Back at 2K  Yep someone put the breaks - clearly there are people trying to accumulate. No matter - still only 4.56 BTC to 5000 sat - which is what I would call the minimum reasonable price. 5000 floor by the weekends end. 5000sat this weekend? wat will it be in mid november? could this be a dollar coin very soon?  Probably not soon - but it will be 10c a coin before Christmas - mark my words. Marking this while staking like a boss  Likewise - the beauty is its one of the few coins that incentivises people to hold - even as the price climbs! Side question for the devs: Any chance we could get a staking calculator built? e.g. - Enter the number of coins you hold - Enter the approximate block your coins matured for staking - Enter the block to count up to - Your expected stakings (provided no withdrawals are made and all stakings are left to stake) = XXXX The staking calculator sounds like a great idea and I will start to investigate to see if it is viable to do it. This will be added to my to do list in future. We need to prioritise our roadmap and make sure we deliver on our promises. We do have a few more surprises for the Steps community but our main focus now is to finish our forum. |

i have a question about mining now. with the staking and mining going on now. reward for staking will go as high as 300 before it switches to 1% a year. how long wil mining go on for? And what will the total supply be when it hits block 60101 and goes to 1% pos a year? thats if the mining stops.
With the mining at Steak Cloud you mine a different coin but steak cloud buy Steps from the exchanges to pay you. In short it increase the price of Steps and you earn extra StepsCoin for mining. like andrepierre said Steak Cloud is not mining STEPS, it buys them from exchange to pay miners for mining different coin there, total supply before POS goes to 1% will be ~19M |

I can't say with 100% certainty one way or another if SebastianJu is a purchased account, but I don't think it is. Based on the screenshot that MintJellyToes posted, it looks like the amount in dispute is .1 BTC, more specifically .1 BTC that were sent to 1MhMNXUkNFaBUHMnqjnqDczcihdemtBfZg via 68126c1368713ea6db072c18bdea37116694720c6e615a294e080b7a45bbece6 and that MintJellyToes is unable to prove that the BTC from the above transaction was his. If the above amount is correct then I can say with a near 100% certainty that Sebastian is not in the process of pulling a runner considering that there are reports of him releasing both a 5 BTC and a 21 BTC escrow in the last ~2 weeks, and I would personally doubt that either party that he released the BTC to are his alts. Regarding that screenshot, anyone can fake a screenshot that was apparently presented by MintJellyToes. If he really sent the .1 BTC to the escrow address from his polinex account then he should give Sebastian temporary access to his account so he can personally verify that it was MintJellyToes that sent the transaction. Otherwise what will potentially happen is that he will release the .1 BTC to MintJellyToes then the next day "someone else" will come along who is willing to prove they sent the .1 BTC to that address with access to their polinex account. There is really no legitimate reason why MintJellyToes would not be able to allow Sebastian access to his polinex account, at least not in my eyes. I also hope that this situation serves as a lesson to SebastianJu to not give more then one party the same address to send to for a trade. This way he will know with near 100% certainty that any BTC that makes it into particular address belongs to a specific person. If he wants to, then after a certain time he can tell both parties to a trade that any BTC sent to the address after a certain time will be his property (for example if the buyer never funds escrow and he wants to give that address to someone else for a trade). If it is the same person than it was cleverly done by first not wanting to give the coin up and then it happens. I was asked if i will forward the remaining funds to the new coin owner though at the moment practically all coins are already refunded or it is handled to refund them. I can't send the coins to a random person without the investors telling me to do so. they have the list of who invest that bitcoin or maybe some of them already send you PM i think they will not continue it anymore new coin owner say that he will not get any BTC from doing that takeover if the first coin owner told you that you need to send the remaining BTC to new coin owner dont send any of it because he already told us that he will not get any BTC from it that will be the proof that they are the same person and its not better also to send it chinook because he is a scammer it means your only choice if to send it back to the real owner Yes, at that point i can not send anything anywhere without the consent of every proven investor. Otherwise it would raise questions when i sent it and the investor asks me why i did so. Anyway... since the new owner took over, whether or not he is the same person as the first coin owner, did he say something about that he received the investments that the scammer received by changing the escrow address to one of his addresses?
