Hey guys, my special price for October Full Kits expired today and bounced back up to $12k per kit. This wasn't intented - I extended that price cut until further notice. Sorry for the scare!
Hey Dave - We know you have the right to change the price when needed, but would you able to give us a heads up on how long you think the current pricing will be stable? Rough estimates would be great for those of us with our planning: 1 week... 2 weeks... 1 month? Thanks! I haven't heard anything about either raising (whoops!) or lowering prices anytime soon. I'm confident that if the market for October devices becomes less compelling for some reason (like BTC price falls), we would be discussing what changes we could make to continue to provide a really appealing offer to the mining community. I would not expect to see a price change for October kits just based on where things are at right now. When we announce product for November/December, I'm sure it will be cheaper. I'll try to keep everyone tuned in here - your perception of our price/value is very important to us... |

Good news: BitPay problem fixed! Tricky little bug.
Bad news: CC payments are currently being handled in manual mode only (choose Bank Transfer and make a note on the order) while I set up a new payment processor. Kat can process your card manually via Square for now. It may take some time to get a new merchant account. Sorry for the inconvenience!
BitPay NOT working again Can someone confirm this please? Just gave it a try and it showed successful on bitpay side and on your website Status: BTC Paid hmm, for me it says "Error communicating with payment provider". fixed now. |

Actually it seems to have made people pull the trigger on the full kit, i guess in case prices rise again. i see less inventory of it now.

Are you going to buy the chips separate then manually soldering the chips on them? i am confused what is the point of buying h board and chips separately and do all that work yourself vs just buying the plug n play starter kit. |

H-boards come complete with chips. You add H-boards to the M-board contained in a starter kit - a starter kit is one main (M-board) and one H-board that plugs into it. You can plug up to 16 H-boards into an M-board.
People buying chips are developing alternative products/boards.

ok looks like i am just completely clueless lol, so the $500 h board has the chips on them already? i see so you just buy the starter kit then can plug up to 16 h board on them. which is the same as the 400 gh kit. got it thanks |

You can have up to 16 H-(hashing boards - WITH ASIC chips on them) to 1 M-(Main/Mother board) each H-board can do 25Gh at normal settings. The starter kit has 1 M Board and 1 H Board It may be possible to OC the H boards - due to power regulator - there are limitations. Instead of packing 16 H Boards on 1 M Board, it may be possible/worth it to use 2 M boards and placing 8 or 10 H Boards on each and OC within the limits of the power regulator |

Look at the original post and picture of the prototype. The m board is the main board(horizontal in the pic) with sockets where all of the h boards (vertical) plug into. if you buy a starter kit you get the m board, a Pii to control the mining, and a h board with the chips that plugs into one socket on the m board. Clear?
