361  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I convert my money into? on: October 30, 2019, 03:47:45 PM
Investing your 50% money to bitcoin and the other 50% on USD is your assurance in the long run, you killed two birds in one stone, investing in bitcoin and saving in dollars. It is a little kickstart to the long road you're going to travel in the world of cryptocurrency, and once you reach the part where you are doing well, you could level up your investment on cryptocurrency or maybe you could put all of your money on cryptocurrency to get the profits you wanted.
362  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: October 30, 2019, 02:20:14 PM
The safest way to use Bitcoin, for now, is still to convert it into fiat money and use that to buy items (or services)--not Bitcoin as means of payment.

Correct. To prevent profit losses, we have to be wise on spending our bitcoin, and not just riding the boat across the river although we know that there is a lot danger awaits on the other side, that is not safe at all. Sure it will increase the number of people being aware of cryptocurrency existence and increase the chances of bitcoin adaptation but setting bitcoin as a mode of payment in a store or using it on buying products is a risk and option at the same time that we need to consider to think of before doing it.

It is the same to those people who are complaining that they have use a certain amount of bitcoin in the year 2015 and regretting it now, saying that if they just didn't spend it before, they could have made a lot of money last 2017.
363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: October 30, 2019, 01:26:30 PM
They are not hiding their losses, and yes, even professional traders do stupid things, we're not A.I that could constantly do a thing without any changes at all in a period of time, we get tired, and making mistakes because of fatigue in our brain due to over work. Traders only show their wins (mostly) because that is what more important, to encourage us by showing their achievements in Trading.

Where are their big loses at?

It is their success, that is where their losses at Smiley
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: October 30, 2019, 11:54:10 AM
Yes that is true but this kind of news is kind of expired by now.

Those scammers have done it a year ago and they had been successful.
Now, there is not much people who really want to risk a lot to new projects and it is hurting them. But the old ones are still on going. Bitcoin is one example of it.
Not all will be affected by it anymore.

No, in fact, scam ICOs are still keeping on growing, and lots of disappointments are piling up on every investors and bounty hunters who supported those fake ICOs, the one thing we need for this is endurance, and patience, getting used to this scams is essential to find the right one that we are looking for, we may be look like a child finding a needle in the middle of bunch of straws, but once we find it, it is all worth it.

A lot of investors lost their money and this is not only because of scammers. Hype went through and after a while everyone saw the true state of affairs. There were so many interesting companies with potential but as it turned out - promising not to do it. Fraudsters have always been and will be, such is nature.

This is very common, people always ride the hype, having the thought that it will be successful until the end, and as usual, after their ICO, you would never see them listing their coin in an exchange, the next thing you knew, they all managed to put up a tough face to kill their conscience for the sake of money, they are not humans.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: October 30, 2019, 10:09:57 AM
I alsof hold a load of shitcoins/tokens , just de fact that i never put my ethereumwallet online (i am just to scared) keep them in my wallet till the time has come to put the wallet online again

I don't understand, I mean why bother being scared of holding shit coins, and "myetherwallet" is a web wallet, so it is always online, even when you are using an app, it could be access online, web wallets (online wallets) is different compare to hardware wallets (offline wallets). Besides, accessing your Ethereum wallet from time to time is recommended, you might waste your chance to sell valuable coins because of being a pussy, forget about your shit coins, you won't make a penny out of it by the way.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DOES BOUNTY PROJECTS TAKE TIME TO ENTER A MARKET on: October 30, 2019, 09:16:33 AM
there were two option for this condition.maybe they prefer to focus on product developtmen rather than listing in any exchanges.or maybe wait the best moment when market recovered.postpone listing be best way to avoid price dumping.investor need to be patient in this moment when their token still postponed in exchanges .

It is not like that, the prices of altcoins are automatically dump once it's been released to the market, the reason why it takes time for a bounty project to enter the market is because of the exchange where they are planning to list it, they are making a deal with the owner of that certain exchange and close it before they officially list that certain token to their exchange, this is always been done professionally, they cannot just paid the exchange and it will be on it in an instant.

367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to invest safely in cryptocurrency? on: October 30, 2019, 08:41:26 AM
If a project can outgrow its competitors, then that will be a good one to go for. There are so many projects with similar products, but the capacity of their products differ. Of I find a project, I look around for the competitors in the space, then I choose the best.

You can do this on the half way of their ICO, and you'll lose the chance of making huge profits by this approach. Investing safely in a cryptocurrency is taking risks as much as we can, the more choices we made, the more choices we could have to be rich. We don't have to be bother by thinking negatively but we should always be positive on decision making, if we did already the things we need to do to secure our capital when investing, that should be suffice to have a peace of mind.
368  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless Economy: Is Society ready for transformation? on: October 29, 2019, 07:13:22 PM
~snips~

India is not "very powerful" and "advanced" when it comes to technology, they are currently in the 44'th rank, not that bad but using the term "very" is not appropriate in my opinion, it may be, if India is Japan and China, because these countries are the real deal here. India's economy are growing fast indeed, you could tell it because they rise up their rankings in terms of technology from 48'th to 44'th, but still have a lot to go.
369  Economy / Economics / Re: CASHING OUT YOUR CRYPTO-CURRENCY PROFITS on: October 29, 2019, 06:34:25 PM
I once experienced a situation like this when came to the bank office to withdrawing my money. When he looked at my account he was suddenly shocked to see the amount, that was reasonable because at that time I was 19 years old and making much money like that was impossible. Then I explained in detail how I make that money from cryptocurrency. So far i do not have problem with the bank and the police to have many money like that.

That is the problem of the society, just because you are too young to make money means that you are suspicious when you have 6 digits amount of money in your bank account, when they can't do what you can do, they will start giving you problems, what I am trying to imply here is don't even trust the banks with your money, store it on your bitcoin wallet or cryptocurrency wallets, and only cash out a few when you need it.

Small amount from time to time, stay low key, to avoid getting conflicts with the banks.
370  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: October 29, 2019, 05:55:10 PM
being volatile is not the problem and it can not be considered a "risk" in my opinion. take a look at bitcoin ,it has been volatile for all its life but it still is a very good currency and/or investment. the reason is because volatility is the product of having a small market on exchanges.

the problem is when volatility is not because of smallness of the market but it is because of manipulation. for example no matter how much money goes into altcoins they will remain highly risky because their volatility is product of pure manipulation which people call pump and dump.

My opinion for that is people wants something a less risky but they didn't know that the less risky it is, the less profits there is for them, as a human nature, it is natural to be scared, we have instinct to trust or not to trust sometimes, most likely, people wants fiat because it is "safe" for them (how ironic), but the truth is, there is no such thing as safe, dangers and risks are everywhere.

We both can't understand each other's perspective because the other side is not listening or paying attention because they are insisting that fiat is more better to use, all we can see is a tornado of opinions.
371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where you take inspiration when you tired from trading? on: October 29, 2019, 05:06:25 PM
Where you take inspiration when you tired from trading?
i hard to say when you sometimes tired from trading or have stress from ico or lose part of deposit. What you do to relax refresh youself and get inspiration for new trade. How much time you need to refresh youself for new hight.
It would take me a day or two to refresh my mind and condition myself again. I will be needing some time reflecting and spend time without thinking about anything related to trading cause it would be exhausting forcing my mind to be involved with things that made it tired. Then, I will think about the things that made me start doing trading then keep myself reminded of the things that have to be accomplished, then go back to the game.

Taking a break is a must, that is more healthy than forcing our braincells to functions and when we failed again, we'll beat ourselves out, this will not help us to get over our losses. Hard working is not bad, as long as we know our limitations, health is must be taken care of because too much stress on work loads would give you a serious sickness that could put you to bed forever.

Self relaxation, unwinding is also a part of making yourself more productive than usual, others might find it a waste of time but it is not, you are growing more in this way rather than suiciding on the field of work by working 24/7.
372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 29, 2019, 04:27:10 PM
For someone with a little understanding of digital market, holding is best.

I disagree.

Holding requires also a lot of skills, to be honest, holding without any idea what tokens you are holding, how much potential of those tokens you are holding could give you in the long run, and so many more, there are so many things that we should consider regarding about holding, it is not a child's play. Holding alone will make your profits disappear, you might wake up one day and your portfolio doesn't have any value (burning of tokens) or being delisted on exchanges.
373  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have to sell bitcoin to an alt, so... on: October 29, 2019, 03:30:10 PM
Describing a shitcoin varies from person to person. An alt that made you good money doesn't mean that it's a promising one. So please be honest, and if you ever have to sell your btc, what would you buy with them?

I'd go for Monero first, and probably for Litecoin in second, then XRP in third or Ethereum. Monero, Litecoin, and Ethereum are the big threes that proved already their existence is worht it for someone to invest their money on it, if bitcoin is the king, then these 3 are bitcoin's General.

First of all, I will not sell all of my bitcoin to an altcoin because it is not the way that I diversify my portfolio

OP didn't mentioned that he will sell all of his bitcoin to buy altcoins.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when a project fails you as abounty hunter or investor on: October 29, 2019, 02:34:58 PM
We cannot avoid or prevent this to happen, as a bounty hunter or as an investor, you must expect that a certain project could either be a successful one or will be a failure, you should always be prepare for whatever scenarios that will happen at the end of the ICO, failures are essential to us which may act as a teacher for us to be better, depends on how we see it. You can't help yourself but to be mad but you that is how life works, we lose sometimes to win sometimes.

It is called the "wheel of life" sometimes we are on the top, sometimes we are down, we have to make everything worth it for us not to regret even a single thing, if a certain project failed you, and you gave up while others didn't and earn much, that will be more heartbreaking.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO and scammers on: October 29, 2019, 01:51:28 PM
There is no hard and fast rule to pronounce an ICO as good or bad. It's the experience of the users that tells them if an ICO can be a good ICO or a bad ICO! However, in money matters, it is very important to know the details of the project owner. If we categorize few important factors for a good or bad ICO, owner and team identification will definitely come within the first 3 parameters!

In you case, I would rather suggest you not to launch an ICO itself. Because if you don't identify yourself, your project will be scrapped after the launch. And if you do, you may go to jail! If you think that your ideas are great, go to angel investors and pitch your idea! That would help you to start your business!

I agree.

You have to be a professional good looking person that have the talents to make a good ICO, it is hard to convince people to support your project, therefore you are going to need a team which you could rely on to launch a successful project. Funds, a huge funds is needed also to prepare your main dish (your ICO) the more big it is, the more funds you are going to need.

But be careful on recruiting people that will be a part of your team, run a personal background first before putting them on action, you might not want to bump on a scammer member of you team.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: October 29, 2019, 11:55:04 AM
Creating article is not easy thing. And publish0x's tips so low. After 10 article, you may earn just a few dollars... It is not easy.

Join a bounty, register to their article making (if they do have one), you don't to make 10 articles but you just have to make one or two, wait for the end of the ICO and you'll earn plenty of dollars (in cryptocurrency), if you get lucky, you know, there is a lot of bounties nowadays that are scams in the end, or will require KYC in the end which you'll need to meet the requirements in order to get your bounty.

It's too hassle but if you are not sensitive on submitting your personal information on strangers, go ahead, it's worth it, I guess.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: October 28, 2019, 03:57:28 PM
Because it is much easier to trust somebody instead of being suspicious and check every aspect before sending your money into something. Laziness and greed are the most popular reasons for people being scammed.

Lamest excuse I've ever hear, stupid rather. It is your job to figure out everything that here in the world of cryptocurrency or even in the actual world, especially if you are getting some gut feeling that a certain person is a scammer, you could smell it by the way. Scammers can't provide proof of legitimacy so you better ask it first to confirm if they could really be trusted.

You cannot be a lazy person when we are talking about money, it is hard to earn money and it is so easy to be scam.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: October 28, 2019, 03:08:20 PM
Note: This is not about how to identify good coins to HODL
This is about how you can be a good long term holder

1. You must have another source of income
Either in crypto space or outside crypto space you must have other source of income, there was a time when i used to rely on coins i hold for monthly income but most time they failed me because some altcoins takes more than a month to add value. You can learn trading or find a better job to get constant income for your daily needs.

2. Not all altcoins are good for long term holding
Some altcoins are too weak to have better value overtime, these coins only add value to price once in a blue moon,WHY?because the power of demand is too low and they have no working product,i belief that working product is what makes a coin have many more investors

3.HODL Only Altcoins With Real Use Case
There are different categories of coins with use cases, many use case are weak use case, for example using fashion  designer to back a token is a weak use case to me because it means you can only use the token to buy the designer wears and many will call this a real use case? no it wont do very well.
Make sure that the real use case of every altcoins you hold will be very reasonable, the products backing them up must be something that is different and will catch the eye of investors, the usefulness  must be outstanding .

4. Stay Updated Always
Opportunity comes but once as many know it,so always stay updated about crypto, read crypto news online and keep tracks on your altcoins so that you wont miss future updated or even token swaps, some altcoins i hold have already switched to MainNet and im glad i dont missed the opportunity, you can use blockfolio app to track your altcoins.

Altcoin season is what many are waiting for, even new projects are waiting for altcoin season to return before they get listed on exchanges,im sure of one thing and that is good things dont come easily, today is bitcoin turn to reign and one day altcoins will have its day as well.

I agree about number 1 and 4, that is the biggest factor we should consider first when we are going to hold for a long time. I'm holding my coins for about 2 years already and if you don't have any savings that you could spend while you are waiting for the right moment to trade to get your profits or if you don't have any source of income, then you will be force to give up holding.

And number 4, based on my experience, you'll lose your profits by being an ignorant, not all of the coins are going to stay forever, the burning of them are scary enough for you to always stay updated if you don't want your profits get cremated.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use crypto? on: October 28, 2019, 02:15:12 PM
there are so many crypto now of all kinds and uses, now the only problem is the advantage of crypto over its use, but in my opinion it's a natural thing, there are always benefits in every use and it's really useful now crypto and multifunctional

Disadvantages and advantages of cryptocurrencies will take a toll on us if we are going to misuse it, it is a natural thing but we have to limit everything, the freedom we are having via fiat and cryptocurrency could be the gone in a wrong way if we are going to use it on something that is not really recommended, even if it will gives us a lot of money, think of the possibilities that could go wrong and could affect you in a perspective you don't want to happen.

We have to use cryptocurrency ethically for us to live peacefully while earning profits on it, that is much better rather than being hunted by the government.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin's price is disappointing!!! on: October 28, 2019, 01:22:33 PM
The solution is pretty simple, why use something that is not good for you when there are other options for you to use, in short, why bother focusing on altcoins if you could focus on bitcoin only. We cannot expect a huge standards for altcoins to par with bitcoin, that is not going to work, they can imitate bitcoin's functionality but they can't duplicate its whole system, there is a secret on every things to remain unique, and Satoshi never expose them all.
