Will development of BTCD continue or is it being replaced by Komodo?

It is best for all BTCD holders to swap across and they have 1 year to do so. To avoid people waiting 1 year to get the 5%, they will receive a 5% reduction in the price.

Also as most of you know i have been a big supporter of BTCD.

I have had many discussions with James over what is in the best interest of BTCD holders in regards to Komodo. I cannot think of a fairer method to let the market dictate the rate vs the need to raise BTC.

If there is any BTCD holders that have concerns, please PM me or hit me up on slack and i will answer as best as i can.

Assets on NXT are safe. Eventually there will be a way to migrate assets to assets chains in Komodo.

Hey David,

For sia another competent is data retention and backup.

Will there be a way to store the data like that on iota? Talking about songs/movies/pictures etc

Yes, this is what I call 'perma-nodes' which will be incentivized to permanently store larger sets of data via micro-transactions. Essentially a 'Pay Per Byte/Tryte' model. This will be built as a module or service on top of the core IOTA network.

Great sounds good Smiley

Everyone had the chance to buy FIMK.
This benefit was given from the Devs to trustly fimk folders.

so why do you cry?

Because it's not logical or good practise to give more advantages to dead coin bagholders than to people who actually support the development fund.

well said

You forget that FIMK ICO raised over 700BTC two years ago and now devs are switching to HEAT using technology developed with those funds (I am not saying they are completely dumping FIMK).

Yes, but you are (or at least I am) investing in technology of the future. Why does it have to be responsible for mistakes in the past?
I have made a few terrible investments myself and I had to suck it up and get on with it... It was their own choice back then to donate to the development of a now worthless coin.
Anyway, as an investor who was not into FMK, this is a terrible disadvantage and the way this is handled will always be in the back of my head.
I hope one of the devs can clarify their reasoning behind all this.

Don't get me wrong, I 100% agree that there should be a way for FMK users to buy in to the ICO.
I just don't understand why it has to be more of an advantage to buy in with FMK instead of BTC, because the latter can actually be used to develop HEAT into what they want it to be.

This is stupidity at its finest.

The underlying tech was from FIMK who's investors put in 700BTC to develop the tech. The ICO gave people the option to invest with whichever coin they wanted and it is up to the dev how to do it. You knew about everything up front but now you complain.

If you think you got disadvantaged tell us the method you purchased with and im sure someone will buy your investment at ICO prices.

Hey guys,

Just checking in on how the ICO went. Seems to have been quite successful, congrats! Hope this can be a good one, bought some myself.

I'm a bit confused as how the unsold coins will be divided though.
If I'm correct these numbers were distributed amongst the various buy in options:
10 000 000 for BTC buyers
7 500 000 for FMK buyers
3 750 000 for ETH and NXT buyers
All of them did not get passed stage 2, however FMK was completely sold out.
Does this mean that the coins that were not sold during the ICO will be distributed between BTC, ETH and NXT buyers and not between FMK buyers?
Since all coins that were reserved for FMK buyers were sold out, it seems pretty logical to me. Definitely when you take into account how cheap they were able to buy HEAT in the first place.

Another question: I have bought through C-Cex, will my balance just be multiplied when the unsold coins are distributed? Or how will this work?

Thanks for your answers.

No everyone will share the coins, not just coins allocated to their deposit method.

I have been in contact with Azeh and BTCDdev on and off for the last 2 years for btcd and supernet. Most recently BTCDdev sent me cryptos worth a lot of money that he was holding for me, to say these guys are trustworthy is a understatement.

What is the difference between EasyDEX and InstantDEX? I only recently heard of EasyDEX, so I'm unsure which asset covers it?

Where does EasyDEX get revenue from, and how is it distributed (i.e. which assets).

As i understand it, EasyDEX is a shapeshift. I dont know if any assets cover that, potentially crypto777? James would know.
