361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency do you use most? except Bitcoin on: December 12, 2017, 03:05:58 PM
Maybe you have heard of our platform Shopawl.com, its a peer to peer shopping platform where you can shop with bitcoins on different stores like AliExpress, Banggood and many other stores (coming this week). We are currently accepting Bitcoin only but we want to give more options to our customers. Currently bitcoin takes high fees and long confirmation time for small value orders.

Please recommend us which altcoin we should add next? We vote for Bitcoin Cash!

Your feedback will be appreciated!

Peace!
Ethereum. Daily transaction make it easier in eth. Selling tokens, buying altcoins and investing, eth have them. Its convenience and userfriendly as well make it on the top.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best coin? on: December 12, 2017, 02:51:53 PM
What is the best coin?
Best coin will depend upon your needs. If that coin is for investment, you need a cheaper altcoin to buy. But for the moment, bitcoin is on the top list. It is still the best coin in terms of value and price.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins prices on: December 12, 2017, 12:24:47 PM
Why altcoins price going down now?
Some altcoins are going down maybe because of the demand. If few people are using altcoins, then they need to lower the price so that more people will be attarcted to invest and buy altcoins. Someway, due to bitcoin's influence in the market, some altcoiners are also shifting ti bitcoin because of its high value and price.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins on: December 11, 2017, 09:07:12 PM
Which Altcoin is next to Bitcoin and is being accepted worldwide?
I think its Ethereum.. The famous one next to bitcoin. Bitcoiners often used eth as token payment and as online transcation. Its price is higher compared to other altcoins.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price in future on: December 11, 2017, 08:37:35 PM
Now ETH price around 500$.Will ETH price reach 1000$ in 2018 Jan Huh
Ethereum has a brighter future. I believe it will reach 2000$ by 2018. Its the most famous altcoin we have right now. And if that happens, its gonna be a good competitions of all altcoins.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallets for altcoins on: December 11, 2017, 05:38:20 PM
What wallets should i use for altcoins? Bought some LTC not sure what's better
the most common wallet that we've been using here is the myetherwallet. Go to myetherwallet.com and get your own account. It's convenient and most of the bounties use etherwallet as well.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: December 11, 2017, 05:33:07 PM
i see the future. ether will be 1k$ in 2018.  Cool
ETH has a potential to increase its value in the future.. But putting your money into one basket will give you a higher risk of losing... you can invest in some other altcoins which has lower price than ETH then sell them if their orice goes up.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: December 09, 2017, 09:38:37 PM
There are Bitcoin, and also there are Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold and B2X that we use it as an altcoin, but do we still need other altcoins? as i knew in the forum on the altcoin section there are much announcement about new altcoins almost everyday. do we still need that altcoins?
Yes, we need other altcoin. The price is bitcoin is really high and if you invest, some cannot afford it so they chose other altcoin as investment. Also to provide the users many options in the market, altcoins are needed. And we cannot control the appearance of many altcoins because this is a competition.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: December 09, 2017, 09:34:59 PM
Who uses this wallet? - https://www.myetherwallet.com/
What say about him?
Me. I do use it. Everyday transaction here in bitcointalk i use myetherwallet.com.
I can say, i feel safe and convenient using it.
I did not have any problem about it and i am so satisfied about it.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: December 09, 2017, 09:32:19 PM
Hello,

Im new in crypto and have a question (a stupid one).. I never really gave it much though and now i wonder.

Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one.

Cheers Smiley
If you think of that "patent" world, bitcoin developers has the sole right of any cryptocurrencies. It has the original content. So i think, thats the reason why it has higher price than any others. Everyone just followed or made some pattern on bitcoin.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs scam? on: December 09, 2017, 09:29:04 PM
I just joined an ICO, is there any possibilities that I will be scammed. They have just collected $5-10 million.
That's a risky yet good investment. I think it depends on what ICO you joined. Did you do some background check on it? Have you investigated the ICO? But think positive and i believe it will give you a good profit.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why so many altcoins? on: December 09, 2017, 09:23:35 PM
hello!

why are there so many coins to choose from, do they really each have something unique about them?
The market world is a big competition. There are a lot of competitors that you can choose from. Each one will offer you a unique and great service that is really different from others. So it is up to you which altcoin you choose. But remember to choose the altcoin that can serve your best needs and has the credibility.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth wallet problems ? on: December 09, 2017, 10:47:17 AM

The same problem last time but now I checked, its good.  Maybe they did some system updates or infuse some security measures for their subscribers.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: December 09, 2017, 10:42:48 AM
now a lot of investors are investing in bitcoin, therefore bitcoin has increased very rapidly, if bitcoin decreased what should be done?, whether the investors will lose? Roll Eyes
I suggest if bitcoin decreases, you can buy more bitcoin.
Then hold it until the price goes up again. But if you have bitcoin during those decreased days, then you can still hold it.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptokitty on: December 09, 2017, 01:52:18 AM
Is this just a short term fad or does it have a bright future?
This thing is making a buzz in the crypto world lately. ETH is in trouble.
I am hoping that this wont affect ETH that bad in the future.
Many are already hook to crytokitty.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: December 08, 2017, 10:38:30 PM
I feel so late to the party. Coins now are very expensive, like $5800 for Bitcoin and $345 for Ethereum... then $5 - $30 for other coins. I take a look at the blockchain explorers and see big holders of coins, for example some people have 1000+ bitcoin, a lot of people have 500,000+ ethereum. These people got the coins when they were 1 penny each, now I have to pay $500 for the same coin?

Why are the coins so expensive today? Can I go back in time and get them cheaper?

Even if I put in a lot of my money, I only get a fraction of what people were able to get 1 year ago. 1 year ago people got coins for 1 penny and stashed 100,000 coins for $1000, now I have to pay $1000 just for 1 coin?!? I feel so ripped off!

Also I knew about Bitcoin when it was $30, and I knew about Ethereum when it was $7! I was alive in these time periods and was looking online and reading about these things but it all flew by!

Am I too late to the party? Is it a good time to get buy today or should I find a way to time travel back in time?

My frustration is BIG.
You're not late and you cant turn back the time. But you are here now, and we may never know what will happen next to bitcoin. Just keep on watching bitcoin and if you have the chance to invest and buy in low price, grab it and sell bitcoin if the price is really high.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: December 08, 2017, 10:33:08 PM
I can't name any other coin/token, which failed more times than ETH. It's not about loving or hating it, it's all about people losing money, because of situations which can be avoided. I would care less if these ETH based projects were not asking money from the masses, but that's not the case. And believe me when I'm saying that Ethereum has some powerful lobbyists. Otherwise its price would be probably 1/5 from the current one.

Didn't we had enough of this?
I still go into ETH. Its usability is still good. Some apps ot programs have shortcomings but doesnt mean it is the overall of it.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eth can rise to 500usd it? on: December 08, 2017, 10:31:02 PM
Good coin market has come, I think eth can rise to 500usd. What do you think?

The last time I checked ETH, its already 489. I think it will rise up to 500usd. As bitcoin rises, Hipefully it will also rise. It's gonna be a good thing because many people also use ETh.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy BTC? on: December 08, 2017, 10:22:48 PM
Is buying BTC currently a good idea, or should I be going with ethereum?
Pls suggest...
Bitcoin price now is really high, so i suggest, think twice before you buy bitcoin. While in ethereum, i think you can buy ETH because the price is not as high as bitcoin. Buying bitcoin now is really risky, you have to invest a huge money.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: December 07, 2017, 02:14:33 AM
I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.
I believe if Bitcoin is still existing, Altcoin also exist. If Bitcoin has a future, then Altcoin has future too. I think these two will go together though Bitcoin can stand without altcoin. But, Bitcoin also needs other altcoin in order for the two to survive.
