361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: June 12, 2018, 05:22:49 AM
This is an amazing news to the whole  cryptocommunity and to crypto enthusiasts like myself. With this in place then people would start to understand how bitcoin is used in making transactions and that would also move us from the normal saying that bitcoin is for the smart ones. Again, with the acceptance of bitcoin by such a school with its reputation it will further help push the long awaited agenda of legalizing or accepting to use bitcoin as mode of payment in our daily life activities. Finally it would also move us to the aim of Satoshi Nakamoto that bitcoin becomes a mode of payment for transactions and not holding it like an asset as people have been doing these days. I just hope more institutions would get on board this campaign to accept bitcoin as mode of payment for transactions.

363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: June 11, 2018, 11:45:24 PM
The reason why bitcoin is not legalized by governments of countries is because of certain features that bitcoin displays as a mode of currency. Bitcoin is highly volatile and its price fluctuate very easily and this sometimes generates fear in investors. Supposing a government is legalizing bitcoin in its country and investors come to invest in several sectors of the country and within months bitcoin heads fall a huge fall. This will scare investors away and future investors. With the banks it is quite simple, bitcoin is transferred over a peer to peer network and also it is not controlled by any central bank. Taxes are not levied against bitcoin transactions and this will make them lose huge sums of money if they should accept it.
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin remain dominant on: June 11, 2018, 07:16:10 PM
In as much as we cryptopreneurs hate when bitcoin turns to moving the wheels of all other cryptocurrencies i guess there is nothing we can about it for now. Bitcoin will still dominate the over all the other cryptocurrencies and its supremacy will always be seen on the exchange market. Take into consideration what just happen today(11/06/2018), as soon as bitcoin started dipping all the other coins followed including ethereum which most people are anticipating it will moon up to bitcoin in no time. The supremacy of bitcoin over the other cryptocurrencies will be felt almost anytime and i think bitcoin will dominate for a long time before we can even think of another coin coin which is going to compete with it.
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in five years! on: June 09, 2018, 10:47:57 AM
Legendary investor Tim Draper is confident that in five years all will use crypto currency. According to Draper, the technological shift that we can observe now will be more significant than the transition from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age. Answering the question about how he sees the current situation in comparison with the period when he invested in the technologies of web 1.0 and 2.0, he replied that web technologies and transformed the concept of information, while blocking has the potential to transform almost all industries, including government services.
[/quote
Well i do agree perfectly with Tim Draper because currently so many industries and organizations are incorporating the blockchain technology  into their systems. Take for instance projects like Orvium, Essentia, Organicco etc. All these projects are planning to inculcate the benefits of blockchain technology into the running of their operations and this will generate the use of tokens on their platforms hence the use of more cryptocurrencies. The future of the crypto world is very bright i can't wait to embrace the concept of cryptocurrency in every aspect of my life.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: June 08, 2018, 04:39:35 PM
Absolutely partner, the lack of crontrol over transactions that are made with cryptocurrency scares the man out of both the government and the banks. Cryptocurrency are transferred via a peer to peer network and this makes huge transactions  occur on such platform elude the taxes that the government and banks would have imposed. This makes them lose funds that they could have generated through taxing all those transactions and most countries have their major source of national funds coming from taxes levied on the people. With this in mind legalization of bitcoin will make most governments lose a whole lot of money.
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this true that GOOGLE will ban the ICO and crypto related ads? on: June 08, 2018, 05:41:34 AM
Don't really know the authenticity of this information and the credibility of the source but one thing that i know is that it was facebook that i heard has reviewed its regulations regarding the posts of cryptorelated stuffs at their site and so a popular bounty community called Amazix has also plannede of reviewing its rules concerning social media blog campaign. Whatever happens let us know that the crypto community stays strong.
368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations? on: June 08, 2018, 05:29:57 AM
Thanks for your enlightenment but please let's not panic with these news we have seen some and heard of probably worse things than this. Let us not create fear in people to cause a dump in the mother of all digital currencies because believe me it will not be good news for the whole crypto community and cryptopreneurs like myself. Let us just wait for the outcome of all these committees and trust me we will be hearing that some of these organizations are thinking to implement the blockchain technology into their operations.
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the volatility of Bitcoin be curbed? on: June 07, 2018, 10:24:41 PM
Sometimes i don't want to give too much of a hope when there is not any. The volatility of bitcoin cannot be curbed because the primary reason for which bitcoin was created has been thrown away and know people have implemented their own reasons for personal gains. Bitcoins were supposed to be a mode of payment for transactions but not holding it like an asset which has a specific value against time. It is so funny that we the crypto enthusiasts who are wishing so bad for the legalization of bitcoin will not agree to dumping it, because people would lose huge sum of money but i must be honest i don't see any other way out aside dumping the coin.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: June 07, 2018, 08:24:54 AM
My first thought will be to sell the tokens when it is listed on a good exchange platform but as a cryptopreneur like myself i would want to study the market for sometime and know the highest and lowest the tokens can be sold for. Then i will now look at the project of the developers and see how feasible it is and also look at the support of the investors which if it's massive then i would advise you hold the tokens or better still just sell a small portion of it but keep major portion of it since it will be of great value after the completion of the project.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you hear about Bitcoin (From Ponzi to Cryptocurrency) on: June 06, 2018, 05:57:48 PM
I was also introduced to bitcoin initially back at Senior High School but i did not take it seriously because the friend who introduced me into it  made it sound scary and rigid. Telling me there are strict rules that i need to follow in the forum so i gave up until when i got to the university and a good friend of mine TNBTC introduced me into bounty hunting business. Initially it was time consuming until my reward for my first bounty campaign came and i had about $50 USD. I was so happy and ever since then i have been into crypto and investing in bitcoins. I am glad i joined tho.
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: June 06, 2018, 02:00:17 PM
Banks and governments are scared of bitcoin and its legalization as mode of payment because of two things which i know. First, is because transactions which are going to be paid with bitcoin is in a form of peer to peer network which causes the government and the banks to lose taxes and fees that they could have generated if this transaction should have gone through the banking system. Also transactions that occur with the use of bitcoin is not controlled by any central third party system unlike transactions that occur with the use of fiat currencies. These are some of the reasons that scares both the government and our central banks when the issue of legalization bitcoin comes into play.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 06, 2018, 10:33:48 AM
Bitcoin is riskier than bank investment because in the first place bitcoin as a cryptocurrency is volatile, in the sense that its price can fluctuate at any point in time due to the fact that, it does not have any central control regulating it. On the other hand with bank investments we have our central banks who monitors the system of fiat currency so that the currency does not lose its value. Among these two investments bitcoin can increase your interest very fast and you can also lose it if care is not taken but bank investment will increase your interest at a steady pace but most of the time it is stable unlike bitcoin. So the choice is yours as an investor which one to go in for.

Great news for our community. Increase in trade volume is a major factor to determine whether people are into crypto or not. I think volumes went down because of the fear they of crypto dying but happy to see people into it again
