361  Economy / Reputation / Re: Want to get your negative trust removed? on: May 06, 2015, 03:53:42 AM
You left me negative trust without even looking into what I was saying.
Reference link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1051714.0
I never claimed I was anyone
I never claimed I was asking for payment now, I simply laid out the terms if anyone wanted to use the service
All I did by posting the thread was suggest the service be created
I have a past positive track record, you may look into that by checking my reference activity in coins such as crave and my services related to that.
I have been trusted in the lending thread before
I can provide many more references than the ones listed here.

I feel as though you were not justified in leaving the negative trust rating that you did. I will gather all of my positive references if you so chose for me to do so.

Edit: Aside from the positive references, here is my argument that Vod was not wrong in some of his points:
1) Claiming it was insurance: I am not legally representative of a licenced insurance provider, and therefore accepting payment for the service would be illegal in the sight of the law.
2) I would be committed to any client I served, I always have and always will be. But under the definitions Vod presents, I would not be able to provide in a certified manner.
3) I would prefer to remain anonymous for the pure sake of being in cryptocurrencies. We each have a right to privacy while maintaining trust.
4) Who in their right mind would challenge the forum owners? I would not for the sake of running a simple service or suggesting the running thereof.
5) No, I would not take out fiat insurance for a bitcoin service.
6) I did not make the actual statistical calculations for the rate, rather I based it of off the typical ask for a microloan of less than 0.1 btc. Many of those loans do not default but the ones that do could make use of the service.
7) I did not calculate as far out as the actual floating rates and their respective data sets.
8.) I do have trust and could have run off with many thousands of dollars, but I am not a scammer, and therefore have not left with a single cent. I am a legitimate bitcoin entrepreneur. I am always dedicated to the people I do any business with, and I always will be.

So under your definitions, what I suggested would be illegal under most jurisdictions without proper identification. I agree to that, and I am sorry for the misunderstanding that was created by posting this service. I would appreciate if we could settle this properly and resolve the matter.
362  Economy / Lending / Re: [Insurance service] [New] tm2013's Bitcoin Lenders' Insurance Pool on: May 06, 2015, 03:41:39 AM
Will never work.  Too much fraud.

This is just a way for you to get some coins.
It's a needed service. I have lent money here and became well known and trusted, I was defaulted on many times and would have used this service. I have done work with many people across the forum and have built up a large and trustworthy reputation. If I just wanted coins, there would be easier ways than this.

I'm considering leaving you negative trust for this, but I want to confirm with probability that it is a scam.  To that end, I'm going to ask you some questions.

1) Are you an insurance agent?
2) Are you prepared to do your fiduciary duty to your clients, based on your advanced knowledge of insurance?
3) Are you prepared to fully identify yourself and your insurance agency, and to provide sufficient collateral?
4) Are you prepared to challenge the owners of this forum to provide better law enforcement methods?
5) Are you prepared to take out fiat insurance to cover the bitcoins you will be holding?

I'll give you a hint about #5 - you won't be able to take out actual insurance because bitcoin and this forum is the wild west with absolutely no law enforcement.  No actual insurance agency will look at you.  In fact, a good portion of people have shown they are OK with fraud as long as it benefits bitcoin commerce (Vod vs. Microsoft scammers)

6) Did you just pull the 0.1btc per month out of thin air or do you have actuary tables that show the rate of fraud here?
7) You are nobody.  What is to stop you from taking the coins and disappearing?

1) No
2) Yes
3) No
4) No
5) No

Your hint: The majority of the bitcoin world would be illegal if brought before the face of the law.

6) Those rates have yet to be calculated.

At least the idea is out there. If Ognasty or quickseller or someone like you wanted to run the service, then by all means do it. But this is a needed service, regardless of being an actual insurance in the eyes of the law. It's more a pooling of risk among lenders.

You are not an insurance agent, but you are willing to collect consideration for promised protection while being anonymous.  That sir, is against the law (aka fraud, aka scam).

It's not just an actual idea - you have provided a bitcoin address.  You are looking to scam right now.
I will not accept payment now, and I will remove the address if you wish. I can assure you I am not trying to scam anyone. Calm down, and I will lock the thread.

2) Yes, but with having answered number 1, I am not an insurance agent. I am a simple bitcoin entrepreneur looking to bring a service that is needed.

Hello all on the lending thread, I am back in the action, but this time with a service.

The concept is simple: Create an insurance fund for lenders in case of potential default.

Starting plan:
--0.1 BTC per month.
Coverage:
--Up to 75% of the loan being defaulted on.
Range of Coverage:
--If there is not enough funds in the pool, you will be paid out once there are.
Qualifying defaulted loans:
--The loan must be negotiated in public and bitcoin/pgp signed.
Fees:
--5% of the insurance pool per fiscal quarter. May be lowered at any time if this is deemed too high.
To be qualified for this insurance, you must meet the following requirements:
--Be a well-known or well-trusted lender
--Meet the above requirements
--Pay to the pool address your monthly fee while stating your TXID of the payment in a PM.

Insurance Pool Address: 1KbWAJ68AWNALveSWCsgDRb1wxSem7YuQz
DO NOT PAY TO ANY ONE ELSE BUT HERE.

If there is anything I should add or modify, or if you would like to apply/discuss rates, please do so below.

Thank you and best regards.

Well according to Vod, me suggesting this idea implies I am a scammer.  The thread is now locked and please do not send any coins to the address. Thank you for voicing your comments.

I have heard there are some issues with blur? Please fill me in on those.
Also, someone update me on what has been going on in here. I've been gone for the past while and that would be greatly appreciated Smiley

368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [RDN] | RadonPay | RadonShare | Instant, Anonymous, Feeless on: May 02, 2015, 03:55:57 PM
interesting, but I think 100k too expensive for 10 million coins

100k is the ICO price and the most there can ever be is 10 million. How it works is each XRadon = 1 Radon, and any unsold are burnt.

And I will release more details about the app after the ICO has concluded.

Voting ends in a week. If the ICO is chosen, it will be extended by a week. Either way, the Ann will be redesigned and a simple roadmap added. One immediate use of the ICO funds that I had planned was improved features for RadonShare (TBA), cross chain transfers and trading using RadonPay, and a messaging app like snapchat built entirely upon the Radon platform.

I diverted my hash to coinking. I'm out until the dev fixes this.

the latest official wallet defaults to a certain fork wich suchpool and minerpools and the windows wallets are on after a full resync with a brand new appdata folder. IMO any other fork is basically hijacking the coin.
So, ignore the pool with the majority of coins and hashrate and miners... Okay.

you make a shitcoin, you need to fix it when it breaks.
you can't just go silent when it forks.
Couldn't he just be sleeping or at work or with family..? People are so impatient here. Tongue

Im on block 3300 and going pretty fast just got a 36 stake

lol 3304 now reward 20 hours   Tongue
Well if you look at the name, and then the chronoshpere from the game red alert... they're doing pretty similar things Roll Eyes

Heh yep
Not sure wchih is the right fork you are at 3300 suprnova at 3006.
Guys what is the right ?
i am at block 3356  Tongue
It's a fucked up game.
Who is the capitan ?
I vote the suprnova main server chain as the right one. If it is not, the coin is dead here and now. Unless we can do the never before done and concencous merge multiple chains, we may have to temporarily take things into our own hands.

Poll added. Start voting!  Smiley

Bitcointalk is too negative nowadays. Developers and coin contributors probably can't make their quotas because all of the skeptical people on there. I give people the benefit of the doubt rather than the doubt first. Call me naive, but I don't think these developers want to eat Ramen Noodles while having a good idea. If you doubt the integrity of the developers buy a little bit. The little stuff adds up.
Also considering Sologap, the dev team and I all have positive trust ratings, are well know in the bitcointalk community, and have proven ourselves on other coins and their communities. We have never run off with a single cent and we have conducted business always in a professional manner.

Does this coin even have a dedicated checkpoint server or two? Huh I think it's funny that the checkpoint remains at 1200 now that I got the updated wallet. Shouldn't the checkpoint be updating more frequently than that? I would think without a checkpoint server, this coin is going to continue to fork bad.
The dev has to update it before it's functional again. Use the above mentioned node for now.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ChronoSphere [SPHR] [NINJA] [Wallet Update] on: May 01, 2015, 12:15:24 AM
should we close our wallets till it's sorted out? still a while till pos anyways
Probably. Unless you're on the same fork as the pools, I would say it's best advised not to try and stake for the moment.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crave to Blur Burning Service on: May 01, 2015, 12:08:20 AM
Hi, could someone please explain why I should burn some crave to get blur?

- What are the pros and cons of having blur instead of crave?
- Should I have some of each and if so, how much blur compared to crave?
- What will the potential or estimated BTC value be of Blur, now and and the future?

Thank you for any insight you could provide.
pros: ability to use the darkpool services
cons: It's not an easy interface to use yet.
It's not good to go 100% into Blur, but having a good portion would be okay.
There are close to 60k blur in circulation right now, so the price by block 60,200 should be well over the price of crave.
