CZ can you stop this spamming about the name and decide?

We are losing time and dividing community - after one week we got nowhere: 66% wants BBR, 33% wants RUNE. BBR is great name, everyone was opposed at first, but after a few weeks you get to like it. windy (the marketing guy) just came on board recently and hasn't got through incubation period yet, in a few weeks he will get infected and then he will regret name change.

We can have honest vote or you CZ act as benevolent dictator and cut the Gordian knot - both is perfectly fine as it is you who dedicated a lot of time and energy. Just decide alredy.

Crypto-zoidberg, please.  The coin is Rune.

Lol, priceless, where's the marketing guy?

One more proof that BBR is just working.

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."

We are now at fighting stage, sadly only among community Grin

can i suggest an open vote donation based ?

address 1: bbr
address 2-3-4etc: rune and other bs

1bbr to enter the vote; bbr goes to dev.

i like this idea!
Than we solve two problems: fund rising and voting Wink

Where you been zoidberg?  Grin

I like this idea also, how would the names for the poll be chosen?

I also think the result should be set in stone for some period of time, perhaps two or three years, we don't need this kind of distraction on a regular basis.

Don't forget this:

I would add to your solution 100-1000 BBR introduction fee per every name going to be listed (fee for BBR not aplicable as this is current name) in order not to get spammed and seriousness of proponents.

Hello. When Monero GUI-wallet will be available? Linux? Windows? Mac?

In a few weeks.

BTC must NOT go below 330...

Why?

This would be the best solution. Let's money talk.

The fact that we have so many Monero advocates complaining about the rebrand tells you all that you need to know.

You're so wrong and paranoid. What you fail to realize is that most of BBR owners are also XMR owners. The reverse isnt true though. I hated with great passion the name Boolberry. I agree it sounds terrible at first, but it grows on you. I also agree that if you want to expand your community towards more non-XMR owners, you'd be better off rebranding - this is what i've been advocating since BBR beginnings -, but for christ sake, choose a correct name, not some scifi wannabe tough name : because thats what vortex and rune are. As a name, they are above darkcoin simply because they lack the word coin. FWIW I'm completely with iCEBREAKER on what the name rune makes me think about.

Also, an argument could be made that the name doesnt matter and that if the tech is good people will buy and use BBR. I can already hear you telling me then lets take "rune" if the name doesnt matter. My answear is that there are plenty of better names than rune : Rings, for instance.

+1

Can we rename to Dragon?

How many Dragons do you have?
I wish I had more Dragons, I should buy them when they were young. Fucking viral, China would go crazy Cheesy

Boolberry has just been added to new exchanges.

Boolberry is a cool and unusual name that can build a strong 'brand' identity.

Their is nothing wrong with the boolberry name or the current boolberry logo.

The 3 proposed name changes are all terrible when compared to boolberry - in my honest opinion.

At best I'm thinking to stop mining BBR for now and at worst ? Although the technical fundamentals are mostly their - does this project actually have a clear direction moving forward ? Is a 2nd name change and re-branding really worthwhile at this stage ?

I feel you bro  Grin

Somehow I also got used to BBR.

...and RUNE, jesus, it's gonna be even worse. If we are gonna change name can we at least pick something in connection with Chinese mythology - like DRAGON or something like that, China love this shit.

I guess ill go ahead and bring up my idea of crowd funding again. Tell us how much it will cost to have the database finished. Tell us when it will be completed if you do raise the funds. Then I will hold peoples funds in escrow until enough is raised. The moment the funding goal is reached i will deliver the funds to the devs as per the arrangement. If the funding goal is not reached than I will refund everyone’s money.

See rep thread in signature if you are concerned about whether I am qualified for this task.

Wouldn't it be better to do it on kickstarter or the like?  Wider audience.  BTCT is a ghetto.

Yes, this is the way to go.

Anon136 idea of forking in order to give 1% of mining reward to dev team is bad and will only bring confusion. If that would to occur xmr would become worthless. Forking is violent way of doing things.

Kickstarter idea works in real world. Devs (or maybe MEW?) only need to create page where they or any other interested party could publish ideas for xmr changes/projects. Of course they will have to make a good arguments in layman terms why this changes would be beneficial and how much would it cost. Distinguished members or multisig wallet or donators vote will decide if job is finished.

If someone missed the announcement - you can now trade on BTER, please support exchange and move part of your BBR there.

BTER is by volume 4x bigger than Poloniex, so I believe it will soon become the primary BBR exchange. We should take this as an advantage as we are now exposed to the Chinese market and make a fresh start and say goodbye to the negative propaganda in Poloniex trollbox.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry: Privacy and Security - Guaranteed[Bittrex/Poloniex]GPU Released on: September 15, 2014, 07:12:23 AM
Boolberry(BBR) is added to BTER's BTC market at

https://bter.com/trade/BBR_BTC

deposit at

https://bter.com/myaccount/deposit/BBR

Awesome.

I advise everyone to send some BBR and help create functional market on BTER.

My conclusion is that there are a lot of holders stuck above 500 that are willing to break even or sell at a slight loss.   Any rise above 500 is being met with strong sell resistance in the world of OTC.

Price confirms this behaviour, because any rally gets hammered hard. I guess we really need one major panic, before new ATM is possible.

Great, it's much clearer to me what you are hoping to achieve. I will buy tokens now. It's limitless Wink

About 1.6K dumped on Stamp.

Again, where do the coins come from? Someone ask the exchange owner!

This are peanuts for early birds  Grin

Not important who, but why? Is there some bad news coming?
375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 11, 2014, 04:25:11 PM

It can and will change in a heartbeat. We have had all the positive news we could have begged for, so now we wait for the market to mature while adoption fills out. The good times are returning, you can feel it in the air mon.

True, we had very positive news and yet price didn't react which is very bearish and confirms we are still in a long downtrend. Good news only slowed the rate of falling, that's why I think we won't see any significant rally for quite a while. The most optimistic must sell and abandon their hopes before we can go to new highs.

So you can buy in? Smiley

Well, yes.

How about transactional volume? Is that something we can see theoretically?

I am not sure why it's not working anymore, but here is the chart "Number of transactions" (it is working for XMR).  http://bbr.cryptostats.org/charts

Todays dumpings are part of the effort to discredit BBR, but it seems safe to say that it is not working Wink

Animorex might be shorting again, but he will have to buy back and we know BBR can move very fast. Grin

You guys excited yet?  Grin

Witchcraft!  Cheesy

But one question for further understanding: You are estimating that wave 3 of C (I'm right?) brings us down to ~420 and with wave 5 of C we will test the April low.

But talking about a possible mayor capitulation (< 300) it would need another mayor wave? Is this correct? Or could the current wave C include this mayor capitulation?

Elliot waves can get extensions (1.61, 2.61,...), meaning this wave can go below 300.
