are already not happy, a drop in Victor Oshimes form would cause them.the African Cup Competition, they want to keep it at all cost.
2790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 11, 2023, 10:09:13 PM
I also expect Manchester City to start a winning streak after the break. The loss to Arsenal was a significant loss for them, but it was a predictable one. After all, Manchester City only loses three or four games at most in a season and this was one of them. It's bad that they lost to their direct rivals, but they can make up for it by winning their other matches.
Losing to Arsenal certainly felt more painful for Man City. Because after all, currently, Arsenal is his biggest and strongest enemy in the EPL. Every league definitely has matches with high levels of tension, and the EPL is no different. Man City and Arsenal are matches that are definitely very classy. So when you win this match, it will create a lot of prestige. Unfortunately at that time, Man City could not play optimally due to the absence of their two key players. And this may continue, so Pep still has to rack his brains so that they remain strong for the next matches.

The first half of the game was just so boring both sides did not do bad but Arsenal still on played better than Manchester City in the First half.
That should be a bad lose to Pep Guardiola, though I know he will kinda predict Arsenal would be getting three points since his squad has  not all of the players absent.
Arsenal fans are happy after the head to head 12 games lost to Pep Guardiola all alone.
Can Arsenal take same pressure to face Chelsea, for that game, I'm supporting Chelsea getting a win or draw. Arsenal has won too much.
Pep Guardiola will come up soon with a strategic plan. Soon!
2791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 11, 2023, 10:01:41 PM
I will actually say that Juventus and Milan both have a chance to win in this match. Milan definitely performing consistently right now. So we cannot deny the fact that they will probably be the favorite going into this match against Juventus. Both of the teams also have the same goal difference as well. So it is also definitely very hard to actually say which team is going to win. But I think we can say one thing which is both of the teams are probably going to score in this match. Both of them did very well score, a good amount of goals so far in this season. Could there be a draw? Maybe. but I wouldn’t like to see a goal less draw.
The Italian league is competitive, with additional measures to be witnessed from both outstanding and mediocre clubs. There's no need to underestimate clubs because a relegated team may bounce back and win an exciting thriller over an elite team. Moving on to the current rankings, the Rossoneri will play the Bianconeri at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, and we expect both teams to concentrate on an outstanding and magnificent performance against each other. AC Milan leads the Seria A standings with 21 points, while Juventus is third with 17 points.

Even before the English Premier League made name, The Italian football league had players that wants to make sure they work in the Seria A. Clubs like Parma and Ac Milan are clubs everyone would want to play else you feel less of a player.
This is no time for Competition but hell yes, Juventus will be well prepared to maintain the sole point of maintaining the position they occupy on the table.
A draw is not also the outcome I want to see, how they defeat is all that matters. Juventus has shown why they need that spot in the next league table.... I will still want to see Juventus winning, they suffered too much not to be involved this season.
2792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 11, 2023, 09:49:01 PM
Their attack line isn't all that bad right? But I think they will run into the same issues with a player like Dembele as Barcelona did. Barcelona let him go because Dembele has never been consistent for an entire season. He has always had some aches and pains and then they couldn't cure it and it frequently returned and again he was sitting on the bench. Then he didn't do well in the training sessions and so on and so forth. I really don't understand that PSG signed Dembele when they themselves had a similar experience with Neymar who also was injured all the time. I think Kolo Muani was a good transfer although I have no idea whether he really was worth the money, but he might need some time until he can play his best.
Dembele is not a very bad player but I don't think he'll last at PSG because of the injury crisis he's faced over years when he was at Barcelona, he's become an injury prone player and that's what I expected Luis Enrique to be worried about before bringing him into the team, tge €50m they spent in getting him would had helped in attracting players like Kudus that's currently at Westham or other youngsters out there doing great.

 PSG would had learnt from their experience with Neymar but they sold him to get another player that injury prone as well, however they got other interesting talents that would  help them in future the team finally recocer their form, however if Enrique wants to perform well this season he'll need Mbappe's help and play him on his rightful position.

If they had learnt from experience and signature of Neymar then the signature of Dembele should be tagged wrong as it will take them nowhere.
I will not say that he is a bad player bit his level of greed is something I can't stop. Playing good football without passing means less. Dembele plays almost like Marcus Rashford another flops, he will do a good job but tike to pass you don't.
The price tag wasn't too much on him and he is worth that fee.
2793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 11, 2023, 09:42:15 PM

Manchester United losing to Bayern Munich is okay since they’re stronger team than them but losing to Galatasaray was a shock to all. They still have 4 more games to play in the group stage, this is just 2 out of 6 games so we can’t conclude yet where this team will head to if they haven’t played half of the features in the group stage.

Literally sick with whatever discussions ending and leading to Manchester United. Believe me they're such a big mess to your Mental health if you are a fan. Lol.

Since Newcastle did very well against PSG in their home ground, I think there's a possibility that they'll still have a better performance as well against Dortmund, Dortmund have a better experience in the UCL than Newcastle but Eddie Howe's team is in a good shape and could take them by suprise like they did against PSG.

 I doubt if PSG would be able to beat Milan tough they've got a good chance, because Acmilan is not performing well in the UCL buy shouldn't be underestimated based on their current form and performance in the league matches, their squad is okay and they've got players that would trouble PSG, anyways I strongly believe Newcastle would reach the next round.
Newcastle United will play in front of their supporters when they face Dortmund. Newcastle United has good capital in the match against the Bundesliga representative team because Newcastle United achieved a promising victory against PSG.

Eddie Howe will probably play the same scheme as when Newcastle United beat PSG. He will trust Almiron, Isak and Gordon up front. These three players have shown quite good quality when beating PSG.
Dortmund experienced bad luck in two matches in the Champions League this season because in the first match they were beaten by PSG and in the second match they were held to a draw by AC Milan.
I think Dortmund will try hard in this match to achieve maximum results or their first win in the Champions League. Their ranking is not very safe in the standings table, so if they lose again then Dortmund will find it difficult to qualify for the next round.

At the very beginning, Eddie Howe had tough two weeks but has gradually turned all these around now. I expect nothing but a win.
Since they can hack them ways around PSG there still should be no doubts within the players and coaches. They have got this, they will have to do it by force if possible. Winning Dortmund is a must achieve.

Newcastle and Howe are impressing me so far.
Form of these Newcastle side should be monitored and how they have adapted to the Premier League and Champions League likewise.
2794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 11, 2023, 09:21:41 PM
~~~
Game nine and they're currently second place holders sitted on the La Liga table that's incredible for one of the underdogs in La Liga. Like it or not it's got to be a massive feet reached and they would go softly with it.
Staying so long is not something I can predict for Gironaa, bit I would love to see a change. I want to see something else totally mind blowing.
I really do hope Girona survives and stays at the top. They will definitely hunt Almeria down when they meet again.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are most likely to win the Spanish League. I'm rooting for Barcelona though today.
I agree that Barcelona and Real Madrid are the two teams that will fight for the title. Barcelona is the favorite on my side, but I wouldn't feel insulted if Real Madrid did it. Both teams will compete closely until the end of the season, but regarding Girona, they will try their best to win tickets to Europe next season.
Girona haven't met many strong teams this season except Real Madrid, so it feels like they won't be able to stay in their current position even though their players have good self-confidence at the moment. There are 9 very challenging matches for Girona heading into the new year, so I'm really curious whether they will be able to play at the highest level they are currently at or maybe it will drop to the top 6.
My prediction stands. Winners of the Spanish La Liga Competition would be Barcelona. They have all it takes, and that need be is the return of every single player that gives balance to the club.
I've just checked the last five game for Girona and it does look like one that could be handles easily. Almeria, Celta Vigo, Osasuna, Rayo Vallecano, and Ath. Bilbao are games that would be faced from now till the November.
The first two are games that could be handled comfortably. Bilbao and the other Vallecano has been tough.
Soon Wayne Rooney's future as a coach will be answered and the club that is very close to being able to get his services is Birmingham City. Previously, the former Manchester United legend had managed DC United in MLS and he had indeed left the MLS team some time ago. We also know that he was the manager for Derby County when he was still part of the team in the 20/21 EPL season but not long ago he was fired because he was unable to produce the best results. After MLS we will see him return to managing one of the teams in the championship division and I think if he is successful in bringing Birmingham to promotion in the EPL next season it will certainly be interesting to see him back in the EPL.
Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1711752631348035666
Wazza ( Wayne Rooney ) was a true leader, striker father , brother and friends to both opposing players and all that comes to your mind.
Wayne Rooney has been exploring clubs moving from one club to another. In this journey, he has seen more losses that wins.
I'm not certain he'll get it right this time around too, but, aftwr failure comes success.
I don't know what would be the project of Birmingham City, but he should make sure he gets to complete the task. Also, a good attacking player during his days should see his side scoring more goals.
I can't remember the last English Coach that won something huge. Southgate has been the greatest disappoinment of them all. He shouldn't nhave been given that job.
Personally, I don't know how Wayne Rooney is going to perform as a coach. But I really find it hard to actually trust him with the managerial job. Probably that's because he has not shown any good performance. If he will be able to show good performance or not is something, we will have to figure out in the future. But even if he does find himself doing well with club, that is relatively weaker, I don't think he will be able to do well with a big club.
Recently retired English players hoping into the coaching job are not up to the tasks. I haven't seen one doing a perfect job for his clubs growth.
Birmingham City are occupants of the sixth position on the Championship table, can we all analyze how far and how better he will take the club Birmingham City upwards.
Legends like Gerrard, Lampard and Micheal Carrick all are coaches who have recorded failures in the coaching job than playing football professionally. Wayne Rooney was good at bashing Ronaldo, I do hope he does same with this job. Godspeed with all he does.
2796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 11, 2023, 09:00:19 PM
In my opinion, if Man United want to perform well, they should play Ambrabat in midfield with Casemiro behind Bruno. I'm sure Man United's game will be balanced and Casemiro will help in the attacking sector, it doesn't matter because there is Ambrabat.
For Onana, he is the type of goalkeeper who needs a solid defender or back line, for Ten Hag, don't rush into playing build up from the bottom because Man United's defense is not yet strong. If you want to play build up in the middle of the season, buy a defender with a midfielder who is used to building up. This strategy must be strengthened slowly one by one, don't suddenly change the playing scheme to a game that the players are not used to, as is happening now, they concede a lot and often lose.
I don't have to say this, but I must say it because I think the coach is just during rubbish and a coach like him deserve to be sack, I mean instead of him to be playing,Bruno alongside with Casemiro, and Amrabat in the midfield then for the left wing back. I think McTominay can manage from the left wing back as both Shaw and Reguilon are not available for now, because I think that is we're he normally play for his national team. and for Casemiro I think a kind of a defensive midfield like him need someone that can hold ball in that midfield and if you doubt me of this you should try and watch man united against crystal palace in FA Cup highlight. and you will see the best of him.
And Onana on the other hand i think is problem is from the center backs because I think is center backs are not strong enough for him to be keeping clean sheets and he is a kind of a goalkeeper that needs a defenfenders with a full confidence and i don't think that  varane have that in him.
Why not get you CV and go apply for the Manchester United job? If you consider yourself a better option than him, why not mail him your ideas and tactics rather than all these criticisms. You think it's easy to be a coach?
Your so called formation will never win a game... Football has evolved and you come up with a defensive formation when you should be attacking
Mc Tominay scoring doesn't give him quick access into the squad. He'll have to work hard.
Onana has already a poor statistics, he should start making good contributions else he'll be forced to be dropped. Off course he doesn't wants that, with the African Cup of Nations Competition approaching.
2797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Relying on gamble wins is dangerous to mental health on: October 11, 2023, 08:53:39 PM
I met a friend who used about $1 to play gamble to win about $2500 in a game of different matches, all the early games went well but the last game cut which made him loose the game.  This lose made him to be sick for 3 days, the reason for his reaction was not because of the money he used to bet but he felt so bad because he has already put all his hope on the money he would have won.
People needs not to put all their hope in games they are not sure of winning, because relying on it can be very dangerous to the mental health. Play gamble and remove your mind from the money that will be gained till it is achieved.
When you gamble, it's either a win or a lose. Reasons nwe get vexed or angry is because we're simply over expectant. Though, I've been in such conditions twice I know what it feels like and it sucks.
But why worry for too long on things you cannot control no more? If he had the opportunity to cash out and he didn't then that would have made everything worst.
I learnt it the hard way, I won't let greed stop me from taking profits no way.
Having too much hopes on gambling and winning big is bullshit, that big win you want might still not come your way. Gambling is best wom when you play it with fun.
2798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler avoiding friends after a big win. on: October 11, 2023, 08:02:32 PM
At one of the local gambling shop I visited during the weekend I happened to listen to a conversation between two bald looking gamblers at the shop talking about one of their gambling colleague who had won a big amount of money amounting to a million in the local currency and due to that win this colleague of theirs' has been avoiding them since e won that money. From their conversation it was obvious that they were a circle of close three friends that gamble together.
After all I finished with my bet headed home and was asking myself what could the colleague act that way avoiding his close friends they all gambling together and just because luck shines on him first he decides to create a distance and class. I couldn't actually annex a good reason why anyone should do that.
Those friends will go ahead saying all sort of crap about him now, Man would be going low key for his own privacy and security purposes.
Earlier this year, A Young Man in his early thirties got mad the following week after winning 18 Million naira what would be said about this? Since he didn't borrow the money from his friends to bet they have no right. Rather they should look out for them own.
If he feels like stretching his hands out for them he will.
This story I just shared happened real life. It should be in the month of march.
It could also be that this friends look down on him too before he won that money and never believed he could have won that. I don't know enough to say though.
The point is that Messi has countless of fans around the world and also among journalists and football officials from the large associations. It is quite normal that at some point his reputation and recognition is set in stone and people love him for how he still played and how he has played in the past. Psychologically I understand when is hardcore fans feel that he should become it again and honestly, I think Messi is still the best player in the world who now lacks speed. But his skills as a player on the pitch are unmatched in my opinion.
Regardless of FIFA playing a role here to help Messi or not, another factor that determines the Ballon D'Or is the voting of selected players, coaches, legends and sports journalists from around the world. If we talk about fans, maybe Ronaldo is number one because he has the most followers in the world on Instagram. However, it could be that more people who voted supported Messi than Ronaldo. Yes, whatever it is, I think Messi deserves the Ballon D'Or even though there is a bit of controversy there.
I do feel like it has to come from the number of goals scored and work rate in a single season but everything has changed to voting. If voting be the case then, Lionel Messi would have the upper hand in the case of voting. He won the FIFA World Cup Competition, won La Liga and had the best contribution in the World Cup.
Erling Haaland has scored too many goals, won all three Competitions broke so many records in his first season in the Premier League, it would be great to see someone finally meeting up with Cristiano Ronaldo being the only Ballon d'or award winner in the Premier League.
Anyways, Lionel Messi for me, he deserves it.
Actually in terms of tactics, I think this is not too big a difference when Spalletti and Rudi Garcia especially if you look at the formations and schemes carried out, Rudi Garcia actually only tried to adapt Spalletti's strategy last season, it's just that in this case there is a difference where the execution of the strategy carried out due to the shortcomings of Garcia himself.
Tactic is only one component and there are many things in a club. Napoli won Scudetto in the last season when they were an underdog but do you think they are still an underdog in this season?
They are not and clubs in Serie A no longer consider Napoli like this. Even if Spaletti is still in their club, Kim Min Jae did not move to Bayern Munich, Napoli will have bigger difficulties in this season. It's hard for them and any champion to defend their trophy.
Quote
It is difficult to equalize performance when coaches are different because even though the players and schemes are the same, the execution is clearly different and this makes the results different.
Rudi Garcia has a bigger task than Spaletti and he is carrying more pressure than Spaletti too. He is a good coach but left Europe a few seasons to work in Saudi Arabia and with this return to Europe, participate in Serie A, he is facing with a big mission. First he must adopt to Serie A a second time and second he must help Napoli to win Scudetto again. In history, Napoli has never won two Scudetto titles in two consecutive seasons. So requiring them to achieve it in this season is somewhat too much.
I've just read from Fabrizio Romano about Napoli in contact to give Antonio Conte a job, this got me asking how is Rudi Garcia a good coach, drooping off important players that would help him win games. I'm still worried about the club and it's policies, with how they behave almost like Tottenham Hotspur. It takes from now till they kingdom comes before they get to seal a deal.
Antonio should let them know his policies since he will be abiding to theirs.
Antonio Conte will make sure they turn the tides around, he hasn't been successful with these Italian clubs in the Champions League.
All two clubs, Juventus crumbled against Barcelona during that finals. Inter Milan also. Will he be successful with Napoli? Having a good coach like Antonio Conte will tie Osimhen down to the club.
