that is tomorrow.?
363  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Which USB hub to use with Block Erupters or K1? A List. on: August 01, 2013, 06:20:10 PM
Yep, their new product is the 9+1 hub. It's also in the table in the OP.

FYI, Anker 9+1 is not exactly out of stock on Amazon.

If you see the note on their official website, they say they are having some technical difficulties with Amazon and hence the product has been taken down.

364  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: [WTS] bitcoin for Giftbig.com e-gift card on: August 01, 2013, 03:56:10 PM
I have 3.5 bitcoins and like to sell it for Giftbig.com e-gift card.

As of now, 1 bitcoin = US$105 and 1US$ = Rs.60.7

http://www.giftbig.com/brands/giftbig-com/giftbig-com-e-gift-voucher.html

I am verified user on bitmit & will use escrow service on bitmit to get giftbig e-gift card.

I require minimum Rs. 5000 giftbig e-gift card.

Please give me best offer.

cheers.

Samar - Just a friendly advise. Expecting btc prices based on mtgox is very hard to sell these days. btc-e or bitstamp is more of achievable.
Seconldy, am not sure where you are getting you USD / INR exchange rates. Even xe.com has a it for Rs 60.4 / USD. This is more of a bank to bank rates which no money transfer company offers to end users.
You should probably consider xoom for USD / INR exchange rates.

I'm pretty open and transparent with info.  I post it as soon as I have it, I do not withhold from anyone.

are you sure??  Lips sealed

@PW : Why.? Do you have any doubts with that.? Have i scammed anyone including you in the past ?
If you know of anything like that, then probably you should throw some light on it in public here. I will be more than happy to justify with proofs.!

And regarding being transparent with info, you can reachout to anyone whom i have transacted with and am sure they will vet for me on that.

I mean how can you say such things on public forum, what ... are you going to provide your private personal info to any one. Nobody will do such things here. Normally person will provide info to escrow only and escrow will acknowledge, yes this person been verified.

Please read OP again, he is talking about info about the USB Block Eruptors. Not his personal information :p

Yes.! Please read the OP again and the context in which am telling. It is pretty much straight forward.

When i say, am I'm pretty open and transparent with info.  I post it as soon as I have it, I do not withhold from anyone. - I mean that I will keep updating the buyer about the USB devices that they brought. Since I depend on another company / person (friedcat) to get the USB's which might get take anywhere from 7 - 10 days. I wanted to let everyone know that i will post about the products as soon as i get some info about the shipment from friedcat.
366  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: July 31, 2013, 08:05:38 PM
Jeez, I leave and this thread has turned into Comedy Central...

You buy H board (that is without chips) then you buy a Reel of 3k chips.. You wrap chips around the H-board with duck tape and plug the whole thing into 220 outlet Smiley Voila, instant 1TH.

no need for starter kit, that's for sissies.

Smiley

Guys, I can't support this form of overclocking.  You would need too much tinfoil for capacitance.

he he lol.. Don't worry dave. people will figure it out. If the board is overheating and need extreme solutions.. they can cool it simply by dipping it in the tub full of water. :-p
367  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: July 31, 2013, 07:56:33 PM
H-boards come complete with chips.  You add H-boards to the M-board contained in a starter kit.  People buying chips are developing alternative products/boards.

ok looks like i am just completely clueless lol, so the $500 h board has the chips on them already? i see so you just buy the starter kit then can plug up to 16 h board on them. which is the same as the 400 gh kit.

got it thanks

Whoops..!! Lol.. Before chipping in.. read the OP people.. try to understand clearly what topic are you talking about.?

370  Local / India / Re: Paypal >.< on: July 31, 2013, 02:42:05 PM
got email from paypal. Paypal taking fees for international transfer which is fine, but they are not giving current exchange rate, which sucks....

they never gives current exchange rates.

Still feel that its a good sign. If they also open out domestic money transfer, it will be even more awesome.

Evil as they are, they are already in the thick of the game and can get Bitcoin a faster opening in India.

FYI. This is not specific to Indian sub-continent. They increased it to all of them.
I have a US account and i received the email as well.
371  Local / India / Re: Mt Gox resumes Withdrawal on: July 31, 2013, 02:40:17 PM
isn't bips.me a payment gateway like bitpay.?
AFAIK they are the same people behind walletbit which was discontinued.

Oh one last thing.. am always buying and selling bitcoins at very low rates comparable at btc-e and bitstamp rates. Do feel free to PM me.
372  Local / India / Re: Bank of Thailand attempts a move on: July 30, 2013, 01:00:35 AM

Long overdue. Looks like this is just the beginning. People have started treating btc as money which is good in a way.. but bad in more number of ways.
373  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Need some advice about erupters on: July 29, 2013, 03:20:37 PM
Hi, i never tried mining, so i was wondering should i buy 40 erupters and start mining with them?

I have 3 more questions..

1. when you think i will be able to get 23 btc back?
2. I have 2 laptops only (1st is normal laptop second one is a mini laptop), I don't have any desktop.
so do you think they will be able to handle 2 usb hubs on each of them?
3. do you think running a laptop 24x7 is a bad idea?

It will take at least 4-5 months at current difficulty, which is irrelevant as difficulty will not remain the same. I'd say something north of that if ever for ROI. Dustcoin.com is a decent place to start.

I don't see any inherent reason the laptops should have issues from running 24/7. If you were hashing on them, however, they may overheat. But since the hashing is occurring on the USB sticks, it shouldn't be relevant. I'm not positive about the hubs, but I don't see why not.

Thanks for reply, i already checked dustcoin, according to it, i should get 6.52 BTC  in a month  (333x40=13320 MH/s) but as you said it depends on difficulty level.

So do you think i will get able to get  (6x4) 24 BTC back in 4 months ?

That calc is pretty much correct. Also, you can mine SHA-256 Alt coins on them.

Another thing you can do to save much more electricity is to buy one Dlink 7 Port hub which supports only USB 2.0 and use Raspberry pi to run these erupters. This will not require laptops and you will save on the electricity as well.

P.S : Am doing a USB Erupters sales in the marketplace if you are interested https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=263692.0
The prices are at par with the market and lesser to some other group buys.

Let me know if you want to buy in bulk. Probably i can throw some freebie for you(probably a Raspberry pi for you. Not sure. depends on the order qty).
Thanks,
374  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Block Eruptor USB Price reduced on: July 28, 2013, 05:41:22 PM
Yes. With the new pricing, i see them ROI in 90 days even with 20% increase every cycle.
Am planning to get a few myself. But i have so many hardware (3 * 25 GH/s bitfury + few H-Boards, 7 GH/s BFL) already ordered, am just giving it a second thought.

376  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: [WTB] on: July 28, 2013, 02:10:37 PM
I think I will just cut 8 pin connector and make it into 6 pin. that way I can power two BFL 50ghs miner from same PSU. I have Corsair 750W TX PSU and it comes with only 3 6 pin connectors, but I need 4 because each BFL single take 2 6 pin connectors.

Did you receive you BFL singles.? When did you order and pay for it.?

If you don't want to wait, then order those small USB Block Erupters which hashes at 350 Mhash/sec.
Just plug it in to the USB port on your comp, run cgiminer and you are done.
They were being sold at 1 Btc. But now they further reduced the price to 0.6 BTC/each. They are available right now in the market in India as well.
If not, Let me know and i can ship you from USA

As Benson said, the is the easiest is BFL but again you are looking at 4 month delivery.
Or if you are investing heavily, then look for bitfury or KNCminer.
But bro i seen many thread in this fourm who are complaining that they are not reciving thier bfl at 9 month 10 month. and can i go order with bfl is it safe. i mean they will send me bfl they dont cheat with me ?
and which shipping should i choose there are two shipping method
1st standard  shiping which cost is 34$
second express shipping which cost 129$
Please suggest me

BFL has started shipping already. Right now they are shipping the 5 GH/s Miner from Nov 14th, 2012 order date and rest from June 23rd, 2012 order date.
If you order today, you can expect for it to be delivered by end of this year.

I don't think Shipping to India is so cheap. Those prices are more of shipping within USA. I remember mentioning that it costed them more than 200 USD. Not sure if it was including customs or just shipping. Benson might be a right guy to answer this.

Just so that you know, i have started sales of USB erupters now. The prices are now reduced to 0.60BTC but am selling for 0.55BTC
