3601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana discussion on: November 13, 2021, 10:36:04 PM
In time do you guys think that SOL will overtake ETH in market cap? Why or why not in your opinion? Does SOL have more potential/ room to grow ?

It has room to grow, bit it won't flip eth in a million years. Sol needs a correction, and that will be insanely harsh. Also most brilliant minds are developing eth2.0 and network effect for development are pretty much theirs. I am sad to say but most layer 1 project "eth killers" will be useless after Eth scales.
3602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins that are very down now that may pump? on: November 13, 2021, 10:33:09 PM
I'm wondering what coins that are very down now that may pump sooner or later.

On my radar is Reddcoin, PIVX and Neblio.  They are all on many good exchanges and are good staking coins.   Good staking coins often have a way of holding value as they earn you coins while you hold them in a software wallet, which are very easy to backup.

Those weird old died coins pump from time to time without any other reason then TA and bullmarket. They won't last as they don't have backing or development behind them. Only ton of bag holders who will shill it like there was no tomorrow. Try looking at projects that have active development and plans for the future, like Dusk Network.
3603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you guys think is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: November 13, 2021, 10:20:32 PM
Well shiba has actual roadmap, dogecoin is just a coin without ANY future or current development. I would put my money on shiba, doge isn't anything special and would be expensive to send if it had enough traffic on the blockchain. It was a funny joke but now their community seems to be quite toxic too so even the funny part is more or less gone.
3604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get info about the starts of crypto sales? on: November 13, 2021, 10:17:14 PM
Hi, guys
For a long time, one question never ceases to bother me - how do people find out about the sales of new coins even before the official announcement? I am constantly learning about it too late. Yesterday my friend told me about the start of the public sale of tokens, but the price is already rising.

Maybe there are some insider resources or groups where all this information is?

https://coinmarketcap.com/ico-calendar/ covers stuff from many places, and from there you can browse where those tokens are been sold, different platforms have various places that you can keep taps on -> https://coinmarketcap.com/alexandria/article/the-best-ido-launchpads-for-every-blockchain

Quality varies and you have always to do your own research. Don't trust projects with anonymous teams and you can pretty much count on that no matter how much research you do you will encounter few rug pulls so be ready lose your investment.
3605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: November 10, 2021, 10:48:06 AM
I wonder what happened. I would like to avoid this kind of crap in the future. Everything except price was doing well. But it seemed like no developer were interested. Maybe the code was just useless pile of crap and it didn't have a reason to exist. Who knows. I thought that team was doing just fine from the start. Maybe tean was a little bit clueless about the direction but things were going south quickly, like the price.
If the price was doing well, Then why are they can't make it? where are they listed can you tell me the current situation?

Where did you get that from? Price wasn't ever doing well, it was always going down except for 1 pump. DCT isn't listed/traded in anywhere. Last blogpost from decent network was from 2020 so this one obviously died. They never had a clear vision on what this blockchain should be for, and they more or less copied ideas from others and thought that would be enough. That's why they weren't a success story.
3606  Economy / Trading Discussion / What if Covid 19 broke the 4 year market cycle? on: November 09, 2021, 11:37:48 AM
Just spitballing this idea:

Current basis for btc 4 year cycles is based on the fact that we are assuming movements / time frames with repeat themselves or at least rhyme with the past movements, in stages of exponential highs, correction, accumulation, and continuation. And while those happen, there's no rule that it needs to happen with a similar pace.

I know we are assuming that btc cycle lenght is based on Bitcoin technical FA (halvenings) and that real world events would not affecting the cycle lenght. But Covid 19 just halted nearly everything in this planet for a very long time, so why wouldn't it affect all market cycles with it? Bitcoin wouldn't live in the vacuum when it comes to market conditions.
3607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your luck rate with CMC airdrops on: November 08, 2021, 10:34:13 PM
While those airdrops are free to participate to, they cost time, and with that time you could do bounties or just work for money that you invest into cryptos. Wishing somekind of stroke of luck won't get you anywhere. Only work works if you want to earn something.
3608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: NMX Nominex token on: November 08, 2021, 10:29:54 PM
What they need is marketing they last held their advertising when they are in their launching period, they should sustain it now by launching a signature campaign or a social media campaign, some old projects are doing it, they launch a new campaign, even a short campaign can make a difference.

I politely disagree. Last signature campaign could be one of the reasons we are on down spiral. Well that and lack of utility. I already asked them in telegram if they would host IEOs, that only NMX holders could participate to. Also would be cool if right to make IEOs would have to be paid with NMX.
3609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mixer Detection in 2021 on: November 07, 2021, 11:09:55 PM
Which exchangess? Most of the US based ones, like Coinbase & Gemini will close your account if they think funding is coming from a mixer. There are lots of discussions about that happening here and on many other sites.

I haven't even heard about this one and didn't find anything with quick googling. Could you please provide some examples/evidence about this so i can verify this? I mean i know that coinbase has closed accounts but i didn't ever see mixer as a reason.
3610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find these coins? on: November 07, 2021, 08:45:35 PM

So how to spot these coins before they get popular or are listed on big exchanges and are purchaseable at decentrilised exchanges?

That's a million dollar question my friend. Even if you find one as there are ton of different platforms, you have to waste so much time browsing so many garbage token sales that you wish you never saw. Then there might ONE of them that's even semi-good. You might get into whitelist or not, and even when the project looks good in the paper, it doesn't mean it would rise in value at all. It might even drop because of various reasons.

If you find one, you need to be VERY patient and very lucky at the same time.
3611  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Exchange] GRAVIEX Exchange: low fees, fast withdrawals, high security on: November 07, 2021, 08:39:24 PM
IS KYC mandatory or can we use without it?

Didn't found documentation very enlightening on this matter.

They were pretty vague on rules when i was still in, it sounded like they didn't really know what they were doing nor they would wok with any sort of regulators. I mean it wasn't supposed to be even an exchange when they started but an utility token Cheesy

Graviex was just a happy misstep from them that came without any warning.
3612  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Runaway beginner on: November 07, 2021, 08:16:25 PM
I still remember initially when this forum was first introduced to me by a colleague, the enthusiasm I had towards it was very skyrocketing but with time the interest died in ways I never expected reasons being that as a novice I didn't and still don't know how this forum navigates and it's growth processes for a member, and this was as a result of the fact that the person that told me about this forum never gave me a clear clue or a mentorship hand about the processes. So with time I was so discouraged about the whole thing cause like they say you can't obviously have knowledge of what you don't understand, so overnight I just lost interest and ran_off, like for months I never logged in into the forum cause I felt a waste of my time and data.
Fortunately for me today, am back to it again, cause maybe I really want to really get apt insight on how to learn and grow from this platform. In other words, I really need to know how things work here, so please those that have been here before me I could really make use of your ideas and suggestions as a fresh beginner ones again.
Thanks, looking forwards to get helpful replies!

You can start by reading the rules https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0

Many people don't seem to think that's important and then they act surprised when their account gets banned for breaking the rules.

3613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEW Gem Coin's 10X-100X October-November on: November 07, 2021, 08:08:45 PM
Dusk Network. Compare your flash loans to private flash loans and private but decentralized smart contracts. You can't really do nothing but win with that combination. And it's under 400th in the mc so it's undervalued to say the least. After mainnet it's seriously going to be one of those top 10 coins you wish you knew before.
3614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: November 07, 2021, 12:02:07 PM

Delisting DCT from all exchanges best describes current situation in project. But a few years ago DCT was traded on many high volume exchanges (Bittrex, Kucoin, HitBTC and other).

3615  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet or Exchange? on: November 06, 2021, 11:39:12 PM
If the swap will happen through a dex that uses an Ethereum chain or smart contract, it's more expensive. That's why sending it onto an exchange is going to have you a lesser fee. Unlike swapping it on dexes, it will require you fee for the transfer and as well as the fee for swapping it and that's not cost-efficient.
You just have to look what exchange that token is accepted and has a decent volume to trade it.

We might need to underline how much more expensive it is because people don't seem to understand the difference. In dexes like uniswap, you have to pay something like $100 per swap. And you still might get rejected and would have to pay it again. So obviously CEX makes more sense financially. Things might change radically after eth 2.0 cheaper fees.
3616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MetaZilla on: November 06, 2021, 11:34:50 PM
At the first glance metazilla doesn't seem to solve anything. It's more like a generic bsc token riding with the word "meta" that promises to moon (which is a number one signal for rug pull by the way). I really wish that people wouldn't buy in to these, but that's just too much to ask. Anyone who is reading this: there are some real IDOs that are actually worth investing to.
3617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON Price Prediction: How Much Will TRX Be Worth In 2021 on: November 06, 2021, 11:28:51 PM
While Tron isn't a project that people should take seriously, they have their followers pouring money in. And at this time I can't see any reason that tron wouldn't hit $1 per coin. I don't have to like it but this is what the market currently is and we have to consider the effect of newb investors have in this mad market. They can pump anything. Even toy version of ETH like Tron.
3618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if meme tokens Never became a thing? on: November 06, 2021, 11:24:41 PM
If every good crypto projects are been adopted like how people are adopting meme tokens today what do you think would have happened to crypto market already? If shiba never existed and doge never surge as much as it did and the only option for new investors is BTC and others would this have bring BTC to 80k already ?

I have seen this mentality lot with bitcoin maximalists saying that if everyone just focused on bitcoin, it would have all the marketcap of those crappy altcoins. But in real world it doesn't work like that. There will be even more saturated market with bad investment calls. Memes are natural part of the adoption. You can't really underestimate how much new generations put money in and that they would invest "seriously".
3619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: November 06, 2021, 11:21:04 PM
Is there any one who can let me know the current situation of this project? Is thee any one from decent who can tell me what's going on because your social channel have rarely any news from long time.

Well obviously it's dead. Or have you seen any news in ANYWHERE about DECENT? Their telegram died long time ago, it's not listed in anywhere and team went silent long time ago. You really can't get back from the dead. It was more like living dead for a long time but people (like me) were in disbelief.
3620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with a potential like the Ethereum. on: November 06, 2021, 11:18:24 PM
You mean smart contract based projects? I got you

1. Avalanche
2. Solana
3. Polkadot

The fact is these coins are going to moon so hard this end of the year and if you even want more insane profits find metaverse projects running under these three smart contract projects like polkacity or polkabridge, good luck

Also you might want to take a look what Dusk Network is building. Privacy smart contracts on layer 1. Insanely cool stuff. Like state of the art with the most talented team i've seen in a long time, and partnerships/connections that will blow your mind. And what comes to their code, it's unmatched. Just take a look.
