361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is back green, are these signs of a bull run? on: December 02, 2018, 11:03:30 AM
forget about bitcoin which fell to the value of $ 4,570.01 some time ago and etherum fell to a value of $ 136.14. see the current market, how the market is again marked green, although the increase is not significant. Will a bull run happen soon? not necessarily. but at least this is a sign for us to always believe in crypto that prices will not always be red, there must be a chance for green again.

No one really knows when a bull run will happen. There are speculations about when it is going to happen, but some of them might be right and some of them might be completely wrong. As of now, the only thing we can do is wait for the market to turn green especially when we invest in really good coins.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alt coin can I invest? on: December 02, 2018, 11:01:05 AM
To be honest, there are a lot of cheap coins in the top 50-100. You really don't have to ask here. And just research on what coins do you really need base on your research and your budget as well. You better trust your own speculation other than others. From that you will learn how to do things in this forum and cryptocurrency world.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Perspective about HODL. on: December 02, 2018, 09:38:31 AM
I thought this was a misplace lettering that lead to misspelling. Anyway, interesting history about the term hodling. As a person who participates in cryptocurrency related things, we should learn how to be patient and hodl. It is part of the process of earning money here in cryptocurrency. There is nothing wrong with it unless you invested on shit coins. But investing on shit coins can be avoided through thorough researching.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to gain some funds in this bear market? on: December 01, 2018, 05:56:22 AM
In this very bear market how i should gain some funds to start gaining in this world??

Airdrop its a good way to start??

As of for me, I don't think I have any ways to earn in this kind of market. I still consider myself as new to cryptocurrency and haven't really invested in anything. So for me, the only way I could earn money is to wait for the market to go green and pull out some money and invest on something really good.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitter Truth on: December 01, 2018, 05:54:06 AM
The truth is, everybody will not buy at the same price.
If you know the best price, you buy and wait for the big party to come.
BITCOIN BELOW $5K IS VERY CHEAP.

It’s up to you to make your decisions

That is the common rule and logic when it comes to cryptocurrency. And the more the price is lower, the better buy you should do. Buying at a high price is definitely fine, but only if the coins really skyrocket really hard. But for me, it is not worth taking the risk. It is still better to buy and the lowest price possible base on your speculation.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money Laundering started with banks not bitcoins. on: December 01, 2018, 04:43:07 AM
The people in Banking industry have long associated Bitcoins with money laundering, from calling it a bubble to linking it to terrorists money they did everything in their power to destroy bitcoins. Today it's been proved that money laundering happens due to banks, was happening before bitcoins came. Deutsche Bank has been raided for money laundering, and it's pertinent to note bankers from this bank had said bitcoins is used for money laundering. It proves that fiat money is and always will be used for money laundering, it's time to stop the witch hunt against bitcoins. #ItrustBitcoinsoverBank.

Link: https://www.newsbtc.com/2018/11/29/bitcoin-is-criminal-money-says-the-media-while-deutsche-bank-gets-raided-for-laundering/

Of course, people who use bitcoin are not the people who pioneered money laundering. There is already money laundering way before 2009. And yes, there are bad people who actually use bitcoin. For example, the people at the dark web actually use this currency in order to gain money. Bad people use cryptocurrency does not mean cryptocurrency is bad. And by the way, this is not bitcoin vs banks. Banks and bitcoins are both important for us since bitcoin is not yet accepted by "all" of people. Cryptocurrency and fiat money are both different entities.
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people were into bitcoin in 2009? on: November 29, 2018, 10:37:30 AM
Was it in the 100s or 1000s? I tried googling without any luck.

Also, a quote I saw a lot after the recent talk by everyone's favourite: “Fuck Raspberry Pis, if you can't afford a $20,000 node to help the network, piss off.”

Watched the whole thing and what was actually said: “Quite frankly, I don't care about Raspberry Pis. If you have been in Bitcoin since 2009 and you can't afford a $20,000 node to help this network, piss off.”

So, what would that mean? How much would that help in terms of decentralization and the network in general if everybody that was into bitcoin in 2009 had a $20,000 node?

I don't think there is a lot. My brother knew about it in 2011 but he doesn't know how to get it. And some of the people who knew about bitcoin didn't trust bitcoin because of some issues like security and some actually believed that it is worthless.
368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin fail? What do you think is the most probable scenario why Bitcoin mi on: November 28, 2018, 09:25:16 AM
Although highly unlikely to me it's some hidden flaw in the algorithm that would allow cheating somehow and there would be no way to fix it. what do you think?

I really don't understand what you mean by fail. Is it the price going up or the price going down or any other else? If you're gonna compare bitcoin before and bitcoin today, I don't think you can just call it as a failure. And I doubt it will ever fail.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of airdrops in the crypto space. on: November 27, 2018, 11:57:12 AM
Airdrops can be a hit-or-miss opportunity. Some projects have leveraged them effectively to distribute tokens to a broad user base, but they can often end up filling communities with low-level airdrop hunters.

How do you feel about airdrops? Are they worthwhile for the communities and for the projects? Have you ever participated in airdrops, and would you again?

I find some of the people really lucky sometimes in airdrops. Doesn't mean it's airdrop, it is you're going to earn a low amount of money from it. It also depends on your luck as a bounty hunter. Because there are also really good airdrops to join and does not revolve around the bad airdrops.
370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why most people believe bitcoin to be worthless? on: November 27, 2018, 11:55:56 AM
Most people find bitcoin to be worthless because they don't know about bitcoin. Most of the people I've asked about bitcoin is they only know that it is really unstable without knowing that the risk will be worth taking.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin from the list? on: November 26, 2018, 12:17:34 PM
Hi All,

The current bearish market is allowing me to accumulate as much as can I afford.

I want to put in some money into 1 of the following coins but not sure which one will likely give me the most gains judging from where the coins have fallen from:

$300 into either:

1) Waves
2) Neo
3) Eth
4) Dash
5) Monero

I am buying bitcoin atm too. Which one would you recommend and why ?

Thank you

To be honest, I think you should divide your $300 in to those five. Having those five for the future is really good. You don't have to choose 3 out of top 50 coins if every coin is really valuable.
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Black Friday on: November 26, 2018, 12:15:56 PM
That's the black Friday,
this is why The dump is began,  1000$ drop. I hopeful about rising Bitcoin price.

what you Thinking about it??

Please stop talking about the price. There is always period of time for price and no one knows when will that happen. We should focus on the product of the ICOS and the things that surround it. Us focusing on the price will only make us sad. Always remember that, cryptocurrency is not all about the coins's price anymore.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is sacrificing privacy important? on: November 26, 2018, 05:27:48 AM
Many Airdrop programs often appear to distribute their free tokens, but the project asks airdrop participants to verify their data. Recently, Stellar also made the Airdrop program by providing USD 125 million in XLM form. The total tokens shared are approximately 1.5 billion tokens. The token is indeed distributed free, but the user must verify his identity to be able to get the token. These free tokens are pretty much hunted. Unfortunately, there are still many who do not understand that privacy is quite important and must be maintained.

No. It is not definitely worth it for just some airdrop. It is better if you're gonna subsmit KYCs in bounty campaigns rather than airdrops. Because there are a lot of fake airdrops that also asks for KYC information so it is not going to be worth taking the risk.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC on: November 25, 2018, 05:23:28 AM
KYC can be complicated and at times unnecessary especially for small airdrops.
What do you think?

That one is a risky airdrop. I don't think you should join it or if ever you join it and they need KYC, don't take the risk. Only bounties need KYC and not airdrops. It is really unnecessary and it is fishy that those people ask for KYC.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: crypto careers? on: November 22, 2018, 03:31:20 AM
Hi All,
I was thinking of starting a career in blockchain projects either as a core developer or a DAPP developer.
But looking at the recent slump and disappearing ICO market, I am having doubts.
Please advise me. Thanks so much.

I think you should still consider doing a career in cryptocurrency no matter what the market situation is. There is always hope for the development of coins and the increase of price. And when that happens, you're gonna earn a lot of profit. Slumps are just normal.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoin be as important as Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2018, 10:06:58 AM
Altcoins are just as important as bitcoin in my own opinion. The only differences are I think the prices and how profitable those can be. But it doesn't really matter because both are profitable and those two are still great options. And bitcoin just got ahead in development. But with altcoins like Ethereum, I think there is still a possibility that there are altcoins that could surpass bitcoin.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make more companies to accept bitcoin payment. on: November 21, 2018, 09:52:11 AM
Let's make more companies to accept bitcoin payment.

I have send email to some companies in the UK to ask them to add Bitpay as a payment option.

Let's start an Operation Bitcoin. All of us send emails to companies to ask them to accept bitcoin.  Smiley

Nice suggestion. I haven't really tried to suggest to companies that they accept bitcoin payment. Because I believe that they will adapt it soon enough. Especially here in the Philippines. A lot of people know bitcoin but not everyone is really interested in getting some bitcoin or altcoins.
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its Bitcoin a good way to save money for our kids? on: November 20, 2018, 01:46:13 AM

A friend of mine started to save money in BTC for his son.
Now he is in worry about the idea because of this last dropping months.

I told him to re-load some BTC up to lower the average.
If you have any suggestions about this please share

Its BTC a good way to save money for our kids?
Will this pay them a car? the university? a house? nothing at all?

Yes, since it's volatile and there is a change that it could get higher anytime, it is a good way to earn money. Bitcoin is very worth investing for the future and even my mother considers it as a good investment.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you end up with shit coins? on: November 19, 2018, 12:20:56 PM
I am working on an article about how smart people ended up buying shitcoins – I need some info on why you bought shitcoins (if any). If you choose "other" then can you care to comment on what that other means? Would appreciate if you helped me get an insight!
Thanks in advance.

Well, you may end up with shitcoins if you joined a bounty campaign that doesn't work really good. It's all about the coin management team. And there are also people who really convince others to buy shitcoins.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there any chance that bitcoin prices will increase by the end of this year? on: November 18, 2018, 04:07:47 AM
Last year we witnessed a miracle of bitcoin growth at the end of the year. Will it be repeated later this year?

We need a strong push to market growth. What do you think is likely to impact the market at this time?
Let me know your opinion. Personally, I think Bitcoin ETF!

I am hoping for good. So I hope it will increase even though just a little. And I also want my wallet to increase its price by December so I can buy some sale products in the market. I also want it to increase in order for me to invest in some coins if the market goes down once again. Go up, become stable, and go down, it doesn't matter. Everything is going to be fine. You just have to trust the market.
