361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All ICO Project Proponents Must Also Submit KYC on: May 01, 2019, 12:26:34 PM

The KYC requirement in many ICO projects has been the bone of contention of many investors and supporters with many thinking and feeling that this is not needed as this is the industry that proposes decentralization, anonymity and privacy. However, a project can argue that it is the law that requires them to know their customers and they are in fact just following the regulation. The problem is that KYC is not a guarantee that a project can never go down the coffin and run with the investors' money...maybe travelling to the "moon" and have an indefinite vacation in there until the victims can forget their misfortune of trusting them.

Now, if these project owners can require us to undergo the KYC process...should it not be rational that they themselves submit to the same so that we can be sure that we are dealing with real people with real address?

if people can trick bounty KYC thru passing fake ID's then the team behind the bounty can also did that if they really wants to scam people, the only thing that can make bounty great again I think is the intercede by the government to the team behind bounties.
362  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: May 01, 2019, 09:09:09 AM

Next week is my first phone interview. Medyo kabado.

Ano mga kadalasang tanong dito mga bossing? Saka gaano katagal.

After nun wala ng follow up question sakin.

363  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you share Bitcoin percentage in your portfolio? on: April 30, 2019, 03:44:50 PM
I own 80% bitcoin and the rest ofcourse alts and most of my alts has no good value and I am looking forward to sell it and convert it to bitcoin because I knew that the chance that the price of my alts will no longer be as good as the ICO price of it.

365  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: April 30, 2019, 05:53:59 AM
some small time trader wont agree with it because they are earning less, but for those who had capital they can make a huge number of profit they will agree with it because they already experience it. The only thing is that when they can earn because of the current market situation it really requires patience.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An old but unexplored project on: April 30, 2019, 02:14:30 AM
I've been tracking Decent(Dct) for a while. One of the first blockchain projects established in 2015. What are your thoughts? Anybody investing in or thinking of doing it? I didn't see much talking about here.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/decent/

I think DCT still has a good dev behind it and also the team behind it due to the site is still up until now and the coin has still a good value for an old coin comparing on the coin that recently listed but the value is really on the floor, since it was lauch 4 years ago the value is still good but it most of the time the price is continuously hitting the ground.
367  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you need cash for everyday use? on: April 29, 2019, 08:40:51 AM
Since we dont have a chance to do cashless transaction in every moment  we are urge to use cash we are too far from having a cashless transaction because most of the time people dont have a good knowledge about cryptocurrency, even though our cashless transaction already happening thru debit and credit cards still it requires fiat to move.

369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All about bounty payments and its effect to the project on: April 28, 2019, 05:31:10 PM
Many people think Bounty hunters are dumping the price, but if you look at the allocation of the tokens, you can see that hunters are usually getting less than 5% of the total amount, which do not have a big impact on price. Anyway, the best option for the project is to make payments in BTC or ETH.

Therefore the one who will blame for it,is either the investors and the team behind it because technically they are the one who has a great control to the token due to having a huge allocation for them. I also think that eth and btc must be the primary mode of payment and the team must convert their coin to either btc or eth if they are going to pay participants so that it wont affect the price of their coin too much.
370  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pagbibitcoin or Pagtratrabaho? on: April 28, 2019, 11:24:00 AM

Kung ako ang tatanungin, hindi ko irerekomenda ang pagfufull time sa crypto, it is always best to have an alternative source of income.

I've been there and done that. Gets mo yung principle ng work? Hehe

That is applicable until your signature campaign shuts down, sinasabi ko lang mas maganda may ibang pinagkukunan. gets mo?  Grin

Gets mo?

So, you do agree with what I said Smiley. I guess you got my point already.

No, kasi crypto earnings pa din yun kahit pa 5sources of income still crypto pa din at ang pinagpipilian dito is crypto and real life work.

371  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Kumikita parin ba kayo sa bounty campaigns? on: April 28, 2019, 04:20:07 AM

372  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin went from $5420 to $5117 in 2 minutes! Bubble? on: April 27, 2019, 02:55:05 PM
Is the crypto bubble finally coming to a end? Why and HOW is it possible for bitcoin to dump that much that fast? Is bitcoin controlled by 1 entity and will that entity dump bitcoin to $100 one day?

Why does people are always arguiny whatever the price comes, if the price raise for more than a hundred dollars then they are saying it is the start of pump and if the price drops by couple of hundreds they are now worrying. Let us keep in mind that the price will move if the investors are simulteneosly did a same actions in the market.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AMA (Ask Me Anything): The current state of Bitcoin in the Philippines 🇵🇭 on: April 27, 2019, 12:20:56 PM

The Philippines in a nutshell. A lot of lazy people that are looking for get-rich-quick schemes instead of actually working hard for them to achieve their goals. This is why we have a lot of pyramid schemes popping up and being advertised everywhere looking at you, frontrow. It's both sad and pathetic.

and recently there was a news regarding four investment scam that was offering "double your money within a week", sometimes it is not the scammer that should blame because it is the greediness of the investors, they want to double their investments within a week even the central bank cant do that.
374  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do not use Coinbase on: April 26, 2019, 01:09:00 PM
Do not use Coinbase! They have extremely poor service and will not support you if you ever encounter issues logging in. Instead, they will write a generic response to your ticket and immediately close it. If any major bank tried to pull this they would get buried in lawsuits.

Again, avoid this service at all costs. Forget their greedy 5% fees on deposits/withdrawals - it doesn't even matter if you can't get your BTC or USD back period. That's a 100% fee.

Coinbase is a well reputed exchange, if you are experiencing a bad quality of response from their support it is better if you will have a patience sending your concern, you were not only the users of coinbase therefore there were lots of issue they are encountering that they need to settle each day together yours. Maybe it is better if you open up your experience here and not influence people with just your bad experience.
375  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: April 26, 2019, 12:42:26 PM

376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops still favors on: April 26, 2019, 12:19:37 PM
Am I just lucky or was it because I'm more careful when picking airdrops? Many are complaining about airdrops been shitcoins or worthless but my own story is plain different, even when I blindly joined airdrop in 2018 im still able to make few good money out of airdrops
1)i make 100$ plus from MTC airdrop, I was given 400tokens and I sold on bitcnia, MTC coin is a Korean project and I was shocked how it manages to keep price at 0.30plus even in bear market
2)another one is originalmy ,a Brazil based project and I did make 70$ worth of tokens and I'm able to sell off too
3)was Apollo currency airdrop, I earned 23,000 pieces and able to sell at 0.0023 which was 53$
And many more, I don't know why people are complaining about airdrops, they arent that bad as stated

when you were joining an airdrop what was the common task you did? or simply passing an address? and how many airdrop you had been joined that you can consider as a failure?

maybe you had a good luck joining an airdrop because most of the time coins from airdrop has no good value.
377  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Poll] Suporta ng Masa (Merit Source) on: April 26, 2019, 11:57:23 AM

378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins stolen from bitfinex in 2016 move to new wallets on: April 26, 2019, 11:37:51 AM
This is another reminder to people not to leave coins on exchanges. Practically every single exchange out there has been hacked at some point.

you can leave coins on the exchange as long the coins is not too much
usually people leave coins in the exchange just for trading and many people expect a profit from his trading

but people should be wise storing coins from exchange sometimes they remove those coins if the volume was not that good enough to retain, and also choose a right exchange if you want to store your coins on it make sure that they had a good reputation and can sustain a good volume.
379  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Kumuha ng Cryptocurrency (Libre) on: April 25, 2019, 01:50:00 PM
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token price dropping after ICO, why so? on: April 25, 2019, 12:24:30 PM
I think token dump after listing is cause of some factors like when investors are given outrageous bonuses. Some projects gives bonuses like 90% and even 100%, which is virtually giving out the token freely. Secondly, if the project doesn't have a working product and convincing roadmap their is a great chance of dump. Then the quantity of token they give out freely in bounties or airdrop might contribute but this doesn't happen often.

bonuses is normal when you want to boost your pre sale, the most common factor is that, imagine the participants of a certain bounty program will sell all their coin simultaneously the result will really affect the price of a coin specially if the team behind it has no concrete plan to make further step for the success of the coin.
