I just came over from the 'Investor Games' subforum (hope I got that right). A guy there said he came across a site asking to double his bitcoin, he paid in $20 and got $40 the following day or so. He then went for a higher plan of $300 hoping to cash out $600 but they asked him to pay in another $300 before cashing out. He got confused and was asking for advice.
I think I've been there before. Before I became a forum member. I once came across one of those scam sites promising to generate bitcoins. Thought it was real, but when they asked me to pay some transaction fee, I was stuck. I had no money to pay the fee. With the benefit of hindsight, I know I'd have sent them the 'transaction fee' had I had the coins to send them.

I have been scammed for a couple of times, not here in bitcoin but in different online jobs before. I was really in need of job before and that site really caught my attention for it has good promotions and told me to earn like 200$ a day. I worked for two weeks but I gained nothing and from then on, I realized that I need to be very observant before joining online jobs. |

Channel 4 news saying facebook is a danger to democracy ..Is it?
I believe our normal TV media stations are more of a danger to democracy than facebook..
They spread PROPAGANDA tv stations ..
My vote goes by the way my area is acting ..Acting all nice like no shootings then good leaders

It depends on our principles and dignity to change our minds through it. We all know that fraud and fake news are well spread in social media so I certainly believe that it doesn't affect our way of voting and belief through the ads that we see in facebook. It is still important that we do series of researches about it first. |

I certainly agree with you and if you really want to earn better then you should be very willing to take all the risks. It is actually an effective way to make your money and savings grow rather than keeping it in banks which is more risky nowadays. I believe that it is better to hold and invest here in bitcoin but better be patience until you reach your desired amount. |

As for me, I can't see any majoy effect of bitcoin in our economy but it has a big impact in every member of the society who uses it for their own good. I think bitcoin would have a huge impact in the society and economy if more people will have it as an investment and transactions. |

Revenge could just be a reason that might ruin everything in worst cases. I think would just bother us and the could be a reason why we can't gain peace. I don’t know how much more. My $1350 investment is worth $526.78 as of this moment.My coins were BTH, LTC, and ETH.
Then you should be willing to wait more. It is normal because it is just a part of it's votality to strike down and you'll lose your earnings if you'll sell it this early. It is just a matter of patience. You'll surely get your desired amount in time. Just have more courage and willingness to wait. |

I have been making an analysis about how people is getting real rich thanks to the increse of BTC and it is amazing to think that people are getting real rich, lets hope and this will continue so the people that holds very little BTC also gets rich.
This is the analisis I made:
On February 1st 2015 you will need 4,219 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 10,125,600 usd
On Febraury 1st 2016 you will need 2,681 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 6,434,400 usd
On February 1st 2017 you will need 992 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 2,380,800 usd
Today you need 404 BTC to have 1 million USD ( the person who has now 404 BTC it is millionaire, and in Feb 2015 just had with the same 404 BTC 95,757 USD

In my opinion it's important because it allows money to become like air or the Ocean. Something that just naturally exists in our lives (without being owned by anyone) and allows us to value things in our world and store wealth.
I think in the future the value will not be determined by any government but by the world economy as a whole.

Can you buy a house with BTC? Yes! All you need is a buyer with coins and a seller that will accept them. The value of the transaction is as of the date of the contract, when the coins change hands.
If I would have enough bitcoins, I would also love to buy a house as well. It would be a great thing to buy properties thriugh my earnings. I believe that it isn't possible to acquire a house through it specially of we are strong enough to be patient and wait for the appropriate time to have better earnings. |

Honesty, I don't believe that news anymore. Most of the news made by media nowadays are biased and incomplete. Let's be aware that they are working for money regardless of the news they make. What matters for them is just the money that they gain from it no matter how they ruin and confuse people from it. |

If it is your choice to have it as an earning then do it. As long as you have much money to sustain your daily necessities aside from bitcoin then it is just fine if you jist want to keep it for your future. Just be patient and know when to quit holding. Bitcoin is a currency. Bitcoin is a solution to many problems. Bitcoin is bringing questions and new problems to this world.
Some people find this as a ride to boost your income, not specifically Bitcoin but also the whole crypto market.
I think it's a great thing! But what are you actually looking for? Bitcoin itself (the currency) might not be your solution.
If you want to "conquer" the world, you can't do it with Bitcoin. Like you can't conquer the world with the dollar itself.
You need to focus the technology. The blockchain along with it, bringing a new economy generation with freedom and decentralization.
It's something that should be written a new bible about in my opinion. Before you learn Bitcoin, learn economy. Once you master this skill, own Bitcoin as one of your cards.
I would like to hear some of your opinions and hear some smart words because I believe people think investing Bitcoin will make their life done financially but I honestly think it's not true.
Having a permanent source of income is necessary for us to live life easier and better. I believe that what we really need in life is permanence. I think bitcoin can't be our source of main income. Yes, it is profitable, but having it as a main source of income would be risky since it is volatile and unstable. However, it still depends on your skills here in crypto. |
