361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FOMO In Crypto; How to identify It on: June 18, 2020, 07:01:06 PM
If one is particularly susceptible to FOMO then let me tell you that having this ideology is bad. The reason I think this is that not only you'll be bad for trading but  liable to anything else based on erratic changes. Its a difficult one to come out off but it is possible, and the way you can do that especially in trading is to train yourself, and only chose projects/platforms or whatever you're involved in where you are 100% certain that that is the right approach for you. In this way you can at least think that you did the best you could at the time and not have your brain overanalyse things for you -> FOMO.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a Trading Competition? on: June 18, 2020, 02:37:20 PM
It's a like any other competition.
There should be a winner who's going to be at the top of other competitors.
Which means in trading, whoever got the most profits will be declared as the winner but with certain rules to follow.

Yh, that's right. I've heard about trading competitions like this and there are even ones in which you use someone else's money is more like training in a way where you lear these trading skills, of course these are competitive to get it and its similar to the topic in question.

Which by returning to it, I can imagine the incentive for those platform to organise such competition is to get an isight into strategies used or to identify people with high trade skill set - there has to be a catch to it!
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Timing to Hodl tokens is very important. on: June 17, 2020, 10:34:53 PM
money will come automatically when we know how it works. I've heard that we should take the time to research 70%, and trade 20%, and 10% for luck.

The numbers you're rolling on here don't surprise me that much. What I'd say though is that money still doesn't come automatically or directly as its very difficult to disseminate the large amount of information regarding market changes. The importance of this is shown in the familiar stock market exchange where the only job of a bunch of people is to analysis this insurmountable amount of data. Just something to keep in mind Wink

364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin market cap on: June 17, 2020, 07:09:05 PM
Does it really matter if we have 18 million or 14 million BTC out there? For me it has no gauge whatsoever, and I don't know why people make things complicated. Those coins could be lost forever or it could be found by someone but I don't think it will have a significant effect on the market price. Having 21 million supply is rare already.

I agree with the above the fact that we're missing a couple million isn't the point. I think the point we can all take from this is that BTC is rare and it will become even more so and whether some out of the 14 or 18 million is missing either temporarily or forever isn't something to fuss about. The fact remains that BTC is a valuable asset and hopefully become even more so now that the limited supply has been halved.
365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you ever made a deposit and haven't received it in your account? on: June 17, 2020, 02:01:13 PM
Slow transactions are common, and one common problem is the wallet/platform you sending it to, more likely a technical cause. Also its worth checking that the addresses haven't got typos and that where you depositing is legit and up and running. If this seems all fine then fire out some emails to the support team.
366  Economy / Gambling / Re: BestBitcoinCasino.com : The premium source for crypto and fiat online gambling on: June 16, 2020, 09:23:25 PM
When you say 'unbiased' reviews what exactly do you mean by that, do you pay members of the gambling community to review the casinos they experience with or how does that work?

Wouldn't it be an idea to leave it all to the gamblers, creating a business plan similar to tripAdvisor you could do testing on something like this, though this may not be your top priority it is still better when the reviews are coming straight from 'the horses mouth' - I just think it would make it credible and more trustworthy. And these are the 2 key elements you need for this new site, right?
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I sent 200 USDT to a USDC address. Is it possible to recover funds? on: June 16, 2020, 02:33:38 PM
I sent 200 USDT to a USDC address. Is it possible to recover funds?

Hmm, its a tough spot to be in as any crypto transactions by default are difficult to reverse. However, in a situation where you performed it on a platform then there might be some little hope left. Try contacting whom ever you think might be able to help, the sooner you do it the better.

Good Luck!
368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A month after Bitcoin Halving. What's next? on: June 16, 2020, 12:35:55 PM
Honestly, I was not expecting too much with current halving due to the factor that the current halving that recently happened is different with the recent halving, currently, the global economy has been hit hard with the pandemic and this surely had an effect with the market demand one way or another. However, it is too early to speculate since the halving just occurred recently and not to remove the fact that the market is full of surprises. Let's just be patient and see what will happen this year or if the parabolic cycle will occur.

Yh, same here, despite the halving of BTC the market hasn't flourished yet and I believe this is due to the effects caused by the pandemic. People don't feel that confident to invest in crypto and what's worse is that investors risk has already been tried out by the dump of the stock market so there might well be that crypto would start growing and get momentum at a similar time as the rest of the markets, following recovery from this pre-recession.
369  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair Dice & HILO game 🎲↕️ 30% Rakeback💰$500 Daily Race🔥 on: June 15, 2020, 10:59:38 PM
If you are not aware, there is an on-going $150 Ethereum giveaway! Click the image below to join Smiley

I checked this promotion and saw that no one had entered this one yet.  Is it possible that the giveaway is not that enticing?  Also checking the mechanics, and honestly, this is a contest, not a giveaway.   I don't know how to address this but I guess it should be "A total of $150 IN ETHEREUM FOR 2 LUCKY WINNERS!" not
$150 IN ETHEREUM FOR 2 LUCKY WINNERS!
Because participants might misunderstand.  People just read the first line and failed to check the details once they become excited.

There might be the misunderstanding bit but also the element addressed earlier by @jostorres that people won't be interested when there's risk but instead want free money - which is understandable.

In addition to this while I know this casino is among the popular ones perhaps there's a lack of communication at some point where not many people know about it - by people I mean new players who probz are looking for faucets and that.

I would add if I may that this in my opinion is a generous competition but perhaps the pandemic is felt even in the pockets of gamblers   Undecided
370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wallet.dat is stuck in a .rar file. on: June 15, 2020, 09:35:47 PM
If it genuinely is a 7 character or even an 8 or 9 character password (alpha numeric), then most powerful computers will be able to crack it within a few hours.

If your PC is particularly weak, then you could lease a powerful private server to run the script to crack it. You could also resort to a professional wallet cracking service, like Dave's Wallet Recovery services. But you'll need to pay a fraction of the fee and most dont work for low amounts.

If your password might also contain symbols or ASCII characters, then odds of cracking even a 7 character password drastically decrease.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millennials Increasingly Prefer Bitcoin to Gold or Real Estate on: June 15, 2020, 04:50:01 PM
It depends on the intention, I mean if you intend to store your money on the safe place then you can store it on gold or real estate and those place will make you comfortable. There is no volatile price and there is no risk that your money will lose in a few times.

But bitcoin is the opposite of those, you must spend your money that you can afford to lose. Which mean you can't spend your saving money and etc. I don't care with what millennials though, but I just suggesting that knowing the place before you store your money is really than you just follow what everyone do and you didn't know it.
In my opinion, you are right as I also think that the type of investment is dependent on the financial stability of the person. For example, if a person is financially flexible first would want some property investments since these would go up in value with time. Gold is still a valuable asset but you wouldn't want to miss on the crypto opportunity. SO, in my opinion people first go for security using estate investments and only after that can invest in at higher risk with crypto, then gold since its not nothing new about it. At least that's what I'd think anyway
372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When the US stock market goes down Bitcoin goes down on: June 15, 2020, 01:22:37 PM
Today, the US stock future goes down near 900 points then the bitcoin prices goes down too.  It happened the same in March 2020 when the US stock market goes down then Bitcoin goes down $4500.  Any one knows the psychology or the mood of the trader?  Thanks.
Let's get one thing straight, there is little evidence to suggest correlation between the stock market prices and the crypto market changes. What you saw and described above is coincidence as we all know how volatile the crypto market is and any news might tilt the market direction.

The stock market does not dictate the crypto market and unlike its distant relative is obviously stable. What might be happening is investors' loss of appetite for risk which might determine how these investors look at a less stable market such as crypto when the supposedly stable, stock market saw a downfall.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: June 14, 2020, 09:25:45 PM
Well first of all, I would express my sincere loneliness in what you have experienced. I do to had similar issues before years ago and I am using it as a lesson for me to move on and do more calculated decisions and risks based on what I learned from that mistake. I think you need to move on from that and learn the lessons so that you will be able to make more intelligent decisions that will save you and your money from complete and utter disaster.
You're doing the right thing, mate! Trader should go through these kind of failure to learn a lesson in a hard way! It helps us in building strong experiences, knowledges as well as an ability to avoid losses. Don't let a failure pulls you back, keep moving on!

I agree with @AroenzOr, you first need to walk through the rough patches before you get to the smooth path. Honestly, trading is a nightmare and if you continue in this line then you're likely to lose even more but so long as you keep building, improving and persevere you will eventually get to either understand it or not. In which case, you can look into different types of investment gains, but I think what's important is to learn from mistakes - everyone makes mistakes but the one who can change, learn and a adapt will eventually see the light.
374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade isn’t for Me guys. on: June 14, 2020, 08:01:50 PM
My Luck is not for Trading, I think Trading is not for Me.  I try it many time, and i understand that trade isn’t for me. Every time i lost my Satoshi on Buy/Selling,  becouse i haven’t any expression about Coin Chart, buy, sell and about more.
to learn the science of trading does take time, there is no instant for success,
you can learn from your mistakes and do it again do not give up

Yup, there's that philosophy that practice makes it perfect and you learn from your mistakes. Generally, trading isn't for everyone and once you start encountering losses you can easily get dishearten but if by now you genuinely know trading isn't for you then at least you know where you stand and you can invest your energy into something else.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need a reality check, is an ICO right for me to fund a business? on: June 14, 2020, 05:27:46 PM
I see where you're coming from but I struggle to see why would any investor be interested in funding this project since there'll be no profit generated. Their financial contribution would simply be one based on them willing to do a good deed but then even that would be temporary rather than long term. In my opinion, you need to think of giving something back to these investors, something they see as value.
376  Economy / Gambling / Re: GoodLuckMate - Bitcoin Casino Reviews You Can Trust on: June 14, 2020, 03:27:11 PM
It's a good approach to offer unbiased reviews, but if it's just an opinion of a few people, it's really hard to make sure that all things were considered. It's good that the website allows making user reviews, and I hope you'll take them into consideration as well.
Another thing is a typical problem of such review websites: for some reason, they focus on casinos nobody knows about. Betsson, Casumo are names I've never heard. And at the same time, there are no high-reputation popular crypto casinos listed, such as Fortunejack, Primedice, Bustabit, Bitcasino.io... Why is that? Why is the list on the main page so small and yet full of unimportant names? The website's design is nice, but it's not everything. I see that panjul07 has asked about top casinos, and you said they were going to be on top on Monday, but it's been a week, and they are nowhere around. And the sorting system of Bitcoin casinos is confusingly done.

The idea of users being able to review a casino is good, in fact if that could be taken up a notch would be really good, it would make it even more reliable and trustworthy. This would be similar to Glassdoor or even TripAdvisor, obviously it would take a while but if you can head it into that direction it would be the least unbiased review platform there is.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know job/investment related to crypto that provide stable daily income? on: June 14, 2020, 02:10:55 PM
Well, there isn't so much of a job but more like some sort of investing. Nexo is a platform for crypto similar to how bank accounts work where you can deposit your crypto there and earn interest rate, which unlike a regular bank account the rate you get is much more and the amount you earn is of course dependent on the amount you deposit. It's a good way of generating passive income.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap's new feature - Chat on: June 13, 2020, 10:39:17 PM
Looks like a pretty decent feature that will help distinguish it from platforms like CoinGecko and CoinPaprika, maybe it'll actually help build some engagement.

The platform was quickly losing its ground to CoinGecko, so it's good to see the developers are still innovating. Not that a chatbox is much of an innovation, I'm 100% sure it's going to become a new places where projects shill their tokens.

Based on how slow CoinMarketCap is to update their listings, I highly doubt they're going to have any moderation either. Scam central coming up!
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why we trust binance exchange? on: June 13, 2020, 09:10:39 PM
Binance is most popular and almost accepted in all countries and up to 02 BTC trading is allowed for No KYC users. The most trusted thing is that the CEO of Binance is a well-known personality and has a big contribution in the Crypto market.

Binance is the biggest exchange there is at the moment, its team is public facing and regulated by multiple markets. In addition Binance keeps on working harder and implementing new strategies as small as these might be like the current extension to the Philippines. There are still many hurdles to overcome but it seems that Binance is taking an action approach and that keeps them going, making them popular etc
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Spend Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2020, 04:07:29 PM
There are so many ways of spending BTC so many that if you yet don't know how after being in the cryptocurrency space for a while then that's not a good sign. BTC nowadays can be spent in stores in some place though most of the transaction happen in online stores. For instance you could convert BTC into different types of gift cards and that's a good way to spend it, ot by paying for services straight up.

The point is that BTC is spendable.
