3601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 20, 2020, 11:27:14 PM
I think he will turn Free agency this year. If he continues his good performance, it will surely attract a good contract and hopefully, he gets the pay that he deserves.

It's not about payments dude, it's about his dedication to the game. Yes, Clarkson is super underrated player and I don't think his paycheck deserves what he is capable of. But men, look at this guy, playing without complain on how much he gets and that's how his professionalism be seen.

You didn't understand the context of what the user is saying.

I will elaborate it for you, if Clarkson will maintain his good performance, there are other teams that will show interest to him and will offer him a good contract that above his average. And I don't see why he should complain on how much he gets. His party agreed on it.

I am thinking of a possible $20 million per year or a $100 million contract at least, he deserve that even with his minutes, or if the team really wants to maximize his contribution in the floor, then he should put him in the starting line up.
3602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: January 20, 2020, 11:05:11 PM
Good luck today boys, I know that the game already starting but I am on raptors -9.5. So far the game is looking not so good.
Really not looking good, actually Raptors failed to cover that spread as they only won by 5 points.

The score of the game was 122-117..Surprising for Atlanta as they look like they are already competing in their recent games, I lose my bet also, we are on the same side.
3603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange platform are why ieos have gone quiet on: January 20, 2020, 10:54:51 AM
IEO is not a problem, it's a good platform actually but it should be done in a reputable exchange that would not fool the investors just try to let them play the pump and dump game. If only Binance can produce good IEO, it doesn't matter, people then has to invest only in Binance.
3604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do u think about BNB? Worth to buy? on: January 20, 2020, 10:19:00 AM
My suggestion is buy bnb and hold it for sometimes. Because have a good news about bnb. Binance CEO announced they will burn  100,000,000 Bnb. If they do it,  then all holders earn more profit. So buy some coins not more.
 Here is tweet link- https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1218511715538587648?s=20

That's a huge announcement, what is CZ up to for this decision?

As long as BNB remains to be on top of the exchange and has community support, I guess this decision will bring a bullish future for BNB
Imagine , the total supply of BNB is only 187,536,713 BNB, so that would only be 87 million circulating BNB and total supply in the market.
3605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BSV a bubble ? on: January 20, 2020, 09:49:21 AM
BSV recently seen growth of more than 100% in one day
but not have enough liquidity.
many exchanges already delisted long time ago,
Is there any future of BSV?

Because of the hype thats why its getting attention.

Im not a holder of this coin but if I were you, I will sell my bsv while it has value because the hype can turn to opposite.

Well its up to holders if they truly believe on CSW's claim that he is the real satoshi.

Yeah that's due to the hype, but have we seen it's trading volume when it pump, BSV has a very big trading volume and even as we speak, BSV still has $3 billion in trading volume and other exchages delisting BSV seems not getting the support of the community.
3606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Data Shows Why Bitcoin SV’s 163% Rally in a Week Won’t Last on: January 17, 2020, 01:39:33 PM
Actually I don't to spend time checking the price movement because I already believe that it's due to the manipulation only.

just like what happen last year, BSV pump but afterwards it dump again, that makes this market so exciting and at the same time so dangerous, so everyone needs to fully understand on how manipulation is happening in the market especially on coin that is back by a person with bad reputation.
3607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BSV a bubble ? on: January 17, 2020, 01:14:28 PM
BSV is so hype, it can attract a lot of investors that's why we are seeing it pump like that big.
Actually if you are not a believer of BSV, you would say it's a bubble but for those who believe on CSW story, they will invest and hold no matter what happen.

after the pump, a lot of article was published regarding BSV, some even says BSV is going for an exit scam, but there's no basis for that.
I just think it's just normal because the market is hype and very unpredictable.
3608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we overcome our gambling addiction! on: January 17, 2020, 12:57:20 PM
I don't think that overcoming gambling addiction is that easy especially if your body is always finding it.

It always start with mind conditioning, if a person already condition his mind in gambling, the body will follow.

I remember my grandpa who is old enough and he is not really feeling most of the time, but comes Sunday as his schedule for cock fighting, he will then feel so healthy like he is still at his young age, .. that's how gamblers feel, and some does not even play sleepy when playing cards because of the excitement and fun they are getting.
3609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cielo exchange: is anyone withdraw funds from here? on: January 17, 2020, 11:13:42 AM
Sorry but I am not even familiar with the exchange, actually I tried to search in CMC but couldn't find the exchange name and any exchange that is not listed in CMC is something I would not trust.
3610  Economy / Services / Re: Bitsler Signature & Avatar Campaign (Closing Friday) on: January 17, 2020, 11:03:11 AM
One of the longest running signature campaign in the forum has finally come to an end, I don't know it's 3 years already but those who have survive that long here is  not only earning a decent amount but they are also a big part of the success of Bitsler, congratulations to the participants, the campaign manager and the owner, you all did a great job.
3611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now that we are in 2020 on: January 17, 2020, 10:49:35 AM
no, investors no longer trust ICO because there are too many scammers in ICO. IEO has also begun to lose its popularity because most will throw away after listing so in my opinion if there is a large pump maybe some people will only choose investments in top altcoin
And not everyone ICO becomes successful and it's a different time during 2017 and I think everyone has learned a valuable lesson with those ICOs. Because they are not that good anymore and investors will buy bitcoin or established altcoins if they think it's worth their money.
Like the said events coming such as halving and other changes for Ethereum, this will gather the attention of the crowd and will reduce the attention the ICO gets.
Definitely after 2017 is not only about the bad market but it also gives us a lesson, a lesson that we should be careful when investing and we have to ensure we understand what we are investing. The hype on ICO is now gone, we are not enjoying a more secured platform which is the IEO and hopefully it will grow this year as the market will be bullish.
3612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 17, 2020, 09:41:53 AM
Just like the previous season, Giannis seemed to be unstoppable but the raptors stopped the seemingly unstoppable Bucks.
Raptors can't stop him this playoffs because they got no Leonard anymore.
What team would stop him in the playoffs, probably the sixers but they are so unstable on the road, or the Celtcic? well, Bucks can still beat them.

Now, it's too early to say that Giannis is unstoppable not unless if he can prove that he can carry his team to the top.
Giannis might once again win the MVP race and we can also expect an improvement in the playoffs as last playoffs was a big lesson for them to learn.

I could bet on that.
3613  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: January 17, 2020, 05:30:00 AM
I was trading from work before, I was essentially trading at home all day and at work I was watching price most of the times, but there were so many openings and if I didn't trade I would have to miss going to work. When I didn't trade there, I would have to leave work absolutely. Basically, after two days of trading I doubled my btc holdings at that time. I suppose either I've taken the next day off or it's been the weekend. I've been sleeping for more than 2 days. I traded from work  and nobody said anything because there was no rule against it and I was doing it.

That's not being fair to the company of whatever business type you are working, you are spending your work time for your personal agenda. haha.
actually I am also guilty with that in the past, but I don't do it many times, I stopped doing it when I realize that when trading we need to focus more and we can't do that at work since our job should be our main focus.

either your performance in trading would improve but your performance or output in your job should definitely decrease.
3614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we overcome our gambling addiction! on: January 17, 2020, 04:49:34 AM
i can relate on this mate, because my cousin use to be addicted like this and all his stuffs has been sold just to continue playing, but one day when His wife cannot stand anymore?she game him ultimatum to choose ,if he Continue gambling that bad then they will leave him with their children and this make a call for him,so he made a decision and stopped gambling.

what i am saying here gambling addict needs a call, but sad to say sometimes this happens when we are drowned and almost have nothing to recover,

They need someone who won't tolerate their addiction, good if they have a family that are not gambling addicts also as they will be a big help.
your body is not looking for gambling unlike addiction in drugs or cigars, so anyone can stop abruptly, and stay away in gambling,.. in the end, people just need an inspiration to change and be cured from this kind of disease.
3615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we overcome our gambling addiction! on: January 16, 2020, 12:26:38 PM
I have overcome my gambling addiction with the help of my family, me alone, I would not successfully solve my problem as I was already taken controlled by my emotion and my brain is not functioning well.

If we are gambling and we usually break our pre game rules like "never chase bets" or "don't deposit when you lose your bankroll",, it's a sign that we have a problem and that might put us in big trouble in the long run.
3616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: January 16, 2020, 11:50:52 AM
How do you deal with loss? We have different gambling experiences and the person itself who would discover how he/she would deal with this kind of loss. If he/she can't deal with his/her loss it's time to seek a professional.

That's the reality that others still failed to accept, gambling is risky so we need to accept if we lose.
Problem with some gamblers is that they are too aggressive and not realistic, they tend to think that they can make easy money so they lose easily.

When a gambler loses control that's the start of his disaster as most likely he will just lose more when he is losing and will not end up winning if can't stop gambling even when already profited.
3617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy altcoin? on: January 16, 2020, 11:31:46 AM
if you buy when you post and hold until now you will get a profit, the actual investment can be done at any time depending on the research you are doing on the token
For long term investment, it's still a good time to buy altcoins.
in the past few days, altcoins rise but only few of them, majority are bitcoin forks while other major altcoins has not rise yet.

For example, ETH still stays below $200, and that's very cheap IMO.
once it pump, it could probably go back to $1000 and that would mean good profit.

IF bsv did it, I don't think ETH can't.
3618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BSV goes up by 50% in 24 hours, bull trap? on: January 15, 2020, 11:21:13 PM
Real Bitcoin will crash all fake bitcoin forks.

In the long run maybe, but let's just give these forks some enjoyment now as all of them are just total hype created by CSW.
BSV did dump, then what? I am not expecting again it will stay at this level, for sure that will dump again and in fact it has already started.

bsv negative 19% now https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-sv/markets/
3619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 15, 2020, 10:51:47 PM

Ginebra sustained their lead and won. This just shows how dominating Ginebra is against the Meralco. This also shows how badly Almazan is still hurt in the game. They should have rested him and come back stronger in the next game.

Almazan were still able to generate points, and it's just right that he should play because he can play and he was not injured anymore.
He only produce less than what he produce in the 1st and 2nd game before the injury, but that's alright, there's still game 5 that he can improve his performance and the game is not over yet.
3620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK gamblers cannot use Credit Cards for gambling from April 14, 2020 on: January 15, 2020, 10:30:23 PM
That seems to be a positive news as that could help reduce the gambling addiction.

There's a rule that's popular which is only gamble only what you can afford to use, and credit card could be a good weapon to break that simple rule.
I am not saying everyone who gambles with credit card is bad, because I know credit card is also good for convenience but people who are prone to addiction might use their cc for gambling negatively.

That may be somewhat true but a credit card really in most cases is a relief.Whenever we run out of money we use that as a mean to buy goods and pay the debt every month to the bank. The fact that may impact someone in a negative way is not a convincing argument that this should be banned. In Europe most of the gamblers gamble exactly with that payment method and maybe other countries follow UK making difficult for many people to gamble.

The government wouldn't make a decision if they didn't study it, for sure there's a negative effect on their people lifestyle so they made that kind of decision to ban credit card for gambling so people would really focus on their needs and their debt will not balloon into a big amount that may cause a big problem financially.
