Holy cow I stayed awake for this? Horrible launch, not one block has been found by a pool... over 140 blocks now on the chain and even me with 36 MH/s on solo I can't get a block...
Until at least 1 pool can show they can find a block... I am back to my usual mining spots... FAIL!

Manually set RPCPORT=3659 in my conf and my local miner and im all solo now... 3651 is a bust for some reason even on Win 7.

Hi, Dev. I'm admin of 0feepool. The RPC Port 3651 is used by unix system and wallet can't be started. So....we're still not online. BWAHAHA... really? |

http://confessioncoin.com/ countdown shows 0:0:0 That's kind of a bad start the least. The other countdown on that calendar website shows an hour left. My clock shows 15minutes left.. ConfusionCoin rather It is a time zone issue... Launch is supposed to be 12 AM EDT. EDIT: Any plans to at least list the coin specs a few minutes early? Like RPCPORT! EDIT2: AND MISSED! I believe the coin launch in 1 hour (that would mean the countdown on the website is wrong!). What supposed to happen right now is the dev post the wallets and source code. Wallets and source will be available on the 26th of May, 2014 at midnight EST for:

The current status:
The DEM orderbook has been cleared.
New orders cannot be placed.
DEM withdrawal attempts are answered with "Errors: address is invalid"
My last DEM mining pool share was accepted at 2014-05-24 21 22:06:39 UTC, my miner has failed over to Eligius.
DEM deposits were not tested.
The BTE orderbook is still active.

BTE deposits have been dead for quite a while... I had an autopay get sent just before I caught wind and it has yet to show up... and the pool has been on some alternate chain for some time. |

At this rate, we're right on track to 100% ROI by August 2017  This is incorect... you are assuming Zach is not going to sell future contracts diluting our payouts and that future hardware purchases will continue to pay a bonus to us... it wont... by this time next year... the Bitfury miners we just got will not operate at a profit against power costs. The only savior in all this is when LRM finally gets their damn Imperial Monarchs, if that is the choice Zach made. |

I have coins there and cannot even login. I tried requesting info from the forgot password and it never sends an email. Was hoping to see something positive but looks like that is not going to happen.
It does let me setup a new account. I tried that and it worked so I guess I could donate to them through that. I think maybe they need a One Way sign on the website. You can check in but you can never leave.
Check your spam... i had my pass reset just yesterday and it worked instantly. |

what about an algo rather than scrypt.
x11 is popular now.dev pls consider that and lets vote for the algo.
We appreciate the comment, but we've also thought about the algorithm quite a bit, and the decision to choose one over the other is not a technical problem --we actually want to use Scrypt for this coin (!) and are welcoming all miners (CPU/GPU/ASIC). We think it provides the best security for the network at this time. We are not excluding community input though, so we are open to discussions, but at least at the time of launch, this is the vision that we've set out to achieve. INPUT: Make it merge mined with another good coin... The MIM dev made it merge mined off FRK... I have asked them to point me to something that shows what changes to make to be merge mined off another scrypt coin. You can still mine it directly but you will add so much more hash and network stability if a pool merge mines CFN off another coin. Also a good suggestion, but we are standing by our own blockchain, as we believe in true decentralization. Merge mining doesn't mean you share a blockchain... you would still retain your own chain... |

So just to point it out... I got this synced and generating but there were already 500 blocks on the chain and a money supply of over 8 million coins.
I see no mention of a premine so I am curious where these coins are...?
