3601  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best multiplayer game. on: March 05, 2015, 06:48:29 PM
Minecraft is still amazing, but new games like Starmade are taking it to the next level. Also check 7 Days to Die, is a zombie survival with high end graphics and you can destroy the terrain and build anything just like in Minecraft. This game is so damn addictive once you get the basics.
3602  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC DOWN continue? Why? on: March 05, 2015, 06:47:00 PM
BTC DOWN continue?

last night bitcoin price is 281$ now price of 1 bitcoin is 264$ and lossing value continue
see the price of 1 btc - http://preev.com/

What is the main reason the price is drop back to the same rate ? 230$

I don't know any particular reason why is this so. Bitcoin is a speculative asset. No one knows for certain whether the price will go up or down, unless they have enough coins and $$$ to move the price and control it in their own hands.

No one has enough coins anymore to manipulate the market, unless you are on of the few original whales, and even then i dont think they want to risk having so many coins at once in an exchange.
3603  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price is starting going up now on: March 05, 2015, 06:45:34 PM
after going down a few time ago the price of bitcoin slowly going up now, hope it still going up so fast.  Grin

Love the fact that unlike newbies who used to FUD about the price , we now have newbies trying to pump the price Smiley

The first post pumper i have yet to see it  Smiley Nice one op we may see a little more of a rise but it is more than likely a planned pump and unfortunately will have to drop again soon, probably really soon. Hate being negative but it is what i believe and have seen multiple times and this is no different/
Really is what is happening.
Goes down, it can be (I wish it not), hopefully not fall equal at the beginning of this year.

It's going up but it will go down again for a correction at 300 due people being insecure.
3604  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else who care less about bitcoin now than before? on: March 05, 2015, 06:44:13 PM
It's the opposite for me.  I care less about the price and charts, and more about the onslaught of positive news that's hit in just the first 2 months of the year!

If that doesn't give you an e-Boner, then I don't know what to tell you.

Fuck the price.  Let the day traders worry about that.  Buy and HODL is the only strategy you should even think of.

Im the same. Back in the day i used to obsess over bitcoinwisdom.com. Now i just read interesting news and stuff about Bitcoin and Know it will be a global success, so no need to obsess over price.
3605  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: March 05, 2015, 05:58:22 PM
I think it is.

Bitcoin use adoption has stalled. Media interest has dissipated. Prices have only slowly continued to decline for a long time now. Bitcoin securities have always been and still are a complete mess, with a near 100% failure (scam/fraud/incompetence/etc) rate. Mining has been concentrated in the hands of a few giant players, eliminating much of the advantage/security/democracy of thousands of individuals being the money processors. Alternative forms of online payment with US dollars (and other fiat currencies) are now cheaper, faster, and more secure than bitcoin (and of course far more usable to buy/sell real goods/services), eliminating any of its advantages as a payment system. Continued decline of bitcoin and strength in fiat currencies has put the lie to the idea of bitcoin as a store of value; there are far better more reliable hedges against inflation. Meanwhile the real economy is firing on all cylinders, stock markets are at all time highs, corporate earnings are higher than ever, unemployment is low, etc. Even amid the boom, no one cares about bitcoin any more. Bitcoin was a fad that lasted a few years, and is now on its way to being forgotten.

Thoughts? Anyone seriously disagree with this conclusion?

Look at this.

Now look at the crash.

Now realize that Bitcoin is still the #1 computing power in the world.

Get some f***ing perspective you catastrophic guys. Sit back and relax. Bitcoin is unstoppable. You literally need to do shit nothing about it beyond waiting and let things develop.
3606  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who's your superhero? on: March 03, 2015, 02:32:31 AM
Son Goku is all time favorite. I grew up watching that anime so much. I like it better than all these american marvel heroes.
3607  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Teen coaxed friend to commit suicide, then tweeted how much she missed him on: March 03, 2015, 02:29:06 AM
What's shocking is how people are able to tweet and post shit on social media pretty much after such traumatic event.
3608  Economy / Speculation / Re: A day will come .. on: March 03, 2015, 02:20:54 AM
Naw. The generous bearwhales allowed me to get 3 times as many coins as I initially set out for when I started. It's all good, we need both pumpers and dumpers for a healthy market. The Long Wait is annoying, but in the long run a good thing for me.
I thank whoever crashed Bitcoin to sub 300 to give us a second opportunity to amass as much Bitcoin as humanly possible.
3609  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy NOW or miss out! .... LOL? on: March 03, 2015, 02:11:11 AM
There's always the fear of missing out (FOMO) when it comes to small rallyes. Sometimes that fear actually continues to fuel the rallye. But right now we're just below a major resistance that pushes us back again and again, yet the price doesn't want to break down - incredible!
FOMO is a bitch, and the fall from 200 to 0 is way easier to take than the fall from 1000 to 0. Don't miss out.
3610  Economy / Economics / Re: pump and dump on: March 03, 2015, 02:04:01 AM
Only worth attempting when there are trustworthy exchanges. With the present bunch the likelihood is that they'd front run you and come out on top.

yeah good point, i wonder why no exchanges allow users to have their own private key, would be nice to see a site like blockchain.info where you can back up your key but for actual trading, do you know if any site like this exist already?

Not to my knowledge. I'm sure there are properly run exchanges right now but there's no way of knowing. Once Gemini and Coinbase are properly up and running they'll probably be accountable for that type of behaviour.
They better be. We can't afford a single "ups, got my shit hacked" with Gemini or Coinbase, that would be terrible.
3611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Extreme waste of electricity on: March 03, 2015, 02:00:51 AM
There is no 'special hash algorithm' that can only be performed by a certain number of devices.  What happens when someone makes another million of these devices and has control over the network?  Even if the algorithm was closed source what prevents reverse engineering, or those involved from cheating.  You would have a trustless decentralized network which was completely centralized and requires eternal trust in those who set it up.   I think I would pass.

This sums it up. If it was easier, anyone with a ton of money could penetrate the network and create trouble. But since it's so ridiculously hard, the amount of electricity you would need makes it pointless since you would make more gains by being a legitimate participant in the network rather than trying to attack it with say a double spending or whatever.

3613  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: March 02, 2015, 07:00:10 PM
THere will be a long time of sub 1K before we see ATH again. Everyone one year ago was claiming 2K by January 2015... so calm the fuck down and enjoy the slow ride.
3614  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Germany is ready for the republication of Mein Kampf on: March 02, 2015, 06:49:44 PM
If it is anywhere near as boring as Ayn Rand's stuff then I don't think I'd bother even trying to wade through it.

Cheesy

I think it's at the same level. Only Lacan can be even more boring, that cunt was such a dense fuck.
3615  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Zombies apocalypse is coming . on: March 02, 2015, 06:47:08 PM
The closes i've seen to real life zombies is when that black guy went nuts after consuming bath salt and attacked some guy bitting his throat or some shit. I forgot the name of the guy.
3616  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Education Programming 101: Destroy Logic on: March 02, 2015, 06:45:59 PM
You can be self-taught thanks to the internet these days. The internet is a great tool, it all depends in how you use it.
3617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cannot Succeed (heres why) on: March 02, 2015, 06:43:34 PM
if the world is Russia, then your theory is correct. Otherwise, its a pure BS dude.

http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/03/02/article-russias-hypocrisy-bitcoin/
Doesn't matter. Bitcoin will get inside russia no matter how much Faggotin and the rest of dictators try to ban freedom from their poor citizens.
3618  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price change vs. number of transactions on: March 02, 2015, 06:42:15 PM
Number of transactions going up is always good news regardless price. Price can be manipulated, right now there is a war against Bitcoin going on to keep the price down.
Meanwhile more and more people are using it regardless price.
3619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is too complex for the average person on: March 02, 2015, 06:41:08 PM
Anyone ever got the feeling that Bitcoin is too complex for the average person? The average person wants things as simple as possible, so when the word, Blockchain, Decentralization, etc, come into play, I feel that makes it too complicated for the average person to understand or even care.

yah, that's why I sold all mine at $8

why sold all ?
i bought potcoin and when it price doubled i sell more than half  but not all, essentially i own free potcoin. why sell all ?

for the same reason I sold all my Xcelera (XLA), I guess

lack of faith ?

Yes, all altcoins except MSC and XMR are pump and dumps, so get your money (BTC) and run.
3620  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are there any people making a living on Bitcointalk? on: March 02, 2015, 03:39:58 PM
I don't think it's possible, you would need to live in a country where stuff is really cheap.
